-=Chapter 6=-

Three months passes. it had been awhile since the last letter Landon gave to Carol. Non have came around through those months. He must have been busy. Carol couldn't figure what was going on. She was scared out of
her mind.

Sitting at a table in the coffee shop near by her house, she stared at the table while holding tight to her mug.

Carol didn't know what to do. She didn't know what was happening each minute,second, or hour at the muggle world. She was here. Nothing to do, seeming like she was weak... and Powerless.

"Carol Brooks?" Called a voice.

Carol jumped, breaking from her daze. She looked behind her and couldn't believe who she was looking at. Finally seeing a familiar face. Feeling not lonely anymore and actully happy again.

"Wendy Loradell?!" She smiled.

Carol hugged her friends. With such a show able stomach the first thing Wendy could notice was her stomach. "Oh my gosh!... No way!" She cried not to loud, as she placed her hands on the stomach of Carol. " Father?! Where is he!?! Gender?! Name?! Tell, darling!"

Carol sighed. "Landon, from our third year of Hogwarts. He isn't here, he's on a trip at the muggle world finding information on the dark lord-"

Wendy cut her off saying, "Oh boy. Thats isn't good at all."

"No kidding Wen. I'm terribly confused and worried. I haven't gotten any letters back for these past three months and I thinks I only have a few days or one more month until she comes out."

"Oh, my. Thats isn't good at all, Carol. Don't think to negative. Try to think positive... so whats her name?" She asked looking back down again, at her friends tummy.

"Lily-ann..." The 29 year old witch drank the last of her coco.

"If you'd like, I'd be glad to bring you with to my house. You have me and you wont be as lonely. And as long as I'm here, I'll be here when the baby is ready to come out.. if that is, Landon doesn't come back." Wendy smiled.

Carol did too and with that she nodded in agreement. "Thanks you so much. With out you being here, things wouldn't go so great." She hugged her friends and they both walked to the clear door and off to Carols house.

Once they got there, she packed all her things in a big red and green bad. Carol looked once more around each room to find anythings she needed. She nodded and walk to the door. "Ready." She said to Wendy.

"Good," She placed her hand on Carol shoulder, " Lets just hope for the best, Darling." She took a glimpse at the living room and then the two women left the house.

Finally! There you have it, Chapter 6! Hope you enjoyed it. I'll get the other chapter done soon.

Im so terribly sorry guys. Here is the next chapter. Sad not a lot of comments came. Please people, read my great FF!

-=Chapter 7=-

March walked through slowly for Carol but it ended and April came in. Still with Wendy, she layed on her bed watching television. There was really nothing to do around the house but eat, watch t.v. or talk to her baby in her stomach. With or without Wendy around. When Wendy would be around Carol would talk to her if she felt like it. More than she she usually would, Carol had weired cravings and get into random mood swings.He stomach was very big. More see-able than what Wendy saw. Carol had now felt the baby kick more than before.

Wendy had came into her house with a pile of owl mail in her hand. "Home!" She called out to Carol while flipping through the mail. Suddenly her eyes widen as she stopped staring at this one envelope reading:

Ministry of Magic
Carol G. K. Brooks
240 Hope ave
Large Blue Boom

Neat not to small writing. Wendy couldn't believe her eyes. Landon wrote back.. or so she thought. "Carol, look what came in the mail." Exclaimed Wendy, walking quickly to the room.

Carol fixed herself up and took the white rectangle shaped envelope. Her hands shacked, while as to trying to opened it. Once her eyes had glued to the words, her eyes became red and puffy. Tears quickly ran down her cheeks.

Dear Mrs Brooks,
We, the Ministry of Magic are sorry to say that your husband was killed on March 20th at 12am. We know you don't want to see what you are about to read but we had found the dark lord. For such a brave and daring man you have he fought for what was right. Sadly the dark lord killed him.

