Starting out with the year of 2071, when they all met each other at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the drama and tension had already begun to rise. From fake relationships to real relationships, their past is what really brought them together. Before anybody knew it, the couples of Ella and Aiden, then Vanessa and Patrick had become real, but it also came with consequences. This thread will show you the ongoing lives of the fantastic four.

Patrick was doing his best to follow Aiden and Thalia around in this mansion packed full of people. Partying was beginning to wear off on him. Yeah sure he liked it when they were at Hogwarts and Durmstang, but now the heat from dancing and flashing lights made him feel nauseous. Or maybe it was his fear as to who he might possibly see here that was creating that feeling in him. "Aiden where exactly is the food?" Patrick yelled over the loudness of the music.
Pshh... because they were guys and needed their drinks and chocolate fountain stuff. He made a mental note right then and there that he was going to make sure to have a chocolate fountain or a few at his wedding. He continued to push through people and got more then a few dirty words and glares.
Thal was ecstatic to be in this place considering she didn't know the dude who was throwing the party and almost all of the guests in it. She wanted to stop and start dancing to the dance-worthy songs, but Aiden and Patrick being the men they were, of course wanted to figure out where all the food was. Ridiculous? Hell yes. The only part worth it at the moment was Aiden's hand in hers. As unfortunate as the Aidella break-up happened to be... Aiden wanted to spend a lot of time with her and she wasn't going to throw an opportunity away like that, was she?

Vanessa was walking around with her cousin, Jason, trying to find Nathan somewhere in all these people. She knew that this was a party that most of her old friends would come to and it made her nervous exactly whom would come. However, she tried not to let it get to her as she looked around for her boyfriend underneath all the lights.
As she looked she thought she had caught sight of Thalia and Aiden but couldn't exactly tell. "Jason, I think that was Thalia over there. Do you see her or am I going insane?" She asked with a laugh.
Jason had been excited for this party for about a week. The only reasons were because of girls that were here and he had been stuck with muggle girls his entire life. He felt as if he needed a change of meeting girls, so he agreed with the invitation to go with Vanessa. However, he was getting really bored trying to look for her newest boyfriend. Just when he was about to complain and want to get out on the dance floor, Vanessa said she had seen Thalia.
"Thalia Munroe? Are you kidding me right now?" He asked his cousin, trying to look over the people in the direction Vanessa said she had seen her.
This wasn't good, he hadn't seen that girl for over a year and seeing her tonight, well it was just making him nervous.
Vanessa shook her head towards Jason. "It must have been somebody else." She said looking around for Nathan some more. Then, she caught a glimpse of someone who seemed to look like him. "Come on, I think I see him!" She said pulling on Jason's arm.

Ella was actually excited to get out of Knockturn Alley and away from James. He was great, yeah, but it would be nice to get back in with her old crowd occasionally. However, something inside her said that this would not pan out too swimmingly. She walked towards the house, her heels clicking as she went, and entered straight away.
Right. Where is the food and drinks?
Who's party was this, even? Eh..
The nineteen-year-old caught sight of a table of refreshments and she carried herself rather motionlessly over there. Grabbing a cup staight away, Ella filled it up with Butterbeer and turned on her heel to face the crowd. Hmm.. any guys here that wanted to dance with the Ellanator? PSSH, course there were!
But wait... What WHO was that THING clinging on to her ex boyfriend?! Thalia Mun-freaking-Roe?! That COW was... was... with Aiden? Had he no standards? Fuming, Ella slammed her cup back on the table and tried not to look at them. So basically, she was death glaring at the wall. Where was James when ya needed him?
Nathan Young wasn't big on hanging around with people that he didn't know too well. He was sometimes shy! But a party like this one would be different. He'd know because he was quite the party animal. And this one would only be better because he would be with his girlfriend, yes I said girlfriend, Vanessa Campbell. Course, he knew that Vanessa had a bit of baggage in the relationship department, if that's the right word to call it. He often thought that he was just her re-bound boyfriend for whenever her and Patrick broke up. But this time, it had lasted longer than a week! Merlin's Beard...
Deciding that he wanted to enter the party with Vanessa on his arm, he waited for her outside the huge house. Five minutes slowly passed and he eventually caught sight of the girl walking along with her cousin. Jumping up from the wall he was casually perched upon, Nathan grinned and skipped towards the pair.
"Hey, baabe." He said, sliding an arm across her shoulders. He really did love Vanessa. It was tragic really. "All right, Jason?" He then asked, remembering the boy was there, too. Nathan didn't know Jason and the rest of Vanessa's family particularly well, but they had met on occasions. "Wanna head inside now?" Yes, yes. Sounded fab to him.

