The wizarding world wouldn’t be the wizarding world without a few things going wrong here and there.
It’s the summer of 2076. There’s no better way to commence the warm season than to attend an international sporting event. Yes, folks, it’s that exciting time of year once more: it’s time for the Quidditch World Cup! Great Britain hasn’t hosted the Cup since 1994, the fateful year that the post-match festivities went all too wrong. Alas, it has been decades since that unhappy event and the Ministry has made sure that absolutely everything will run smoothly during this year’s match. One of the most important added security measures is a restriction on entries to the event: all Quidditch World Cup attendees will only be allowed to arrive by portkey. With the large number of portkeys being created in mass production for the World Cup, something is bound to go wrong. Thus, this is where our story begins.
Welcome to the unnamed isle. It appears to be uninhabited, but everything changes on one fateful day. The ecosystem and balance of the island is abruptly turned topsy-turvy when multiple wizards and witches arrive on the shore, clutching indiscriminate objects and looking thoroughly puzzled. When magic is attempted to be used to remedy this mishap, wands backfire, people are splinched, and spells fail those bold enough to utter them. All of the unfortunate visitors to this island must rough it to survive, or give up the ghost. With so many unexpected guests on this island, exactly who is surely safe at the Cup and who is in peril at the island is unsure.

Hi, all! -waves- Firstly, let me apologize for the lackluster description; I haven't been in Knockturn Alley RPs for a long while, so I'm a bit rusty. If you didn’t understand the description, I’ll lay it out for you: some portkeys intending to take wizards and witches (namely, all of our characters in this RP) to the Quidditch World Cup have gone wonky and taken all of our characters to this uncharted island, where magic can’t be used or so they think. This RP is almost like LOST, with everything being foreign and uncivilized to our characters. I’ll serve as narrator, along with playing my own character(s), to keep this RP running smoothly.
If you have a Hogwarts and Ministry character that you’d like to include, by all means, play your two characters! Just try to change up the color for each character so nobody gets confused, please. Also, specify whether your character is from the School RPG, the Ministry of Magic RPG, or another RP thread in Knockturn Alley RPGs. To create some continuity (and so some of our characters know each other upon arriving on the island), I'm disallowing made-ups (as in, this would be the first time that you'll ever use this character) and canons.
Please make your posts at least longer than two sentences. I know all who are invited, so I'm sure that all of you are capable of this feat. Also, grammar is important, so please spell check! For those of you who use Mozilla Firefox or Chrome, it spell checks what you type so pay attention to those words underlined in red! On another note, and as I included in your invitations, this RP is in this particular forum so we can include a variety of characters from different eras and locations in our RPing histories.
This RP is by invite only! I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
A note on the title: Ye Olde Holm is Old English, which translates to The Old Island.
Text Cut: Important! Must include in your first post!
So, you've received my invitation, you understand the plot, you read the guidelines under the first text cut, and now you're here. If you haven't done any the above, please remedy the problem.
It is mandatory that you use the following in your first post:
Character(s): [insert names of characters] Character Status(es): [specify whether they currently attend Hogwarts, are Hogwarts graduates, work at the Ministry, or are from other Knockturn Alley RPs/provide a link to the RP that they originated in] Total Number of Characters: [not necessarily limited]
Biography/Biographies: [self explanatory; please make one for all characters; if they currently attend Hogwarts, specify the year that they have just completed; if they work at the Ministry, specify the department]
If you need an example, please see my character information at the bottom of this post.
Unfortunate Souls Characters (To be modified in the future) Strikethroughs indicate that this character is no longer majorly involved in the plot, is deceased, etc. In short, their loose ends are tied up.

-drumroll-
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Hogwarts Variety Hour! It gives me great pleasure to introduce our second act...
Theodore Dumble Model: Jesse Eisenberg
THE BASICS:
Date of Birth: 1/7/59 Age/Year: 17/Incoming Seventh Year, just completed Sixth Year Place of Birth: Bath, England Current Residence: Oxford, England Heritage: Halfblood House: Ravenclaw Wand: 10.8 inches, mahogany, unicorn hair (from a male) Patronus: Unknown Boggart: Anything furry with too many eyes and/or legs. Make that anything too colorful, as well.
APPEARANCE:
Eyes: Blue Hair: Dark blonde Height: 186 centimeters or 6 feet, 1.5 inches Build: Slim. Call me a walking stick bug, I guess.
PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND:
What’s there to say about me? A lot, I suppose. Everyone has a story to tell. Mine is just more, um, boring? It all started back when the stork delivered me to my parents back in the day and, boy, were they happy campers. My dad filmed the whole thing on his old video camera although to this day, even I’m afraid to watch the footage. I don’t even have the nerve to go search through all of our old crates and home videos in the shed out behind our house; there are spiders and other creepy crawlers there! But I digress.
When I was four, my dad’s job shipped him off to New York. Moving to another country wasn’t a huge issue for me. I only cared whether or not my mom was going to let me play with her old Comet 360, which she rarely did, and if my dad was going to pick me up some candy on his way home from work. My mom was and has been a housewife for as long as I can remember; she was a Hufflepuff when she went to school and never had the most excellent grades. Even though she’s not as witty as dear old dad, I think they’re pretty even on the scale of usefulness. My mom’s magical prowess and my dad’s degree from a muggle university and skills with everything muggle-esque pretty much even them out in my eyes. While my dad went off to work, my mom homeschooled me and did most of the household chores. I was never privy to making anyone’s acquaintance, so my mom was my best friend throughout my years in America.
I moved back to England last summer, my dad’s job relocating my family again. I took it a bit harder this time that I did about ten years ago. Even though I really didn’t have any friends back in New York, I was used to my Americanisms and barely even recalled living across the pond at all. The move was made a bit better because my parents got me my first pet, a cat. They know I’m fond of their cute little noses and whiskers. I’m excited to be able to bring her to Hogwarts; she loves it as much as I do.
I had a lot to learn and even though I’m technically home again, I still feel like the biggest foreigner. Thanks to my mom, I mean, mum, I’m learning to adjust to differences in the language, the weather, and everything that’s different in both the muggle and wizarding worlds. My dad is helping me along with the muggle side of the spectrum, him being a full-blown muggle, and my mum is helping my along with the wizarding part, her being a halfblood, telling me all about everything else there is to know. I’ll admit that my new friends and tour guide also helped me adjust to the medieval castle much better. Now, let's prepare to go to my first ever professional quidditch game! I just hope that the bludgers aren't rogue and start aiming for the crowd rather than for the players.

Text Cut: Alfred Amadeus Kipling
Without further ado, may I introduce... Amadeus Alfred Kipling Model: Clément Chabernaud
THE BASICS:
Date of Birth: 1/15/57 Age/Status: 19/Hogwarts graduate Place of Birth: Paris, France Current Residence: Buckinghamshire, England Heritage: Pureblood Old House: Ravenclaw Wand: 10.8 inches, mahogany, unicorn hair (from a male) Patronus: Peacock Boggart: Himself, with pimples and/or a bad hair day
APPEARANCE:
Eyes: Blue Hair: Dark blonde Height: 186 centimeters or 6 feet, 1.5 inches Build: Slim with a small amount of muscle tone
PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND:
Amadeus Alfred Kipling was born to Chauncey and Antoinette Kipling while they were vacationing in France, although they both fully knew that Antoinette was about to pop. A week after their first child's birth, they returned to their manor in the posh countryside of Buckinghamshire, England, where Amadeus was raised in the most privileged manner that wizard money could buy. He was never told the word 'no' and to this day, he takes it personally if one denies him even the smallest request. He was spoiled even more greatly than his other wealthy acquaintances because of his status as an only child. His parents were and still are grooming him for what he was born to do: take over the family business of international wand-making, a tradition that goes back in his father's family for quite a few generations.
Before he reached the age of eleven, he had already traveled around at least a quarter of the world and was much smarter than the other children his age. He had been taught various subjects by tutors and governesses since he was the age of five and some of his instructors had even traveled with him, teaching him bits and pieces of various languages. However, the one governess that stayed with Amadeus the longest was the Frenchwoman, Adéle. Because of her French heritage and Amadeus's connection to Paris, they were able to bond over more things than were possible with the governesses from Romania, Germany, and Switzerland. All in all, Amadeus has lived the good life. His time at Hogwarts is definitely not as glamorous as it is at home, but he has learned to get by with his friends who can accept his brooding, sarcastic, haughty ways. Most people his age become easily intimidated or irritated, some of them even mistaking him for a Slytherin because of his personality.
Underneath it all, Deus can be a nice person. It is rare for him to show his friendly side unless he deems one worthy of his time and attention. He was more arrogant than ever for a while, although his best friend's death over the summer did not fail to somewhat humble him into a better wizard. Although his conceit remains, his last year at Hogwarts, coupled with new friends and a spot on the victorious Ravenclaw quidditch team, changed him for the better.