"It's a lie! All a lie, he couldn't have died!" Carol cried out as tears still rolled down.

Wendy almost wanted to cry to as she watched her best friend look so hurt and miserable. lonely without a man of hers to be on her side... even with such trouble having a baby coming soon. "I..." She became to cry now "I'm so sorry Carol!" Wendy hugged her tight into her arms. The two cried.

Next day Carol an Wendy went to Landon's funeral. It was to much for Carol. See so quickly to see this all look like it flashed before her eyes. It felt so weired to see her husband in a black coffin. A Tear rolled down her left eye and another came down form her right.

"We are gathered her today for the death Landon Marcus Brooks. A Man who was not only brave,Daring,caring, loving, and so much more that most of all he was something special to all his family and friends. For such a huge journey he made he was the one who was chosen to have a pure good sole leave the wizard world. Landon was great to all his people..." Said a not to old man.

Wendy comfort Carol as best she could, then Carol came up. She placed a few things on the coffin for Landon to keep with him. "Thanks you all so much for coming to... i guess support my husband of his death. Now Landon was great each and everyone one of us, but," She looked down staring at the grass,"meant so much more to me. I can't explain how he is very spacial to me. Beside that, It would have been great if he still have been here to support me and out daughter... Lily, but this had happen..." The clear warm tears started to come. She couldn't saying anything more so she walked back to Wendy crying.

The family members and friends all felt bad. The next person came up to talk about their beloved Landon. As Carol cried she could still hear those words in her ear from each person.

Two of the women came home. Carol paced herself into her room and changed into pajamas. She then walked out seeing already, Wendy cooking coco and little snack.

"Now what am I going to do?" The 29 year old witch asked, sitting down on the kitchen chair. She felt as though everything turned blank in her head.... or brain. and her vision could only see white, like nothing at all was there. Just her in a white world.

"Nothing...You can't do anything but just know Landon is always there with you even if he isn't. And I know you already know that Carol. You know whats right and whats the truth."

Carol nodded, still dazing out. "Yeah...' She said in a low tone.

-=Chapter 8=-

April went kind of a quick since it had already been almost the end of the month. It was a Thursday- April 24. Wendy was out, working. Carol waited for her to come home. Waiting until those three hours passed.

While waiting, she watched t.v. in the living room. Nothing interesting was on, but the witch kept on switching the channels. She sighed in boredom. "There is nothing to watch! I can't go out anywhere unless Wendy is home. I'm very bored." Ans she sighed once more.

Changing channels every second, suddenly Carol's stomach started to hurt. "Owww!" She called out. It stopped for a few minutes. Carol was sure it was just a minor ache, but it started again and felt worse then the first one. "OWWWW!" Carol yelled. Then her water broke. "Oh no...oh no!" She panicked. Wendy wasn't around at all.

The pain in her stomach began to get worst. Her hand was planed on her stomach and she curled up yelling. "Oh my god!" She rolled down on the floor curled up next to the couch. The pain kept coming. She cried. No was around to help her. "Wendy!" She cried. "Wendy!" She said once more. Carol stopped and cried. "I need someone... help." She said silently.

Carol looked around to find paper. she tried her best to crawl around the house. "Oww" She said as she crawled. Finally after three minutes looking she found paper and pen. She scribbled down the words. Being in so much pain, the handwriting look horrible and was hard to even read. Carol didn't care. She needed Wendy now.

"Koober? Dolly?" She called to Landon and Her owl. "Please, one of you come to mommy." Finally Koober came flying in from the little owl room in Wendy's house. Carol smiled, still in the position. "Good boy-OWW!- Please take this quickly as possible to Wendy." She told the owl. Being in so much a pain, Carol 's eyes slowly closed. "Wendy... please..." Her voice trailed off and her eyes were closed completely.

Carol stirred on the hospital bed. Her eyes slowly opened and found Wendy with a worry look. "Thank god you are ok!" She said. Wendy took Carol's hand. "I'm so terribly sorry for not being home."