Aiden leisurely walked on into the home, as if he'd been there a million times before. He hadn't, of course. The place was HUGE. And the guy's parents were clearly loaded. Patrick's voice floated over the music to him. Where was the food? "Beats me," Aiden said with a shrug. He glanced around for some table that would hopefully be littered with all things tasty. "Wanna go scope it out?" Did he really need to ask?
He turned to Thalia beside him. "Pat and I are going to go check out the food. You want anything?" Because this song was not a dancing song. Well... actually it was, but Aiden didn't like the song, soo yeah. Drinks first.

Vanessa was on the lookout for some of her old friends when Nathan finally showed up. "Well don't you look snazzy." She said with a smile. This whole thing about dating Nathan seemingly made her guilty and she wasn't liking it, but she would go along with it, definitely. "Yeah, let's go in." She said putting an arm around him as he walked with Nathan and Jason inside of the mansion. "Nathan, some of my old friends are here and I'm pretty sure I saw one of them earlier." She said catching a glimpse of somebody's really familiar hair over at the refreshments table. "So let's go get a drink; before we see them, okay?" Before Nathan could answer though, she was leading her boyfriend over to the refreshments table at a fast speed. She needed to see who it was. She just had too.
Then, as she made her way over, well it wasn't good. It seemed like the whole crew was there with Thalia and Jason. Awkward, much? Especially with him being there. She quickly took ahold of Nathan's hand, giving it a squeeze, and turned towards Jason.
"See, Thalia's here! Why don't you go and talk-" She was about to finish her sentence to Jason but as she saw his facial expression it wasn't good. She felt bad for her cousin, she knew how much he liked Thalia and seeing her holding Aiden's hand was probably not going good for him.
However, she was not going to just stand here and wait for everybody to reconcile; she was going to say at least something...at some point in time. She gave a little wave to Ella, then over to Aiden and Thalia. But not him. No, definitely not him. She ignored all eye contact with him. She then turned towards Nathan with a worried look upon her face. "Nathan, if anything gets awkward for you, please tell me." She said, worried.
Jason nodded towards Nathan as he came over to Vanessa. "Yeah, things have been going good, except for now." He said, a bit angry at the thought of Thalia being here. As he thought more about it, he knew he had come off rude and really didn't mean it to be that way. "Sorry, mate, didn't mean it about you, it's about somebody else." He clarified.
Then he walked in, following behind the couple, as he made his way over to the refreshments table with them. He noticed Patrick at the other side of the table with Aiden and Thalia. He felt bad for Vanessa, but noticed how she tried tried to focus all her attention on Nathan. No, he felt bad for Nathan. But he couldn't do anything about it, so he picked up a cup of butterbeer and took a sip.
While he was enjoying the music Vanessa brought up about going over to Thalia to talk. He was just about to but his jaw dropped as he saw Thalia and Aiden holding hands. "What?" He muttered to himself, closing his jaw to not look like an idiot.
Patrick chuckled and said, "Dude, do you even have to ask?" Of course he wanted to scope out the food. Suddenly he caught sight of Ella... or who he thought was Ella. Every brunette girl looked the same to him underneath strobe lights. As he got to the food table he decided that it was definitely Ella. Hah judging by her attire and all. Ella was always more the risque type. He picked up a firewhiskey off the table and took a sip of it. If she was here, he knew she wouldn't approve. As a matter of fact she wouldn't approve of a lot of things he and Aiden had been doing. That only made doing all of those things better.
That's when he noticed that she was here, and all over that DUDE FROM HER 18TH BIRTHDAY! Patrick choked a little on his drink and set it down firmly on the table, enough to make it shake. "Look who decided to show up too," he told Aiden, motioning his head over at the group.
"You guys aren't leaving me here alone. I'm sooo going with you," Thalia informed Aiden with a smile. When they got to the food table, she let go of Aiden's hand, picked up a peanut butter cookie, and started eating it. The faster they ate, the more time they had to dance which was another reason behind agreeing to go to this party. Hah the first being Aiden of course. She turned her head and her eyes widened as she spotted Ella, Vanessa, some dude she didn't know, and Jason? Why the hell was he here? Everything began to feel more awkward... "Hey did you guys see---" she stopped as Patrick spoke.
Here is a lengthy book that is dedicated to all of you.

