Late July, 2076

After a rather crazy year of events at Hogwarts, Matt had moved into his new apartment with the help of a couple people but finally after that was all said and done; it was time to have a housewarming. What better way for that to happen than having a party? Don't forget to follow the rules in his apartment otherwise it won't be a fun party!

After spending the past few days with his brother, Addison was super ready to be meeting Matt's friends since he already got to meet his girlfriend who honestly wasn't scary as he had originally thought she was. "Matt.. when's everyone showing up?" He asked curiously before tossing himself into the couch and setting his feet up on the armrest, he knew that he'd probably hear something about that since when it came to furniture there were the rules just like back home. It was going to be rather interesting to be seeing exactly who these friends were since they were practically all around Matt's age anyway; seriously where were the 9 year olds? Maybe they're all back home dude, you know back in LA and not in London? Well that did make a lot of sense. Sorta.

Between moving in and attempting to actually have a free moment when he could talk to Stella, Matt was happy that the day of the party had finally come because it finally gave him the chance to catch up with friends and basically just show them his new place since not many people were able to come over to the family house back in Los Angeles. Plus this was big, it was the first time that he was living on his own but at least he had Addison and Max with him over the summer so it wasn't like there wasn't some part of home here in London. "I'm not sure Ad but can you just make sure that Max behaves himself? I don't think we need to have him tackling people." It seemed like as soon as he mentioned the dog's name, Max had come running out of the kitchen and tried to tackle him over; the next sound echoing through the living room of the studio apartment was the sound of laughter coming from both the Stevenson brothers. Ah that was entertaining.

Stella knew she didn't have to try to be early to Matt's party, but she'd been driving Talia up a wall with sitting at home hoping it went well. For some reason it weirdly felt like she was helping him actually host the party, and she didn't know why. His brother was there, so she should just be able to enjoy herself. But first, she had to get there, and after Talia walked her to his building, she stepped inside after assuring her sister she could get home alright. She wasn't that far from being of age. Only basically another year, after all. She could manage to get the few blocks between the apartments on her own.

As she arrived at Matt's door, however, she found herself idly twisting the chain of her necklace after knocking. Something told her he'd say she didn't have to, but she didn't want to surprise either him or Addison. Not when she was still really getting to know his little brother. The nervousness abated slightly as she heard the mingled laughter of both brothers from inside. Something funny must have happened, but it remained to see what it was. Either way, it made her feel like everything was going to go fine. Just a simple party, probably mostly with their classmates.

At the sound of knocking at the door, Matt immediately walked over to the door with Max practically charging up behind up; wait.. wasn't Addison supposed to be watching him? "Max.. stay." After he spoke, the dog sat down in front of the door as he opened it; but when he saw exactly who it was, a smile appeared on his lips and then he noticed his dog charging right at Stella. "Hey, sorry about Max there; he just likes you a lot." He chuckled a bit then opened the door further so that she could walk in and not almost get tackled. Maybe he would have to make sure that his dog was on his best behaviour during the whole party since apparently his brother didn't want to look after him anyway.

When he noticed his brother head towards the door and hear who he was talking to, Addison couldn't help but a random kissy face. What? Well Matt was going to kiss Stella, it was a known fact. But before he could figure it out, Max had been at the door. Huh when did that happen? "Max, over here!" He called out as the dog came running back over to him, as much as he would have loved to see someone possibly get tackled over; he knew that his brother wouldn't have been really happy and honestly he didn't want that to happen. Making sure the dog stayed by the couch, he got up and walked over to the door. "Hello Stella, how are you?" Sure she was nice but he might have been a little intimidated by her, she could possibly hex him if she wanted to though that sounded more like his cousin than his brother's girlfriend.

Kyle walked up to Matt's door, her cousins standing right behind her as she moved to knock on the door she noticed Matt was already standing there opening the door for another person. The girl looked pretty - nice - and smart. Most definitely a Ravenclaw by the looks of her. What? She had the right to be prejudiced - Ravenclaws ruled. Well most - maybe not her cousin India - because she had decided to go on a date with the guy from hell.

"Hey Matt! I hope you don't mind I brought my good for nothing cousin" she glared at India "you know India of course...and you know why I called her that - love you hun but stupid really...um, and this is Amelia her sister" she smiled pointing at her cousins in turn.

India flinched when she was called good for nothing yeah she knew Kyle was mad at her for going on a date with him but really a black eye was good enough payment with that wasn't it? And how could she knew he had a girlfriend when she didn't even know the girl.

"Hey Matt, Stella" she smiled nodding at the two of them.

