Review: I like it... it was a great story... but I don't really like Lockhart... he is my non favourite character number 3 after Umbridge and Bellatrix. |

I loved COS, of course, with its twists and turns and mysterious plotlines. I loved some of the quirkier characters (i.e. Lockheart), and the whole idea of a secret chamber under Hogwarts where Voldemort could regenerate himself is just genius.
:EDIT: I accidentally posted this before I was finished, so I'm editing it. Anyway--
Ginny. The introduction of Ron's sister, who is absolutely smitten with Harry (who has no idea how to handle this, being that he is just 12 years old and not exactly hormonal yet) is another wonderful plot twist.
I gave this rating because COS is still a filler book to get to the more central plot of Voldemort's rise and subsequent (eventual) downfall.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Artemius Page Sixth Year Ministry RPG Name:
Leonard Lomas Magical Law Enforcement | Signs of Maturity
This book is where the story starts showing some signs of maturity in the characters. Although it has a lot of the playfulness and friendship that was key in Philosopher's stone, it shows the mysteries present in the wizarding world, and the darkness. The chapters are longer, and Rowling uses more descriptive and mature text.

The second book, for me, is a better that the first. I don't know why but it's somehow more interesting. Lockheart is a nice character. It is interesting : Tom Marvolo Riddle changed into I am Lord Voldemort. The only thing i don't like in this book and the first is that they are short

Hogwarts RPG Name: Helena Bandee First Year | To be completely honest, this was my least favorite out of all of the novels. And yet it was still an excellent book. I don't exactly know why it's my least favorite, except to say that after reading all seven installments, if I had to pick one to be least exciting and engaging of my readership, it would be this one. It just doesn't quite grab my attention as much as the other six do. |

| While it isn't bad, it isn't great either. I liked the revealing of Voldemort as Tom Riddle and one-up of Lucius Malfoy at the end. However, Lockheart was just a horribly annoying character and didn't care for Ginny at all.
I give it 6 out of 10

6.5/10.
This is my least favorite book, as well as my least favorite movie! I just found it beyond boring. It defantly did not live up to my expectations from the first movie. Lockhart was crazy. I don't have much of a review for this besides it being a disappointment.

| This was my favourite book until GoF came out. I loved it, but in comparison to subsequent books, it's lost some appeal. I would say 7/10. |

I don't know what it was, but for some reason, I couldn't get over the basilisk. It creeped me out but I loved reading it. The rest of the story was great, though! i feel it was repeated at some parts.
rating: hmm...maybe 7.5/10

This film is very interesting and emotional in some ways. Ginny being kidnapped by Tom riddle and people getting petrified. But I think that Harry and Ron are really brave in this film. They try to help as much as they can, even though the teachers all think they are interfering. I give this a 9.10

I love this book especially because Garry was going through a difficult year at hogwarts what with everyone thinking that he was the heir of slytherin.

I need to re-read this one for the 12938235946th time and when I do I'll put a proper review.
BUT, I did love this one especially the shocker when Hermione gets petrified. And I loved Dobby so MUCH he was so amazing. Poor Dobby |

Aubrey "Abbie" Bailey Magical Games & Sports | Rating: 7/10. Review: COS is my least favourite book in the HP series. I don't know why though, as it has a brilliant story line, better then the first. But I just don't like the atmosphere to it... If that makes sense? Ha ha.

I did love this one, as I did all the books, but it has to be said that it's not my favourite. I'm not really sure why, but this one isn't... well, when I think about my favourite books of the series, this one never pops up - but I did enjoy it nonetheless! I absolutely loved Tom Riddle's mention in this, the part with the diary had to have been my favourite bit, going back in time to see Tom. And the film representation of him was exactly how I imagined him, so I really loved it. The parts I didn't like... I can't thik of any, off the top of my head. So it obviously wasn't that bad! Review: It makes me sad that this book usually gets a bad rating from most Potter fans. They usually will name this one as their least favorite. I, however, think it perfectly weaves together bits of the story and is a CRUCIAL book to the series. So many things are introduced in this book that you see over and over again. This would include... Harry being a parseltongue, Harry's similarities to Tom Riddle, the introduction to Voldemort's "human" self, as well as the introduction to the Sword of Gryffindor and the first horcrux. The story itself is beautiful. Close friends are questioned (Hagrid), Harry is for the first time thought of as a bad character by his peers, and students are actually directly endangered by events for the first time. This book is such a stepping stone for the rest of the series.
