Some Secrets Are Better Left Unspoken
Plot: Thirteen members of the prestigious Sohma clan and a close friend have moved from Japan to Europe to attend Hogwarts. But there’s a problem. None of them are in the same house, and the thirteen Sohmas are under a curse. When weak and when a member outside the cursed thirteen of the opposite gender hugs a cursed one, they transform into an animal from the Chinese Zodiac, and one turns into a cat! How can they cope? They’ll make friends, and of course they’ll make enemies, but they will do their best to keep their family curse a secret.
Sadly, one person does know. The headmaster. But that is okay. He won’t tell anyone…will he?

Kiko is very much like Kyo. Being a feline as well, she has grown to hate the Rat and all the other members have shunned her because she loves Kyo. She couldn’t care less. She is often very self-concious about her eyes, and normally hides them behind large, dark sunglasses. She is also self-conscious about the many stripes covering her skin. She is often seen sleeping as well, for she is nocturnal, and sleeps most of the day.

PERSONALITY
Kyo is short-tempered, competitive, impulsive and rude, but he also has a soft side that he doesn't like people seeing. He gets embarrassed quickly and is overprotective of those he cares about. Some of his classmates call him Kyo-Kyo, Kyon or Kyon-Kyon or Kyonkinchi which means 'Lucky Kyo', normally by Ayame Sohma and Shigure Sohma who both enjoy teasing him. An example would be that at one point Shigure pesters him about the reason he hates Yuki and Kyo stomps off to the forest, ready to cry. He also has a strong hatred for leeks, and the smell makes him sick. He also hates green onions and miso, unless it's in soup form.
THE CAT OF THE ZODIAC
Kyo shares some traits with cats. He dislikes water, hence hating to swim or go to a beach (shown when the Sohmas went for their summer vacation). Due to this, his mood changes drastically during rain, becoming restless, tired, moody, and more than easily agitated but at the same time no mood to argue or fight. He prefers to wear a lose-fitting t-shirt or jacket because he doesn't like tight clothing (especially around the neck, like cats hates collars). He has been shown often drinking milk, and becoming annoyed when finding out there wasn't any more milk in the fridge when Ritsu was around. Once, he was even shown dreaming about fish, enjoying them. As Shishou mentioned, Kyo likes to hide behind walls when he wishes to talk to someone urgently (shown twice) like a cat. He seems to get frightened by loud noises too, becoming startled like a cat. He is also often seen sitting on a roof because like a cat, for he is drawn to high places. Being cursed by the spirit of the cat, Kyo has orange hair, like orange fur on cats. His eyes seem to become silt-like when his cat spirit stirs in him, for example when he gets angry at Yuki, the Rat (or his 'natural' enemy).
Shigure has said that the cat was the creature that was left out. His only purpose, he said, was to make the other Zodiac members feel better. 'Good' they think, 'At least I'm better off than him.'

Ayame is the snake of the Chinese zodiac, and Yuki's older brother, a young man with very long silver hair and striking eyes, which Tohru notes makes him resemble Yuki. Ayame is depicted as vivacious, flamboyant, self-confident, and self-centered, with a knack for annoying Yuki and Kyo and often getting hurt by Yuki and Kyo in response. In an author's note, Natsuki Takaya described him as a draining person to meet in real life.
Ayame is best friends with Shigure and Hatori, who are the same age; while Shigure goes along with Ayame's outrageous personality, Hatori is the only one, according to Shigure and Takaya, who can restrain Ayame's worst behavior. As the snake, Ayame is especially susceptible to cold.[86] When Ayame was in high school, he was president of the student council, and is proud that Yuki is following him. Ayame fears the "nothingness" of not being acknowledged.
When Ayame was young, he completely ignored Yuki, and even forgot Yuki's name once, but during the series he realizes that he will be completely alone, with only his brother as company when they get older. This spurs an obsession with gaining Yuki's love, which he attempts to do by demanding it from Yuki, and later trying more thoughtful ways to prove that Yuki can depend on Ayame. As the series progresses, Yuki gradually accepts Ayame as a brother, and even tries to understand him.

As a writer of both romance novels and academic books, Shigure loves to drive his editor, Mitchan, insane. His most famous and well-celebrated pen name is Kiritani Noa (western order, Noa Kiritani), which he usually uses for his romance novels, as Summer-Colored Sigh, which he showed to Saki Hanajima, Arisa Uotani and Kyo Sohma. They give very different reactions, Hanajima asks if a sequel will be coming out, while Uotani says it is unacceptable to write that 'smut' and Kyo comments that it's sick. Shigure lives on the "outside" of the Sohma house in a large home with Kyo, Yuki, and Tohru. Shigure can make anyone laugh. But some of his jokes offend others. He and Akito are a couple at the end of the story.

Haru has two personalities, black and white. White is good and nice, but you don't want to bring out his black side. Haru is usually placid, straightforward and good-natured, but there are times when he turns "black" and becomes violent, perverted, short-tempered, rude and cruel. Hatsuharu also has no sense of direction due to cursed by the spirit of the Ox, once getting lost for just trying to find the house Yuki lives with Shigure (which is nearby and extremely easy to find). As a child, as mentioned in the fight between Haru and Kyo when the former is introduced, Kyo had to lead his cousin to the bathroom as he could not find it and often got lost.
History
Unable to bear the insults to himself by being inhibited by the spirit of the Ox, Haru confronts Yuki, the rat who used the Ox. He yells at Yuki, blaming everything on Yuki, stating that it was all his fault that he was being labelled "dumb" and "stupid". However, Yuki calmly states that since Haru doesn't think of himself stupid, Yuki asked him the question, "Are you really stupid?".
With that question, Haru realises that he doesn't need to listen to others on the opinion about him. He only needed to trust himself. After that day of confrontation onwards, Haru starts to admire Yuki deeply.

Tohru is an extremely kind girl who refuses to let anyone lift a finger for her. Her friends sometimes call her "a pushover". As a result, Ayame Sohma and Hiro Sohma seem to order her around. She makes sure everything is nice and clean in Shigure's house and promises to pay anyone back who treats her. For example, when Yuki explains to her that the area where her tent was set up was Sohma property, she says that she would stay there for only another week, and that she would pay them with what little money she had if they let her stay on the property. Isuzu Sohma thought that she and Hatsuharu Sohma were too nice, as did Kureno Sohma. Akito Sohma thought that Tohru was an idiot because she was too kind and willing to forgive anyone for anything that they've done to her. Tohru is constantly cleaning up, enjoying housework and doesn't mind doing things for others

Hiro accidentally witnessed Akito pushing Isuzu out of a window, which later causes Hiro some distress, because he found out about Hatsuharu and Isuzu dating, and witnessed Isuzu being pushed out of the window by Akito, something Haru would never forgive. Rin and Akito forced him not to tell Haru about the incident he had witnessed.
He first meets Tohru Honda while she is on her way to work. He throws his shoe onto the ground and orders her to pick it up. When she does, he begins lecturing her about always obeying orders from other people and thinking for himself. Hiro dislikes Tohru the first time they meet.
He is exceedingly good at making sarcastic comments and complaining. He dislikes Momiji Sohma's hyper and carefree disposition. He is never smiling, unless being sarcatisc.
