I just can't stay away from this place! xD You know it, I'm here with another story, guys. And, this is my third FF. I'm also writing The Adventures of the Marauders and Confusion... So, you should check 'em out.

It wasn’t an unusual thing for Alicia Morrow to get angry, as it was a very common occurrence, so no one was really paying attention to her now, apart from her friends. Alicia could be a very nice girl, but it was easy to see why people who didn’t know her well, could think of her as a scary Slytherin. Her soft blue eyes were piercing and deadly, and she was biting down on her lip. Her wrists were clenched as she tried not to listen to one of her best friends, Mathias Malfoy. Not that he had made her angry, but he just made her more annoyed.

“I’m just saying, I don’t see why Miles has so much effect on you, Lissy.” Mathias said to Alicia with a shrug, a cocky smirk on his face. "Unless you actually have a crush on him, or something..." She shot him a deathly look, but said nothing. Miles Acosto, the most annoying Ravenclaw she had ever met, always annoyed her, always. Ever since they stopped being friends at eleven. Yet... He never ceased to stop making Alicia angry.

“Anyway, Mathias, Lissy,” their other best friend Kayla Chosen started to say, a nonchalant air to her voice. “There’s a party tonight, in the room of requirement.” She always seemed so good at changing the subject without effort, and calming Alicia down, somewhat.

Mathias grinned, and Alicia groaned. Kayla always insisted that Alicia came with them to parties, and she was just as stubborn as Alicia was. But unlike Kayla and Mathias, Alicia wasn’t crazy about either boys or girls like her two friends. She would’ve happily stayed with another of her friends, but she never seemed to be able to win against Mathias and Kayla. Alicia was far from boy-crazy, though Kayla said she flirted with Mathias among other boys, she wouldn’t listen.

“Please Lissy! Please come! You should have some fun, anyway.” Kayla said to Alicia with a smirk.

“Hey! I do, I do have fun.” She complained crossing her arms.

“When was the last time you had a boyfriend?” Kayla asked clearly skeptical.

“When was the last time you had a boyfriend?” Alicia retorted stubbornly, and avoiding Kayla’s question.

“That’s besides the point,” Kayla said shaking her head. “And I’m not listening to anything else you say on the matter.” She said standing up and shaking her head. “I’ll see you in class.” She said with a wave of her hand, before going back to her own table to talk to her fellow Gryffindors.

Alicia muttered something incomprehensible, and carried on eating her breakfast.

“Come on Lissy, Kay is right. Have some fun,” Mathias said with a smirk. “I mean, surely there has to be some guy out there who thinks your pretty.” Mathias said, picking up a piece of toast, only to have Alicia hit him over the head.

Meanwhile, at the Ravenclaw table, Miles was sitting there, with an arrogant grin as he talked to his friends. “I don’t see why you get so much satisfaction from annoying a girl that you don’t even like.” One of his best friends, Sierra, who was a Gryffindor, shook her head. It seemed pointless to her.

“I know why,” Miles’ sister Camilla said, a teasing look on her face as she said this.

“Ooh, why? Why?” Sierra said, looking at Camilla with an excited grin.

Miles rolled his eyes, and looked at Camilla and Sierra with a casual smirk. “I really don’t think that’s such a good idea, Cam.” He said simply, though he knew what Cam was thinking. And it was completely wrong.

“Why?” Sierra asked pouting at Miles, like a little kid who had just had her favourite toy taken away from her.

“Because by the time the day has ended, the whole school will know.” Seth said teasingly, although it quite possibly could be true.

“Hey! That’s not fair!” Sierra whined, probably the most childish in the group. But it was true, they were so unfair!

The next chapter which I want to read like... right now. Before I fall asleep on my keyboard.

Camilla, Sierra, Miles and Seth were walking towards their first class, History of Magic. And as Miles and Seth were talking about Quidditch, Sierra saw this as a good moment to talk to Cam about what she was going to say in the Great Hall earlier. Not only was Sierra quite interfering, but determined, as well. “Camilla?” She asked as they passed the Charms classroom.

