Omg its so full of the most amazing stuff. I couldnt believe when in chapter two _____ finally let us know who ___ really has time for. From then on in i was so hooked. But what i dont understand is why she let us know in chapter two who the spy is. I would of loved to of found out later because then you have time to think about everything that is going on. Id like to know why JK decided to do that!
I loved it when _____became the captain! He really deserves it!!! Good on you. I hate that McLaggen bloke hes so full of his own ego!!!
Oh and i loved it when Harry told Dumbledore that he was told by ________ thats hes "Dumbledores man through and through" And Harry said that he was!!! That was such a touching moment!!!! Aww i love the relationship those two have!!!!
It was such a good thing that Dumbledore decided to give Harry those lessons. Those who have read it know what i mean!! Lucky he didnt plan it for the last year at Hogwarts! That wouldnt of helped Harry out much.
Also Ron and Hermiony were so funny this time around.....Well arnt they always!!! I think they are getting closer! But then doesnt everyone so dont hunt me out saying thats a spoiler because it isnt.
Later on in the book when Harry and Dumbldore are on there little search for the "Little" item. Dumbledore has so much faith in Harry it brings a tear to my eyes!!
Oh and when _______ gets killed by ______ i just couldnt believe it. I had a feeling it would happen but i didnt want to admit it.

Overall i think you can see that i love this book. Bring on the next and final book!!!!

I love this book, it's fun, romantic, funny. I think it's alot better then Oopt, I feel it's a really underrated book. This book is just so beautiful. I like it that Harry was back to the way he used to be before Ootp. The only complaint I have is that it seems the Ootp never happen. HBP doesn't have much Ootp in it at all.

When I "got into" Harry Potter, the first five books were already out, so HBP is the first Harry Potter book I've anticipated.

When I finished it I was like, "Was that it?" It left me wanting more and wanting it right now! Rowling said books 6&7 are basically one story with 6 being the first "half" of that story, so it's not surprising that it leaves questions unanswered.

Also, Rowling said she has not been this happy with a finished book since PoA. She didn't say it's her best, but that she's satisfied with it like she was satisfied with PoA (my favorite of the series so far.) I don't think she's losing any sleep over disgruntled fans.

The other thing is: she has had the entire story mapped out since the beginning. So I don't think any of the "out of the blue" romance is really out of the blue. She's had it planned for a while.

I saw Harry & Ginny coming from the minute we found out she had a crush on him; doesn't matter that HE didn't. It makes no sense to show that if it wasn't going to be requited later on. And Hermione and Ron have been coming since "Whatever house I'm in, I hope she's not in it" and "You have dirt on your nose, by the way, did you know?" Total setup for the bickering couple who secretly like each other.

I think more people will like HBP once we have book seven. I think HBP is a good book just because it has inspired such ambiguous feelings in the fans. Rowling said this book does what she wants it to. And maybe that's what she wanted it to do: confuse us, misdirect us...make us want the last book so bad we can taste it!

I honestly didnt enjoy the 6th book as much as I thought I would. Dont get me wrong, I love harry potter so much, but I thought HBP was not what it was expected to be. it was well written, but the story didnt really have the same feel as the other books. I felt like It left me hanging. Also I was upset that we didnt find out anything more about Lily and James or anybody else from the potter family like we were promissed we would. All I can say is... The 7th book better be a huge book, because JK Rowling said that we would know everything by the end of the series and we didnt learn alot from HBP, so it all should be in the 7th book. Oh yeah... SNAPE SUCKS!!!

The sixth book was kind of a disappointment. I mean, Yay, more HP, but after I started reading, it was kind of predictable. Unfortunately, with college and everything, I've only been able to read HPatHBP once. But thanksgiving break is coming up! Anywayz... I knew Dumbledore was going to die. I mean, after he showed up to collect Harry with a busted up hand, I knew he was losing his touch. I can picture the nub in my head. (It looks funny in here). Now that I think about it, Harry will probably die in the next book. How else will we find out what happens(happened) to his parents, Sirius and Dumbledore on the other side of the veil? And what are the chance that Harry finds the other Horcruxes? The only mystery left in this book was the guy that took the Horcrux. There must be another new character coming our way, because I didn't recognize the initials. Poor Harry. He broke with Ginny. Wasn't it cute how that 'Amorenzia' potion smelled like Ginny. And Hermione knew what/who hers smelled like , but wouldn't say? Ron So cute. But after all the fanfics I've read, I knew the guys and girls would work out like they did.

ya Poor Dumbledore though *sniff*

Lavender and Ron!! who would have thought.