Mia smiled when she saw the dog. Max looked cool, not even waiting to introduce herself. She saw a dog, a cute, fluffy dog, actually she loved all animals. She missed her little collie but this god was HUGE. Like a mountain-thing huge. They didn't have many of them in Australia - Saint-whatever-it-was...but she loved them. They looked gentle and gigantic. Gentle Giants were good giants.

"Hey Buddy" she smiled leaning closer to Max than she should have. Her big wide-eyed smile could possibly scare him but really, a girl ready to pet a dog shouldn't scare it. Unless its a mean dog. And this doggy didn't look mean.

Even though she'd been prepared to wait for a moment, it seemed the laughing hadn't been too distracting. Stella found the door being opened rather quickly, really, and smiled as she saw Matt. Even more so as she saw his brother inside the apartment, past his shoulder and making a face. Typical young boy, but Stella didn't mind. Just as much as she didn't mind the aborted enthusisatic greeting from Matt's puppy. "You know Max doesn't bother me," she said, moving slightly forward into the apartment as the door got held open for her. "And hi," she added, leaning forward slightly to kiss Matt on the cheek, before turning to Addison with a grin. "Hello Addison. I'm quite well. How are you?" The younger boy wasn't going to get away with the faces quite yet, even if she wasn't about to tell Matt. She'd tease Addison for a bit first, since he had to have known she'd seen him.

But before she could get too far into the apartment, she heard others at the door, and turned to see three girls. One of which she remembered from last term at school, and she smiled at her fellow Ravenclaw. "Hi India," she said, before turning to the other two, still smiling. She didn't really recognize either of them, but she figured the one was older. Maybe even closer to Raven's age, although Amelia looked Addison's age. Maybe even her own brother's age, and once again she wished her suggestion to let Carter come visit had been accepted. Maybe over the holidays, or maybe she could even talk her parents and Talia into having Christmas in London.

When he felt Stella kiss his cheek, a slight pink tinge quickly appeared on his face. Wait. Was he blushing? Matt wasn't about to argue that now since it was more than possible anyway. "Oh I know, I just didn't want him to potentially tackle you like the first time you met him." He remembered that and couldn't help but shake his head in amusement, sure that was funny but he wouldn't have been amused if she had gotten hurt. After noticing that his brother had decided to join the conversation, something seemed a little strange there. But he wasn't going to question it since there was some more people to meet and obviously they were all his friends. Dude relax, just because your girlfriend's here doesn't mean there aren't other people to pay attention to.

Huh.. had Stella seen the little kissy face that he was making behind Matt's back? Addison wasn't going to just question that since he doubt that his brother knew about that anyway. "I'm alright, you just missed a story that Matt was telling earlier about things at his old school." Sure change the subject, maybe that would have just made this whole conversation a bit different. Before he could say anything else though, he noticed the other girls at the door and couldn't help but chuckle at the one who looked to be about his age; getting in Max's face like that wasn't the best idea.

When he had saw who was at the door now, Matt couldn't help but smile; seriously this was a good idea to have the party since it meant that he could catch up with people that he hadn't had the chance to see over the past term. "Kyle! It's good to see you!" He quickly gave the former Ravenclaw girl a hug since he had missed her, as strange as she might have been; it was the reason that they had been friends. "So what have you been up to since the last time I saw you?" But when she mentioned the comment about Dia, he couldn't help but chuckle. Honestly it was funny and somewhat true since he had spoken to her about that kid who had been attempting to ask her out, sure he had been a Slytherin but that was no excuse.

"Hello Dia, I think we might need to have a little conversation after about what had happened earlier in the second half of the term." It could wait until later on because he was going to be a good host first off and let everyone mingle before he decided to bring that up. Somehow that should have gone without saying but hey it was still good to bring that up anyway.

As he watched Max practically knock the girl over, Ad couldn't help but laugh again. Hey, he knew by now that the puppy would do that when someone had gotten up in his face but so as long as she wasn't hurt here then it would all be okay. "Max, here boy." He called out and watched the St. Bernard walk back over to him, then he leaned over slightly and offered out his hand to the girl. "Sorry about that, he means no harm though. He's a really friendly dog." Hmm.. was he forgetting something. Call Max over, help the girl up and apologize? Nope, he did all that. Wait! There was still the introduction. "Hi, I'm Addison but my friends just call me Ad." Maybe they would be friends? It would be awessome.

Turning to Stella she smiled, "Hello, I'm Kyleigh Manning - you can call me Kyle" she smiled softly, "I used to be on yearbook with Matt last term" she smiled softly. At-least that'd be a good enough introduction for now? Right? Less awkward than usual. The slight lilt of her accent coming through

Kyle smiled over to Stella and Matt - sure she had just seen Stella giving Matt a kiss on the cheek, the slightly awkward grin that found her lips just stayed there happily. Of course this must be Matt's new girlfriend - new since last term when she'd seen Matt last.