“Yeah?” Camilla asked looking at Sierra curiously.

“What were you saying in the Great Hall, earlier?” She asked her friend, playing with her blonde hair absently.

“Oh, that.” Camilla smirked slightly. “I was just saying...” She trailed off, looking at something else. Kayla and Alicia were walking down the hallway, appearing not to have noticed the three Ravenclaws and other Gryffindor.

“Does he have to be there, Kay?” Alicia asked her friend with a groan.

“Does who have to be where?” Miles was now leaning casually against the History of Magic classroom door with a smirk, as he looked at Kayla and Alicia.

“Are you going move out of the way, Acosto?” Alicia asked with false sweetness in her voice, as Miles was blocking her entry into the classroom.

“I’d rather not, actually, Morrow.” Miles replied with a smirk. “Are you going to answer my question?” He replied, running his hand through his hair.

“No.”

“I guess you’re a little stuck, then, aren’t you, Lissy?” Miles replied. Kayla sighed, and walked past Alicia, to stop her from doing anything, and walked over to Miles.

“Don’t you want to help me, Miles?” She smirked at him flirtatiously; a thing she was could at. She had never really had a problem with the guy, and didn’t see why Alicia had so much of an issue with him. It just seemed that Miles and Alicia loved annoying each other, or something.

Miles looked at Kayla with a cocky grin, seeming slightly reluctant to move, as annoying Alicia was just so fun. Kayla sighed. “And you know, I so wanted you to come to the party tonight...”

Miles stepped aside. “Oh? What time, where, eh?” He asked looking at Kay curiously. Alicia rolled her eyes, and walked past the two into the classroom. Mathias, of course, wasn’t there. When he wasn’t skipping class, he was always the last one to come into the classroom. She took a seat somewhere in the front.

After a while Kayla joined Alicia with a grin, as did Mathias and Jake, just as the bell rang to start the class. All in all, the class was pretty boring. Out of Kayla, Alicia, Mathias and Jake, Kay was the only one to be taking notes. Though she wasn’t really doing it out of interest.

Bahahahaha Miles you evil little bully, you... I like watching guys annoying girls, it's funnn.
& I can't wait for the chapter that'll feature the party... Mwahaha I bet some crazy plot twists will take place... Huh, huh, huh?!

Don't we aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall love boys annoying girls? I do, anyway.

“Come on, Lissy!” Kayla moaned. “You can’t seriously be telling me that you’re not even a tiny bit excited about a party?” She looked at her friend as if this was some sort of crime. Which to her, it was. “I mean, I know your not like me and boys, but...” She trailed off, looking at Alicia.

Alicia sighed, and sat down on a couch, looking up at her friend. She was in the Room of Requirement, partly because Kayla and Alicia weren’t in the same house and couldn’t go into each other’s common rooms, and partly because Kayla was doing the planning for the party. And now Kayla seemed astounded at Alicia’s not so enthusiastic feelings towards the party, though she wasn't completely unenthusiastic about it.

“Well, I am excited... I guess. I just, never mind.” Alicia shook her head. She didn’t need to explain it, did she?

“It’s not to do with Miles, is it?” Kayla asked her friend thoughtfully. “You won’t have to deal with him, though, will you? So why should it matter? And he’s not that bad, really.”

“To you...” Alicia muttered to herself. But there really was something else that bothered her about Miles apart from him being so... Miles-ish. Though she didn’t exactly want to say that right now.

“Like I’ve said, have some fun, talk to some guys. You’re like, never with guys anymore.” Kayla said shaking her head with a smirk playing on her lips.

“That’s not true,” Alicia murmured, frowning.

“When was the last time you had a boyfriend?” Kayla asked raising her eyebrows. Alicia fell silent; Kayla did have a point there. Damn.

“We should be heading to dinner, y’know.” Kayla said to Alicia, glancing around the room absently. Alicia nodded, and got up.