Text Cut: Faris Patino
Roommate: A couple of lazy butts
Name: Faris Patino
Prefers to be called: ...Faris.
Year: Incoming Sophomore at Wenlock University (a kind of post-Hogwarts school for those who continue their education)
Age: 19
DOB: September 21
POB: Tuscany, Italy; in a barn
Nationality: Italian
Blood Status: Halfblood
Alumni of: La Scuola Di Magia (The School of Magic; he went to an Italian wizarding school rather than Hogwarts)
Patronus: Thestral (Sneak attack, much?)
Favorite Subject During "High School": Arithmancy
Favorite Subject at Wenlock Uni: Undecided
Major: Magizoologist: A person who studies magical creatures (a field known as magizoology), they may possibly also be referred to as wizarding naturalists. It is likely that one must get good grades in Care of Magical Creatures class to meet the qualifications for this career. Magizoologists who specialise in the study of dragons are referred to as dragonologists. (Source: HPWiki)
Appearance: Faris takes pride in his appearance, at least somewhat. His raven-black hair is his best friend and he can spend at least an hour fussing with it, making it perfectly unkempt. His skin is quite bronzed; what else would you expect from an Italian farm boy? His eyes are a deep, hazelnut shade of brown. When he's angry, which is rare, they sometimes can appear black with fury. As for build, he stands fairly tall at about 6 feet and is fairly lean and toned from all of those years helping his parents work the land. Although he's used to working with animals and dirt, he also takes pride in his nails and teeth, almost obsessively charming them to stay just right. If he didn't, all of that homemade food and Italian rock clay would have ruined his pearly whites and perfect nails a long time ago.
Style: Faris dresses like any other normal guy and is fairly laid-back. You can usually catch him in jeans, a tank top, a plain sweater, and any one of his three pairs of work boots (grey, black, or brown: whichever suits his mood or the occasion). People are surprised to find that he keeps the majority of his clothes unstained, as most guys like him are stereotyped to be gallavanting about the countryside barefoot in a dirt-stained burlap sack.
Personality: Faris is a fairly relaxed guy. He is only ever riled up if you speak ill of his loved ones (including his pet and the farm animals), his upbringing, his ethnicity, and any other means of insults that people often times use. He's got a pretty nasty bat-bogey hex for a farmboy, so watch out! Other than that, Faris is usually quiet and reserved. He's not anti-social, he just prefers to observe the world around him in silent awe. He was raised to be a gentleman and is the definition of chivalry. Faris is the farthest thing from a womaniser and is quite elementary about girls: he'll have major periods of longing over a girl or two, but he's too shy to ever approach the object of his desires. When you get to know him and get past the silence and shyness, Faris is a pretty fun person to hang around. He cracks jokes almost non-stop and is loyal and protective of his close friends. When he's angry, which is rare, beware. He tries to keep away from others when he's in a dangerous mood, but on a few occasions he has gone ranting and raving on a few unlucky people. Overall, Faris is a homely farm boy, who was excited about his move from Italy to England in the hopes of expanding his horizons.
He has completed his freshman year at wizarding university and is more than excited to attend the World Cup.

Background: You peasants don't even deserve to know about my history. It'll all be written in my autobiography, included with details of my future rise to fame, so get those dollars, euros, pesos, and galleons ready. For now, the only ones who have the right to even breathe on me, let alone talk to me in a civilized manner, are my mom, my dear Winnie-Pooh, and my dad... although he might not even deserve such a thing for disappearing on the family.
Don't underestimate my lack of proper magic or training. All of my future moolah is gonna come from my own set of special skills. Don't call me a double threat, triple threat, or even a quadruple threat: call me an infinitesimal threat... see, I learned SOMETHING from tagging along with my boytoy to wizarding university. I sing, dance, act, strut, model, draw, paint, sculpt, sleep, and flip my hair professionally. The peasants of the universe just haven't figured out what a gift I am to humanity and that a star lies in the midst of you dirty lower-class people.
Aaaanyway, Wenlock University bored me to death, so I'm glad that summer vacation is here. Waiting in my boyfriend's room for him to return from classes was positively boring, and he couldn't have expected me to bask in the sun: I'm a ghostly goddess! Going to this wizard sporting thing might be, dare I say, fun. I'll be provided with expensive things, eye candy, and people to make fun of. I say that this is a win-win, don't you think?

Dislikes: Liars, cheats, backstabbers, manipulators, judging others.
History:
Emma Astoria Malfoy was born to Lilanna Malfoy and Scorpius Malfoy. She is there only daughter and second child. When Emma was little her elder brother, Draco, brought her outside to be taught how to play Quidditch. Emma succeeded at this and fell in love with Quidditch. She has a huge family (all of them are purebloods) and they all enjoy meeting up for the holidays at her home, Malfoy Manor. And the Malfoy dinner conversation's a quite interesting.....
At the age of 11, little Emma Malfoy embarked on the train to arrive at Hogwarts. The young Malfoy made many close good friends like the hyper Selena Zabini Riddle! She hasn't really made any enemies.. Yet. Emma was happy to have a reunion with her cousins, especially Trixie and Dianna. She hadn't seen Trixie in ages! Also in her first year, she made the Quidditch Reserve team as a Beater. She was hoping to make the ACTUAL team this year but when she found out that there was no Quidditch.. she was extremely upset!
And over the summer, she turned twelve! Emma barely survived a year without Quidditch. At least she had Sel.. And.. She met and fell head over heels for an old best friend, David Black (Your Best Friend). She also met a lot of other people and has kept in contact with some of them. Over the summer, she and David broke up, David was going back to Beauxbatons and it wasn’t really working out. And not to mention, he was seeing someone else. Also she played Quiddtch for the whole of the summer, which helped clear her mind. And made her forget the whole drama thing, she decided that she was way to young for a relationship at the age of twelve, maybe in a couple of years- she'd have one? It depended one the person, she would meet.
In the summer before her third year, she hung around Diagon Alley a lot and played Quidditch. In Diagon Alley, she met her partner in crime, Alex Reed (potterobssesionist). She has been enjoying spending her time with him and Sel. Rex, Fee (her cousin’s ex girlfriend), and Trixie. Also in Diagon Alley she met up with the old Head Boy and her Quidditch Captain, Oliver Greenwood. They talked about life and of course... Quidditch. Emma’s third year went by so quickly. She didn’t make the Quidditch team due to some technical difficulties. She hung out with Selena, Dianna, and Alex a lot. This year she made a lot of new friends, Ellie Johanesen (sarahbarkett), Brae (Gryffindoll), Hyun (CassopiaKAFT), and Fee a.k.a Glitter Girl (Feenella). There wasn’t a lot of drama occurring around her, except for a minor amount with her Alexbear and Ellie, and Alexbear and Sellie-bubellie. Selena and Alex hated each other- Emma thinks they still do.. But soon the Ellax drama was all solved and this resulted in two of the people dating and one confused (our blonde). But that’s life. And to her surprise, Professor Lafay even said fun in a sentence, this shocked the Malfoy girl and made her decide never to judge someone before you get to know them. Sadly, Selena left Hogwarts to go to America because her evil mother said so. However, Emma is determined as ever to find Sel and bring her back to Hogwarts. No matter what it takes. Also, Rex Trigwell, her fake brother left before graduating, which kind of brought the year to the end abruptly and quickly. The year came to the end quickly and many people were happy, save for Emma, who was confused about the whole thing!
Heading back to school with an optomistic view of what this year was going to be about, Emma Malfoy was once again confused when she arrived at Hogwarts. Drama again had occurred over the summer with her friends in New York and Emma finally learned about it in September. Team Fealem had finally ceased to exist. And Selena's departure had made the Malfoy feel a bit depressed without her bubbly, sugar addicted bestie there to lighten up the mood. Yet, despite all of this. Emma's fourth year went smoothly and was quite a wonderful year. Like every term it did have its downfalls but the majority of the time was amazing. The Malfoy missed her close friend desperately but without her being there it made her go out and meet other people in different houses. And once again the blonde plotted to take over the world but this time, she had a new friend to help her: Theo! It was quite a social year for the Slytherin. Also, one thing occurred that Emma would never forget. Actually.. it might be four things. First of all, she fell for one of her close friends, which ended up with the two of them dating. Second of all, the blonde was called "Blondie", a nickname which she loathes. Thirdly, she made the Quidditch Reserve Team. And last of all, witnessing the use of the cake canon, which was... *amazing.* Oh and her cousin, Trixie, had a baby and Emma can't wait to see Trixie, the baby, and Freddie )Trixie's fiancé). Now the term's almost up and Emma doesn't want it to end...
Still, the Quidditch Obsessed Malfoy is looking forward to her fifth year, which is around the corner.
Personality:
Emma Malfoy is a tall, blonde hair girl who is extremely intelligent. Almost always smirking and plotting to take over the world, she loves to have a good time. The Malfoy is extremely outgoing, helpful, loyal, cunning, and brave. Some people told her she should have been a Gryffindor but she was a Slytherin (through and through). Emma strives to be the best that she can be!
Some may regard the Slytherin as way too hyper, happy, or stubborn, but she doesn't care what others think- Well most of the time. She is polite and kind though she has a mean streak to her as well. Unlike her parents and grandparents, she's not prejudice towards anyone because she has learned that judging someone by their blood status or looks is just purely wrong. Emma enjoys hanging out with her friends and having a good laugh. The blonde enjoys making friends. She loves to tease and come up with pranks especially with Alex or Sel. However, she is not caught! Well not yet..
The blonde is a true and loyal friend. So don't mess with her friends or you'll be hexed! And don't call her 'blondie' or you might as well get hexed twice. As I said before, she hates when people make fun of her friends or hurt them, she will be the first one to hex them.
Yayyyy! I'm so excited for the RP!! Love the plot, BTW, Mel.
Okay! Down to business.

