Harry Potter is a wizard. He is in his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Little does he know that this year will be just as eventful as the last...

Chapter one - The Worst Birthday
Harry Potter is at the Dursley's and it is horrible. The Dursley's are expecting important
visitors and Harry is to keep away.
Harry is bad tempered because he has not recieved any letters from his friends.
He manages to tease Dudley and therefore Harry is set to do work. | |

Chapter Two - Dobby's Warning
A house-elf is in Harry's bedroom when Harry comes up. The house-elf keep saying Harry can't go back to Hogwarts. Dobby, as the house-elf is called, has even been stopping Harry's letters.
Dobby keeps hitting himself and yelping.
Dobby does magic in the Dursleys house while the Mason's are there. Harry gets an official warning from the Ministry. Since he Dursley's lost the deal because of this, Harry is locked up in his room. | |

Chapter Three - The Burrow
Harry is rescued by Fred, George and Ron Weasley, in a flying car. Harry comes to the Burrow, the Weasley's home.
We learn about Ron's home and see how things are threre. | |

Chapter Four - Flourish and Blotts
Harry and the Weasley's go to Diagon Alley to get their school stuff. They are travelling by Floo powder and Harry gets out at the wrong grate. He is in a dodgy shop, and Mr. Malfoy and Draco comes in.
Harry finally gets out of the store, but don't recognise the street. He meets Hagrid, who takes him to Diagon Alley.
In a Flourish and Blotts, a little while later, they meet Gilderoy Lockheart, who is there to sign books. He forses Harry to take a picture with him. Lockheart reveals that he is the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. | |

Chapter Five - The Whomping Willow
Harry and the Weasley's are in hurry to get to King's Cross. Harry and Ron are the last ones to go through the barrier, but somehow the barrier seals itself. They miss the train and think they will miss the school year. In despair they think of the flying Ford Anglia.
They fly that to Hogwarts and at the end the car is about to give in and crash in a hitting tree. They are late to the feast and Snape is threre to greet them. They are nearly expelled. | |

Chapter Six - Gilderoy Lockhart
Ron recieves a Howler at breakfast the next day. And the day does not improve. Colin Creevy, a Gryffindor first year, is a great fan of Harry and asks to take his photo. Malfoy hears this and shout it out loud. Lockhart sees it and thinks Harry is seekeing attention again.
We also get a glimpse of Lockharts lessons. He starts the year by giving them a test which only includes questions about him and then he sets some Cornish Pixies loose.
All the girls are fond of him, even Hermione. The boys, however, sees him for what he really is: Smarmy and very fond of himself. | |

Chapter Seven - Murmurs and Mudbloods
The Gryffindors are to practise Quidditch, but then the Slytherin team turns up. They have got a new Seeker, who turns out to be Malfoy. MAfly's father has bought hte Slytherin team new brooms. Hermione says that no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in, Malfoy then insults Hermione. Ron tries to curse Malfoy, but his wand backfires.
Harry must have detention with Lockhart, who he is trying to avoid. Lockhart makes him write addresses on envelopes. Just before he is to leave, Harry hears a chilling voice, but Lockhart can't hear it. | |

Chapter Eight - The Death Day Party
Harry almost gets detention for befoulding the castle, but Nearly Headles Nick helps him out. Then Harry promises he will come to Nwarly Headless Nick's Deathday party. Harry, Ron and Hermione go to the party and leave rather early.
Harry hears the voice again and he follows it. Ron and Hemione can't hear it and is worried for Harry. Then suddenly they see Mrs. Norris all stiff and haning by her tail from a chandelier outside Moaning Myrtle's batroom. | |

Chapter Nine - The Writing on the Wall
On the wall it is written that the Chamber of Secrtets has been opened again. Many think that Harry, Ron and Hermione did it, but Dumbledore and some others does not. We find out that the cat has been petrified.
The students are all eager to find out about the Chambero fo Secrtets. Hermione asks Professor Binns to tell them, because all the copies of Hogwarts: A History has been checker out of the library.
The trio goes to investigate the batroom. While they are there Hermione comes up with a plan to lure a confession out of Malfoy. | |

