Harrison comes from an incredibly wealthy family, but the Ramsdens didn’t get there without hard work. Unlike a good number of his friends, their money wasn’t just given to them through inheritance. His grandfather made good money eventually through rising in the ranks in the marines. For the later part of his grandfather’s life, he was known by many as just “Captain,” hence Harrison’s middle name. Brad, after getting through UT Austin with a BA degree in Business, used his education and natural knack for business to become an entrepreneur. In the middle of starting his business he met the lovely Noelle Graham in Boston. They dated for three years while she finished up all of wizard and university schooling and while he stabilized his finances. Finally, they were married in Boston, had Harrison when Brad was 31 and Noelle 27. They tried for a second child for a while, but it seemed hopeless. However, a whopping 11 YEARS later, SURPRISE! They had Finley, Harrison’s little sister and little pride and joy.
The Ramsden parents raised Harrison with incredibly high (though attainable) expectations. They taught southern generosity and the proper manners and skills that they thought necessary for someone of their class and status. While they are harsh, their expectations and standards have made Harrison what he is today while still making plenty of room for the fun and entertaining parenting side. Harrison adores his family, particularly his little sister. That girl means the world to him and he would do anything just to see her happy.
He originally grew up in Boston because that’s where Noelle is from and where the large majority of the DAR members are. Yes, Noelle is a proud member of the DAR and was incredibly upset to be leaving that group behind, though there are some in Texas. But Brad wanted to move back to Texas and expand his business, which actually ended up being a great move on his part.
All of this was the norm for Harrison until he reached the young age of 18. He had been dating Tatiana Yurkovich for almost three years when he found out that she was pregnant at the age of 17. His parents were… furious, to put it lightly, as were Tatiana’s. His mother, because it wasn’t how she had raised him. Very “un-gentlemanly” to get a girl pregnant! And his father because “how could he be so careless?? He threw his whole future out the window with one careless mistake!” It just added to their anger that he and Tatiana intended to keep the child. At first, they weren’t going to help. Harrison was going to have to put on his big boy pants and figure things out on his own. However, once their son was born, Noelle couldn’t help but want to be there for the two. And what came another year after the birth of their first child? Another pregnancy! Now, the two are married and have two teenagers, a seven year-old boy named Ty and a five-year-old girl named Melody. Tatiana blames Harrison for it all and well, they had a ton of issues for the first few years, but they stuck it out and are definitely better off than they were. It’s certainly not a perfect marriage, but they do love each other and they love their kids.
You Can’t Judge this Book by his Cover
People typically hear Harrison’s light though ever-present southern accent, hear where he’s from, and recognize his incredibly athletic ways and automatically peg him as a typical stupid jock and country boy, but he’s actually quite to the contrary. While, yes, Harrison is 100% boy with his love for all things sports, hunting, and camping, that’s not what makes his personality. He is a CITY boy, incredibly classy when it comes to the upper class, and despite what people initially believe, he is really bright. He was a Ravenclaw for Merlin’s sake. He worked very hard in school, but doesn’t flaunt his smarticles. Honestly though, where his real talent and interest lies is in business, like his dad. So, book smart yessss, but common sense smart? Eh. He’s your typical guy, thinking about the fun before he thinks about the consequences. And what has that gotten him (not including sport’s injuries)? Oh about… 9 broken bones? And a kid at the age of 18. Harrison likes to live life on the edge and a lot of times that means not following the rules. He’s had to act with a lot more responsibility though ever since his first kid came along.
Harrison lives in a black and white world. That’s really how he sees things when it comes to right and wrong. There’s very little that’s gray to him, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t often choose to do the wrong thing.
He’s very social but doesn’t make a point to talk to everyone in a room and maybe that’s part of why there are a lot of people who don’t like him. He comes off as arrogant and not talking to certain people just enforces that. That and he always tended to hang out with the more “popular” crowd.
While Harrison often lets his arrogance get in the way, allowing rude or demeaning comments to come out of his mouth before he thinks them through, he really is a good guy. He doesn’t like hurting people and has more of a bark than a bite. If he realizes that he’s hurt a person he’ll suck it up and apologize, at least to get any guilt off his chest. Unfortunately it tends to happen often. The good news: he is patient, but the bad news: he has a bad temper if you manage to fire down his incredibly long fuse.

Bio: Felicia was born into riches beyond anyones wildest dreams. By the time she was a teenager she had done just about everything you can do with money but she was not a a happy young lady, not in the least. She was a metamorphagus on her mothers side and she used to transform herself into a stunning young lady but that got her nothing but stuck up full of themselves rich guys who did not care a lick about her. It was at that time she decided to try something different, she morphed herself into a rather stange looking loung lady and she was looking to find people to accept her for who she is and not what she looks like. Tatiana was raised like anyone would expect a pureblood girl to be raised. She was constantly under watch by her parents, spoiled (to a certain degree of course), she was also raised thinking she was better than the rest. She had always thought of that, causing her to have the image of a spoiled, stuck up, stereotypical pureblood brat. But this wasn't true. Because of the way she was raised, she often felt lonely; most people she hung out with, her parents disapproved of. Entering Hogwarts was what really changed her views.
In Hogwarts there was every type of person imaginable, allowing her to be exposed to a more diverse community. Tatiana was sorted into Slytherin (shocker, right? [/sarcasm] ) but some would say she had the heart of a Hufflepuff. Tatiana mingled with everyone, she was always quite social and a bit of a flirt at times (not when she was 10 of course. Don't be a creep). In her fourth year she first started dating the ever so... lovely, Harrison Ramsden. After three years of a steady, committed relationship, the result was... a child. Near the end of her seventh year (luckily) she was impregnated by him. Given, Tatiana was not happy about it, but she couldn't stand the thought of killing an innocent life.
Her parents? Not so happy with the decision. The first reason was because he wasn't pureblood and because she was seventeen. Tatiana (probably because of hormones) ignored them and continued to carry the child. Her parents wished Tatiana would pull her head out of the clouds and be more like her sister Daphne who was 8 years her elder and happily married with one child. And to add to her parents' despair, she had another little one a year after the birth of Joshua. Her parents were not happy and neither was Harrison's... but it was really his fault.
To most people, a look at her will let you know that she's the type of person to insult others, stuck up, prejudiced, annoying and probably the girliest thing ever. But Tatiana is not all those things. She is sweet to most people, she insults those who need it and she was not prejudiced. But she was very girly. She worked as a model for a brief time, three years, before she was pregnant... again. Tatiana was friendly to most people, and generous to many. She disliked seeing people in a poor state, wondering what they had done to do it. Despite what wrong they had done, she does try to help. Some say her generosity will be her downfall but she says at least she's doing a good thing... which was...well... good.
Despite the conditions of her marriage with Harrison, and all the bad things she says about him impregnating her at times, she is in love with him. Their marriage has many flaws but they're working on it. They are married now after all. With four bloody kids.
