8/10.
I loved this book. I wish Sirius wouldn't have died though. =[
The D.A was so cool! I loved how Hermione turned into a "breaking the rules" girl and came up with this idea. This is superly gutsy of her to come up with this idea and form the group.
I hated Umbridge. She can go exploded. I can't believe she did such curel and torturing methods of punishments to everyone. I mean, who does that!?
I hated that Harry and Cho got things going... I wish Ginny and Harry would have kicked things in gear. I also felt bad for Harry when noone told him about the Order. That was what started him off on the feeling alone and angry all the time.
But anyways, great book. I loved it!

8.5/10
I am not a big fan of this book. In fact, it came out on my birthday and I wished it had been any other. In further readings of this book, I've come to like it more than I once did. But I don't think it'll ever be one of my favourites. Also, I hate Umbridge. Detest her.

I didn't enjoy this book so much to be honest. It dragged on, and the dealt with Cho and Harry. But that's fine. I'd give this book--7/10

Artfully Articulate

All in all, I think that the OOTP was a really interesting and detailed novel. But unfortunately, the film wasn't as good. It didn't have the actual fight at the end, in the department of mysteries. Eg - where Ron gets suffocated by brains and ginny gets her ankle broken. It would have been interesting to see the actual stuff happen in the film.

Whether you come back by page or by the big screen Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.

Jessiqua rates - 8/10

I loved this book buy MAJOR downies for killing Sirius
I cried so much. BUT it was still amazing because JK Rowling wrote it because it was just jam-packed with so much information and I was drawn into it from page one, right through to the last page. Too bad for the movie though, having to cut most of it out!

Rating: 9/10.

Apart from POA, one of my favourites in the series!

I loved it because (well, I for one) really felt for Harry throughout the book. All the pressure he was put under from the press, the magical world, his fellow students (and may I add, EXAMS) would have made any normal person go crazy!

I love how Harry keeps his head up high throughout the book (Dumbledore's Army) despite what is happening around him! I think it's a fantastic read!

And also, the film adaption contains (I think) the most emotional scene in the series! When Sirius dies, makes me cry EVERY TIME!

Review: This one is definitely my favorite Potter book. There's so much story packed in. Also, I always love the introduction of new characters: Luna, Umbridge, Bellatrix (although we had heard of her before), etc. Luna has become my favorite in the series, and it all started here. So, this book shows us the corruption in the ministry, which is allowed to flow into the school. Dumbledore's Army meets for the first time, building stronger relationships among the students of Hogwarts. The ending of this book is quite amazing: Dumbledore escaping, Umbridge getting "taken care of", and Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny, and Luna escaping to the Department of Ministries to save Sirius. The end here is quite depressing, and I think this is the first book that ever genuinely made me squall like a baby. This is such a lovely book...

I love this book.
Reason : Dumbledore's Army.
The rebellion begins!!
And this book also show how strong Harry is. He keeps on fighting Voldemort although he knows no one believe him.
