Twelve-year-old Adeline has a secret. She's not totally human. She's 90% human, 5% bird, and 5% wolf.
She has been this way for as long as she can remember.
She's just recently been accepted to Hogwarts, and has a mission: to find more hybrids like her, and create a group to go against the most evil company ever: Itex, which had restored itself.
She's only got her brother, Niklas, who is 90% human, 5% German Shepard, and 5% bird.

Angel is a very powerful telepath; in book one she 'influenced' a woman to buy her Celeste, a small teddy bear dressed like an angel, in a toy store. Later,she 'influenced' a police officer into letting the flock get away penalty-free after Fang is caught driving without a license and over the speed limit. Angel can also breathe underwater and talk to fish. Angel is able to withstand the high water pressure. She can also read minds.
Generally sweet-tempered, Angel exhibits a vicious streak when using her mind-control abilities. At one point she forced an Eraser to fall out of the sky, and on another occasion made one run into a tree repeatedly. Although it seems her power may not work on Max, it is possible that she just is unwilling to mentally control her, and probably the rest of The Flock as well. Although formally uneducated, she is extremely smart for a eight-year-old. She later develops the ability to change her appearance. She can even grow feathers all over her body and make herself look like a large bird (like a bird of Paradise), or change her eye and hair color to brown
{This is My Past...Get Over it Cause I Can't Change it}
Angel was kidnapped at the very beginning of The Angel Experiment and is known as Subject Eleven to the whitecoats. It is speculated that Angel will become omnipotent later in life and will turn on the Flock, as she seems sweet but doesn't understand what the difference is between right and wrong sometimes. Readers were shown in the third book that Angel was evil, but it turns out that it was all a plan she and Max had come up with. As the series goes on, Angel frequently asks to take over the flock and become the leader in place of Max, and in FANG she finally does- the flock kick out Max as leader, and Max and Fang leave the flock. Angel acts much more grown-up in FANG, and approves of Dr. Hans' ideas. It is revealed that Angel has a Voice in her head like Max had and Ari once had. Also in FANG, Angel points a gun at Max, but it seems it had just been a trick to get Dr. Hans Gunther-Hagen's men to leave the flock alone. Angel betrays the flock and goes with Dr. Hans in this book, but returns in the end.
Although her abilities are mainly used to aid the flock, Angel is not above using them for herself, such as one instance in the fourth book where she cheats in a game of poker against some scientists onboard the research ship in Antarctica. She uses this ability in book 5 as revealed by a crew member after finding out she could read minds saying that "She took me for forty bucks!"
By Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports, the flock is re-captured by Itex . After being captured, Angel was not with the others, but as later revealed, had 'turned over' and 'sided' with the Whitecoats. This however, was seemingly just a cover to help the others out, perhaps with the aid of Jeb. Later on, when the flock is about to be 'retired', Angel turns on Ter Borcht and knocks him out, before distracting and keeping at bay the rest of the Whitecoats while Ari helped to free the rest of the flock. Max and Angel share a special bond, which is the reason why Angel "turned" on them in the third book to help them escape. Max loves Angel like a daughter, and considers Angel her favorite flock member. Their relationship changes in FANG, where Angel now wants to take Max's place as leader and betrays the flock, but she returns in the end and they seem to be okay with each other. In MAX, Angel becomes more and more disobedient, and Max must "save" her several times. Angel does end up saving the day many times in MAX, though, and in the end she is the key to solving the problem of the toxic waste and the "mountain" (the Krelps) and rescuing Max's mom. Angel approves of Max and Fang's relationship, even giving them a thumbs-up in book five in the epilogue, as they kiss in the sky.