Ruby Abigail Blair
THE BASICS:Why Do You Care?!
Date of Birth: May 25th Age/Year: 17/Incoming Seventh Year Place of Birth: Kirkcaldy, Scotland Current Residence: Glasgow, Scotland Heritage: Halfblood House: Gryffindor Wand: Maple; Unicorn hair core Patronus: A lionness Boggart: Braeden Stonem Losing her father; being left alone.
APPEARANCE:I Am Beautiful
Eyes: Green Hair: Red Height: 5'6 Build: Slim and slightly athletic
PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND: The Story of the Lioness
Nicknamed the 'Fiery Redheaded Lioness', Ruby lives by this title. Her fiery, red hair does in fact give her the appearance of a very angry lioness and she plays this part well. She will be up your case about anything and everything about you so steer clear of Ruby Blair. Most of the time she has a scowl on her face and rarely smiles; say one nice thing to her and she might just make you regret it. Ruby loves to bully those who are weaker than her Brae but some have found ways to stand up to this so-called bully.
However, most people don't know why the lioness acts cold towards the majority of the population. In fact, many will find it hard to believe that Ruby was once a very quiet and calm girl--that is, before she lost her mother. Her pureblood father, Ryan Blair, fell in love with and married Diane McKenna, a Muggle. Though Ryan's parents were fully opposed to the marriage, he went ahead and wed Diane in a private ceremony. Although Diane knew about Ryan's powers and the Wizarding world, it did not bother her--at least for a while.
Their first and only daughter was born on May 25th and they both cherished her immensely. However, Diane was now having doubts about the world she had mixed herself in. She knew that Ruby would grow up to be just like her father; a witch, and she simply couldn't bear it. When Ruby was only 7 years old, Diane Blair ran away from home and was never seen again. Ruby was highly depressed at the loss of her mother and tried every way to get her back but Ryan was sure that his marriage was over. Though Diane's reason for leaving her husband and daughter were never clear, Ryan knew it had to do with the Wizarding world and Ruby's fate as a witch.
At the age of 12, Ruby, unbeknownst to her father, left home in search of her mother. She finally tracked her down in a Spanish city only to find that Diane had died 2 years ago from an unknown cause. Hurt, Ruby made her way back home, where she told her father the news. Although he was upset, Ryan knew that he had to make things better for his only daughter. She needed a mother but he did not have the heart to remarry. So he decided to home school Ruby in order for her to get a good enough education so she could work one day. However, this proved disastrous. The quiet and calm girl was calm no more; instead, the loss of her mother and then the news of her death had hit Ruby hard. The grief turned inward and the outward result was anger and hatred. She loved her father but she had made herself unteachable. After many fruitless attempts, Ryan finally decided that it was time to send Ruby to school, where he hoped she could be managed. Thus, Ruby was sent to the best Wizarding school in Great Britain: Hogwarts. She started as a 5th year and made many enemies along with way, with a couple of friends as well. She will start her 7th and final year at Hogwarts after this summer.

Hailey Anne Mitchell
Date of Birth: January 1st Blood Status: Pureblood School/House: Hogwarts/Slytherin Patronus: Bat Year at Wenlock: Incoming Junior Favorite Subject: Transfiguration Sorority at Wenlock: Delta Zeta (ΔZ) Relationship Status: Single
History: Hailey Mitchell was born in Edinburgh, Scotland to Scott and Kerri Mitchell, who are two extraordinary Healers at St. Mungo's. Because of this, Hailey also decided to pursue a career in healing, although she is open to other options as well. She was brought up as a spoiled child, even though her younger brother, Luke, was the baby of the family. Luke turned out to be the smarter one, though Hailey decided to prove that she's just as smart by going to Wenlock. Hopefully, she won't disappoint her parents.
Personality: Hailey is an arrogant, overly dramatic, typical college girl. Always falling for the wrong guys, and always being extreme has left a mark on her. Most of the time, she is carefree and likes to live life to the fullest. She gets very jealous, very easily, and is a bit too much for her parents to control. Overall, though, she just wants to have fun.
Pets: None. She's not a fan of animals of any kind.
Family Members: Mother: Kerri Mitchell (née O'Connor) Father: Scott Mitchell Sibling(s): Luke Mitchell
Likes: Boys, fashion, makeup, jewelry, having white teeth, salads, pink. Dislikes: Ugly people, poor people, any kind of meat, homework, girls who are prettier than her, animals.
Yay! I'm so excited! Character: Alfiana Opal Port Character Status: Alfiana Opal Port (Currently attending Hogwarts) Total Number of Characters: 1
SPOILER!!: Bio!
Alfiana Opal Port Prefers to be called: Alfie Model: Portia Doubleday
Age: Recently turned 15 DOB: March 14th Blood: Half-Blood Wand: 10 1/2 inch wand, made from Cottonwood with a core of Unicorn hair Year in School: 4th/5th House: Ravenclaw Status in Hogwarts: Recently was an exchange student Relationship Status: Currently Single Any crushes:very possible that there might be someone she's grown a little fond of. Undetermined.
Appearance: Hair: Naturally blonde Eyes: Blue, large, oftentimes staring Height: 5' 6 1/2 Body Type: Slender and slightly athletic from the quidditch she used to play at her old school
Personality:
Alfie is difficult to describe, because a lot of her major emotions are rarely shown on her expression. Though far from mean, Alfie sometimes has difficulty going out of her way to show her caring side and meet new friends. She likes having people around her and prefers to have friends, but has found that her generally mousey outward appearance makes it difficult to meet people. Sometimes she can even seem like she doesn't want to speak with anyone, when in reality can't think of anything to say.
Though generally quiet around new people, after a couple weeks of knowing someone, Alfie can quickly warm up to them and show her more humourous, outgoing side. She's a very loyal friend, and once she knows a person, she has no problems speaking with them and having a good time. She has a bad, consistent habit of staring. Like, really staring. Oftentimes, her large blue eyes get stuck onto someone's expression out of curiosity or thoughtfulness, and she won't realize it at all. Alfie is very observant, and sweet, and seemingly quiet, but quickly grows happy and excited around her own friends.
Extra Information:
At the age of eleven, instead of attending Hogwarts like most of the other wizarding youth her age, Alfie was at a boarding school that reached from age eight to thirteen. A small educational system, it provided her with any learning tools she needed in regards to both muggle things and wizarding knowledge up to the 3rd year standard in Hogwarts's eyes. Basically, it was the equivalent to a Hogwarts education, minus the fun. A boarding school, she found friends and small relationships, but never really found great happiness, her personality allowing her to fade into the background successfully with her small group of friends to keep her company now and then.
At the beginning of her fourth year, her parents allowed her to transfer over into Hogwarts, a large step for Alfie who hadn't ever been in a school with so much prestige. She eventually found her place, immensely enjoying the classes and even finding a group of people to be around that she greatly liked. Her new friends topped her old ones easily, and she enjoyed their company off the bat.
Family:
Father: Charles Port (Wizard) - age 48, lacks a sense of humour, stern, likes rules, cares very little for silly things. Mother: Gretchen Port (Muggle) - age 44, desperately hoping to latch on to any remnants of her youth, has a shopping addiction. Sweet, but hopeless.
Family Background:
Alfie is an only child, and though she gets along with her parents, doesn't consider them to be her favourite people in the world. They provide her with a place to stay, and she can enjoy their company, but they don't exactly have heart to heart conversations. Alfie does perfectly fine on her own. Her father's strict rules have pretty much extinguished any chances of a healthy father-daughter relationship, constantly battling with his stern attitude. Alfie's own light-hearted, curious personality, can often clash with her father's more business-like one. ("Would you quit staring at people, Alfie!? Merlin, you're always doing that...")
Her mother is sweet but clueless, content to buy her way into happiness with the money gained from her husband's successful job in the Wizarding world. Seemingly oblivious to any and all problems, she sails through life with her shopping habits, speaking to her daughter about light topics occasionally before heading off to a massage or manicure or something of the sort. Alfie doesn't exactly mind though, her personality just differs greatly from that of her parents and she much prefers to be at school with the few friends she's gained at Hogwarts.
Other: Patronus: Pidgeon (Something she's not exactly proud of.) Pet: Alfie has a pet bluebird, which she got at the age of thirteen. Before that, she didn't have an animal as she assumed all hated her. Still, most seem to, except for her bluebird. Dislikes/Fears: Cats, large animals, birds larger than her bluebird, moving houses, loneliness. Likes: sunlight, rain, green grass, being outside, reading books, watching muggle movies at home, eating cake, being with people she likes.