Umm... what were they suppose to do now?
"Nope," Aiden answered, letting the 'p' sound pop. And there it was: he and Patrick would go examine the refreshments. Scratch that - he, Patrick, and Thalia would go. He grinned at Thalia's insistence. "Let's go then." And Aiden was very right - the food looked excelenteee! Ohh, chocolate covered strawberries. Sheeet son, there was even white chocolate drizzled over the dark. Talk about fancy shmancy. Doubtful that it'd stay that way, though..
He ate one of the strawberries and tossed the little green leafy part in the garbage. "The strawberries are awesome, by the way," he noted to the cousins. In case they were debating them. He nudged Thalia and smiled. "Fancy a dance when they play something good?" Though then Patrick and Thal started going on about someone who was here or something and Aiden turned his head, his eyes first landing on.. Jason. Hah! Aiden had really only seen him a few times, but he remembered that the kid always had the hots for Thalia... and he easily got annoyed by Aiden - a fact that Aiden only fueled with incessant provoking. That being said...
La dee daa .. Aiden slinked an arm around Thalia and, knowing that Jason was probably casting surreptitious glances at them, he leaned down and kissed the corner of her mouth as the hints of a smirk lingered on his. It was rather mean of him actually, because he did this mainly to get on Vanessa's cousin's nerves. heheh.
Patrick's tone blatantly gave away his emotion, and so Aiden scanned to see who he was so ticked about laying eyes on. Aah, bingo - Vanessa and some dude that appeared to be 'with her.' "Who's Vanessa's new guy?" The words had barely left his mouth when the pit of his stomach suddenly did a somersault.
His vision had landed on a brunette who happened to be offering deadly glares to the wall closest to her. Aiden was quite familiar with those glares. He hadn't seen her in a while, and he missed her, and she looked so beautiful, and for a second he basically just melted.
Completely.
Like BUTTER.
But that was only for a moment, for rationalism finally set in again. Yes, she moved on with James. He and Thalia had loads more in common. She refused to wait for him. He and Patrick were 'living it up' as bachelors. Exactly - rationalism.
He cleared his throat and surveyed the the four of them, then turned to look at Patrick, Thalia, and himself. What the hell was this, West Side Story? "So, this is awkward." 'Cause all of them had definitely seen one another. He let the awkwardness mill about for a second more, then he spoke again. "Yeah, let's go over.."
Oh hey, Dramamine.

Wow, this wall was an extremely useless thing to be glaring at. Ella turned away and tried to avoid looking at Aiden. Instead, she saw Vanessa and some cute guy. Oh, she was waving. Did Ella really look like she was in the mood to be nice to Vanessa? Yea, she had always felt like it was a mission to talk to the girl. So she just rolled her eyes slightly and looked back to Aiden and the beeeeyotch. It was really nice how not even one of them wanted to come over and say hi, wasn't it? PFFT.
Clearing her throat, Ella shifted from the refreshments table and onto the dance floor. Dance yo' problems away. Yeah, like that would work.
Glancing back to her EX and his cling-on whilst she danced, Ella was absolutely mortified when she saw them kissing. She was THAT mad, that her teeth began audibly grinding, and she was beginning to contemplate going over and snogging Patrick. Hmm, that would be interesting. Flirting with his best friend. But, UGH, she couldn't possibly do that with PATRICK. Talk about EW.
But she needed to do something, so she marched right on over to the trio, fake smile painted on her face. "Heeeeeey. Patrick. Aiden..." She looked at each of them on greeting, then turned to Thalia. "Sorry, I can't remember your name..." Was EVIL-TRAMP her name?
"Why, thank you." Nathan beamed, adjusting his collar as he replied the compliment. "You're looking beautiful yourself, dear." He held up her hand and kissed it lightly, like a real gent. You don't find gents like Nathan Young very often. Right. Off to the party! They began walking, and he was a happy chappy, until she mentioned some of her old friends being there, too. From school? "Gotcha. Are you saying that Patrick will be here?" He said over a small sigh that he tried to suppress, but couldn't. Before Nathan had a chance to speak or look at the surroundings of the mansion, Vanessa was pulling him to the refreshments table.
OHYUM.
He was about to get himself and Vanessa a drink, but he was momentarily distracted when she grabbed hold of his hand. Turning, he followed her gaze over to the group of old friends that she was on about. And, viola... there was Patrick. There was two others, too. Judging by Jason's looks towards them, he wasn't a fan of either. Hmm, won't this night be interesting...?
Aw, bless her. "Don't worry about me, babe. As long as I'm no rebound boyfriend, then it's all good." He said, grinning as if it were a joke. Yea, he would play it off as a joke but he still had concerns that it was the truth. No matter what happened, Nathan never proved to be good enough for Vanessa in the end. His smile faded at the thought, and he turned back to the drinks. "Firewhiskey for madam?" Or maybe something a little more classy...
On second thoughts, there was nothing classy about this party apart from the house looking nice.

