This is another story (AKA my third at one time). This one has a very special main character. In fact I do believe I have never seen a FanFiction with him and a main character... Anyhoo, I'd like to give what I call the "Lemony Snicket" warning. This story is not very happy but the ending is. This is a story about muggleborns in Azkaban during the Second war... The title means "stars" in latin.

Chapter One- Interrogatio "Interrogation"

The deatheater knocked her aside, his mother screamed. He yelled at her to go, to let him face the punishment. It's not his mother's fault he was a wizard. The young man waited for his name and assigned number. A13F45L98. He gulped, afraid of what was waiting behind the doors. As a Hufflepuff he wasn't particularly brave. In fact he fancied himself a bit of a coward. The others around him, however, looked even more scared than he felt. The youngest of the group looked no older than 13 and the oldest seemed to have eons of wrinkles. The doors opened and the boy gasped. He knew that disgusting smile, the horrible pink cardigan and giant matching bow. Knowing that with her around things weren't going to get any better he quickly went over every happy thought, his mum, his best friends and especially her.

"Hem, hem. Yes well if-- let's see..." she scrolled down her list. "Ah, yes A14F45L98. Mr. Justin Flinch-Fletchley." Justin pushed himself out of his seat , shaking slightly and followed none other than Dolores Jane Umbridge. The court room was small and ice cold. A big, fluffy, silver cat patronus was guarding Umbridge and some large, burly deatheater from the dementors on either side of the chair he was to sit on. The world felt dismal, he felt no hope, he was going to die. All the happiness was gone. Umbridge scrutinized the boy sitting in the seat. The fear in his hazel eyes made her hate him more. Stupid boy, you wished this on yourself, stealing someone's magic like that! But of course she put on a sickeningly sweet smile because Dolores Jane Umbridge rarely shows her true colors.

"So, young man, on the matter of your wand. Oak, Unicorn hair, 11 1/8 inches, is that correct?" she asked "kindly." Justin only nodded.

"And who did you take it from?"

"I-- what?" he asked.

"Take your wand from, who did you steal it from?" she demanded more firmly.

"I didn't! I-i bought it, at Ollivander's," he stuttered, what was she going on about?

"LIES!" she hissed. "Filthy mudblood! The Department of Mysteries has new evidence that muggleborns such as yourself stole their magic!"

"Anyway," she said, continuing as if nothing had happened, "it says here your parents are accountants." The distaste was obvious in her voice.

"So, Mr. Flinch- Fletchley, do you deny being a muggleborn?" she asked softly.

"No." he said plainly.

"All right then, guards take him away!"

Man, this sounds like the book Night. It was about the concentrations camps during World War 2....

it's the second war after the down fall of the ministry. MUSTANG_SALLY was just comparing it to that... though it is a lot like it in many ways.

Chapter Two- Captio "Imprisonment"

Justin could not stop staring at the combination of letters and numbers now burned into his skin. Two days in Azkaban had made him numb. The dementors floated just outside his cell. He wished they would just swoop down and snap it would all be over.

"Fine take me, kill me, do whatever the heck you want with me but I won't join you if it's the last thing I do!" a voice shouted. There was a sickening sound as knuckle made contact with flesh.

"Shut up, old man!" the warden screamed. Justin's cell door open and an old, dirty man was shoved in. The man let out a stream of cruses before he noticed his cell mate.

"Oh, those bloody idiots, got kids in here to rot too."

"Excuse me sir," Justin said, " are you a muggleborn?"

"Nope, I'm Julius Ollivander, pureblood, younger brother of the great Charles Ollvander." he said in a bored tone. "What do they you in for son? Wearing your socks inside out?"

"No, I'm a muggleborn." Justin said bluntly.

"Well, that's good for you but if you don't mind I'd like to try to remember what treacle tart tastes like before the dementors have stripped that away." Julius said and focused on the very small window in the cell. Justin let his mind wander, he thought about his friends. He could still remember his friends, because what he remembered about them was unhappy, he knew they were all in danger. Ernie, his best friend, slightly high strung, always chuckling. But his face was unsmiling, it had been since no one could deny the return of he-who-must-not-be-named. Zacharias, crude, a bit mean but a loyal friend nonetheless. Hannah, always sweet, her hair in braids more often then not. And her. Susan. He could say a thousand things about her and still have more to say. Whenever he thought of his deffinition of perfect, Susan would come to mind. Her long black hair that fell down her back, a laugh that wasn't twinkling bells but still made him feel warm, her golden eyes sparkled. He wished he could see them all again, if but for five mintues.

