| Chapter 25 – The Seer Overheard
Harry is happy to be with Ginny and miraculously Ron does not have objections, very strong ones, anyway. One evening Hermione says that she suspects who the prince might be; a witch by the name Eileen Prince. Harry refuses this idea for he is sure the Prince is male, not solely because of of the name, but also because of the style in which it is written. Harry decides to get the book, but just ere he reaches the corridor, he hears a commotion. Professor Trelawney has been cursed out of the room, and she heard a whooping voice. Harry suggests they should go to Dumbledore. At first the professor refuses, but Harry manages to talk her into it. On the way she mutters about 'the lightening-struck tower' and she talks to Harry about when she was first appointed. Harry finally find out who told Voldemort about the prophecy: Snape. Harry rushes to Dumbledore in rage, leaving the Trelawney behind. When Harry knocks on the door, Dumbledore tells him to enter. In the office Harry gets the choice of raging about Snape or to follow Dumbledore, as long as he promises to follow his every order, in the quest to find one of the remaining Horcruxes. |

| Chapter 26 – The Cave
Dumbledore takes Harry to Hog's Head whence they Apperate to the cave in which Voldemort scared the two fellow orphans. They have to swim in and reaches the ante-chamber. Dumbledore knows it is there because Magic leaves traces. He understands that to gain entrance to the real chamber he needs to spill blood. Dumbledore gives his, because he says Harry's more valuable.
Inside the chamber they're standing at the edge of a lake and in the middle there is a misty green light. Harry tries to summon the Horcrux, but all that happens is that something shoots out of the water. After a bit, Dumbledore discovers the invisible boat. It's bewitched to only carry one with great magical power, but as Harry is underage, he doesn't count to Voldemort. While crossing to the island Harry discovers that the water is thick with Inferi. They reach the bank safe and they discover a basin with green potion. The only way to reach it is by a golden goblet. Dumbledore tells Harry that he shall drink the potion himself and warns Harry that it might be a poison, but suspect that if it is, the drinker won't die immediately. He makes Harry promise to feed him the rest of the potion if he is unable to finish it himself. Sure enough, it is a poison and Dumbledore screams and shouts, but Harry makes Dumbledore drink it. When all is drunk he asks Harry to give him water, but since Harry can't fill the goblet with water magically, he dips it into the lake. Now the Inferi come out of the water, but Dumbledore gets to his feet and creates fire. They manage to make their way out and when Harry tells the headmaster not to worry, he replies: 'I am not worried, Harry, I am with you.' |

When they reach the tower Dumbledore tells Harry to go and fetch Snape, but then they hear running footsteps on the other side of the door. For Snape is the Half-Blood Prince. Then Harry tells Snape to kill him and calls him 'coward,' which infurates Snape who yells 'DON'T CALL ME COWARD' and slashes the air, but Buckbeak comes to Harry's rescue.