Smiling and hugging him back, she couldn't help but blush suddenly "Well I finally told Simon - in...it was February or March" she admitted running her hand through her hair lazily. "I-um, might still like - wait, shut it Ky. Um. I still like him." She admitted blushing bright pink as she spoke.


India smiled to Stella, nodding over to her. And then Matt commenting on needing to talk to her made her just want to aparate away - but she couldn't aparate because she wasn't seventeen.

"Alright we'll talk - and it was stupid...okay?" She smiled, stepping into the apartment and standing in the corner - she was a little nervous - looking around the room she watched as her little sister was tackled by a very large dog. The laugh that erupted from her lips was pure happiness at its best.

Stepping into the apartment so she wasn't blocking the doorway Kyle smiled over to Matt once more. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to say proper good bye last term..." that little bit of knowledge made her smile, not about missing it. She began to sway in her spot like a little school girl in love - or a kindergartener in love. "Simon told me he looked for me at the end of term feast and the the train home" she smiled giddily. Aww that was good news.

Mia just laughed when the big dog knocked her over, it seemed like he wanted to kiss her or just be friends with her and she didn't mind that. But his breath was ultra-doggy since he was a BIG dog he had more of it. And soon after Max had been called off - ah, his name was Max. His owner the little kid - or his owner's brother, whoever he was introduced himself to her. Righting herself most of the way she took his hand and began standing up.

"Hi Ad, I like your dog - he's friendly." she smiled. Shaking the hand while standing herself up with it - causing herself to go a little wobbly like normal. "I'm Amelia everyone calls me Mia" she smiled over to him.

As the introductions started, Matt couldn't help but notice the awkward grin on Kyle's lips; hmm that was rather interesting. Then again, she didn't know about what had happened over the last term with him which did explain a lot of what was going on here. "I gave yearbook up after you left anyway, it was too much to handle considering I actually wanted to have a social life in between classes. Like that happened, I got massively busy between the dance class, actual classes and homework." At the mention of the dance class, he couldn't help but chuckle; oh that was interesting and kinda uncomfortable at the same time seeing as he hadn't felt like showing that he knew how to dance. But as the subject of what had happened in her life over the past term had come up, he couldn't help but raise his eyebrows in surprise; hadn't he suggested that a couple terms ago when they were people watching in the treehouse? "Excellent to hear! I know that wasn't easy for you, you know people have been asking about.." He didn't finish the sentence because just saying her name had made him frustrated, sure it happened a couple terms ago now but it wasn't cool either way. And anyway she knew exactly what he was talking about without having to explain.

As India had said what had happened was stupid, he obviously agreed with it because he had warned her what would happen if she had went on a date with a guy like that; then again he only knew from the way Raven had acted. Speaking of which, where was she? Apparently running late as usual, then again he wasn't entirely happy to see her since she didn't want to get along with his girlfriend and honestly that wasn't needed.

As Mia had slowly gotten to her feet, Ad noticed his sandal was loose so he attempted to fix it but ended up tripping and the next thing he knew his lips were on his new friend's. "Eww!" Getting back up to his feet, his facial expression turned into somewhat of a grimace since that wasn't good at all; it was totally disgusting. Girls were supposed to be friends, you don't kiss them! Seriously had his brother not heard of the cooties? Apparently not. Wiping his face off, he helped the young girl back up to her feet and looked down at the floor. "S-sorry bout that." An apology was really the best he could do at this point since that was totally awkward.

Nikolas was ready to pay a visit at Matt's new apartment and to start enjoying the vacations properly, not more homeworks or stupid OWLs to do and he wanted to meet his girlfriend, the one that he has heard about. Probably there were going to be some of his classmates or people he didn't knew but he had classes with, funny right? But it was a big school and he couldn't meet everyone so this was a good way to getting to know everyone.

Walking towards the door, Nikolas stopped and wondered if this was Matt's place, what if he was in the wrong apartment? Oh well, who cares? He was going to knock anyways. Knocking twice the door he waited for someone to opened it, meanwhile he turned around his back facing the door to look at the place, it was very nice indeed.

A soft smile had crept onto Stella's face at Matt's reaction to her kiss on the cheek, even as she was still amused by his little brother's obvious belief that all they did was kiss. That was totally not true, especially as she had a feeling Matt was more private than that. She giggled as he had spoken about his puppy, though. "I'm not fragile. Max isn't that much more energetic than Talia's puppy, and I can handle him," she pointed out gently, even though she was still giggling. At least it seemed Addison had gotten distracted by the new arrivals, however, so she lightly kissed his cheek again and whispered, "I appreciate the thought."