Chapter Ten - The Rougue Bludger
The first Quidditch Match comes around and Gryffindor is playing Slytherin. Harry gets a Bludger after him and it will not stop chasing him. Harry breaks his arm and when Lockharts try to mend his bones, he removes them. Harry needs to het his bones regrown.
He is woken up by Dobby, who admits he set the Bludger on Harry and cealing the barrier. Suddenly Harry hears a noise and Dobby disappears. It turns out that Colin Creevy has been pertifired: The Chamber is indeed open again. | |

Chapter Eleven - The Duelling Club
Ron and Hermione has already started preparing the plan in Moaning Myrtle's batroom when Harry gets there.
Lockhart starts a Duelling Club with Snape as an assistant. At the first and only meeting, people fin out that Harry can speak to snakes, that he is a parselmouth. Harry did not know that it was bad and thought lots of people could.
Harry is now greatly suspected. The suspicions does not lighen when Harry finds Justin Finch-Fletchley petrified behind Nearly Headless Nick. Harry is then taken to Dumbledore's office. | |

Chapter Twelve - The Polyjuice Potion
We learn that Dumbledore still does not think that Harry did it. We get itroduced to Fawkes, Dumbledore's phoenix.
We find out that Malfoy is not the heir of Slytherin and they are left womdering about who it could be. Hermione's attempt went wrongly and she ends up in the Hospital Wing. | |

Chapter Thirteen - The Very Secret Diary
Harry finds an empty diary in Moaning Myrtle's batroom. For some reason, he does not seem to be ablte to discard the diary. He finds out how to work it and finds out that Hagrid was the one that opened the Chamber of Secrets.
Lockhart has surprised the school with celebrating St. Valetin's Day, to the disgust of the teachers. | |

Chapter Fourteen - Cornelius Fudge
Someone steals the diary and has went though all of Harry's belongings.
The second Quiddicth match draws closer and at the day of the event, Hermione seems to get something. She says she will meet them at the match, but she never comes. Instead comes McGonagall and tells them that the match is cancelled and then she shows Harry and Ron a petrified Hermione.
The safety measures increes and it is wuite hard for Ron and Harry to get down to Hagrid's. they want to ask him about it. However, when they are there Cornelius Fudge and Dumbledore comes down to take Hagrid to Azkaban. Lucius Malfoy also comes and tells Dumbledore that he has been suspended. | |

Chapter Fifteen - Aragog
Harry and Ron follow Hagrid's advice and end up in the Forest. They meet giant spiders and Harry talks to the leader, who is a friend of Hagrid's. They find out that Hagrid did not set the monster on the Muggleborns. The spiders want to eat them, but they get saved by the Ford Anglia. | |

Chapter Sixteen - The Chamber of Secrets
Harry and Ron try to get to Moaning Myrtle's batroom, but the security is heavy. When they finally manage to escape the teachers, they get discovered by McGonagall. Luckily Harry comes up with the idea that they were to visit Hermione. NOw they have got to do it. While they are there Harry notices a piece of paper in Hermione's clentched had. On that piece of paper, the whole mystery of what's hidden in the Chamber of Secrtets stand.
Harry and Ron goes to the Staffroom to tell the teachers, but when they get there, everybody is told to get t their dormitories and we learn that Ginny Weasley has been taken into the Chamber itself.
Harry and Ron makes Lockhart come with them.
Lockhart manage to loose his memory and Harry gets blocked in the tunel by the blast. | |

Chapter Seventeen - The Heir of Slytherin
Harry continues and enters the chamber. There he finds the responsible person and he finds out a lot of things. He also fight the Heir of Slytherin and the monster within the chamber and conquer them witht he help of the Sorting Hat and Fawkes.
Harry brings Ginny back to Ron and Lockhart. And they go to McGonagall's office. | |

Chapter Eighteen - Dobby's Reward
There is a reunion between Mrs. Weasley and Ginny. Everything sorts out and Dumbledore is back. Harry is asked to come ot Dumbledore's office. Here we have a conversation between Dumbledore and Harry.
Lucius Malfoy turns up with Dobby. Harry sets Dobby free.
The rest of the chapert we just see Harry and
co go home. | |