Carol didn't care about that as much, "It's fine. As long as I'm ok, it's perfectly fine." She patted Wendy's hand and smiled.

She was mostly worried about her baby. Being in her stomach still, she wondered if that would cause problems. The Doctor opened the door and walked in the room with a smile. "Hello Mrs. Brooks. I see you finally woke up."

"Doctor please tell me, I am able to still have this baby? Please tell me she will be ok!" Carol called out of nowhere.

The Doctor took of his glasses off and nodded. "We will start in a few minutes." He told Carol, but she didn't want that.

She'd Rather do it now. Her baby has been in her tummy for a while. "Can't we just do it now?"

Doctor Ockley shook his head. "I rather not. It's-"

"Doctor, I have had this child in me for awhile now, can we please just do it now."

"Miss, I'm only doing whats best for you. Do not argue with me." He told her.

So the 29 year old women waited, until it was time.

Carol was very happy about this moment but also sad. Happy because this was the day Lily-ann would be coming into the world. Finally being able to see her little cute chubby face. But sad, because of what just happened early. A weired experience of having to give labor. On the other hand... Landon. The man of Carol's life. The man who was going to be a father. The man that should have been with her instead of Wendy. It was alright. As long as Landon was in her heart and Lily's then there was no problem at all.

The Doctor came in again with his crew, "Ready?" He asked Carol.

She nodded. Wendy smiled and left the room as ordered by Dr. Ockley.

Oh how the pain hurt. "Push!" Called the Doctor. Carol's face was red. She pushed as hard as she could. "Little bit more Carol. You can do this." Ockley said.

"Oh my god!" She said in pain. She didn't expect this to be so painful and hard. She pushed as hard as she could.

After a few minutes of pain. Lily-ann was out and into the world. She cried and cried. Carol cried also, but with happiness in her. "My baby girl." She said with tears. The nurse quickly went to a room to clean Lily up.

Wendy finally came in as soon as all the nurses and the Doctor left the room. "She looks so cute!" She said to Carol. Carol giggled. "I know!"

The nurse came back, smiling as she gave Lily to Carol. "She is adorable." She said with a sweet smile. Lily was sound a sleep cuddly next her mother.

"Have you chosen a name?" The nurse asked. Carol nodded. "Lily-ann." She simply said.

The nurse nodded with a small smile. "That is a prefect name for your child.

"If you don't mind me asking, is the father here?" Carol looked at the nurse. She shook her head. "Oh, he must be very busy with work, right?" Carol shook her head again. "Divorced?" Once again, the witch shook her head.

"He died..." The nurse put a sad expression on her face. "I'm so sorry. I should have never asked."

Carol chuckled. "No, It's fine. You don't have to be sorry." The nurse nodded and left. "I will come back for Lily-ann and your medicine."

The nurse left, leaving Carol with her baby. Lily was sound a sleep. Comfortable in her mother's arms. "I wish your father was here to see you my darling." She whispered.

There you have it! baby Lily has come into the world. Yay!

Little Lily was walking to her mom as best she could. "Moomy!!" She called her mother. Lily was now four years old.

Ever since Carol told Lils to say mommy, lily couldn't say the word. Lily had a hard time but still kind of got it. Once she said moomy, Lily-ann stuck with it.

"Right here Lily-ann, come to mommy." Carol said to her little toddler, while sitting on the couch.

Wendy leaned on the open door of the kitchen smiling, holding a mug of coco. "Yay, Lils! You can do it." She cheered.

Lily was almost to her mom when she fell on her little butt. Lily-ann laughed. "Me went boom!" Then a little giggled came out of her.

Carol laughed too. Getting off the couch she walked up to Lils, then picked her up . "Oh my, you've gotten heavy."

Lily just sucked her thumb, laying her head on her Carol's shoulder. "I wubb you moomy!"

