Looking back at Rex she decided not to scare the boy away from Kay yet to just tell him how they met, that was a pretty safe story. "I first met Kay at school. Looking around at where she was and now knowing who Kay's cousins were she understood why Kay felt the way she did when they first met. Most people knew that the Potters didn't have a great relationship with Slytherins, especially the Malfoys. Although Marie's name wasn't Malfoy, she was proud to be one herself. She just hoped that once Kay found out who her family was they would still be able to be friends.

She just stood there listening as Kay told everyone about her crazy stunt she pulled last term. 'And the girl wonders why her life is the way it is, she doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut.'

Marie couldn't believe what she had just said but it was what she felt. Kay needed to get on with her life and stop living in the past.

Marie looked back at Kay hoping she wasn't about to lose a friend just beause of who her family was. She did love her family, even her grandpa Draco, who had always been kind and loving towards her. But she also liked having Kay as a friend, even if she was an emotional wreck at times.

" My grandmother is Hermoine Grainger Weasley and the grandfather is Ron Weasly. ,y mother is Orinda Evans and father is Hugo Weasley" Jason finished explaining his family to Marie. " Your turn Rex " Jason said to him. " Well, I just found out today that my father happened to also be Victoria's father and he keft both of our mothere" Rex started explaining his family history to Marie and Kay. " My mother loved Katalin's parents, the Trigwells so she made my last name Trigwell " Rex told them both. " I have been brought up to be proper, had been homeschooled and got my letter from Hogwarts" Jason told the girls.

Looking back at Kay she really wanted to hear it from her that it was okay for her to stay. Sure, this was Jason's house but even if he said she could stay she wouldn't if Kay didn't want her to.

They are always there for me when I need them and I never have to worry about needing anything because they always make sure I have what I want or need." Carolyn gave a small gasp, "You and Jaime were engaged!?" she asked, before shaking her head. Wow, the things you miss when you lose contact with family. She felt even worse now, knowing she wasn't there for her cousin.


Delilah was about ready to turn and leave, convinced this was a bad idea, when the door opened and there stood Jason. He welcomed her into his home formally but she stood frozen. She wanted to hug him but wasn't sure how he would react so she remained stony. "Jason, it's good to see you." she said softly, giving a small half smile.