On second thoughts, there was nothing classy about this party apart from the house looking nice.
Vanessa nodded towards Nathan. "Patrick might be here, but now...I'm sure he's here." She stated, biting her lip as she cast another glance over to the trio. She noticed Ella roll her eyes at herself but she didn't take too much on it. They were both going through rough patches in their life and she didn't expect the girl to be nice to her. Then again, she never really expected the girl to be nice to her. Eh.
Then Nathan brought up not being a rebound boyfriend and Vanessa couldn't help but feel even guiltier. No, he wasn't a rebound boyfriend because she truly did love the guy, but he was helping her at the same time to get over Patrick. She gave a slight smile and nodded. "You're not a rebound boyfriend, I would never do that to you." She said giving his hand a squeeze. "But firewhiskey really doesn't sound good at the moment." Nothing really sounded good at the moment actually.
The brunette turned towards her cousin who seemed to be in the same place she was. "Jason, we're going to go over there, okay? I mean if we're "okay" with everything that's going on then we have no need to be mad." She whispered. "And even if we are mad, obviously, don't show it. You're a great guy, I know it, and think about it; Thalia might be Aiden's rebound due to the break-up between him and Ella." She gave her cousin's shoulder a squeeze and locked arms with him. They were going over.
The walk towards the thre-no four of them now, hmm, Ella had joined. Okay so four of them, seemed a lot longer than it was, but Vanessa was determined to show how happy and confident she was around these people. "Aiden, Thalia, Ella, Patrick..." She said with a wave as she joined the group. ...Maybe this wasn't such a great idea.
Jason kept on glancing back over to Aiden and Thalia as he stood there sipping his butterbeer. Butterbeer never tasted so good at a moment like this, especially for what happened next. He saw Aiden look back at him and then KISS Thalia. He drank the rest of his butterbeer and through the paper cup down on the ground. Oh yes, he was mad, angry really. However, he was confused as well. Thalia and him...they were a couple but it had always been complicated seeming as they never really saw each other. So whatever they were confused him, but he still had the feelings for her and the fact that she was ...cheating?...on him made him frustrated. What was this anyways?
Then Vanessa started giving him advice on all of this and he couldn't help but roll his eyes. The brave Vanessa tries to come to the rescue on these things. Before he knew it though, his cousin had interlocked their arms and started to drag him along towards the group. "What are you doing?" He muttered, his eyes widening just a bit. As they got to the group he got out of Vanessa's grip and tried to look anywhere but Thalia or Aiden. "Hey Patrick, how's it been?" He asked trying to make conversation with someone he didn't have a problem with here. Sure, Vanessa, would probably kill him after this but he could care less.
Patrick looked over at the strawberries as Aiden said they were good. Yeah... he had never been a huge fan of the red fruit. It was something about the countless tiny seeds in them. He didn't say anything to him though and picked up a piece of the angel food cake instead, dipping it in the chocolate and eating it. Mmm... good. He barely paid any attention to what Aiden and Thalia were saying, but focused in on Vanessa at that guy. That disgusted him so much. He started drinking his firewhiskey again and turned to look at Thal and Aiden again---and that's when he saw the two kissing?!?
Since when were they that close?
Daaang he needed to find some chick to make Vanessa jealous with. He doubted it would be that hard considering more than half of the girls here were sleazy enough anyway. Patrick shrugged as Aiden asked who the guy was. "I don't know. Some dude from her 18th birthday." That showed how much he cared to remember his name after he met him. Actually he didn't know if he ever did meet him.
His jaw almost dropped when Aiden said they should go over. "Are you men---" Patrick was about to finish that when Ella suddenly appeared out of nowhere to join them. He shut his mouth and grinned at her. "Hey Ella. What's up?" he greeted her, eying Aiden.
Then BAM. The rest of the group from the other side of the table came over. Which included Vanessa. His eyes fell on her when she said his name and they didn't really want to leave. Her dress fit her so well and the way her hair fell looked per---- GOD! What was he thinking? He quickly blinked and looked away. "Jason, Vanessa..." he greeted with a slight smile. "Sorry man, but I can't seem to remember your name," he added, looking at the guy.
Ehhh he wasn't that sorry.
He looked at Jason when he spoke. "I've never been better." Liiieeee. It's not like he had anything against Jason, but he didn't really care what he had been up to.
Thalia was too concentrated on trying to figure out what Jason was doing here to listen to anything Aiden was saying. It didn't look like he had a date... did he come because of the chance of running into her here? Pshh... no way. She hadn't even known she was coming until Aiden asked. She hadn't seen the flippin guy in what... a little more than a year? Her thoughts were cut short when she heard Aiden speak again. "Yeah totally," she smiled at him. She wanted to dance. BAD.
Then she felt Aiden's arm go around her waist and wondered what he was up to when... leaned down and kissed the corner of her lips? "What was that for?" she asked slightly confused. Haha not that it bothered her at all. She'd go for that from him any day. The confusion came from the fact they weren't.... an item. Thal didn't honestly know what they were. Friends with benefits maybe? Hmm... she started to think it had something to do with Ella standing feet from them.
Okay no. There was no way she was going over there. Nope. Nadda. Noooo way. Instead it looked like that group would be coming over here. And there was Ella, saying 'hello' to the guy's and forgetting her name. "It's Thalia, Ella. Nice to see you again too," she greeted her, sarcasm in her tone. Ella and her had never been on best terms. It always went back to Aiden when it came to her. She looked at Vanessa and said, "Hi Vanessa, Nathan, and...." She moved her eyes to the 17 year old. "Jason."
Ooooookay now came the awkward part. What to say...