Cathleen met Gave a love potion to a rich muggle named Charles McKinny, who fell in love with her, consequently they gained more to their wealth. He has since came off of the potion but just likes living in a big house and they get along well enough.
Personality:
After growing up in a family whose values are those of elitists, it has caused these characteristics to rub off on Riley. Many may consider him mean, but it is all he has known really. He can come off a bit snobby and pretentious at times, but the fact is, he has a very hard time trusting others (because of his real father) and can be suspicious at time. He has few friends due to his moving of schools. If you take the time to get to know him, you will be able to find the caring and non-attacking person underneath the harsh words and comments.
History:
Was born into the home of his mother and father with his twin sister Lea. The family lived in a pleasant state for most of his early life, only a few squabbles here and there, and things were for the most part, ok. The twins and their older brother were enrolled in the private wizarding school called Harlesk Institute in Luxemburg. During Riley and Lea’s break from school, after their third year, there was a terrible duel between their parents because of money. One spell from his father missed his mother and hit Riley in the thigh, leaving a pretty bad burn. His father left a nervous and angry wreck.
A few days later, his mother Cathleen, announced at the breakfast table (Riley having been as healed as best he could, still leaving a burn-like scar on his upper leg) that their father had been reported as missing. Riley and the rest of her children knew what she had done but they were mildly indifferent due to his cruelness.
After returning to school, Lea and Riley stayed at Harlesk for one more term, in which he dated Michelle Vaine. After their brother graduated, their mother and new Muggle step-father wanted them to go to school closer to home. So they finally decided that Riley would go ahead of his sister to Hogwarts and see what it was like before she joined him the next term.
His terms at Hogwarts was were he met his best friends Braden Strodem, Deus Kipling, and Roderigo ____ and many more. He was sorted into the Gryffndor house despite his obvious Slytherin tendencies and eventually learned to love his house. Throughout his next few terms he grew closer to fellow Gryffindors Kurumi Hollinberry and Lexi Denver, met and bullied into friendship Theo Dumble, and became partner in crime with Evelyn Flores. He roamed the halls of Hogwarts with a perfect grin and an easily raised eyebrow...a smirk would often grace his face.
After he graduated Hogwarts, the very summer he was walking down he street in Diagon Alley and was approached by a witch who worked at a magical modeling agency and gave the newly graduated boy her card. He visited her at her office in London and after some photography he signed a contract and now Riley models a line of young wizards clothing, and is the face of 'Stick-it Quick' Melrose Wizarding Hair Gel. Like his head could get any bigger.
His new gig has landed him tickets to the Quidditch World cup this year in order to promote the new product!

Physical Appearance:
Hair:: Dirty Blonde
Eyes:: Ice Blue
Height:: 6'3"
Weight:: 170 lbs.
Build:: Tall, lean, muscular, but not bulky.
Personality: Mason is a generally content person. He enjoys having the company of his friends and sometimes he just enjoys sitting at home by by himself, drinking tea and reading the newspaper with his dog. Mason loves making new friends, and most of his friends are girls. Don't ask him why. He doesn't know. He can be sensitive most of the time, but he doesn't like to show his feelings, like most men. Mason is a people person and gets along with just about anyone he comes in contact with. He's definitely a handy-man and enjoys fixing things. Which works well with his new position in Ministry Maintenance.
History: Although he was born in Sweden, his parents and ancestors have always lived in England. Mason grew as an only child in a little wizarding community in Sweden until his parents decided to move back to London when he was 5. He was never spoiled as a child, but his parents did put an emphasis on "Pureblood-power". Mason is an only child, so he never had many playmates growing up as a child. He had a special friendship with his butler, Tony, until he died when Mason was 10. Mason's parents never found a butler that suited their family quite as well as Tony did.
Mason didn't have many friends as a child, but when he went to Hogwarts, he found a few close friends there. He played Keeper on the Gryffindor Quidditch team his fifth year and did exceedingly well... Until Toby Mckenzie knocked him out with a bludger and made him fall off his broom. He resigned after that. Mason had success in most of his classes, except Potions and Divinations. His Potions professor told him he had the intelligence of a scurmquat. Whatever that was. He did exceedingly well in Muggle Studies, Charms, and Transfiguration, his favorite classes.
When Mason entered his 7th year at Hogwarts, he met a first year, by the name of James Johanson. He was a small boy, shy and timid. At first, Mason helped the boy find his way through the castle, but a friendship grew and soon Mason helped him improve his quidditch skills and even gave him flirting tips to help James catch the eye of a certain firstie girl he liked. Mason's friends gave him a hard time for being friends with a first year, but he didn't mind. And neither did James.
After he graduated, he found a part time job as an employee at a small bakery in Muggle London. The time he spent at the bakery was the most fun part of his day. He worked with mostly older "grandmas" and provided entertainment for them. He even busted out the guitar every now and then to sing to the older women. He didn't tell his parents about the job, however, and told them he was simply "busy with friends". Of course, they found out eventually and were very disappointed. A couple years later, Mason's mother fell ill. Mason quit his job at the bakery and stayed with his mother 24/7. She died when he was 23. Mason has a strong father/son relationship with his dad, who still lives in Sweden. It wasn't until Mason's mother died that he and his father really pulled closer together.
When Mason was 24, he applied to work at the Ministry of Magic for a "real job" as his father put it. He was placed under the the direction of Armen Recard in the Department of Transportation, Broom Regulatory Office. He worked there for two years until he was re-placed into the Minister's Office in Ministry Maintenance.
Mason met Medea Ward at Lord Berty Borr's Ministry party. He was bored, and she looked bored as well, so why not strike up a conversation, eh? Mason nearly immediately regretted it. The dark woman with the black widow tattoo on her back scared the hell out of him. And somehow he ended up taking her on a date to the Leaky that night to get something to drink. Although, Mason insists that Medea invited herself. Mason didn't know Ms. Ward's plan to use him and crush his little soul. After too much firewhiskey and her insults towards his velcro shoes that weren't really velcro, Mason stormed off and ended anything that he and Medea may have had. After fights, a failed friendship, a reunion with an old ex-girlfriend, a dramatic and bloody bar-fight at the Leaky Cauldron, lies, a little bit of Felix Felicis, growing feelings of longing, nostalgia, and a bottle of mysterious poison, Mason and Medea were reunited with a love greater than... something really big. Mason is madly in love with her and can't see him loving anyone else.
In January, Mason got a letter from Ellie Johanson, the sister of his friend, James Johanson. The letter informed him that James had died two and a half months previous at the age of 20. Mason was completely devastated. Along with the letter was a copy of James' will. Mason was named the Godfather of James' two children, William, age 5, and Ellie Jane, age 3. The custody of these two children had then been turned into the hands of Mason. Mason had no idea that these two children had been kept secret from James' family.
To this day, Mason Enjoys playing golf with his father and cooking. He makes fantastic food.

