It’s Christmas at Hogwarts, a magical time for everyone. This year, for the first time ever, almost everyone in the school has gone home. Everyone, except six fifth years. Liesel O’ Donovan, Alexis Howard, Saoirse Mayberry, Olivia Eagle, Jack MacElderry, Teddy Griffiths and Lev Anitpov, who have nowhere to go. And by everyone, it’s everyone. Staff and all. So the six are trapped in Hogwarts alone, and with no Hogwarts Express they have to survive to fortnight with each other, with surprised involving mistletoe, secret passages and a sudden shaking that will hurt everyone.

Liesel was born in to an Irish/Russian family. Not exactly your typical combination, but there you go. Her mother was Russian, born in the slums of St Petersburg, her father was from Monaghan. She had a twin, and an older brother, Grigori, but when she was five, her parents divorced, and her mother whisked Liesel and Lyra away to Russia, meanwhile Grigori stayed with their father.
While both parents were muggles, there were rumoured traces of magical blood in both families. When she was about nine, they thought she was a Squib of some sort, because she could only turn her tears black when she cried. Her mother always favoured Lyra, because she was prettier, more Russian and a lot more normal. Liesel however, was small, quiet, mousey and strange. Lyra adapted quickly to life in the slums, and took to pick pocketing quite nicely, but Liesel found her solace elsewhere. She used to sneak away to libraries, and tidy the books, and in return would be given a couple of small coins. Her mother accepted this. She was also not very good at speaking Russian, and often resorted to speaking in English, and even in Irish just to irritate her mother.
Everyone was astonished when her Hogwarts letter fluttered through the miserable crowds, and landed in her hands one evening while she was tidying the library. She wrote a letter to her mother and sister -she made her best efforts to write in Russian- and told them what had happened. She also told them she would make her own way to England, and work from there. She promised to find her father and brother, then write to them all as often as she could. She promised to return home every Summer.
Liesel succeeded in making it to England, but it was very difficult. She took some books from the library and slipped them in to her satchel. Then she sold them, and earned enough money to buy a one-way ticket from St Petersburg airport to Heathrow. She then walked in her only clothes and worn shoes to London, and found Diagon Alley. Old Tom took pity on her, and offered her a free room in the Leaky Cauldron for the Summer, in exchage she had to run a few errands for him. She wrote to her mother often, but never received any reply.
Liesel remained quiet and shy, but made more friends than she expected to. She was sorted in to Ravenclaw, and became best friends with Teddy Griffiths, and still is. She used to go to her sister for Christmas, who had moved to Scotland, but she received a letter which informed her that Lyra had gambled what little money she had, and has returned to Russia. Liesel had no intention of returning there, and thus remained at home for Christmas.

Liesel has never been kissed, but Teddy is her best friend. She has a crush on Lev.
Alexis and Jack have been going out since third year, but she flirts with Teddy a lot.
Saoirse and Lev go on dates and snog, but they’re not officially going out yet, but she really wants to.
Olivia wants Jack, and is willing to do ANYTHING to get him.
Jack has been going out with Alexis for two years, and he really likes her, though he hates when she flirts with Teddy
Teddy really likes Liesel, but he doesn’t know how to tell her, but he knows she likes Lev.
Lev keeps trying to drop hints to Saoirse that he doesn’t want to be with her, but she doesn’t get it.