She'd stood up straight again by the time Kyle had introduced herself, and smiled at the older girl. She might seem closer to Raven's age, but at least she didn't seem quite as biased against her. Which she liked. "Stella Gardiner. It's nice to meet you Kyle," she said politely, even as she sent Matt a 'you were on yearbook' glance. She hadn't expected to know everything, not yet, but it was certainly interesting. And explained not long afterward, as she got a bit distracted by the accent. "Parlez-vous français?," she asked curiously, as Matt had gone on to mention the events of last term and speak with India for a moment. While Addison had occupied himself with interesting accidents involving India's little sister. She hadn't really expected to meet more transplants at the party, so that intrigued her. As did the fact there was another knock on the door shortly afterward. "I guess more people are arriving," she commented idly. It wasn't her place to answer the door, but she wasn't sure if Matt had noticed. Obviously Addison wouldn't have, not when he was too busy stammering apologies to Mia.

Kyle smiled over to Matt, nodding a bit laughing as she heard Matt comment about giving up Yearbook. "Honestly, I almost gave yearbook up myself - it was hectic" she admitted ruffling a hand through her hair as she spoke. When he brought up dance classes her eyebrow inclined upwards, laughing she spoke again "Dance classes? Seriously? Last term's big hubbub was a bunch of Pirate infected people reeking havoc on school and trying to break into the spirit room" she chuckled, dancing would have been fun she wasn't the most graceful at all but she loved the ebb, the flow, the movement of two bodies spiraling around a room together it was just so poetic.

And then he commented on Simon - yes he had told her to told her to tell him years ago - and it took a long while more so because of Nasha her lovely little succubus of a pirate that took over her whole body. "Oh yeah it was a bit hard but I'm glad I waited - he was possessed by a pirate you know - and so was I...mine was oddly interested and jealous of Professor Vindictus" she shuddered. "I don't fancy saying hey I was possessed by a pirate who had a thing for my head of house - but I was..." she laughed a bit biting her lip.

When Matt turned to Talk to Dia she nodded yeah that was a much needed conversation and then she heard Stella speaking perfect french and couldn't help but smile. "Qui - je parle français et je suis français" she smiled over to Stella, "Vous êtes Français?" she asked hoping Stella was it would be nice to meet someone else who had gone to Beauxbaton! Or was just born there she didn't mind - she just loved to be able to speak her native tongue!

India nodded, looking up she spotted Addison falling into her little sister's lips and couldn't help but laugh. "Aw adorable 'oi Matt check it out" she laughed pointing back at her sister and Addison. Yeah she saw it. They would never live this moment down.

Mia didn't expect to find lips on hers but she did. Blink.
Blink. She frowned slightly as she looked over at Addison before he had spoken. She didn't want to be kissing yet boys were so nasty they had dirty socks, and dirty socks were gross. Though they were fun to fill with things and throw at people like makeshift stink bombs.

Laughing at the idea of a stink-sock-bomb she raised her hand to her lips and wiped off all of the germs. All she could feel since cooties were feel-able and well she thought they were crawling on her face right now. "Ewwww not cool" she sniped her accent thicker than before. "Apology accepted...what do you think of toads?" she asked suddenly trying to change the subject. "In Australia where I'm from we have these gigantic poisonous toads" she nodded quickly her hair bobbing around her shoulders. "They are like three feet wide - well no, smaller but they eat Rats so they are HUGE - they are more like 10–15 cm as adults...once a smacked one and it squirted a pigeon with its poison...I felt sorry for the pigeon...it died."

Wow. Awkward girl. But she was being silly - her usual silly self.

Huh, where was everyone else? It seemed as soon as he thought that, there was a knock at the door; Matt headed back over with a blush still firmly planted on his cheeks from Stella kissing him again. What? He honestly couldn't help that reaction. As he turned the doorknob and noticed who had shown up, he grinned a bit. "Nik, glad you could make it man. So far we're the only Slytherins and guys here but that's cool. So how's your summer been dude?" Obviously he wanted to know since he hadn't seen his housemate since the end of term feast which was both strange and quite fascinating since there was that little creature stirring up trouble, just basically destroying the celebration hour for his house. Not cool. He moved out of the way so that his friend could come in before he closed the door, as he noticed his girlfriend and Kyle talking; he knew that there was no need to interrupt that conversation it wouldn't have been right at all.