Personality:
At first, Ellie may seem a little shy, but that isn’t the case at all. Ellie enjoys the silence sometimes, but she also really enjoys the company of her friends. She loves being outdoors and enjoying the scenery of Hogwarts, like the lake and the pathways. She loves shopping, hates the color pink and would die without chocolate.
History:
When William Johanson, a pureblood, married Jane Bell, a muggle, William’s mother, Ellie’s grandmother, was more than upset. She was completely outraged. William’s entire childhood was spent being lectured by his mother and father about pure-blood power and how magical blood should not be mixed with non-magical blood. So, as expected, William’s mother went to extremes. She cursed Jane. She set a curse on Jane and William’s family and promised Jane that she would have to live and suffer to see the death of her husband and her two children before her own.
Ellie was born in Dublin, Ireland to William and Jane Johanson, despite the fate of the curse. She had an older brother, James who was four at the time of her birth. James and Ellie grew up good friends in their childhood. They lived in a small neighborhood in Smerwick, Ireland, a very small town on the coast of Dingle Peninsula. When she was four, Ellie became best friends with Rose Ellis, a muggle girl who lived down the street. They grew up together, played with dolls, went to the park and did all the things that best friends did. However, when Ellie got her Hogwarts acceptance letter when she was 11, things began to change. Ellie trusted Rose with all of her heart and told her that she was a witch. Rose was scared,Something in Ellie’s and Rose’s friendship changed that day and Rose never spoke to her again.
After their friendship broke, Ellie became especially closer to her father. He took her to Diagon Alley to get her wand, which was the same kind as his. Before the trains left Kings Cross, her father gave her his old snake ring that meant so much to him. Ellie wears it every day. In the midst of all this, Ellie’s brother, James, became extremely jealous of the bond that Ellie had with their father. But while James was brooding alone in his room, Ellie was enjoying the father/daughter friendship. However, the happy days with her father were limited. Beginning in the August of the following summer, Ellie’s father began to get extremely ill. Her mother knew it was the curse. The symptoms were extreme. Coughing blood, cold sweats, high fevers, manic phases, loss of memory. Soon, it was difficult for him to do any normal functioning; the words he said were often mumbled, slurred and rarely made sense. William Johanson died on October 22, after many failed remedies at St. Mungos. His last words were to Ellie. He said, “Portrait. Floorboard.” In tears, Ellie had no idea what those words were supposed to mean. They were soon forgotten.
After his death, Jane’s personality began to change drastically. Ellie found her mother sitting in the kitchen by herself, staring at the walls, drinking out of an empty coffee cup. She rarely left her room; Ellie had to make her food and bring it to her, and even then she only ate a few bites. Over time, Jane became more aggressive. She yelled more, she forbid any one to use magic in the house, or even speak about anything that could possibly relate to it. She blamed her husband’s death on magic and would have nothing to do with it. She treated Ellie less like a daughter and more like an enemy. Her mother began to love James more than Ellie and clearly favored him more as a child. James spent less and less time at home, doing what, Ellie had no idea. He claimed to have a job at a muggle business. The time he spent at home was time yelling at Ellie.
The next two years passed slowly and sadly and Ellie felt completely alone. She had made no friends at Hogwarts and she felt like her family hated her. In the beginning of her fourth year, however, things began to change. She met Alex Reed, a third year Slytherin and they became instant friends. Ellie soon met his fellow Slytherins and became close friends with Fee, Emma. Things at school were starting to look up for Ellie. Although, she did get kicked out of Charms class. But it was just a misunderstanding. Kind of. During that year, Ellie fell in love with Alex and they began dating in May. She was the happiest she had been in years. She became best friends with Chandler Montague as well and Ellie, Alex and Chandler spent the summer together in New York. But the happiness soon ended when feelings got confused and Ellie and Chandler suddenly felt attracted to each other. Things got blown out of proportion; Alex found out and immediately told Ellie that they needed to take a break. But soon, that break turned into the end, and Alex and Ellie were no more, even though nothing ever happened between Ellie and Chandler. Ellie struggled with herself and her feelings for months, wishing she could go back in time and take it all back, but she soon had to face the fact that Alex was never going to forgive her.
In October, James, Ellie’s brother, became increasingly ill as the curse began to kick into him. Ellie stayed home from Hogwarts for two months as she took care of her brother while her mother worked. As his conditioned worsened, something in their mother changed as well. She became less angry, more sympathetic and loving. More like the mother that she had once been. One evening, while Jane was at work, James was struggling and Ellie was scared that that night could be the last for him. Suddenly, Aurors appeared in their front yard, entered the house and attempted to take the dying James from the house. After Ellie cried, screamed and punched an Auror in the face, demanding an explanation, Ellie discovered that James had put their mother under the Imperius curse, forcing her to act the way she did, hating Ellie and favoring James due to the much jealousy he had as a child. The Aurors failed to seize James, however, because he had died in their attempt to capture him. They immediately dissapparated and Ellie sat at his side in tears. Whether tears of sadness of his loss, or of his lies; it is unknown.
Ellie returned to Hogwarts after the funeral for her fifth year, 2060. The following December, Ellie was surprised to discover that the symptoms of the curse had already began in her own body. By the beginning of January, she was coughing blood into her handkerchief, yet refused to see the healer. Chandler found a pain relieving charm in a book to help Ellie endure, but her stubborn personality refused to tell him when she is suffering.
Near the end of January, Ellie sent a much delayed letter to Mason Everard, informing him that his friend, also Ellie's brother, had passed away from the curse. Enclosed with the letter was James' will which was charmed so that only Mason could open it.
Ellie received a ticket for the Quidditch World Cup from an old family friend and will be attending this summer, taking a portkey by herself. Her mother was not so pleased, considering her condition from the curse. But Ellie insisted this be her last "hurrah" before she should die.

HISTORY
Caroline grew up in a pureblood home. The kind of purebloods that were very anti-muggle/muggleborn. A few of these families are still in existant. She never let it stop her from being friends with the muggle neighbor kids. Her parent forbid her playing with them, but every chance she got she'd find away to go and play in her neighborhood. Everyone one in her family had been in Slytherin. So when she had gotten her letter she knew that no matter how much she didn't want to go the same path as her family, it was expected of her be in Slytherin.
Tragedy hit her family when her father died unexpectedly, a few days before her leaving to Hogswarts. After his death her mother came disinsant, and cold, blaming Caroline for his death. (really it was the fact that Caroline was at school and she was alone in the house, now). Caroline was sorted into Slytherin, she choose to be there as not to disspoint her mother. Since her fathers, her and her mother relationship has gone downhill.
Caroline had her brother and sister at Hogwarts with her. She become friends with their group of friends. After her sister and her friends left school last year, Caroline is left to start making her own friends in her fifth year here.
PERSONALITY
Caroline is a sweet girl. She is very hyper but gets bored easliy. She talks to and gets alone with everyone, but she doesn't have any real best friends. She's shy at times, but others she can be a social bug. She thinks that she annoys people by being friendly to them. Caroline loves pranks. She isn't much of a girly girl, but not a tomboy either. She is the Slytherin Sweetheart.. The thing people usually asks her is, how did a sweet girl like you get in Slytherin. She is a good, caring friend, who would do anything for them.

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND:
Braeden is a goofball.
His personality is the type that takes two seconds to figure out; greet him for the first time in your life, and you already know what to expect for however long you remain friends. Despite having the face and body of a growing sixteen-year-old boy (soon to be seventeen), Braeden's heart and spirit seemed to stop maturing after his sixth birthday. Still easily amused by stupid jokes, and with the grace of a newborn puppy on rollerskates, Braeden remains a child at heart. He usually doesn't have a hard time making friends, people seem to be attracted to his friendly nature and amused by his clumsy ways. There's always the few people who will find his happy-go-lucky attitude the most infuriating thing in the world, though… RUBY BLAIR. Brae's too dull to realize when he's being shooed away, though, and in the end scares his own bullies away. Or somehow ends up convincing them that they're actually friends.
Brae comes from a very humble background. He's not descendant from any kings or queens (and if he is, he has no clue… his family tree only goes as far back as his grandparents), his parents were not heroes in their younger days, and he doesn't live in a castle somewhere overlooking the mountains. As far as Braeden knows, he's the first and only wizard in the Stonem family line. His poor mother and father didn't even know there was such a thing as a magical world, until Braeden turned eleven and found himself invited to join a prestigious magic school. At first, Mr. and Mrs. Stonem thought it was a cruel joke by the neighborhood kids, or perhaps some sort of invitation to join a gang. But nope, it was real. It took them some time to register the fact that their son could perform acts they had only seen before in Hollywood movies or science fiction books, but when they understood, they tried their best to learn as much as possible from this… new, strange world.
Overall, Mr. and Mrs. Stonem were very open and willing to learn about the magical world. They were a little apprehensive at first, but slowly began to grown fascinated by it, even proud that their son belonged to this alternate universe.
As for Braeden, well… how do you think a goofy, dorky little kid with a love for film and writing scripts would take this?
He loved it.
It was like being in his very own movie. Except that this time, he wasn't the director as he had always dreamed of being - he was the star! The leading actor! The young, eleven-year-old boy certainly did not feel a bit of his parents' earlier wariness or apprehension. He was thrilled about this, but heavily disappointed by the fact that he couldn't show off his newly-discovered powers. Keeping his ability to perform magic secret from his little neighborhood friends was quite a challenge.
However, as great as it was to be a wizard, Brae felt a little odd too. He was entering that age, adolescence, and if there was a most unfortunate time to become the odd one out, it was definitely this time. Braeden felt like an alien when hanging out with his muggle friends, and it certainly didn't help that he seemed to be the only wizard in this small town. If there were any other witches or wizards in Chesterfield, he'd never seen or met them.
As he grew older, though, Braeden got used to leading two separate lives - his muggle life (which, to this day, he still feels more attached to), and his wizard life. At home, he was Braeden Stonem the kid who was invited to join a boarding school somewhere far away. He played all the muggle sports he enjoyed with the neighborhood friends he grew up with, and amused his little sister with simple magic tricks that were interesting enough to keep the girl entertained, but basic enough not to get the boy expelled from school. And then, at Hogwarts, he was that cowardly Gryffindor that everyone felt sure was a sorting mistake; the dorky kid with the lopsided grin whose potions blew up on his face, who could never sit on a broom for too long without falling off, and who visited the kitchens so often that the elves had his food prepared before he even got there.
Family members:
-Mother: Victoria "Vicky" Stonem (41)
-Father: Joseph "Joe" Stonem (43)
-Sister: Annabelle "Annie" Stonem (13)
Likes: Movies, vintage films, the film industry, writing scripts, reading scripts, comic books, snow, destroying sand castles, giving Annie piggyback rides, annoying Ruby, stupid jokes, his never-dying love Deus, and… of course, FOOD.
Dislikes: Flying, seaweed tickling his feet in the water, smoke (cigarette smoke), the hospital wing, drinks with melted ice, lizards.
Dreams: To become a famous movie director, and the first to blend the magical and muggle worlds in his movies.