A kissed was placed upon Lily's head by Carol. "I love you too, my little one." She said, sitting on the couch and changing the channel, for Lily.

Lily looked up at her mother then at the t.v smiling. " Hehehe! Big old man doing poofy things!" She called out while clapping her hands.

Carol smiled down her child. She was so happy to have this adorable little girl. This one child that she could have all to herself, and had the duty to keep safe and happy. The things she loved most was they say she would go to Hogwarts. Carol couldn't wait for that day.

"Moomy, look at da old man doing poofy like you do!" Lily-ann said to Carol, pointing at the t.v whileing staring up at her.

Carol looked at the television then at her child. "I see Lily-ann." She then carried her. "Lets go, it's time for nappy."

Being picked up, lily smiled then called out, "Off!" The television turned of automatically. "We go nappy now. " Lily said to her mother.

Carol smiled with a nod and walked down tot he hall. "Goodnight Wendy." Wendy said goodnight to both of them.

"Goodnight chocolate!" Says Lily, yelling down the hall to Wendy.

Wendy laughed and walked back into the kitchen to clean up the mess.

In the large room, that Lily-ann owned, she was placed in her bed and tucked tight. "Moomy, How come I never seen my daddee?" Lils asked.

Carol knew one day Lily-ann would wounder were her father would be. With out him around, Lily would suspect off something. "Well, lets just say he's far far far away from where we are, but he's always thinking about us. He won't becoming back very soon." She felt so hurt to say this to her little girl. She was still young to know what really happened. Carol didn't felt to bad, because she didn't exactly lie to her child.

"Will he ever come back?" Lily asked staring deep into her mothers eyes.

"I... I don't think he will, darling- It's time for bed Lily. I'll take you shopping, ok. Get a good nights rest." Lily nodded and closed her eyes.

Carol got off the small bed and walked slowly out of the room. The door was closed, Carol slid slowly on the door crying.

"My poor darling Lily knows nothing of her farther! She can't ever seen him!" She quietly said as the tears continued to come rolling down. "Why did he have to leave her and me! Look whats become of this! I wish you were here Landon.. I... I wish you could have never gone to that trip and search for that horrible dark lord!"

Carol sat there for a few hours that night crying. Feeling horrible to see that Lily-ann would never ever see her father. Never know how it felt to have Landon around.

Little Lily woke up at 12:00 with a great wake up yawn. She got out of bed and ran out her door.

"Moomy! Moomy! We go shopping now!" She yelled in the living room.

She stared up at Carol, who was already in clothes. "Sorry darling, I have to go to work. Wendy is going to take you, though. OK?"

Lily-ann didn't argue. She was well ok with her mother going to work. As long as she was promised a shopping then Lily was perfectly fine. "OK moomy. I see you later?"

Carol nodded with a smile. She kissed Lily's head, "Yes you will." Then picked up her things, heading towards the door. The door had closed shut.

Lily looked around the room, trying to find chocolate. "Chocolate, were you?" She asked walked down the hall of the many rooms. "Chocolate?" She called with a questionable tone.

Wendy was in here room and she finally heard that tiny voice of Lily. "In here, Lily-ann. Come to my room." The tiny feet of lily's ran down the hall into her room.

Wendy found the little girl standing in the middle of the doorway with messy light brown hair, wand Pj's, and a big smile on her face. Wendy chuckled. "Lilt missy, I'm all ready and you aren't. Go take a shower."

Lily was going to as she was commanded but she walked further into the room about to speak, "Chocolate... why you not at work?"

Wendy walked up to her finishing putting on her other earing. She looked down at Lily, who looked up at her. "I'm off today." She simply said.

"Oohh!" Lily said, then she ran off to take a shower, skipping. "Time to wash! wash wash wash. Me go time to clean!" She sang.