“So, you’ve told everyone about the party, and stuff?” Alicia asked Kayla as they walked down towards the Great Hall. As much as she didn’t want to admit it, she was starting to feel a sense of excitement about the party. It was because of Kayla though... Right?

“Yes, everything is ready.” Kayla said nodding with a grin, she could tell that Alicia was going to have fun, she just... Knew it.

A grin came onto Alicia’s face as they walked into the Great Hall and towards the Slytherin table. “Hey Jake, Mathias.” She said with a smile to the two boys as she and Kayla sat across from them.

“What trouble have you two being getting yourselves into, today, then?” Kayla asked them curiously. Obviously not failing to notice their disappearance during Charms. Not that she minded it, because she didn’t, she was just curious what trouble they got into.

“I’m shocked.” Jake said with mock outrage. “You automatically suspect us of being up to something?” He asked Kayla.

“Well, unless you were with some girls, I don’t think there would be anything else that you’d do.” Kayla said rolling her eyes.

“We didn’t do nothing,” Mathias said, with an innocent look. “We changed all the labels of Potion in ingredients, causing the Potions teacher to set his hair on fire and then turn it pink.” He added, smirking at the two girls in front of him.

“Oh, so no biggy, right?” Alicia asked them with a chuckle.

“Nope, not at all.” Jake grinned, and started piling his plate with third helpings of food.

That night, Alicia sat on a couch in the Room of Requirement, again, this time with a glass of butterbeer, as she watched people come into the room. Most of which she knew, but some... She didn’t.

After a while, it seemed everyone was there, and Alicia got up, glancing around, knowing that Kayla really was right. It had been ages since she’d had a boyfriend. Kayla had long since disappeared into the crowd, as did Mathias and Jake as soon as they had arrived. Typical, really. While Alicia looked around, she saw a boy she didn’t recognize, and she came up to him with a smile.

“Hey,” she said playing with her hair absently as she looked at him.

“Oh, hey.” The boy said, turning to look at Alicia with a grin. “I’m Dominic,” he said with a charming smile. “What’s a beautiful girl like yourself doing alone, eh?” He asked.

Alicia smiled. “Well, all my friends are... Somewhere.” She said with a chuckle.

“Oh, really? So, do you-”

“Hey Alicia, Dominic.” Miles had appeared, out of... Somewhere, and put his arm over Alicia’s shoulder. She had to stop herself from cringing away.

“Oh, hey Miles.” Dominic said nodding to him. “Well, I should probably, find my friends, you know?” He asked with a wave, before disappearing into the crowd.

Alicia moved away from Miles’ arm quickly, giving him an annoyed look. “What was that for?” She asked looking at Miles’ amused face.

“Oops. Were you talking to him?” Miles asked grinning.

“Don’t you ever do anything apart from drive me insane?” Alicia asked shaking her head. Before he could answer, she turned away and walked to a nearby table. Kayla had said Miles wouldn’t bother her? Riiight.

“Hey, what’s up?” Mathias was leaning against the wall, with his hands in his pockets, looking at Alicia curiously.

“Miles,” she muttered. “Not surrounded by girls, Mathias? I’m surprised.” Alicia said with a slight smirk, still feeling bothered by Miles.

“Come on,” Mathias said with a smirk, standing up and grabbing Alicia’s hand, he pulled her towards him. “Don’t think about Miles.” He said simply.

Alicia was in fact, thankful for Mathias. Dancing with him, well, took her mind off being annoyed, and she did, actually, have fun. She didn’t even think anything of her and Mathias’ closeness, really; maybe it was just because they were friends, or something.

After she finished dancing with Mathias, Alicia danced with a few other boys, and she was chatting to Kayla with a smile, in a brief moment when Kayla wasn’t around a boy. Alicia had to admit; she was having fun, and wasn’t even thinking about Miles very much now – until he came up to her and Kayla, that is.

“Hey ladies,” Miles said with a cocky smirk. It surprised Alicia, though obviously not Kayla. He was usually charming and nice to Kayla, just not to Alicia.