Height: 6’ 3” (188 cm) Ethnicity: White Hair Color: Dark Brown (Curly) Eye Color: Dark brown
History:
Roderigo was born and raised in the small town of Córdova, Spain, located in Southern Spain in the Andalusia region. Being born into a wealthy Spanish aristocratic family, Roderigo grew up with a very privileged life. He was an only child, and thus was extremely spoiled and pampered. But his high-class lifestyle did not inhibit his character growth. He was always a kind, generous, and considerate gentleman as he grew up. His mother and father, Isabella and Ferdinand De Lacerda, were a witch and wizard, but lived muggle lives in a muggle community with muggle jobs. However, they raised their wizard son with common wizarding traditions and values.
As Roderigo grew older, he began attending Wizarding School in Spain. He was a very avid in his studies and performance in school. He was considered a bookworm and somewhat of a know-it-all, for he took advantage of his wizarding heritage and made sure he could learn as much as he could. He excelled in his studies and was the top of his class through his years in Spanish Wizarding School. At the end of his fifth year in Wizarding School, Roderigo’s father was given a top job at the Ministry of Magic in England. Much to his reluctance, Roderigo and his mother and father moved to a large penthouse apartment in the heart of London, England.
Text Cut: Aidon Elric (I just copied the one I used for the MoM)
Name: Aidon Bradley Elric
Division: Broom Regulatory Control
Job Title: Senior Broom Supervisor
D.O.B: October 15, 2050
Physical Description: Aidon stands at 5' 10" (1.778m) with sandy blond hair and dark brown eyes. He is fair skinned but has a great complexion. He likes to take care of his body and is in quite good shape.
Background: Aidon was born into a English country family. The Elrics lived in Rutland, England, for most of his childhood, but moved to the bustling city of London when he was ten years old. It was then that Aidon began his education at Hogwarts. When he graduated, he initially held a small muggle business for a couple of years. However, he decided he needed a magical job and applied for a position in the Ministry of Magic. This is his second job at the Ministry.
Education/Training/Experience: Aidon always did well in school. He received top grades on his OWLs and NEWTs. About three years ago, he was given an Unspeakable position in the Department of Mysteries, the Hall of Prophecy Division. Shortly afterward, he was promoted to the Division Head of the Hall of Prophecy.
Personality: Aidon is a leader, and he's always known that. It is because of this that he was so daft at being a Division Head. He is friendly towards everyone, but is slightly pretentious and isn't afraid to show his smarts. Not only that, but he knows how to be a friend, and he is very caring. He is also very diligent, and knows how to plan and work accordingly to get the job done.

The unknown island lays silent, the palm trees swaying in the gentle ocean breeze as their shadows fan out across the sand. The white, clean sand is stationary and the rocks near the shore, glistening with saltwater, shine under the bright sun. It seems as if the isle has been waiting for centuries, possibly milleniums, to welcome its first guests to its shores.
Theodore Dumble's bags had been packed and, clutching a rusty teapot, he had closed his eyes, his body shaking with anticipation. He was attending the quidditch world cup! Letting his grasp release the handle of the old pot, he let himself fall through the nothingness, the wind whooshing through his curly hair as he fell to the ground. The landing on his bum had been surprisingly softer than he had expected. Putting his hands on the ground to help himself stand, they grasped sand rather than dewy grass. Blinking his eyes open, they narrowed as they surveyed the landscape. Something had gone wrong. Something had gone very wrong. Theo wasn't in England anymore.
"Kipling, Alfred Amadeus." The tall, lean Brit stood in front of the mirror admiring his own reflection. His bedroom was completely immaculate, save for the manky old boot slash portkey that lay on the carpet. Taking his right hand to pat down any flyaways that he noticed on his blonde head, Amadeus turned from his mirror and strode over to his bed, where his luggage lay. His blue eyes quickly scanned his trunk and, finding that all was in order, even his hair care potions, he flipped the lid shut with a 'clunk.' A wave of his wand locked the trunk and he levitated it to stand next to the portkey. Bouncing over to the two objects, he grabbed the portkey in one hand and his leather trunk in the other. Within a minute, he had disappeared from the room and was flying, flying in space, until...
THUD. His feet had landed on... was this a rock? The smell of saltwater soured his sense and, looking about, Deus had landed on none other than a large flat, black rock on the shore. The waves lapped up, threatening to dampen his expensive shoes. He scuttled off onto the sand, utterly confused.
"Oof!" In the midst of all of the commotion now happening on the island's shore, many people didn't noticed the gingery newcomer with the bowtie. Gingy had landed on the sand bum first and looking up, squinting into the sun, he took a moment to process everything. Hopping up, he looked around before exclaiming, "What the devil is going on here? I demand to see the Minister!" He stamped his right foot on the sand, which only caused a cloud of dust to rise into his disgruntled face.
Chris Potter had left the Courtroom inthe bowels of the Ministry early that day with the rest of the Ministry of Magic World Cup ticket holders and hurried home to grab his bags before Apparating to the Portkey site. He was so surpised when his boss, Mr. Frederick, a wizard on the Wizenagmont gave up his tickets to him, a mere assistant but the twenty-four year old jumped on the opportunity and was ready for the match. When he reached the site, Chris grabbed firmly onto the old umbrella and felt himself being pulled into nothing and landing....hard on sand. Ummmmm....this was definately not the Cup site. "Ummm Hello anyone there??!?" he shouted looking towards....an ocean. Damn.
Of course Riley was going to the Quidditch World cup. His family had gone to everyone in his memory and this would be no excuse, especially since his face would be on some of the adverts this time. That was right, the new face of 'Stick-it Quick' Melrose Wizarding Hair Gel was going to arrive very soon. Sinclair had arrived at the modeling agency and insisted that he travel by his own Portkey rather than share with one of the other people in the room so after taking the first one available, the newly graduated Hogwarts student on the rise to stairdom took the jump into limbo.
He landed on his feet, eyes closes and in a pose ready for the paparazzi....it was definately bright, he could see the light through his eyelids and the warmth on his face, but no flashes and it was too quite. He opened his eyes and saw no one....wait one bloke shouting for someone. "Oh bloody fantastic."
Syndey had packed all her things in her office at Wenlock university, well at least the things she would need for this trip; muggle gossip magazines, make-up clothes, and a few pieces of chocolate of course. She had ordered a Portkey from the Ministry to take her to the camp grounds early and had reached the site on the grounds where she would take hold of the old goblet and was whisked....
"A beach? Well isn't this nice." she said perkily as she began to walk around to look for the check-in wizard.

Alfie was ready. She was so ready for the Quidditch World Cup, there was no doubt about it. All morning, she'd been practically bouncing up and down on her heels, hardly able to contain her joy. She'd been looking forward to it for quite a while, ever since school got out. She'd heard some of her friends would be there, people she hadn't seen at all in the last month. She ate her breakfast hurriedly before grabbing her small suitcase, starting towards her front door only to find her parents waiting there for her. "Well, bye," she said with a soft chuckle, a large smile on her expression out of excitement.
"Have fun," her father instructed, though his expression seemed to contradict it. "Don't get lost," he added. Alfie gave a nod. "Have you cleaned your room?" Nod. "Made the bed?" Nod. "Jay's cage fixed?" Nod. It continued like this for a while before she finally made her way out of the house, after receiving a new pair of sunglasses from her mother, kissing them both on the cheek, and darting out the door. The blonde gave a soft sigh, a warm smile on her pale expression, before she bent over and picked up the rusty fork out on her front porch, immediately being pulled towards what she assumed to be the World Cup.
That was, until she found herself covered in sand. "D'oh!" the girl let out as she collided with the ground, right on her bum of course. Since when was the Cup on sand?! She glanced up from her spot, her large blue eyes squinted in the bright sunlight. Wait...when did the cup relocate to...an island? Her gaze found the shoreline, following the sound of waves crashing. Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no. This was most definitely not the World Cup. Her smile had vanished entirely as she got to her feet, her fork-portkey now abandoned on the warm sand, her blonde eyebrows furrowed. "Hello?" she called softly, still in slight shock from the sudden change of atmosphere.

The note was on the kitchen table, the doors were locked, the windows were closed, she had her wand, and her portkey was waiting for her by the giant rock. Ellie stepped off of her porch and walked toward the sea where the giant black rock stood. Spotting the old lampshade, she pulled out her pocket watch. With a minute to spare, Ellie took a final long breath of Ireland air, the salty air entering her nose. She couldn't believe she was going to the Quidditch World Cup. Her mother had strongly disagreed, considering her worsening sickness and the condition she was in. But Ellie would only be gone for a couple days. A little quidditch never did anybody any harm.
Ellie bent over a bit and grabbed hold of the lampshade and within seconds, a force lifted her up and she felt herself spinning through space. She landed with a nice thud in a crouching position. And for a second, it seemed as though she hadn't left Ireland at all. She was on the sand again... On a beach... She looked around, but there was nothing but sand, palm trees and the vast, never ending ocean. Last time she checked, the game wasn't set to be on a deserted island. Although anyone would be happy about being on a hot, wonderful island, Ellie knew something had gone wrong.
"This isn't good."

