James grew up in England his whole life, never completely understanding why everyone seemed to know his relatives and parents. He just figured it was because his mother used to play professional Quidditch, and his father was head Auror.
When he first arrived at Hogwarts was when he found out the shocking truth. His family all had vital roles in the downfall of a dark wizard named Lord Voldemort. He confronted his parents about it and then didn’t speak to them for weeks. When they came to talk to him about it, there was a hallmark card moment and he promised not to tell his siblings about it, and when they finally found out at Hogwarts, he calmed them down.
He became Quidditch captain in his 5th year, and ever since then led Gryffindor to win every Quidditch Cup. He plays chaser and is brilliant at it, brilliant enough that he is joining a professional Quidditch team once he graduates.
When he found out about Lily being pregnant, he was angry to say the most, almost ready to pound the face in on her boyfriend. He is protective over his younger siblings and family, and won’t hesitate to defend them.
James has a knack for interfering in others lives, and is usually pretty blunt about things. He has poor timing and loves being mischievous, and teasing his siblings. He has good grades, just doesn’t usually try or make an effort. He can hold a grudge, especially when it comes to his family.
