Badger Board of Notices

A worn and well-used yellow and black notice board takes up a large space on the main wall of the common room. Various pieces of parchment written by students or professors are posted haphazardly to the board, some with sticking charms and others with muggle thumb tacks, all of which are meant to inform you of announcements and advertisements. Be sure to stop and read them everyday before heading out of the common room.

Arithmancy

The first lesson of the term will begin on September 19th at 11am EST (3pm GMT).

Please note this lesson is for all students of any year. Please remember to bring your Textbook.

Arithmancy Lesson One Has begun. This lesson (like the previous post says) is for all years. Once the teaching has started, don't post your late arrival, but pretend you were there all along

History of Magic classes will be divided up from now on.

1-4th years will attend the BASIC classes

5th-7th years will attend the ADVANCED classes.


On a case by case basis, 1-4th years who show a particular aptitude for HoM, will be allowed to intend the ADVANCED classes instead of the BASIC classes, however 5th-7th years MUST attend the ADVANCED level classes if they are to take the subject at all.

Extra tuition can be arranged if necessary.


The first BASIC class will be held:

DADA Lesson 1 Homework
(For 1st - 3rd years ONLY)

You step inside a large room and immediately notice that it is filled with those devilish Cornish Pixies. Professor Lawson, has enlarged them so that they now stand at 4 feet.

The moment they see you, they begin to cause absolute havoc and chaos. Throwing books and lamps at you. They pull at your robes and hair. Using the spells that you learnt in class, take on the pixies and get them back into their cages.


So basically for this piece of homework, I would like you to RP your character taking on the Cornish Pixies using the spells you were taught in DADA class. You need only post the once. The more creative you are, the more points you will earn.

This homework is due exactly one week from today making it Tuesday 29th September. 2am GMT.

It is worth a total of 10 points.
