Hey everyone! For those of you who don't know me my name is Emma and this is my...well I lost count but this is just another one of my FF's. I hope you all enjoy...
I Wish I Was Her…
Ginny, Harry, Hermione, and Ron return to Hogwarts a year after graduating. They all return as part of the school's staff. Ginny takes over as the Astronomy teacher. Harry becomes the new DADA teacher after the last one ran out of the castle shouting, “Those kids will never learn”. Hermione becomes the new Transfiguration teacher, and Ron takes Hagrids place as the Care of Magical Creatures teacher. Everything seems to be going well until another new teacher arrives…that’s when jealousy and hate tears the two most favored teachers in the school apart.
Chapter 1:
“Hermione where are my lesson plans?” a worried Ron asked as he searched his bedroom.
“Ronald how should I know? I don’t…oh wait I do never mind…” Hermione sighed.
“You what?” Ron asked standing up straight.
“I was going to say I don’t know, I don’t live with you but I do so I can’t use that excuse anymore now can I?” Hermione smiled.
“Ha ha! That’s what you get,” Ron said continuing to search through the bedroom.
“Well hurry up. McGonagall said we have to be at Hogwarts by four…”
“We have time. What time is it?”
“Three thirty.”
“Bloody heck! How did that happen?…you know I will make new plans later lets go.”
Ron grabbed his brief case and followed Hermione out the door.
The two arrived at Hogwarts a few minutes later to find Harry standing outside.
“Beautiful isn’t it?” Harry said as Ron and Hermione approached him.
“Very…where’s Ginny?” Hermione asked handing Harry her bag.
“She’s inside and why do I need these?” Harry said looking at her bags.
“You are going to be my nice brotherly friend and carry them for me.” Hermione smiled.
“That’s why you have your fiancé don’t you?”
“He’s carrying my school things don’t worry,” Hermione said stepping inside the school.
“Transfiguration teachers,” Ron mumbled as he followed her.
Harry laughed, “Is she giving you a hard time, mate?”
“Oh no!” Ron said sarcastically. Then in a more serious tone said, “ How are things with you and my sister?”
Harry sighed, “I think we are just going to take it slow…really…slow.”
“Better than nothing I guess…” Ron shrugged.
“I suppose…come on the kids will be arriving soon and I don’t want the first years gawking at me like idiots…”
“Harry if you are going to teach you need to respect the students!” Hermione snapped as she reappeared.
“If you are going to judge me then carry your own bags!” Harry snapped back.
“Never mind…”Hermione smiled.
“Did you find Ginny?” Ron asked.
“Yes but she is decorating her class room so I left her to finish…”
“Nice…” Ron said as he passed Hermione and dropped the stuff inside the Entrance Hall.
Hermione turned to Harry, “So how are things?”
“We are going as slow as you can possibly think…” Harry sighed.
“Oh Harry maybe she’s just nervous…to become fully committed you know?”
“I don’t know…” Harry said, “But I’m willing to do whatever it takes.”
“Good,” Ron said jumping up. “Now lets go…the munchkins are coming and I can smell food.”

This is really good! i like it a lot. Poor Harry. You're doing really good, Emma! Keep it up. Can you PM whenever you update you're story? I read too many stories and I can't keep track sometimes. It's nothing against you. I just want to make sure I keep reading your story becuase it is really good.

Here is chapter 2 everyone! And thank you all for the support!
Chapter 2:
“You are always hungry Ronald!” Hermione sighed as she entered the castle again.
“It’s not my fault my mum fed me good while I lived with her!” Ron snapped.
“Hey you guys I’m going to go find Ginny so she can be on time for the feast” Harry said wanting to get away from the traditional arguing.
“Okay Harry” Hermione smiled as she walked into the Great Hall.
As Ron and Hermione disappeared the great oak doors opened and in came the first years.
Harry was about to walk up the stairs when he heard a first year gasp and yell, “Look it’s Harry Potter!”
“Not now” Harry moaned as he turned around and smiled. “Yes and I am your new DADA teacher so get into the Great Hall unless you want detention”.
At his words the first years scrambled for the Great Hall.
“Nice one loser now they are scared of you”.
Harry turned around and saw Ginny coming down the stairs.
“Good then they won’t bug me”.
Ginny smiled. She was carrying a box full of junk she planned to throw out but while she was looking at Harry, Ginny missed a step on the stairs and fell. Harry thankfully caught her.
It had been months since Harry had held Ginny that close.
“Um I think we should go to the feast” Ginny smiled as she pushed Harry away and got back on her own two feet.
“Yeah” Harry said picking up her box and handing it to her.
“Thanks”.
Then the two walked into the Great Hall quietly.
“Where were you two?” Hermione whispered. “McGonagall was waiting for you two so she could introduce the new teachers and give her speech.”
Harry was about to answer when McGonagall spoke up.
“Now that the rest of our staff is here we can get started. I would like to introduce our new Astronomy teacher…Professor Weasley”.
At this Ginny stood up and waved. She received applause and some whistling from the seventh year boys.
Harry crossed his arms and frowned.
“Our new DADA teacher is of course Professor Potter”.
Harry stood up and smiled causing many girls to giggled. This time it was Ginny’s turn to frown.
Harry sat back down and said, “I’ve still got it”.
At this Harry noticed a beautiful girl on his right side. She giggled and said, “You probably never lost it”.
Harry smiled, “Thanks. Who…”
“Our new Transfiguration teacher is Professor Granger” McGonagall continued. And Hermione stood up also receiving whistles from the seventh years boys.
One even shouted, “Beauty and brains!”
Hermione blushed and sat back down.
“And our Care Of Magical Creatures teacher is Professor Weasley”.
Ron stood up and threw the boys a dirty look. A seventh year girl who was sitting next to one of the boys however yelled, “It’s okay I can always replace her for you!” This caused Ron to smirk.
“And finally we have our new Charms teacher…Professor Haze”.
The woman next to Harry stood up and smiled.
Once she sat back down she said, “And to answer your unfinished question my name is Emily Haze.”
And with that she turned to Hermione who was sitting next to her and started talking about Transfiguration.
Harry however continued to stare at her…much to Ginny’s disapproval.

Here is the awaited chapter everyone!
Chapter 3:
The next day Ginny decided to ignore Harry.
“If he wants to flirt with Emily then so be it. I am not going to be acting sad because he has found another idiot to play with” Ginny snapped when Hermione asked her what was wrong.
“Good morning to you too” Hermione said as she finished her breakfast.
Just then Harry showed up.
“Good morning ladies” Harry smiled. “How are you this morning?”
“Ready to teach…I just hope the kids are ready to learn…” Hermione smiled.
Ginny sighed, “Same here” and got up just as Emily arrived.
“Hello Ginny” Emily smiled.
“Hi” Ginny said as she walked off.
“Um…Is she okay?” Emily asked concerned.
“Yeah she just sort of got up on the wrong side of the bed” Hermione said as she got up as well. “I have to go get my lesson plan ready”.
Emily sat next to Harry and said, “I don’t think they like me very much”. | |
