I love the Sorceror's Stone a lot. I like the whole idea of Harry getting used to hogwarts and the whole wizard thing. they left a lot out but that is going to happen in all the movies! I prefer the book over the movie. but overall it was pretty good! |

wicked awesome. my favorite part was the dueling club,especially snape. with those few lines, history was born lol. i was drooling over that "figure" for ages. and then the classic "scared potter?" "you wish" - my friends and i quoted that for a long time... ****, i still do lol 10/10 | |

pretty good, my absolute favorite line is in this whole series is here, snapes opening lines in harry's first potions class. I have that memorized and it still gives me shivers everytime i hear it. *sighs*. i just wish they had put in all the profs challenges in that were guarding the stone. I would have loved to have seen the potions challenge that hermione got past. 10/10, simply because it was this film that introduced me to HP in the first place, and of course AR and now im a proud HP fanatic and Rickmaniac lol | |

I love this movie...Dan, Emma and Rupert were excellent. Every thing was like the story . The Magic world were made very good. Chris made a wonderful job indeed. | |

I think the 1st movies is great!
I noticed a few mistakes though, my favourite, which I love to watch again and again, is : When Harry is running along the grass with the other two behind him saying about Hagrid and the egg and then he says "Why didn't I see it before?" (or something like that), well after when Hermione comes in front of the screen she is miming the words aswell! It's really funny because you can kind of here her whisper it just before it cuts to the next scene. | |

Why: I think the first movie had poor affects but had some humour in it. Emma watson was not the way I pictured hermione though,she didn't have big teeth but the hair was right.
Rupert was the best for Ron ;from the hair to the height!!
Daniel was not right for the part ;Harry is suppose to have really messy hair and dark green eyes.

I think Philosophers Stone was great. It didnt miss out much from the book becasue the book isnt very long, so you can fit most of it into a two hour movie. I like the director of this film and the second film best because he made the set really bright and colourful and nice to look at, whereas in the other films, Hogwarts grounds are really dull.
I give this film **** 9/10 | |

I loved the movie 10/10.. But have begun to re-read the book and the book says that Aunt Petunia had blonde hair as did Dudley.
After thinking about this, I am glad the movie had Petunia as a brunette.

I think that this movie is the best of the Harry Potter Movie Series. I say this because the actor who plays Dumbledore, really packs a punch, he really keeps Harry on track. Also, It is the only movie that we acually see Voldemort killing Harry's Parents.  | |
