Personality: Harry is exceedingly courageous and fiercely loyal to and protective of his loved ones. Background: Harry is the only child of Lily and James Potter, who both died over a year after his birth on the evening of October 31st, when Voldemort arrived at the Potters’ home to murder them due to a prophecy that had been made by Sybill Trelawney. Harry would have died as well if it had not been for his mother’s sacrifice. Her love protected him and caused Voldemort’s curse to backfire, bringing about his first defeat (this is also what gave Harry the lightning bolt scar on his forehead). Harry was then sent to live with his aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. For ten years, he had no knowledge of how his parents died or of the Wizarding World itself until he received his Hogwarts letter from Rubeus Hagrid on his eleventh birthday. When he attended Hogwarts, he was sorted into the Gryffindor house and became lifelong best friends with Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. He was recruited onto the Quidditch team in his first year as Seeker, remained on the team throughout his Hogwarts years, and was named Captain this year, his sixth year. Also throughout his Hogwarts years, Harry has had to deal with Lord Voldemort in various forms and somehow managed to escape mostly unscathed each time.

History:
Hermione Granger grew up not knowing the magical world existed - as a kid she attended her local primary school and even there she held exemplary grades and was top of her class while attending. At the age of eleven she recieved her Hogwarts letter - two weeks into what would have been her sixth year in muggle primary school.

She was named Valedictorian of her graduating primary school class - upon graduation she informed the near by secondary school she would be attending an exclusive boarding school in Scotland for the rest of her school years. Her parents, when she was accepted were proud of her - because they being her parents considered her to be extrordianary - and now they had a way to proove she was as extrodinary as they believed she was.

At the age of eleven she went to Hogwarts, where she met Harry Potter - a name she had familiarized herself with by reading not only Hogwarts a History but pretty much all of her History of Magic (to date) books where she found out about the boy who surrvived the killing curse - this intrigued her because he afterall, was a baby and was around her age - not only that. There was little information of what happened to him after surviving. She also met pureblood wizard Ron Weasley while on the train. Hermione figured out how to get into the barrier of platform 9 3/4 because of her extensive knowledge of the Hogwarts, A History books and watching other students walk through a brick wall. She was placed into the Gryffindor house where she became friends with not only Ron and Harry, but she was close friends with Neville Longbottom, Dean Thomas, Fred & George Weasley - even though their pranks annoyed her. She is the person in charge of the SPEW a club named thus for the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare.

She isn't afraid to break rules and punch someone in the face if they call her a Mudblood. Its a very derogatory term after all.

Personality: Hermione is a very complex person, almost impossible to describe in simple terms. She is kind to those who treat her with respect - but she is tough on those who are not respectful of her (i.e Malfoy). She hides emotions most of the time because she doesn't want to be hurt, she's strong willed, passionate, very intelligent and this can rub off as being a know-it-all but she's kind, compassionate, understanding, somewhat-outgoing and she doesn't really care what people think of her. If they want to follow her for three days to get her to go to the yule ball with her she might just snap and finally agree to go with them, if it makes them stop following her. She's got a care-free rule-following spirit when it comes to rules that should be followed, she's very tenative, thurough, and likes to get all the informaiton she can about every possible outcome before jumping into things.

She won't use magic as an out all the time she actually reads the assignments and does the work - she wouldn't use a book with cheats in it because she feels thats an unfair advantage.

Personality: Overall, Remus is very intelligent, good-natured, level-headed, and tolerant. He tries to see the good in everyone and is usually very forgiving. He has a pretty good sense of humor and likes to have fun with his friends, though he doesn’t always agree with their idea of “fun” (namely their bullying other students, especially Severus Snape). For this he’s regarded by a lot of the professors as the mature one of the Marauders. He doesn’t always want to get close to people because he fears that they might find out he’s a werewolf and reject him.
Background: Remus was born on March 10, 1960, to Mr. and Mrs. Lupin. When he was very young, his father somehow insulted the werewolf Fenrir Greyback, which resulted in Remus being turned into a werewolf as well by him. His parents tried to find a cure or even just a treatment that would prevent the transformation every month, but nothing was available. Because of this, he almost did not attend Hogwarts at the age of eleven, but Headmaster Albus Dumbledore encouraged him to become a student there. He did and was sorted into the house of Gryffindor. To make sure he didn’t harm any students during his monthly transformations, he was sent to a shack that was built outside of Hogsmeade that could only be reached by a secret passage from Hogwarts. Remus soon became friends with James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew, but he kept the secret of his being a werewolf, fearing they would desert him if they knew. They eventually figured it out, but, to Remus’s surprise, they didn’t leave him. Instead, they began studying to become Animagi so they could be with him during his transformations, finally accomplishing it in their fifth year. Also, over the years, he and the other three created the Marauder’s Map and gave themselves nicknames based on the animal they transformed into. Remus was also made a prefect in his fifth year.