When Dia commented on something, he couldn't help but turn his head just in time to witness his brother kissing Mia. Haha wow. But the reactions from each other them couldn't help but make him laugh. "Someone's first kiss at nine years old! How cute." At nine years old, he was still going through the whole girls were icky phase and they had cooties so he just hung out with the guys. Oh how things had changed since then.

Ad couldn't help but run off to the kitchen and grab a glass of grape juice so that he could take the cooties off his lips, he seemed to return just in time for Mia to not only accept his apology but go off about rats of all things. Huh, rats were kinda cool except for the ones that seemed to be all vicious. Wait, were they vampires? Were there such a thing as vampire rats? "Wait.. you smacked a rat? Why would you do that? Didn't you know that they could bite you?" He wasn't about to mention his ridiculous ideas since they did seem pretty stupid to even him.

Mia cocked her head to the side shocked, then realizing he had missed the whole bit about Cane toads she just laughed. "Well I'm sure a Rat would bite me - no...I didn't smack a rat - we should though you have any we can smack?" Wait, calm down sparky she thought smiling. "I smacked a Cane Toad - they are like a foot-wide toad thats poisonous and evil and hoped down the road after my friends Krissy..." She smiled - Krissy heh she'd been moved to Los Angeles by her father. Evil father.

"I don't see her anymore she moved to Los Angeles - are you a wizard? Me, I'm a witch! I know Matt went to Hogwarts." She smiled. "I want to go there - explore the castle - find secret passage ways and paint statues - painting statues would be fun." Not as fun as freezing spiders and painting them electric pink but close enough.

"My sister's insane...apparently she went on a date with a guy - I know ew...but he had a girlfriend and she told me she'd get yelled at."

At least Matt had gone to answer the door. If it had taken too much longer Stella probably would have gone and done it herself, which would have been entirely too awkward. She didn't want people to have to wait outside, although it might have been better at least for now. She'd noticed that Matt had blushed again, after all. Depending on who was at the door, that could mean some explanation. Of course, if Addison hadn't been so occupied in trying to forget kissing India's sister, she had the feeling the nine-year-old would have been all too willing to explain to whomever was at the door. he reminded her of Carter so much it was hilarious, at least in that regard.

As Kyle answered her in fluent French, however, she grinned. At least it meant there was somebody here who would understand if she involuntarily spoke French again. "[I]Oui[I]," she responded, glancing at the door as Matt let the new arrival in. A boy she only vaguely thought she remembered from last term, but obviously Matt knew him. She didn't need to know everyone beforehand, and she figured Matt would introduce her eventually anyway. She was too occupied in being able to speak French to worry too much about it. "Eh bien, je ne suis pas vraiment français. Je suis né en Angleterre, mais est allé à Beauxbâtons jusqu'au dernier terme. Mon père a été transféré au ministère français quand j'étais petit." granted, Kyle probably didn't need that much explanation, but she still was struggling a bit with accepting that she wasn't really English. It amused both Talia and Risa, but she knew eventually she'd decide.

What a great place to have an apartment, definitely Matt did a great job finding it. Suddenly the door opened and Nikolas turned around to see Matt, "What's up mate?" he said exciting to see Matt and noticed the blush on his cheek. Uhh weird. "There's no need to blush when I'm here" he teased him. They were the only Slytherin guys? Where was everyone? "My summer? Well,I have done nothing much right now but I'm leaving the country next week with my brother to Scotland" Exciting isn't it? "And what about you?" he said as he entered the room.

Four people were already here and two of them talking some weird language. Oh well, let's introduce this Slytherin guy. "Hello everyone!" he said trying to get everyone's attention "I'm Nikolas, nice to meet you all" There! He already made his no so big entrance.

Kyle smiled over to Stella - smiling softly and nodding as she explained how she was actually born in England but moved to France with her parents as a little kid. Wow, brilliant.

"J'avais l'habitude de fréquenter l'Académie Beauxbâtons" she smiled over to her, thinking how to explain the transfer situation - it wasn't unknown news really her mum was an Auror and had to go undercover so she sent her off to live with her aunt in London. Perfect. "Moi, moi je ne suis qu'un peu de français, car moi du fait que la mère est française et mon père est anglais." She smiled, "Je ne reçois pas de visiter la France assez souvent," she added with a soft smile, Je reste avec ma tante Alicia Devereaux et ses colocataires Athlon Raven et Chelsea Payne...I like Chelsea she's nice - but Raven, I do not like her at all I despise her - however, that is besides the point I transferred from Beauxbatons for my sixth and seventh years because my mother works in the Ministry and she needed to go undercover - she was trying to do something about the Cult uprising in America...I hear from here every once in a while" She smiled softly, ah yes her mother was a former MLE girl from France with the french Ministry - wonderful news just wonderful. Ah honesty best policy by far.. When she noticed the look she was getting from Nikolas she simply gave him a quick smile.