Harry getting Quiditch cap. was cool though

why did SNAPE get the DADA job anyway!! that was crazy

what about those initials? new thought: i think they belong to Sirius' bro, Regulus Black. New mystery!!

oh ok, now's my turn

i read it in a rush at the first time
i accidently read the spoiler of DD being dead and Snape killed him and i just went read it at one go

i was kinda disappointed though
of course romance is essential for every sixteen-year olds but something wrong with it - apart from those Ron and Hermione thingy, that was hilarious hehe - i can't figure out what, but something just not right

and as for DD's dead, and Harry is left all alone, although his friends offered themselves to be with him along the way to defeat Voldermort, it's just not the same without DD.

and Snape, i refused to believe that Snape was evil, and after i reread the book again, i convinced of nothing else
i feel so betrayed about Snape - HOW COULD HE??

well overall i can give it a 3 and a half stars out of 5
GoF is still my favourite though.

Personally, I didn't like the book as much as the other ones. It seemed as if in GOF that was the end of Harry's happy times and then everything became really dark and there as a lot of killing and sadness. GOF was my fav cuz of the tournament and also things hadn't turned so dark yet. With DD dying too it was too sad and who knows if Hogwarts will even be open next year and that was the whole point of the book right? Hpgwarts a place where mysteries take place but everyone was happy, gone. Hogwarts a place for us to escape to and be a witch or wizard, gone.why did that have to be? DD didn't have to die I don't think it was nessesary(sp?)do you?

All that I can say is WOW ................
I couldn't put this book down.. I am a slow.................... reader and I had this book read in two days... I loved the part about how there were no real boring spots...

This book really opened my eyes to the other books... There are things in HBP that refer all the way back to the first book..I mean the cuboard that Malfoy uses in the HBP.. is the same one that Peeves knocks over in PoA..
I think the whole thing with Snape was planned.. and RAB is Sirius's brother.. this book is now my sec fav. book... I really love the Goblet of Fire... and now HBP....
Oh, I was completely floored when we all found out that Snape is the half blood prince.... I was mad @ Snape for killing Dumbledore for two weeks.. and then I sat down and really thought about it... Dumbledore never said not to kill him... all he said was "Severus Please"....... Dumbledore did it for Malfoy... to save him,...
I love this book.............................................. .......................

JKR..... thank you...

But, please.,......... hurry with the next one...............

This book is now my sec fav... so I give it a 8 / 10...

The mystery and the action and all the new surprises makes this a great book...

I cried , and got mad , and even laughed at some points... this is one of JKR books that make a difference and opens my eyes to all the new things that make the other book make sense.....

Action Packed, and Exciting,................ Worth the money and the time..

The HBP was excellent. It's my second fav book. The first one was GoF. I can say that the book pleased my expectations. Because we know now that everything has got a sense. And I can't wait for the summit, I mean the seventh book.

Finally a book that is not alot of silly action and games... altho that is always fun. I personally think that this phase of the book should have been introduced in to OtoP however there was forshadowing in previous books about Dumbeldores folly and his giant mistake. over all it was a good book, should have been about 1000 pages.. now there is not going to be room in year 7 for all that needs to take place unless JKR makes "What ever book seven is to be named" around 1400 or 1500 pages at a minimum i hope she does for the sake of all of us superfans so that we can be imensed in the last book for more than a few days haha

I'm a huge fan of HP, the books mainly but the movies are alright. I loved the HBP, I've just finished reading it for like the 4th time a week ago. It was a very emotional book - the part where Harry FINALLY gets together with Ginny, and when Snape kills Dumbledore... heartbreaking. I really hope JK kills him and Voldey off in the final book. All in all the book was fantastic!!! I can't wait for the next book in the series to be released, I'm probably gonna read it like 3 more times after that!!!!
