Born with a normal bronze spoon in her mouth, Alexia shouldn't really be as arrogant or spoiled as she is, but something wonderful happened to suddenly bring money into their life. Lots of money. Get ready, its a good one: her grandmother died. Yep. And though she should of been sad about it she never really knew the daft old bat and all she could think about was "OHMYGAWSH JIMMY CHOOS. REAL ONES". This happened when she was 6, she was fashionable since live foreeevvvverrr.

So once the "daft old bat" had finally finished dodging the coffin and went to the ground, they moved, to a brand new mansion style villa in southern Crete and lived the happily ever after life.....oooorrrr not. Whilst she loved it, being fawned over, having everything she wanted, throwing massive parties and just having the time of her life, her parents wern't so happy, with their lot, her mum missed her mother, her father was working 24/7 and they were never together, but Alexia in her happy wealthy bubble missed all the signs.

Her mother had an affair. With the gardener. It was like a crappy episode of Desperate Housewives. Her father found out. Her father moved. TO SOUTH AFRICA. Unsurprisingly, Alexia was upset, of course about her family, but mainly, her funding had walked away from her, and the gardener was poor. And that relationship didn't last either. Her mother made her way through man after man before eventually meeting "just-call-me-Charlie *goofy grin*" And then they moved. Away from her lovely sunny home, away from it all, to MANCHESTER! WHO CAME UP WITH THAT IDEA?!!!

And her mother remarried. Pfft. She earned a new step sister and began to lose the overt tan and had to settle in with weird non speaking Greek people. And go to a public school. She didn't like it. At all. And then they moved. To Cornwall. The back and beyond, Lizard. The point of no return and no fun. And it disgusted her.

And then she got her letter. Apparantly, she was "magic". Pfft. But, eager to get away from her mothers actual love and her "fathers" lack of wealth, and her "sister's" stupid "ohmygawsh THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS!" thing, she went. And was sorted into Gryffindor. In her first year, she met her "group" and she stuck with them ever since

Two words describe Alexia: arogant, manipulative, and stuck up. Well thats three, but still, they describe her well. She'd never found it difficult getting what she wanted, her smile and her "kind" personality could snare anyone in a heartbeat and her terrifying but so endearing charisma and charm kept people in the spiders web. Think black widow. But better looking. She will chew you up and eat you for breakfast if you annoy her, or get in her way.

But that would be easy to describe her as a nasty manipulative cow, but the truth is, she's not, she grew up in a family of social ladder climbers, who never gave a flying fig about her and just plyed her with presents to stop her from crying, she was surrounded by nothing when she was a baby and her parents almost hated her with her insisant crying, so they've tried to appologise. With gifts, which makes Alexia a very spoilt girl. One would imagine she could of been the nicest person around, but the phrase "would've, couldv'e, should've" fit in.

She had a naieve streak to her, which was why she never picked up on the cracks in her family, but despite her "I couldn't give a toss" attitude, she was deeply hurt by their actions, she felt alone, all over again, despite her fathers "influence", ie, money, flowing in every month. And, to be honest, she couldv'e lived with Charlie if her mother hadn't of gone through *counts fingers* 6 marriges and 5 divorces. Um, yeah. The only reason she distanced herself from him and his daughter is because she found, if you get too close, you lose the most.

That changed when she got to Hogwarts and realised she could hold the attention of a room in a second and used that to her full advantage. She grew a love for eating up boys and snogging, until she got bored and moving on to the next one, and somehow the boys seemed to love it.

But underneath that tough, off-limits attitude is a girl who wants to succeed, and for the right reasons, she has a fierce, tiger like quality where she will push anyone off a cliff to get to the finish line, she's blown off friends and boyfriends for deadlines and homework and will personally destroy anyone who speaks in a lesson. She will succeed. She will get those NEWTs, she WILL get married to a prince. But before that she WOULD get into the best university in the world. And then she WILL be ruler of the world. But good ruler. Not like Hitler. Nope

Peeta Mellark did not have a desirable childhood. Although he grew up in the merchant area of District 12, his family life needed major improvement. His father was kind, but his mother, who was known as the "witch," was known to beat Peeta and his two brothers if they made a mistake, or did something she did not like. The family devotion was lax, and his mother did not place faith in him when he was chosen as a tribute for the 74th Hunger Games.. He also played with most of the other kids of the "rich" part of town including Delly Cartwright, as revealed in Mockingjay.
Ever since he was was five years old, Peeta had a crush on Katniss Everdeen. He remembered eleven years before, on his first day of school, his father pointed out another small child entering the school yard with him. Peeta was fascinated with the girl, in her red plaid dress and her hair in two braids. Peeta told Katniss that his father said, "See that little girl? I wanted to marry her mother, but she ran off with a coal miner." Peeta then replied, "A coal miner? Why did she want a coal miner when she could have had you?" His father answered, "Because when he sings... even the birds stop to listen." Later, when the teacher asked her to sing a song for class, the very birds listened to the tune. Peeta fell for her then. The two never spoke until the 74th Hunger Games.

~Life During and Since the Games~

Peeta was the baker's son, which makes him wealthier than most people in District 12, the coal mining district. His family never goes hungry, although they cannot afford to eat the delicious fresh baked goods, only the stale items that no one buys. He does not live in the Seam, unlike Katniss Everdeen, but in the center of town above the family bakery. Peeta states that his favorite color is orange: not bright orange but like a sunset. Peeta attended school with Katniss, but was never brave enough to talk to her. When Peeta is chosen for the Games, Katniss recalls that he saved her life by giving her bread when she was about eleven. At this time, the district had given her family money for her mother to get a job after Mr. Everdeen died, but Mrs. Everdeen did not look for a job due to deep depression. Katniss then takes over as the provider of her family. In an attempt to make money, Katniss unsuccessfully tries to sell her younger sister's old clothes when she nearly faints from hunger. Katniss walks behind the Mellark's bakery and scrummages through the trash while Peeta's "witch," of a mother tells her to scram. Peeta, who sees this, burns two loaves of bread purposely, pretends to give them to the pigs and instead gives them to Katniss. He was beaten by his mother for burning the bread. This act of kindness gives Katniss the will to survive. Peeta and Katniss never talk again until the Games.