Saoirse was always very pretty; she was a pretty baby, a pretty little girl, a pretty little child, a pretty young adult and now a pretty teen before she turns seventeen and became a pretty adult. On top of it all, she was popular and she always knew the right strings to pull to get things her way. She was an expert flirtator but never really got the chance to after falling in love several dates and having several snogging sessions with the gorgeous Lev. Saoirse is generally a very selfish person but after meeting Lev, she did start to care for other people... like him. He was amazing, and she was gorgeous. Put two and two together and you get amazingly gorgeous - to her, Saoirse and Lev were the world's best and cutest couple ever. Despite her heart of ice, she does have feelings and she does get hurt but she has such an amazing poker face sometimes it's hard to tell what she's thinking and feeling. The youngest of three, though she is the twin of Ollie, she's still younger by five minutes, born to June and Terry, a HR officer manager at the University of Oxford and a Barrister at the Royal Courts of Justice, in Farnborough hospital at 6.05am, five minutes after Oliver was born, and she was a nice baby, whilst Ollie made her mother suffer, she was more "pop" and out she came. That was about the extent to her niceness though. When she arrived back home she was a fairly nice baby, as in she actually slept, whilst Ollie cried, and cried a lot, which in turn woke her up and made her cry and made her a meany.
But as a child she wasn't too bad, she had lots of friends in primary school and made her way as a baby/child model as the "cute" one, which her brother didn't like, and spent a lot of his childhood punching her and telling her she was a baby, which she technically was, but still. They went to a nice little primary school, mixing with muggleborns, despite their pureblood status and being generally popular and nice to everyone and holding everyone over to their house for jelly, cake and bouncy castles. But not muggle bouncy castles, WIZARDING bouncy castles. Which meant that everyone wanted to hang at the "awesome" house with the "awesome bouncy castle". It made her and Ollie very popular to say the least. And she never struggled with school, she had a natural aptitude to complete tests with minimal effort and a fairly good grade.
Due to their pureblood heritage, neither of them were surprised when their sister Natasha went to Hogwarts and neither were they surprised when she was sorted into Ravenclaw, but they were jealous, Natasha loved her freedom and Ollie and Olivia had nothing compared to it asides from them shouting at each other. And so, when they eventually did get their letter, on their eleventh birthday, there was nothing short of joy when they got it, and started running around, screaming like a nuthouses and just being generally hyper-city. When they arrived at Hogwarts however, they were brought down with a bump, their sister, now in her sixth year was not only a Prefect but one of the best soon-to-be-Minister-of-Magic sort of pupils you hated but everyone else loved them. Yeah. Them. And that was their elder sibling, which essentially made them rubbish compared to her. And whilst Ollie went into Ravenclaw like the rest of her family, instead being sorted into Hufflepuff, which was a shock to the system, but only a brief one because she could see she deserved to be in Hufflepuff.
And she soon gained a large group of friends, of which she was the leader of and slowly made her way up through the years. Her second year was disastrous because her sister was Head Girl, and decided to try and drum good behaviour into Hufflepuff, because she wasn't a well behaved student, not at all, and had her friendship with the Slytherin Prefect been formed, Chelsea believed that she would of spent her whole year in detention. None the less, she was still a cocky little twit. And then, eventually her sister left, and it was her job to take over ruling the school. Only Ollie wanted to do it well with rules and being good and Chelsea just wanted to be awesome and break rules. So they split hairs over it, and ended up compromising. And so the rest of the years went by with this compromise, with the deal that Ollie would leave Chelsea to deal with her own thing. And that was the same for him. He only got involved in serious cases, like the boyfriend she had once who was horrible to her and a bully, but then everyone was worried about her then.

Used to being in the background, what with four older brothers, Teddy usually comes across as shy and not too keen on talking to people he doesn't know. While he's normally mainly the listener not the talker when hanging out with his friends, there's one person he feels completely comfortable talking with: his best friend Liesel. Unless, the subject of Liesel and other boys - i.e. Lev - comes up then he's awfully quiet.
At first Teddy was a little taken aback and unsure of how to react when he found himself the subject of Alexis' constant flirting. However, now after some time he has grown accustomed to it, yes, even finds it amusing and flattering most of the times. Being the natural observer that he is he has of course noticed the way Jack isn't too happy about his friendship with Alexis but somehow he doesn't really care. He liked her and frankly, it wasn't really his problem but theirs.

