Robert started acting slightly later in life, focusing in his earlier years on his other hobbies of sports and music. At the age of 15 he began to take an interest in theatre, and joined the Barnes Theatre Company. There he played parts, including a role in ‘Macbeth’. In 2004, he landed his first two on screen roles.
Robert was the first person that was seen for the part of Cedric Diggory, and was awarded the role only a week after auditioning. Due to the death of his character, Robert won’t be appearing in the series again, but we are sure to see him elsewhere in the future.
Recently, Robert has been cast as "Edward Cullen" from the Twilight series.