He started drinking his firewhiskey again and turned to look at Thal and Aiden again---and that's when he saw the two kissing?!?

Aiden took another glance at Vanessa and the 'dude from V's 18th birthday.' It was weird seeing Vanessa on the arm of someone other than his best mate. Really weird. "Aah, right." He took another glance at Pat, only to catch him slamming his drink down. Yep. The guy wasn't too happy about his ex's new beau.
Anddd, Thalia was up for dancing - woot! "Sweet, whenever you want." Because he trusted her taste in music, of course. The side of his mouth hitched in a grin when he caught Jason smashing his disposable cup in outrage over that lil peck. heh. He turned back to Thal again when she spoke. "Oh, I just wanted to rile Jason up a bit. He was looking like he wanted to post a 'Property of Jason' sign around your neck or something," Aiden said, amused. It also seemed to have sparked a little fire in Ella too, although that wasn't intentional.
Speaking of Ella, he glanced her way as she took up the dance floor. That was, until Vanessa and company made their way over to them. "Hey, Vanessa. Jason." He offered Vanessa a smile, then nodded a hello to the bloke she was with. Pat was probably just staring the dude down, heh. His eyes followed Ella when he saw her coming their way.
"Hey, Ella," Aiden greeted in return, a small smile on his face even in spite of the fake one she had plastered on. Pfft. He was quite aware that she remembered Thalia's name just fine. "James couldn't make it tonight?" What a shame.

Ella was glad to see that Patrick was the first to speak up. Yes, Patrick Dubois was purposely going to be the subject of her attention tonight. She didn't even care if it would tick Vanessa off. "Nothing much. Livin' it up. Having a good time. Aiden, you should try it." She looked briefly to her ex with an encouraging smile, then looked back to Patrick. "What about you? You know, I forgot how good you looked in a suit." She may be faking this but he really did look good. Aiden looked sliiiightly hotter, though. But that was unspeakable right now.
Okaaaay, Vanessa and her acquaintances had joined them now, and Ella simply muttered, "All right.." Not even as a question. She couldn't be bothered.
-___-
Since when did Aiden get so sarcy? "Unfortunately not. We've just been spending sooo much time together recently, that I decided to come alone tonight." Not to neccesarily get some space from the guy, but a lame party like this wasn't exactly James' style and she also didn't want him mixing with any of her old friends. He'd try and run off with Vanessa or something...
Daaaarn it. He was here. Pushing the disappointment out of his mind, Nathan smiled and shrugged. "Oh well. At least I know that you're all mine tonight." And that he didn't have to watch Patnessa get all lovey-dovey. Finally, he had some answers. He was about 99% convinced with Vanessa's non-rebound talk, and that was good enough for him. "Good. I dunno if I could handle another break up from you." Although, if it didn't work this time, MAYBE he should try and move on.
"Firewhiskey, it is." He turned back to the refreshments table and filled her cup to the top with firewhiskey, then filled his own. "There ya go." He handed Vanessa her drink, then took a very large gulp of his own. He'd be needing that tonight, that's for sure.
Oh, lovely. Now they were approaching the dreaded trio. Ohgod, ohgod, ohgod. He was scared, yeah, but he appeared calm and collected on the outside. He felt that he had to prove himself right now, ya know?! To the girlfriend's friends...
He coughed shortly, "Hi." Yes, hi people that he didn't know. Wanna make him feel more uncomfortable? Please, keep going. SNoOORT. Patrick had forgotten his name, had he? Yeah, right! He was being a douchebag, which is probably why Vanessa broke up with him! OOH, BURN.. "Nathan. Nathan Young." And don't you beeeches forget it.