By the time she was done she rushed into a pair of clothes. A ' Mommy's Good Girl' t-shirt, jeans, socks, and pair of comfy shoes. Lily playfully stomped out of her room into the living room, where Wendy was. "All wedy, Chocolate!"

Wendy chuckled with a smile. "Good to hear Lily-ann. Off we go shopping!" Wendy took Lily's Hand and they walked out of the house.

When the girls made it to Diagon Ally, Lily was so excited that Wendy felt that she was going to run off. "Stay very close with me Lily. Where would like to go first?"

Lily thought for a second. Nothing came to mind. "I don't know. You take me somewhere!" She said, and so Wendy did.

They went into a toy store. There weren't many people in the store, so Wendy thought it was safe to let her go. "Take what ever you like... just as long as it under a high price." She reminded Lily, letting go of her hand. Wendy wasn't so full of money.

With a small nod, Lily-ann ran off. Now, Lily was a very smart girl. She knew not to argue, and she knew other things that was smart. Surprisingly, for such a young girl, Lily-ann felt she should just get at least two or three toys.

Wendy didn't have a lot of money and Lily wanted to get more things, so she didn't want Wendy to spent to much on her money.

Little Lily-ann came back with a fairy doll and a witch/ wizard hat,on her head. "I'm done." She told chocolate. Wendy automatically took her hand and brought her to the register.

Lily gave Wendy the toys. Placing the toys on the desk, they were payed. Wendy gave the bag to Lily and the two girls were off to another store. "Moomy said I might need new shoes. Can we go to a shoe store?" Lily asked Wendy. A nod was given and they walked down the ally to find a shoe store.

Looking at the stores that were needed to be went into by Lily and Carol for her Lily's first year, Wendy knew Carol would have been smiling all day today seeing the stores of what Lily-ann will be going into in seven more years.

Lily spotted a shoe store and then she pulled on Wendy, running to the store. Wendy held onto Lily's hand and they both browsed for shoes. "What kinds do you need?" Wendy asked, looking down at Lily.

"I think moomy want me to get sneakers and some summer shoes. One pair of sneakers we can get and two pairs of summer ones." Lily let go of Wendy's hand and looked at the shelves of shoes, right in front of them.

Lily looked around for a about five minutes and she finally found what she wanted. She had once pink converse shoes, one flip flop, and one flat shoes. "Me is done." She said with a smile.

Wendy payed and the left store, going to another one. As they got out of the store, Lily's stomach grumbled.

Wendy walked her down the ally to go somewhere to eat. "I want chicken, corn, a mash potatoes." Lily said, rubbing her tummy.

Wendy went up to the man and ordered for what exactly Lily asked for. "Vince, get me a plate of corn, chicken, and mashed potatoes." The man called out to his cook.

Lily had got her food sixes minutes later. The girls sat and Lily gobbled down on her food. Wendy could see how hungry she was.

And hour later, Little four year old Lily-ann was done eating. They threw out the plate and out the door they went.

Three hours later, Wendy finally brought Lily-ann home. It was 6:29, they came back. Bit later, but to later for carol to get worried.

Walking into the house, Carol was sleeping on the couch with the t.v. on. Wendy quietly told Lily to take her bags and put them in her room.

When coming back into the living room, Lily found Wendy in the kitchen making something for her and Carol. Four year old lily-ann walked up to the couch and climb on, kissing her mom's cheek.

Carol woke up and saw Lily right in front her. "Hey, how was your shopping?' She asked in a half awake voice. A smile rose upon Lils face. "Fun, moomy. me and chocolate when shoe shopping, toy shopping, candy shopping, and many more. I wish you were wit us."

Carol stroked her daughters hair, while lily lied on her mothers chest, staring at the television. "Sorry, hun. Had work, but I really wished I came to. Next time we go, it will be me you will be shopping with, Ok."

Lily-ann nodded, not really playing much attention to her mother. She was busy watching a shoe.

Carol smiled and kissed the top of Lily's head.