Now, Braeden Stonem wasn't really the kind of person you'd expect to find at the Quidditch World Cup. He couldn't tell the difference between the Keeper and the Beater, and games' silly rules and scoring math always fried out his brain. He'd much rather watch a nice film, ever the movie buff.
But.
His friends would be here. And he couldn't pass up this opportunity to see the whole gang again, off school grounds. Especially his boyfriend Deus.
Pulling on a baseball cap on his lion's mane as he stood in the middle of the living room being watched by the family he'd just said 'see you later!' to, Braeden reached out to the old hairbrush that was supposed to take him to the game. These portkey rides always made him nauseous, but he was too excited to care right now.
Just a moment later, the cowardly lion found himself falling clumsily onto the ground, like a rag doll, landing face-down and hitting the side of his face with the burning hot sand. Oh, thank MERLIN this is sand! What if he had landed on concrete or something?! WHEW! HA. Luck must be on his side! This is going to be a GOOD day! Grinning to himself with relief like the big doof he was, Braeden got up to his feet and brushed the sand off his face and clothes. Nice sand, reminded him of last summer at Ferdinandea. Oh, the sand there was so soft...
…
…..
………. SAND?!
Brae's eyes went wide as saucers.
WAIT A MINUTE, WHY was he standing on sand?! Wasn't he supposed to be on… grass or something?! OH MY GOD, there was a whole ocean ahead of him! WHAT?!?!??! Oh, crap. Oh crap, oh crap… He teleported to the wrong place. The wrong place. The WRONG place! GAHHHHHH.
Braeden collapsed to his knees and threw his arms in the air… "NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
Maybe he was being a little dramatic, but this really sucked.

What the...? Holy galloping Hippogriffs! Sydney rushed over to a young boy who was screaming to the Heavens obviously upset about something. She approached him and saw that he was hysterical, he might have been a local, what if she couldn't sepak his language.
She noticed his tan skin and beautiful mane of hair hidden shamefully under a basball cap. He must have been a local...they never were good with fashion. At least nothing like the celebrities she saw in her muggle magaizines. Oooh maybe he was a Cabana boy? He was cute. "There there," she said dropping her purse to the sand and kneeling down beside him, touching excitly rubbing his shoulders kindly. "WHAT'S. THE. MAT-TER?!" what? She wasn't sure if he spoke english or not.

Braeden was so hysterical and disappointed and depressed and all-over miserable at that moment, that he began to have hallucinations of a woman rubbing his shoulders in a way that actually felt quite relaxing.
Oh, woe is me!
Whyyyyy did this stuff have to happen to him? You'd think he'd be used to it by now, but not really.
And then the woman he was hallucinating began to yell into his ear. It was at that moment that Braeden realized she wasn't a hallucination, but a real life person! A person! This… this meant… he wasn't alone! Once again, the boy's brown eyes went wide.
Wait, but why was she yelling at him like he was mentally challenged? Hmm. "I… I'm lost," confessed the Gryffindork, sounding like a little boy who'd just been dropped off in the middle of the forest and left to die. "I was… I took a portkey, and… I was supposed to be at the game! But… I'm here instead!" he went on, his arms gesturing toward the endless amounts of sand and ocean surrounding them.
Brae noticed the woman was still massaging his shoulders and gave her a small awkward smile before scooting away a bit so he had his personal space back. "Do you live here?" Maybe she could tell him where he was and help him out!

Continuing to rub the poor young man's shoulders, Sydney wasn't sure why she continued to do so...just something to do? Then the boy talked! He talked! "You can talk?!" she shreiked excitedly and bounced where she kneeled, gitty again that she indeed had found someone who could fan her on the beach who spoke English. She knew the people at the Ministry wouldn't have booked the World Cup at a beach and not at least had a staff of a well-equipped resort! "Well of course you speak, but you speak English!" she said begining to talk quickly and then she embraced him in a tight hug. Pulling back only when he mentioned he was lost....
She pulled him back, her hands holding onto the sides of his head, "What are you talking about? The resort you work for is right over there right?" she said shaking his head back and forth, such a silly Cabana boy. She turned to look over her shoulder....and there was no one, no resort no beach chairs, no Quiddicth World Cup. "No I don't live here!" she said a bit scared now. What were they going to do? Wait...they? She was with this boy now....things would be cool. "No, no, no. You aren't lost anymore. We can be lost together!" She said excitedly!

ALSKFHSKDLH!
Braeden could feel his brain bouncing around in his skull as the woman who'd been massaging him earlier began to shake his head like she was playing the maracas. "AaaAaAaaAaAAAaaahhh…."
WHAT?! 'The resort you work for'?! What in Merlin's beard was she talking about?! Or maybe she'd just shaken his head so much that his brain wasn't registering words correctly anymore. Surely he must've heard wrong… "Wha-- I don't-- what-- what resort?!" And then she was confirming she didn't live in the island. Well, at this rate Brae was beginning to believe she lived in Jupiter instead! He massaged the side of his head and watched as the giddy woman now began to cheer about the idea of being lost. Together.
Why did that thought cause a shiver to run down his spine?
"Aahh… ye--yeah… together… heh… hahah..." Slowly, the boy got back up to his feet. He stared at the woman shamelessly for a moment before realizing he was being a jerk. Oh! He offered her his hand (assuming she'd been sitting on the sand beside him this whole time).

Theodore almost fell over, after propping himself up, when he notice who else had arrived. "R-Riley?" He looked into toward the boy, who could have been a mirage. Did islands have mirages? No, those were deserts! Either way, it was bloody hot! The American-Brit could already feel the skin cancer seeping into his epidermis. Taking a few steps over to the boy, his feet not used to sand, he waddled before reaching him. Many other people had started to arrive, but many were indistinguishable from one another. This only made Theo wonder if the Cup was supposed to be held here. But it couldn't be. Looking around before turning to his former tormentor, he asked, "Do you know what's going on, by any chance?" It was a lame question, but feasible nonetheless.

With a pop and a screech, none other than Tay-Tay Momsen had landed on the shore of the beach. On all fours, no less. Her designer handbag dangled from her shoulder as her long, manky blonde hair flew about her face in the wind. She clumsily rose to her feet, her 7-inch leather boots giving her more trouble than they were worth.
Adjusting the large, beetle-like sunglasses on her pointed face, she looked around to find a timid-looking girl beside her. She was blonde and rather short although Taylor's shoes contributed to the height difference. "You!" She snapped as she tossed her crayon portkey into the ocean behind her. "Did the location of the match change? Is this a layover? I-need-answers!" She had clapped her hands together for each word that she spoke of her last sentence, indicating that she meant business. It was only now that she realized that her fishnets had attracted sand during her miraculous fall on the shore. A stream of swear words colored the air as she attempted to dig it out, simultaneously scratching herself with her long, fake black nails.

Amadeus had been walking up the shore. Many more people had begun to arrive; some disgruntled children were crying while others were enjoying the mishap, making sandcastles or running to the water.
Gingy, his lustrous hair seeming to attract the sun, felt a burning sensation on his head. Ducking for cover, he ran to the shade of the nearest palm, when... COULD IT BE?!
"Cabana boy!" He clapped his hands together, as a gesture to make him hurry over. "I'm in need of assistance." There was a moment of silence while the boy did nothing at all. "I'll need a hat and a tropical drink. Put it on my tab, please." He crossed his arms, tapping his foot impatiently on the sand. It was only now that he noticed the familiar face by the cabana boy.
"Professor Foster?" He exclaimed, his eyes wide as his jaw dropped. Dropping his arrogance momentarily, he scampered over to meet one of his old, favorite professors. "Are you staying at the resort, too?" He asked, his old weasel-like smile that he wore as a student now back on his lips. Leaning forward with his hands clasped behind his back, in a whisper, he muttered, "I think this employee is a bit daft. Have you had any luck with him?"

Quidditch World Cup? Count her in. The blonde Malfoy sped out the door with her bags after saying good bye to her parents. "Make sure you are back by the end of the week for Trixie's wedding!" hollered her mother. Emma nodded and replied sying of course and continued walking. She was going to the Quidditch World Cup with her friends, which was amazing. Emma was excited- no more than excited, esctatic. Two awesome things put together. Could the blonde stop smiling? Walking towards the candlestick, she placed her hand on it and hummed to herself as the candlestick sped away to its destination. It spun quicker and quicker and quicker.
The brown eyes blinked a couple of times, trying to adjust to the harsh sunlight. Her head hurt a lot. "Merlin's Beard," she muttered, as she rubbed her sore head. The pottier ride was rougher than it should have been. Had she passed out? The blonde slowly inche her way up. Looking up at the sky, the blonde saw that it was sunny and bright. No. Weather couldn't have caused the bumpy ride. Where was she? Emma took a quick glance about her and saw all the palm trees about. Was the Quidditch Cup supposed to be in a paradise place? No it wasnt... Hmmm... Looking down at her feet, she saw white sand. Sand? What? Impossible. The blonde bit her lip and stared out at the never ending sea. "Where am I?" she muttered. Lost.
Then she heard a scream. The scream echoed throughout the island and sent shivers down Emma's back. "Who's there? Are you all right?" she cried as she walked towards a palm tree and leaned against the trunk. "Ellie? Alfie?" she asked trying to think of who screamed.

