Not much is known of Miriam’s childhood and upbringing, but we do know that she possesses an impressive and extensive body of acting work. Not only is she well known for her theatre and film works, but also the many television and voiceover roles. So much so that her voice work has been internationally acclaimed and is regarded as the most accomplished female voice in Britain. As a testament this, in 2002 Miriam received an O.B.E for her services to drama.
We know her best as her fantastic portrayal of Professor Sprout in the Chamber of Secrets.