Vanessa nodded. "Of course, I'm all yours." She said kissing his cheek. Then he started going about how he couldn't handle another break-up and her eyes widened a bit. This boy was making her go crazy with all the nervousness and guiltyness. Ahhhh, shush for a second, Nathan! While she was glancing at the trio she felt Nathan hand her something and she looked down at the cup of firewhiskey. She never liked firewhiskey, she never liked seeing people drink it either, especially Patrick. However, tonight it was going to be different. She glanced over at Patrick once more and downed the firewhiskey. "Thanks Nathan." She responded.
While she was joined with the group now she could feel the tension between all of them and she was going to be as confident as she could be through it all. Seeming as it was going to be a longgg night. She narrowed her eyes a bit as Patrick said he couldn't remember Nathan's name. How did he not remember? Before she could respond, Nathan had said his name and she couldn't help but mentally thank him. "Yes, this is Nathan, my boyfriend." She said, smiling as confidently as she could. She was definitely going to show him off. However, she couldn't help but notice her cousin's terrifying quietness beside her. He was never that quiet, never.
Hmm... "How've you all been, it seems like I haven't seen you all in forever." V said, wanting to ease just a bit of the tension. She hoped it would do at least some good, some good of not trying to pay attention to how hot Patrick looked at the moment. Not that she was looking of course.
Jason ignored all the loveydoveyness Nathan and Vanessa were having at the moment due to the fact he kept on staring down Aiden and Thalia. He was angry, totally angry but now that the fact they were joining the entire group just made him frustrated.
He nodded towards everybody in acknoledgement, staying quiet. He wasn't going to say anything for fear of bursting out in anger or something. He just listened to everybody talk. He noticed Vanessa looking at him for something and he just shrugged his shoulders like there was nothing wrong. His plan was to stay quiet, while he threw momentarily glances at Thalia. He really needed to talk to this chick.

:: Scene Two ::
A dinner at Aiden Chevalier's is set up for the celebration of Ella and Aiden's rekindled relationship. Patrick and Vanessa are invited to celebrate with them as they catch up on memories and happenings in their life. However, Aiden will try to help Patrick get back together with Vanessa while the dinner goes on. Who knows what will happen...
Vanessa Campbell apparated to the front of Aiden's place and knocked on the door, waiting for an answer. As she waited she smiled at the thought of Aiden and Ella having a celebration for getting back together. It was nice though and she knew that Ella didn't have to worry about Aiden being with anybody else anymore. Although it made her wonder about Thalia and how she was doing with Jason. Jason wasn't talking very much anymore lately so she didn't really have a clue about what was going on with them.
"Is anyone in there?" She called, knocking on the door once more. She didn't mean to sound rude, but it would be good to sit than stand here for another five minutes.

Aiden slid two homemade pizzas out of the oven and set them on a cooling rack on the counter. Couldn't go wrong with pizza, right? He'd tossed together a salad as well, topped with mandarin oranges, strawberry slices, and diced apples. Salad with fruit was his favorite, and he figured he wouldn't get any complaints about it.
When a few knocks sounded from the front door, he made his way out of the kitchen and into the next room. With Sadie living here temporarily, things had certainly been a lot tidier around the place, that was for sure. After swinging open the door, he was met with a waiting Vanessa. "Hiya, V," he smiled genially, then moved aside for her to come into the apartment. "How've you been? You look great." He smirked inwardly, thinking of how Patrick was sure to be tortured by the girl's looks, especially with the two of them not dating at the moment. Poor fella.

Sadie walked in front of the mirror on her dresser one last time to make sure she looked picture perfect. She turned a little to make sure her backside looked fine and suddenly heard the doorbell rang. Who was---? Oh that's right, Aiden had invited Ella, Vanessa, and Patrick over for dinner/get-together type thing. Too bad she couldn't stick around. The important thing was Aiden's love life was back on track and her's...well she guessed she'd figure that out tonight.
The blonde grabbed the clutch on her bed and opened the door, heading toward the living room. She supposed she would stay around long enough to say 'hello', then head out. "Vanessa! It's great to see you again!" Sadie exclaimed, making her way to stand next to her big brother. One greeting down, two more to go. She looked over at Aiden with a concerned expression. "Ai, do I look alright?" she asked hesitantly, tugging at the end of her dress. She felt a little kiddish asking her brother how she looked.
Patrick ran a hand through his hair one last time as he made his way to his best mate's house. Good gosh, it had been way too long since he had seen his friend. That's what work required of him though. The memory of his last visit appeared in his brain and he smiled to himself. What fun they had had. This visit he wasn't looking forward to nearly as much as his last one. Well actually he had mixed feelings. It was to his relief Ella and Aiden were back together, but his nerves were starting up due to the fact he was seeing Vanessa again. There last encounter hadn't been too brilliant.
The man got to the front door and knocked, stuffing his hand's in his pockets. He wondered who was already here.