It was only now that she realized that her fishnets had attracted sand during her miraculous fall on the shore. A stream of swear words colored the air as she attempted to dig it out, simultaneously scratching herself with her long, fake black nails.
Alfie only had a total of about two seconds to gaze at the shore utterly confused, dread growing in the pit of her stomach, when she was soon accompanied by another person. Her blue eyes widened and she jumped just slightly at the sudden appearance of another girl on an island she had presumed to be deserted. Trying to control her rapid heartbeat, Alfie turned to the girl with wide blue eyes, only then able to see more figures behind her, indistinguishable but seeming to be popping up in the same way she just had. Portkeys. Before she had much time to figure out what was happening, this very tall, very blonde girl was speaking to her; no, demanding things from her.
Alfie's eyebrows rose, listening as she asked if the match had been relocated or if there was a lay-over, before quickly growing distracted with sand in her...fishnets? and letting out a stream of curse words. "I-I know just as little as you do," the blonde assured her, large blue eyes the size of saucers as they often were. What was going on here? "Are you...Are you here for the match?" she asked softly, her voice rather weak in comparison to the taller girl's more demanding one.

It was then that she heard her own name being called by a very familiar voice...Emma?
"Emma?" she called back enthusiastically, thrilled to find a familiar voice. She whipped around only to find the blonde leaning against a tree trunk. "Emma!" she said once more, grateful to find someone she knew in this chaos, her face lighting up as relief spread through her.

Smiling brightly, and batting her eyelashes, Sydney allowed the boy to help her up. "So strong, that will be good to help us out here in the wilderness." She would forget to mention that she grew up travling in the wilderness with her parents and was currently employees as a Care of Magical Creatures Professor at a University--she was clearly not going to give up her woman in distress oportunity that easily. "So if you aren't a Cabana boy, then what's your name? I'm Sydney Foster." she said reaching out a hand to shake his, her left, wiggling her empty ring finger.
Well knowing that they were lost on this island alone together would have frightened most people, but Sydney really did need a break from Wenlock University so many people all the time, almost none of them cute and now she had one good-looking boy to be lost with. Never having to run classes, always having someone fun to talk to, laying out by the ocean, getting a tan,......

Damnit!
A familiar voice became audible behind him and pulled Sydney out of her paradise state of mind. It was a blasted student! If she woke up and was in her office, SHE. WAS. GOING. TO. FLIP.
The woman turned around and saw Gingy. "What is it Gingy can't you see I am a little busy at the moment?!" she said through clenched teeth. Wait, why was he here? "What are you doing here anyways?" and then he was talking about the Cabana boy?
Oh see she wasn't the only one confused here. "Oh we are lost, it turns out the Quidditch World cup isnt here!" she said with a grin and a bubbly laugh, giving the now-found-out not Cabanda boy a hug.

Removing his sunglasses lamely and holding them in his left hand, Riley wasn't sure what to do. There was sand and sea salt and ocean everywhere. He was NOT going to go tredging through all of this to get the Quidditch World Cup site. What idiot planned it here in the first place. He was going to have to have a word with Judy his agent telling her they needed to research this sort of thing before they started sending him out into the Public unprepared.
So the boy just stood there, waiting for someone to rescue him. Oh look a fan! HE stood up straghter and grinned as the boy approached. "Yes, yes it is me Riley Sin--" oh he knew that kid. "Oh hey Dumble." he said flatly. "Of course I know what's going on, I thought Claws were smart?" He said waving a hand in the air. "We are at the Quidditch World Cup, aint' the sand just grand?" he said saracasm dripping off of his words.

Giving his room one last fleeting look around his room, Roderigo snapped his trunk closed and heaved it in front of the door to his room. He had just completed his seventh and last year of magical education, the last two were completed while he attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And to top it all off, Britain was hosting the Quidditch World Cup. He could not believe how fortunate he was to have moved to Great Britain, finished his magical career, and score tickets to the match. Walking quickly over to his dresser mirror, the tall, fair-skinned boy stood there, staring at his reflection. His curly, brown hair was an exotic mess, but there was nothing he could do about that. Giving a quick run through his hair with his hand, Roderigo turned around and sighed. He was sure he had packed everything he needed, and, with a quick glance at his watch, he had ten minutes to make it to his portkey.
He began dragging his immensely heavy trunk down the stairs when he suddenly remembered something. Of course, he was no longer an underage wizard, and could therefore perform magic in his own home. He pulled out his wand, brandished it, and his trunk silently began to hover. Smiling, the Spaniard walked downstairs and opened the front door. He had already made his goodbyes to his madre and padre; they were vacationing in Australia (it was at Roderigo's protest that he stayed in Britain for the World Cup instead of traveling with his parents). He reached for the doorknob, turned it, and swung the door open. He lowered his trunk after he made it outside, making a soft thud as it touched the ground. With one last wave of his wand, he pointed it towards the front door.
"Colloportus" he said, and the door softly closed and locked itself.
Holding onto his trunk, Roderigo checked his watch. He had thirty seconds. He looked to his right and saw a broken garden gnome that lied there, broken and dirty. It began to glow a subtle blue as it was nearly time for it to work as the portkey. The Spaniard gave one last glance at his home, reached forward, and place his free hand on the face of the broken gnome.
He instantly felt the all too familiar sensation of being hooked around the navel and throttled forward. He rushed through the howling wind and mixture of beautiful colors, his trunk painfully swinging ferociously against his legs. As soon as it happened, it stopped. The Spaniard fell through the air and landed into slightly warm water. A loud thud indicated that his trunk landed on the beach. It took a few seconds before Roderigo came to his senses, and swam up to the surface. He reached it, and gasped for air as he looked around at where he was. He was in the ocean, a few feet away from a magnificent looking island.
It was hard to swim back; the waves kept pulling Roderigo back and spraying the salty and tangy sea foam into his mouth and eyes. After a few minutes, he managed to pull himself onto the shore. Exhausted, he fell to the sand next to his trunk, his immense curls now soaked with water and obscuring his vision. But it was too hot to stay idle, and, with reluctance, the Spaniard boy stood up, his entire left side covered in grainy sand. Forgetting about his trunk, Roderigo began wondering around the shoreline, wondering where in the world he could be and why he hadn't gone to the Quidditch Cup.

After twenty minutes of wondering, Roderigo was hopeless. His portkey had malfunctioned and he was all alone. But then, he could see the blurry image of two people. As the salty wind blew against him, Roderigo ran up to the two people, ecstatic to see someone else on the isle. As he got closer, he realized, with even more happiness, that one of the people was actually his dear friend, Amadeus Kipling. He was accompanied by a woman Roderigo had never met before. But he didn't care, there were other people here.
"Deus!" he croaked. His clothes were still damp, for the humidity forbade him from completely drying, and his hair was frayed and disgusting looking. "What's going on?" He cried.

The heat of the sun was pounding down on her, and although it felt nice, she couldn't really enjoy it in her confusion. She used a hand to block out some sunlight out of her eyes and searched around for a familiar face. She saw many people looking as confused as her. Ellie was pretty sure the World Cup wasn't supposed to be here. Suddenly, she felt a shadow cover her and she looked to see a tall, lean figure crouching next to her. How did he know her name? It took Ellie's eyes a moment to adjust, but when they did... "Wha- Oh! Deus!" She exclaimed. She almost had the urge to hug him, but she didn't. They had only met once or twice before when he had broke her fingers. "Do you know exactly what's going on here?" She asked, scanning the island again.

After kissing Medea goodbye and wishing her luck with the children, Mason stepped outside of his home in London and found the rusty old watering can in the middle of his yard. He gave one last goodbye wave before he was sucked up into the air, spinning madly. He landed smoothly.... Except for the fact that his feet felt... wet? Mason took in his surroundings and saw a sandy island in front of him, covered in palm trees. Okay, his feet were definitely wet. He looked down to see himself standing in a foot of water. He looked behind him and saw an endless ocean. "What the hell is going on?" He mumbled to himself.
Just then he heard a scream and another voice call out. He looked around to see where it was coming from and saw a small blonde girl calling out. He recognized her as the Malfoy girl he had met on twitter, just as she called out Ellie's name. Ellie... Johanson?! Mason jogged out of the water as it splashed behind him and went over to the Malfoy who was leaning up against a tree. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked, warily.

Merlin's Beard- she was going to be burnt to a crisp out her without any sunblock. The blonde was probably all alone on the island with that screaming monster. Shudder. Fate had funny ideas about trying to get back at her for previous errors that the Malfoy's had made in the past. Perfect......
And then she heard someone calling her name back. YAY!! She wasnt alone!! It was either Ellie or Alfie? And she looked over to see that it was Alfie. ALFIE!!! Emma sighed. The Malfoy was relieved to see a fellow Hogwarts student. "Alfie. Are you okay? Not hurt?" she asked, walking towards her. The blonde saw another woman with Alfie... So who was she? "Did you hear that scream?" she asked, her warm brown eyes glancing back and forth from seashore to the palm tree before meeting Alfie's. Was there some monster out there?