"Hello, Nikolas - I am Kyleigh Manning." She smiled, turning to Stella and smiled, "Its nice actually meeting someone who I can actually speak French with" She smiled, alright so she wasn't going to say what she wanted to say which was I APPROVE. She'd tell Matt that later, because Stella could speak french so she got an automatic uppage of points (and they were already in her favor seeing she seemed very kind) - and well, she wasn't her.

India glanced up at the person who had just walked into the room and made a grand entrance. Well hello Mr. drop dead gorgeous she smirked, pushing her hair out of her face she walked over to him. "Hello Nikolas, I'm India" she smiled, "you call call me Dia if you want" her tone of voice almost leaving more to the imagination than there could be imagined.

Letting her eyes glance up and down his well rather attractive body - she blushed a bit, not letting her eyes linger anywhere for too long she smiled realizing he was about her age. Maybe. Who cared really. At least he wasn't a first year.

"What year are you? I over heard Matt comment about Slytherin - er, I'm a Ravenclaw myself" the stupid Ravenclaw who accepted a date with the Slytherindevil.

As far as she could tell, Kyle was perfectly happy with talking to her in French, and for once Stella didn't mind. There weren't many people in London, at least that she'd met, who spoke French fluently, so it was nice to be able to keep bilingual. She knew Matt knew a bit of the language, but she had a feeling that he'd be lost if she'd said half of what she'd already said to Kyle. "Mes deux parents sont anglais, mais ils sont devenus plutôt français déjà. Ma mère l'adore, car elle est une artiste. Mon père est au travail plus qu'autre chose. J'ai toujours techniquement y vivent, mais," she replied with a smile, noticing the odd look they'd received from the new arrival but deciding to finish her thought before anything else. "Je vis avec ma sœur, Talia, alors que je suis à Hogwarts, et j'essaie de convaincre mes parents de me laisser revenir définitivement. Le séjour en France est assez bon pour moi." She knew she'd mis seeing Risa all the time if she moved back to London, but that just meant she'd have to convince her best friend to visit her. She still had to meet Matt, after all, and that would be much easier before he went to France after the coming term. She'd promised him she'd help him while he was there, after all, and she knew Risa was the best at finding the interesting locations.

She turned back to Matt and the other boy, then, and gave a little grin to her boyfriend before walking closer. She knew he understood the change in language, at least, but she could be nice to Nikolas, too. "Hi Nikolas," she said with a smile. "I'm Stella," she added, wondering if Matt had told him anything. She felt kind of awkward just coming out and saying she was his girlfriend, even though she was. She just figured it was kind of known by now. "It's nice to meet you, too." It was. Even better if he was the sort of Slytherin that Matt was, not the stereotypical kind. There was a bit of ego there, but nothing that set off any warnings in her mind.

As soon as he heard what she was on about with toads, Ad couldn't help but chuckle slightly since sure it seemed like Mia was a little weird but hey there was nothing wrong with being a little weird since like his brother said; life would boring otherwise if everyone acted normal. Whatever that meant. "No I don't have a rat, all I've got is Max and wait.. you smacked a toad? Dude why would you do that honestly?" When she kept talking however, he could just stare practically off into left field because she was talking like a mile a minute and it was a challenge for him to be catching up to what she was saying. "Your friend went to Los Angeles, I think I actually met her at one point since she was asking me about something and seemed to be like super nice to me.. it was a little weird cause like I'm nine years old honestly." He really didn't want to remember that since that was another girl with her cooties, ugh; now good at all. Why did his brother have to invite these girls seriously? Well he didn't have a problem with Stella but still.

When Nik commented on the fact that he was still blushing, Matt chuckled for a second and felt the need to explain it but it would all make sense in time if he hadn't. "Oh not much, just been talking to people here." Well if that wasn't obvious already, he wasn't just going to stand around and be randomly awkward since that wouldn't have been much fun but before he had the change to say anything else he noticed Dia walk up and practically flirt with him; honestly that was not a good idea but he was just going to let things happen without saying a word. At least for now. "Scotland huh? That sounds pretty cool, I just moved from Los Angeles to here not long ago; actually had Stella help me move in cause otherwise I'd still be here trying to move all my stuff to where it should be. And I'm off to Diagon Alley next week, have to start getting my stuff for seventh year." Speaking of his girlfriend.. it seemed like as soon as he mentioned her name, she just appeared at his side; now that was rather interesting.