"No, I prefer pineapples myself." his cell mate muttered, having fallen asleep. Justin sighed, his brown eyes were glazed from fatigue, but he couldn't sleep. Not here, not now. He would sleep, but not well, he would really sleep when there was peace.

You're making this like the Holocaust all over again! (Oh yeah, new reader BTW.)
To answer the question you haven't officially asked yet, no thanks, I don't want to join you. (You sort of half-asked it in Afraid to Love.) I'm not good enough at stuff like this. But I will continue with the other two.

If you guys like what she has written so far you should look at her other fan fics. They aren't quite as intense but Afraid to Love Sa13+ is a romance fic (Neville/Luna) and The Hogwarts Four Sa13+ is an epic adventure about the founders of Hogwarts. (I am helping her with both, but I think she's the one who actually does the important events and stuff the majority of the time.) So yeah, if you like Susi's writing, check them out!

Chapter Three- Amicitia "Friendship"

"Now you, boy, I 'sept we'll be here for some time so let me ask who are you?" Julius asked the moment he woke up, nearly a day later.

"Justin Flinch-Fletchley..." Justin started.

"Yes, yes, I know that." the old man said.

"Er... may I ask... how?" Justin inquired, rather bewildered.

"I am a seer, yeah go ahead and laugh, I'm a nutcase... but seers can't help being seers can they?" Julius said. Justin noticed his big, silver eyes for the first time and realized that he had seen them on not one, as he had previously thought, but three people.

"Excuse me but do you in any way know Luna Lovegood? Or Sybil Trelawny...?" he asked.

"Ah yes, Luna's my granddaughter and Sybil's my... whatchama call it-- well she's my other older brother Nicholas' daughter..."

"Really?" Justin said, he had never known that, but then again you learn something new every day, like yesterday he had learned not to poke your head out the window of the cell or you will get sprayed by a considerable amount of water.

"Yup, except now I can barely see their faces in my mind... so Justin, you remember your friends? Ernie, Zacharias, Hannah and oh, what's her name... Bones something isn't it?"

"Susan." Justin whispered.

"Right! So you do remember them? How? I can hardly remeber my best friend, 'coure I have seen him for a decade or two... Horace, I think his name was, bit plump... large mustache... nice bloke for a Slytherin.."

"Slughorn?" Justin asked, yet another surprise.

"Yes, yes that's what his name was! We had a lot of good times together me and old Sluggy.. not that I can remember any..." he said bitterly, cursing the dementors under his breath.

"Slughorn's the potions teacher." Justin told him.

"Is he now? Got his old job back, did he? Dumbledore musta put up one helluva fight, Horace was too stubborn for any one's liking, 'less he had some wine 'course..." Julius said, "Well son, I think we'll have a lot of fun in this dump."

Ha ha, I was really stumped on Julius' back story so this idea came to me on the bus this morning... I think I may have bumped my head on the window one to many times...

Chapter Four- Parietis "Wall"

Justin stared out the window. All he could see was a brick wall. He longed to see the stars. He had always loved the stars, his best subject was astronamy and he found them comforting, like a friend that's always there, even if you can't see them. And he hated walls, not only were they keeping him in, but they were keeping others out. Julius continued his restful soliliquy.

"Mr. Julius?" Justin said. Th old man stirred.

"Wha? What is it Justin?" he asked.

"Do you like the stars."

"The stars? Well I guess--"

CRASH!

"Ouch! For Merlin's sake man take it easy, I have the worst head ache! What day is it sir?" a voice asked.

"Shut it Dawlish!" the warden roared.

"Well can you put a man in Azakerban for having one to many fire whiskeys?"

"Yes, I can. Now your going to cell.... 17439904B have fun with the blood traitor and the mudblood!" the warden said shoving the drunk man into the cell Justin and Julius shared.

"Hello everybody! I'm Jasper (A/N Does it ever say Dawlish's first name? Well I wanted to stick with J's) Dawlish! Who are you?!" Dawlish slurred.

"I'm Justin and he's Julius."

"Oh, hahahaha silly are names all start with J! Isn't that somethin'?"

"Alright Dawlish, be quite and go to bed now." Julius snapped and with that he rolled over and fell asleep.

"Alright!" Dawlish said and settled down, but didn't quite shut up. "What shall we do with a drunkin' auror? What shall we do wit a drunkin' auror? What shall we do wit a drunkin' auror earl-lay in the mornin'? Hit 'im on the 'ead wif a rusty caldron Hit 'im on the 'ead wif a rusty caldron! That's what we do wit a drunkin' auror earl'lay in the mornin'!" he sung softly and out of tune. Justin sighed and went back to staring at his wall.