Ella Ainsworth had been walking on sunshine for the past few weeks. Despite the fact that Aidella had been together for ages prior to the break-up, she felt that they were a much stronger couple now. And she aslo finally appreciated him a bit better. Pushing her happiness aside for a moment, Ella was actually running a bit late for Aiden's small get together, and she felt a bit bad. The nineteen-year-old apparated to her boyfriends place, and approached the front door, noticing Patrick standing there, too.
"Hey, Pattykins!" Hadn't used that one in a while. Clicking her casual high heels as she walked, Ella smiled at her friend then let herself in. Bit informal but she didn't think Aiden would mind. Would be embarrassing if it was locked, though! "Come on in, Pat." She said, standing aside for him.

Now, where is that Aiden?
Aiden's head swiveled in the direction of his half-sister when she soon appeared from her room. He smiled at her, then noticed the concern spreading across her features. What was this? Ohh right right, she was asking how she looked. "You look very pretty, Sadie," he smiled, knowing that her date would think the same. And more, no doubt. "Reminds me of.. what's her name.... Marilyn Monroe?" Yes, her. Anyway. He leaned over closer to her and spoke a little lower, "Soo, if you've got any problems with this fella," he shook his fist and grinned. ".. Lemme know."
Then, hearing the front door open again, he looked over to see Ella letting herself - and Patrick - into the flat. "Hey, you two," he greeted, glad to see that they now had the whole gang here. Still in the afterglow of their getting-back-together, Aiden beamed over at Ella as she shut the door and joined them properly. His girlfriend was so gorgeous. "What's up, mate?" He asked, slapping Pat on the shoulder, then turning slightly so his friend could get a better view of his ex. "Vanessa just got here as well." Mhmmm. That's right. Aiden waited an extra second or two to allow juuust enough time for that tacit eye communication thing to go on between Patrick and Vanessa. You know, that whole 'Oh mah gahhhd, I still want you' thing. He then stifled a smirk as he moved towards the kitchen.
"So, on the menu tonight is homemade pizza," he announced quite proudly. By now, the lot of them should have known to just help themselves with it all.

Vanessa finally got invited in by Aiden and smiled as he complimented her. "Thanks Aiden, you look very handsome as well." She smiled and let herself into the house. She heard more people at the door and quickly walked towards the table, taking a seat. It was already going to be awkward enough with Patrick here and she didn't want to get a head start on seeing him either.
She noticed Sadie and waved. "It's nice seeing you as well." She said. She heard Aiden call out that they were eating homemade pizza and her stomach grumbled in response. So that meant everybody was here now. Ehh...this was going to be a long night.
An extra big smile formed on Sadie's face. Phew. So she wasn't going to have to return to her room and change her entire look. Pfft...not like she had ever done that before. Maybe once or twice. Who was counting?"Thanks," she beamed. It was always wise to ask family how you looked first. They told you the truth even if it hurt. Marilyn Monroe eh? "Well, I did get this dress at a store selling vintage clothing so who knows...it may be one of her's that accidentally got shipped to London," the blonde said in a joking manner. She suddenly rolled her eyes and gave him a little shove at his comment and fist gesture. "Trust me, there won't be any need of your oh-so-mighty knuckles of steel."
Unless Charlie didn't turn out the man she thought him to be. Or if somehow, during her time in that club, something went bad. Which she doubted would happen. Ohhh, back to being all cheery for more arriving guests. "Heeeeey you there lovelies," Sadie drew out, spotting Ella and Patrick walk through the door.
Pizza tonight? Good thing she was going to be goooone. Not that Aiden was a bad cook. She just didn't like pizza. Bleh.
Pat heard a very familiar voice call him a very familiar name. A grin came upon his face as he spotted Ella walking toward the apartment. "Hey to you Ellantor," he said cheekily. Merlin's it was a relief Ella and Aiden were back together. He didn't think he could take another one of Ella's depression spells. As she reached the door and opened it, he wanted to smack himself in the forehead for not doing so earlier. How many times had he been here before? Every single other time he let himself in. "Right."
It had to be the lack of sleep or student's obnoxious chatting still ringing in his head.
When he walked in, he was greeted with a slap on the back by Aiden. "Just the usual mate," he answered casually with a shrug. "You?" Mmmm...did he smell pizza? He noticed how considerably cleaner it was then walk he usually walked into. "Finally decided to pick things up eh?" he asked, but that was before he saw Sadie standing there. Didn't he see somewhere in the twitter universe that Sadie had moved it? He gave the young lady a friendly head nod. "Nice to see you too."
Then it was back to his best mate mentioning Vanessa. She was here? He hadn't even noticed. Erm...that was probably not much of a good thing to do. She hadn't changed a bit though. Still the beautiful brunette he had seen what felt like ages ago. He didn't know what to say or what to do. He figured he'd let the evening unfold as it may. Patrick felt too awkward to say anything.