After his big entrance, actually not that big but who cares? At least everyone knew who he was. "I can't wait to go there, and forget about school stuff" and then come back and start his sixth year. "You are from LA? Wow! That's cool! Wanna go there someday" he admitted "Ready to leave Hogwarts?" he asked Matt, since next term was his last one. As soon as he asked his question a girl ,who he may have seen in some of his classes, appeared beside Matt. Maybe she was his girlfriend "So, you are Matt's girlfriend?" he asked right away. Heh. "It's a pleasure to meet you" he smiled back. Matt needed to update him about his love life and Nikolas has to do it as well. And he couldn't help but to ask this "By the way...what language are you two talking?" he wondered.

After that, he heard another girl introducing some kind of weird name...Kyle-something. He looked at her and smiled back and then another girl appeared in front of him. India? Interesting name. "Nice to meet you, Dia" he smiled. But uh...what was she doing? It was pretty obvious her flirting and if he didn't had a girlfriend he would have definitely flirt back.

"I'm a sixth year" he nodded. "What about you...Dia?" he said with a wink. What? It was fun.

What was with the random flirting between Dia and Nik? Matt wasn't entirely sure although he definitely wanted to find out considering hadn't his Slytherin friend had a girlfriend? He didn't know exactly since they hadn't talked in a little while and this was going to be the perfect time for them to catch up anyway. "You do? Well I might be taking some friends back at some point, if you want to come; I just have to talk with some of my friends back home about it so I can arrange things. But, it would be cool. I know the city like the back of my hand and it's never a boring moment in LA." Well he already thought about bringing Stella there some point since it would be fun but he didn't mind doing a tour for his Hogwarts friends. Speaking of the school.. "I am and I'm not at the same time, I mean I can't wait to see what's next after Hogwarts but I have to leave some people behind; namely my girlfriend." He wasn't entirely happy about that but at least he could still see her over holidays, though now wasn't the time to be thinking about all this. There was still the whole term in front of him and he was going to just deal with that first.

This guy wasn't seeming to respond. Ah well - maybe he was one of those guys. She liked those guys - the guys who when they are with someone don't bat their eyelashes at another girl. If that was the case - well Nikolas here just went into her book of awesome people I should definitely be friends with because they don't use woman. There was only on name in her other book - the Guys I should have never even danced with and one in the other other one, the Book of guys she should have never exchanged names with or even said she'd go on a date with. Alright now that her inner war was over it was time to respond to Awesome guy.

"Nice to meet you as well Nikolas - I'm actually going to be a seventh year next term" she smiled, "my little sister will probably take my place as Hogwart's most Insane student - I danced with an invisible person during dance lessons since...well, I was shy and didn't put myself out there" she admitted with a laugh.

Kyle smiled over to Stella nodding, "Ah I understand I lived with my aunt Alicia while I attended Hogwarts myself - I actually left Beauxbaton because - well, I wanted a change of scenery and my mothers job in the ministry had ended" somewhat - lie she'd been transferred to America apparently. "She's now working in America or Canada I don't really remember but she's doing a contract in the North American Ministries." She smiled softly, running a hand through her hair as another much-younger student walked in.

Smiling over to him, "Oh French we were speaking French and its a pleasure meeting you Nikolas - I'm Kyleigh Manning - you can call me Ky or Kyle...anything other than Kyleigh really its just such a mouthful" she smiled. Yes, Kyle was odd but she was intriguing and interesting and people seemed to actually like her craziness.

Mia just blinked when Ad said he might have known Krissy. Which was cool but she didn't like the fact that Krissy liked boys. Boys were gross. "Krissy is weird...she likes boys" Mia shuddered. Smiling brightly as if someone had turned a light on inside of her as he asked her why she had smacked a toad. "Because - it was a cane toad...and he was trying to attack my owl Chester" she admitted laughing. "So I attacked it - and my mum picked me up before it could poison me...if she hadn't I'd have been toad food." Laughing even louder she echoed her words. "Toad food. Heh always makes me think of Tofu...why do people eat that stuff? Its spongey and brown, and textureless, and tastes like...soy beans" she made a disgusted face before laughing again.

"What do you think about soap fountains?" She asked suddenly - almost gauging if Addison was cool. If he was she'd think less of the cooties only a little less. Less enough to shove him into a soap filled fountain whenever she had a chance.

Stella grinned slightly as Kyle had gone into an explanation of why she'd left Beauxbatons. It was similar, but also so far off from her own reasons. "I transferred from Beauxbatons because I needed to get away from some people," she admitted. Of course, he'd graduated by now, but there was the other reason she'd had for coming here anyway. "Plus, I'd always wanted to go to Hogwarts. My sister had, as did my mother, and I always felt like I belonged there rather than Beauxbatons." But then, it seemed like the conversation had come to a close, as Kyle had apparently followed her over to Matt and Nikolas, conveniently answering the question that had been asked about what language they were speaking while she'd been watching Matt's reaction to her appearance. Especially as she'd arrived to hear him mentioning her anyhow.

