Chapter One

It was a great summer and Kingsley was in St. Barths with his family enjoying the warming sun on his arms with their criss -rossing blue veins poking through the translucent skin. He and Mimi were on the beach playing in the surf. They were on the winter vacation from Duchanese and it was great to get away from the snow and cold of New York down to a beach. Kingsley usually didn't hang with obvious snobs like Mimi, they were much more work than he wanted to handle, but her family was the most powerful within the clan and he had to make nice with them.

He looked up as the strangest thing he had ever seen in his life on a beach flew down to his table and settled in as if the thing owned the table. An owl. There was a huge envelope tied to its leg.

"Kingsley, what is that?" Mimi Force asked when he didn't return the frisbee they had been throwing back and forth. She adjusted the straps on her bikini as she wandered over to him. They both walked over to the owl and Kingsley removed the envelope and tore it open. It was a letter inviting him to go to school back in England. He was 15 and he knew Hogwarts only went to your seventh year so why did they want him now?

"What is Hogwarts?" Mimi asked. She read over the letter. "Witches really exist?" Like that was so shocking. They were vampires. So was it really a stretch that witches were real.

"It's a magical school for wizards back in England and I've just been accepted, but it makes no sense." He stared out over the water and Mimi was annoyed. She hated attention being taken away from her. She stomped over to her boyfriend who was slumped in a beach chair. The tell-tale bite marks were on his neck, meaning he was one of Mimi's human familiars. Kingsley was laid out on a beach towel dozing. She was bored with this already and had no idea where Jack was.

Kingsley stepped through the archway to Diagon Ally. He was totally fascinated by what he say. Sure he was a blue blood and he was a walking myth, but this was unreal for him.

He stood quickly down the street, his eyes roaming this way and that way. He could smell the magic in their blood and he was dying to take a tasty little witch as a familiar. he felt someone jostle him from behind and he turned around quicker than the human eye could see and he caught the girl before she toppled to the ground. "Better be careful there," He told her smoothly as he he gazed at her flaming red hair.

Ginny's face flushed as the stranger helped her stand up. "Oh I'm really sorry about that." she said stooping down to pick up her fallen tattered books. Kingsley's was quicker than her, he turned over the worn and battered book in his hands.

"What did you do to this, Surely your fall didn't beat this book up like that." he chuckled. Ginny's cheek flushed as he made fun of her newly acquired used books. "I'm sorry if I embarrassed you," He said staring into her eyes. Ginny lost her train of thought. "I'm Kingsley Martin by the way."

"Ginny Weasley," She said as she shook his hand. Kingsley could feel her heart racing in her hand shake. This girl smelled great, she would make a excellent first meal.

Great story that is fabulously written. Blue Bloods? Is that like a vampire or something?

BIC: Kingsley watched the emotions pass over Ginny's face as she placed all her books back into her basket. He could see her pulse beating under the delicate sink in the hollow of her neck. He was dying to sink his fangs into her and taste that floral smell that was driving him crazy.

"Are you going to Hogwarts too?" She asked him when she done replacing everything that she had spilled.

He unleashed his wicked smile on her and she staggered back at the force of his suggestion he pushed into her head. "Follow me," He whispered. Her eyes widen at the suggestion but she took his extended hand and followed him deeper into the alley heading toward Knockturn Alley. When he was sure they were secluded and wouldn't be bothered he pulled her into a darkened corner. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to his chest. She didn't struggled as his suggestions kept her from screaming. He nuzzled his face into her neck. Her blood called to him and slowly he extended his fangs and sank them into her.

His face instantly flushed with the rush of her blood in his mouth. She didn't make a sound as he slowly sucked the life force from her. He stopped before he totally turned her into a zombie. He needed her to be able to walk back to wherever it was she had come from and now arouse anything. He let go of her and leaned against he wall panting. His lips still glistened with her blood. Ginny slumped against the wall, drained of energy.

He wiped his mouth and looked at her. "You taste just as good as you look," he told her as he pulled her hair out of the tight bun she had been wearing. he fluffed her hair out around her face and her neck covering his bite marks. He took her hand and lead her back around to Diagon Alley. He smiled as she stumbled away to finish her shopping. He leaned against the wall to look for his next familiar. He could do his shopping later.

Chapter 4

Kingsley could feel Ginny as she moved about in the little street. He was actually reeling about getting the letter to Hogwarts in the fist place. A Blue Blood had never gone to Hogwarts, even though the magical world had vampires, but they were the disgusting sort who could live in the sun and who preyed on humans and drank them till full consumption. A Blue Blood would never lower themselves to do something like that. Though Kingsley did sometimes get carried away and his familiars had to have transfusions. Mimi would have a fit if she saw some of the jewels those witches were shuffling into that bank carrying, he thought to himself.

Enough standing around he needed to get his shopping done and he couldn't have his personal shopper to do it for him. She was a human. He pushed off from the wall he had been leaning against nonchalantly and strode down the street. Some of the women stopped to stare as he did so. He smirked and continued on his way. Human woman were so easy to sway. It didn't take much. Most of the time he didn't even have to suggest things in their minds to get them to do anything he wanted them to. They weren't like the women in the old world....

For the second time that day he blinked and the world before him changed. He was standing on a high balcony and before him lay a vast desert with bronzed skinned people scurrying about their day. He looked out and a wind river wound its way through the sand. He looked down at himself and his skin was the same golden brown as the sand. He looked around and saw that he was standing in a vast chamber whose ceiling seemed to reach up in the heavens. He was holding a golden staff that curved up into a serpent. "Egypt," He whispered. He was back in Egypt when he had cycled through as Ramses II. He could still remember his rage when he lost the slaves.

Before he could go any further in his memory he was back in the present time and hadn't even broken his stride down Diagon Alley.
