A small, blonde girl arrives at Hogwarts, accompanied by a cat she calls Pantamilion. The cat is a shape-shifter and can talk (obviously McGonagall loved it) but it can't be too far from her or it pains them both. She has a very odd compass with her. Nobody knows where she's from, or who she is.
Nobody knows that she comes from a paralell universe where a person's soul resides outside their body in an animal-like form called a Daemon. Nobody knows her gold compass is the last remaining alethiometer. Nobody knows that this device reveals the truth, and with it Lyra can tell what people are doing, and feel like she is them. Mrs. Coulter has destroyed all the others. Nobody knows that Lyra promised to keep it hidden, but it might be the only thing that can save the Wizarding World.
Little does she know that Mrs. Coulter and her Gobblers (children snatchers) are following her every move, waiting for the perfect time to strike...
But nobody knows.

She was brought up at Jordan College, where the scholars, professors and servants largely treated her as an adopted daughter. She was raised believing that her parents had died in an airship crash, but that may not be so. Very little is known about her background and family, especially unknown to Lyra herself.
Lyra received a scant and haphazard education at the hands of Jordan scholars, being neither interested in scholarly study nor officially a student of Jordan College. However, she is highly intelligent, and is particularly talented at deceiving others; she is capable of making up complex yet plausible lies improvisationally. At Oxford she uses this talent to avoid punishment by her guardians, and to entertain and deceive other children.

Lyra's dćmon, Pantamilion, is her dearest companion and the embodiment of her soul. She calls him 'Pan' as a nickname. His name is that of a saint in the orthodox churches, St. Panteleimon, and in Greek means "all-compassionate". He can change into many forms, ranging from a dragon to a spider, but his favourite forms are a snow-white ermine, a moth, a cat, and a mouse.

Early Life Ron was born into a Pure-Blood family. Though not a wealthy family, they all worked hard together to make ends meet. When he was 11, he got his letter for Hogwarts.
Hogwarts Years Twelve-year-old Ron was sorted into Gryffindor when he arrived at Hogwarts, along with his two best friends, Harry and Hermione. He does okay in school to scrape together the required grades, but he would rather have Hermione do it all for him.
Personality Ron is funny, but he can be insensitive at times. He can be insecure, argumentative and quite moody.
Beyond all of his more negative traits, Ron is a very loyal and trustworthy friend. He will do anything to protect those he loves.

Second year, they're all twelve. You can only be a made-up when all the existing characters are taken. You should read my original post over again... that was there.

Minerva is usually very serious and stern, and held in great respect (and some fear) by nearly all students. She tolerates neither talking nor silliness from her pupils.