"Hayloo, babe." Ella grinned back at Aiden then proceeded to the living room where she flopped onto the sofa. She didn't want to get all lovey-dovey with her boyfriend right now for two reasons. One, she didn't like doing that sort of thing so publicly. And two, she was very aware of their two single friends in the room and she didn't want to rub it in. Homemade pizza, eh? Sounded simple enough but it was a surprise that he didn't just order a pizza instead of making it himself. "Oooh, get you, Mr. Cook." Muahah.
Right, more hellos were needed because Ella was starting to feel rude.
"Hey, Sadie! Vanessa." She sent them both a smile and a curt nod. Ella got along with Sadie swimmingly, but Vanessa, not so much. It's not like they weren't friends, cause they were! But their friend-compatibility was quite low. The nineteen-year-old looked back to Sadie, "you look nice. Off out?" She looked a bit dressed up for a simple pizza meal.
"Hurry up with that pizza!" Her stomach was grumbling, and she also didn't want anymore of this standing around. The group needed to sit down and eat, so that conversation would be easier.

She noticed Sadie and waved. "It's nice seeing you as well." She said. She heard Aiden call out that they were eating homemade pizza and her stomach grumbled in response. So that meant everybody was here now. Ehh...this was going to be a long night.

Aiden's cooking better deliver tonight!
OR ELLLSE.
"Why, how nice of you to say so, Vanessa." Although Vanessa may have just been being polite; she was just nice that way. Anyway, back to Sadie's outfit. It really did bear a striking resemblance to Marilyn Monroe. And she was a blondie and all that, so.. mhmm. He lifted an eyebrow, intrigued by her little fact. "Oh yeah? Well, you never know, Marilyn." A smirk played at his lips.
When she commented on his 'knuckles of steel,' he lifted a fist to his mouth and kissed his knuckles. BAM BAM BAM. ;P
He nodded to Patrick's lame response, only to answer just as vaguely. "Aah, ya know. This and that. Did you ever get that enduro? We can go out riding, then." And Aiden loved his awesome RED one. Finally decided to pick things up..? Oh. Clean the apartment. Yeahhhh.. "That was all the neat freak's doing," he said, casually hitching a thumb Sadie's way.
Aiden smiled at Ella's greeting before she wandered over to the couch. He knew she had never been one for PDA. Mr. Cook? Hah! "Mr. Cook is spot on." Although he was a little put out that no intense eye-conversation went on between Patnessa, he simply motioned Pat and Vanessa into the kitchen, leading the way. "So yeah, you guys can bring your pizza in there," he said, meaning in there, in the living room. 'Cause that's what he was gonna do. He grabbed two slices and put them on a paper plate, then snatched a firewhiskey from the fridge. "Keep your pants on, slavedriver," Aiden responded to Ella's comment. He plopped her plate and drink onto the coffee table, then flashed her a closed grin before going back into the kitchen to get himself some pizza.
"So..?" He came back out, the tip of his slice stuck in between his teeth. "You guys like the pizza?" He fell backwards onto the sofa and took another bite. It passed, for sure.
He grabbed the TV remote and flicked on the set, just for some background noise, only to notice that the channel was playing some horrible romance movie. Blehh, it was the most excruciating of them all: The Journal.
.. Or, that didn't sound right. No.. no. Notebook! Yes, it was called The Notebook.
"Aah, yeah. You know, I really can't stand these romance movies very well, but I've had to put up with them every now and then ever since I found out how much Patrick loves them." He took a swig of his firewhiskey and shook his head, keeping his face serious. "Isn't this one your favorite, Patrick?"