The Hogwarts Express departed Hogsmeade Station, and with it the students of Hogwarts. The train was full, and the students were hyper with excitement as they thought about the Christmas holidays ahead. In fact, practically the whole school were going home this Christmas, all except seven. Liesel O'Donovan, Alexis Howard, Saoirse Mayberry, Olivia Eagle, Jack MacElderry, Teddy Griffiths and Lev Antipov. The professors and teachers had all Floo Powdered to there homes, leaving the seven students in the castle. Alone.
Liesel O' Donovan, watched out the window as she could just make out the last whiff of scarlet smoke disappear amid the snow. She sighed, as she turned around, and stood in her Ravenclaw uniform. Her knees were cold, in her skirt and stockings, so she decided to change in to something more weather appropriate. She ran nimbly up to the empty dormitery, and dressed herself in a pleated skirt, brown tights and a wooly cardigan. She had plain brogues on, and her dirty blonde hair hung loosely around her shoulders.
She came down to the Great Hall and saw the other six there, looking miserable. She sat down beside Teddy. This wouldn't be unusual for her, because she always spent Christmas at Hogwarts, but now, she was alone with five strangers and her best friend, four strangers, and Lev Antipov whom she was madly in love with.

Olivia was miffed, to the extent of cursing, glaring and just being a general brat, because she was meant to be on the train, arriving home and flying to the Alps for a skiing holiday, not stuck in the school she wanted to be out of, and with people she didn't want to be with. Excluding Jack. Because he was hot, in a sort of "bad-boy" way. He was, no one could deny it.
The brunette sat at the table, arms folded, staring moodily at the wall in silence. She had no idea what they were going to do but it was nothing to do with her, she wasn't breaking any nails for this lot. Not even if it meant missing her perfect holiday.

Saoirse saw Lev sitting at the Slytherin table and smiled. Sure, Saoirse was bummed out about not going home but at least she would see Lev, right? Of course that was an upside. She sat down next to him and kissed his cheek. "Happy holidays," she said, smoothing out her skirt as she sat. She didn't want it to get all wrinkly and stuff... it wasn't pretty. "Upset about being stuck here in Hogwarts?" she asked, with a slight pout. She was only a tad bit upset... missing out on the parties and whatnot, but not horribly so. There were some upsides that canceled out the downsides of the whole thing.

"Upset about being stuck here in Hogwarts?" she asked, with a slight pout. She was only a tad bit upset... missing out on the parties and whatnot, but not horribly so. There were some upsides that canceled out the downsides of the whole thing.
"Very much so."Lev said in a glum reply.He didn`t even care that it was Saoirse he was so bummed!Sometimes you needed so much cheering up you didn`t care who did it. He drummed his fingers on the table;waiting for something magical to happen like the headmaster flooing back and bringing them to their destinations.Now that would seriously cheer him up.

Saoirse frowned slightly. "Well, there are things people can do in a castle," Saoirse said, other than snogging that is. Not that she disliked it, it just seemed like that was all they ever did anyways. "We could always go look around the place and hang outside," she offered. He would like something like that, right? There was the lake, and if it froze over they could go skating.

To be honest Teddy wasn't too bugged about having to stay at Hogwarts for the Christmas holidays. That way he got to spend more time with Liesel. So when his mum had told him that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to go on that skiing trip after all because his dad had broken his leg, he had only been too eager to offer to stay at school.
Letting his eyes wander down the Ravenclaw house table, they fell on Jack - who for once was without Alexis - unwrapping a package. Since there was nothing else to do right now he continued to watch him finish and pull out a...cake. A delicious-looking Christmas cake. He couldn't help but smile slightly, briefly wondering what it must feel like to receive a homemade cake himself.

Olivia looked around at all of the people who were slowly getting more and more bored, her eyes resting on the attractive being from Ravenclaw. Jack. Ho yeaaaaah. He was hot and she took in his form, savouring it as he stared at the food, though she ever so slightly coiled away from it. She liked food, yes, but not cakes like that.Sighing as she looked, she stayed in her seat, before dragging her eyes away so he wouldn't see her looking at him.
But Merlin. He was hot.
The brunette ran a hand through her hair, tugging it around so it fell around her slender shoulders, and then applied a slick of vaseline, before turning around and looking at everyone. No one had an idea? Dissapointing.
So, what are we going to do? She asked them all, her eyes occasionally chanting to Jack