She nodded at Nikolas's question, however, even as she felt a shiver at being actually described as Matt's girlfriend. They hadn't really gone into the titles much, but it felt nice. And true. "Yes, I am," she responded, looping her arm through Matt's as he'd mentioned graduation. Giving him a little hug, or his arm at least, she turned slightly to look at him as Kyle and India were speaking to Nikolas. It wasn't being rude, not really, especially as she had a feeling Nikolas would enjoy talking to the other girls better. Just because he seemed like the type to like the attention of unattached girls, or people who fell for his charms. It was kind of like Ethan, but much less annoying. Namely, she could stand being around Nikolas.

Reassuring Matt again was more important, and she boosted herself up to whisper in his ear. "You're not leaving me behind for long. And there's always Gidget while I'm at school." She hoped he'd send her messages, at least, especially while he was in France. She wanted to make sure he didn't get lost, enjoyed his trip even though she had a feeling he really was going to miss her. They had all of the coming term before they had to deal with that. And right now they were supposed to be having fun, at a party. Not dwelling on the future.

Seemed the flirting was over and that was good because Nikolas didn't wanted to feel like betraying his girlfriend or anything. About the wink he gave Dia he was just being friendly. Heh. Not big deal. He couldn't help but to laugh a bit at the mention of the dance, "Really? That's funny" he admitted. "What other crazy things have you done?" he asked with a smile.

He looked at Matt and said "You should definitely take me with you to LA, it would be interesting" he nodded. And about his last year, "I bet you'll miss her" he glanced over at Stella. Nikolas was expecting Stella to answer his question but instead he heard another voice and saw the other girl that was speaking that weird language. Ohh so it was French? Interesting " French? That's cool. You should teach me some" he nodded "I'll call you Kyle" Without doubt "I can barely pronounce your whole name" he chuckled. So Stella was Matt's girlfriend? Finally they've met "And what year are you in?" he asked Stella.

As soon as Mia started talking again, Ad tried to pay attention to what she was saying but couldn't help but notice that the older kids had been all sorta having a different conversation which might not have been as strange as this one was however it was good to be talking to another little kid. "Why would she like boys? Honestly what is with girls liking boys?" He didn't get the point to that although Matt had liked Stella a lot and he wasn't weirded out by that since she was really nice but did he like Mia? Of course not, dude that was not happening. Never. But as the conversation went back to the whole thing about toads, he couldn't help but laugh; he finally got why she had to hit the toad although that still seemed a little strange to him. "Well that makes sense, I would have probably done the same if a toad tried to go after my dog since I don't have an owl yet; I just borrow my brother's if I need to send a letter." He definitely couldn't wait until Diagon Alley so that he could finally get his own owl, then again he had to ask whenever that could happen considering if Matt wasn't going to take him then he could ask his cousin Raven, speaking of which; wasn't she supposed to be coming to the party?

Before he had a chance to reply to Nik, Stella had whispered into his ear and he just smiled; Matt knew that it wasn't going to much next term knowing that he was graduating but she was right, he wasn't leaving her behind for that long and there was the summer before he was heading to France to spend time with her. "Of course, I'm sure Gidget would love to see you again anyway. But let's not worry about this now." He nodded before placing a kiss on her cheek and then turning his attention back to his housemate, though another thought had managed to take his attention away for a second; hmm where had everyone else been? He knew that his cousin, among a couple of his other friends were supposed to be here by now but then it seemed like they either didn't show or whatever. But hey, he wasn't letting the party not start. Not at all.

Quickly cluing in that Nik was going on about LA again, he left the conversation for a second to grab a photo album so that he could show his friend exactly where exactly he used to live. Matt opened his album and ended up handing it to the other Slytherin guy. "I totally will dude, I think you'll enjoy hanging out on the beach. Seriously, there's never a dull moment in the city; it's practically alive every second." That was the best way to summarize his old home. But he changed his expression as he mentioned missing his girlfriend, of course he would. "I will but you know what, I'll still get to see her." Once he had his apparation license of course, it would definitely make things all that much easier. However it seemed like the Ministry was rather busy when it came to processing those kind of things so he was truly getting impatient. "You know something else though, we're going to make it a triple threepeat since I'm graduating; that's the kind of end to my life at Hogwarts I would love to see." He was definitely going to strive to make that happen.