Alex Sato, an up an coming singer, first meet James Night, an aspiring pâtissier(pastry chef), in a small pastary shop in Paris, France. The two hit it off almost instantly. They talked for over an hour, almost causing Henri to lose his job since he was "too busy flirting to actually be useful" or so his boss said. After that the two began to spend alot of time together...Well between Alex's photoshoots and James's busy schedule. After almost two years of dating, Alex's work told her she would be going to America for her next shoot. Forcing a smile Alexandria agreed to this, though she was heartbroken. She would have to leave James behind and end the relationship to focus on her work. The day before she was leaving for England she decided to break the news to James. He was shocked but he said he would follow her wherever she went, just so they could be together. James asked her to marry him and she of course said yes. Alex,18, and James,20, were married a month and expecting Cassandra after moving to America. The couple waited two years before having Alice and her twin brother Peter.
Alice was the younger twin. A fact her brother never seemed to let her forget. Alice's life was pretty normal. She loved both her parents (had her father wrapped around her finger), she was close with her sister and she had a love/hate relationship with her brother. Everything was seemingly perfect. OH! and the fact that she was witch just made things better. But nothing stays perfect for long.
One stormy night April's father was driving her and Peter home from Disneyland. The twins started to get into an argument. Their father told them to knock it off but of course they didn't listen. At a stop sign their father seperated them, placing Peter in the front seat. After that he began driving. As he went around a sharp corner and semitruck going the opposite way slide hitting their car head on. The impact killed Peter and James almost instantly and it should have killed Alice, but somehow she survived. No one could figure out how or why Alice had survived, eventually calling it a pure miracle. Though the crash did leave her in the hospital with almost every bone broken.
When she was released from the hospital she decided against talking about the crash. She locked away her ability to speak, refusing to talk. During that time her sister would come and talk to her, though Alice never answered, Cassie just talked. Alice liked it when her sister would talk to her

Max has unique abilities other than flying. She has a Voice in her head that tries to guide her, though Max often does not listen to it. At one point Max believes the Voice to be that of Jeb Batchelder, a whitecoat at the School, but he denies this, telling her "I can do The Voice. I'm not the Voice."
Max also has the ability to fly extremely fast, her top velocity at roughly 240-250mph (verified by the Director through a microchip in her arm). In addition, she is able to temporary shut down her organs, thus effectively playing dead, although this may have been possible only because she was detained in an isolation tank at the time. Once she escapes from the isolation tank, she also believes that she can smell the flock.
The Way I Act~
Max is tough, sarcastic and hates "girliness". She has turned down many opportunities in a meeting (in which she wears clothes that "aren't blood splattered, which is the best you can get out of me") to become famous such as becoming models, actors, etc. Max acts as a motherly figure to The Flock, nurturing them and looking out for them. She says she is "worried with herself" when she describes Nudge's hair in a girly way. Max is often annoyed by herself for things like worrying about her appearance, etc. She once recalls how "last year, I would chop off my hair with a knife when it got in my eyes." She is independent and strong, but has never known a true mother or father figure, aside from Jeb (who she later had mixed feelings about) and Dr. Martinez, who is her biological mother, though she does not know it in The Angel Experiment. She wants to be loved, though she often denies it. Max also has a strong relationship with Angel, whom she says "is like a daughter to her."
Andd My Very Complex and Confusing Love Life</3 Fang
Fang: "Man, you weigh a freaking ton. What have you been eating, rocks?"
Max: "Why, is your head missing some?"
Max shows signs of attraction towards Fang, though she denies it. Max kisses Fang on a beach near New York City after Fang has been injured in a fight with Ari. She does this very suddenly and cannot come up with an explanation for her actions, saying it happened "just like that". Max shows intense jealousy when Fang kisses a red-haired girl named Lissa. However, she goes out with a boy named Sam, whom she thinks is cute, and later kisses him, making Fang jealous.
Later, Angel mentions before a football game starts that "...Fang still loves you...". Fang kisses Max in a cave again. Max says her mind "shorts out" while Fang is kissing her, but she then tells Fang she's "not sure" and flies off, confused. Also in the same book, Max is given Valium to prepare her for surgery, and while under its influence she tells Fang that she "loves him so much". Fang later teases her about this, causing her to get immensely angry.
Fang kisses Max another time, and this time Max says she "loves it... loves him." When she finally clears her head, however, she flies away again. However, Max shows more jealousy when Fang gets close to a young scientist, Dr. Brigid Dwyer.
Max admits to loving Fang, and knows that he is her "soulmate." Angel tells Max things like "Fang loves you", "Maybe you should give him more than a break...Fang could totally be your boyfriend. You guys could get married." Fang kisses Max in the desert and asks her out, with none of the other kids. She says she loves kissing him (she says she wishes she could spend all of her time doing it), and that she "highly recommends it".

Max:"I dont have a mustache you idoit, and neither do you. Maybe, in a few years, we can always hope"
Although a relationship with Iggy is purely fictional, 'Miggy' persists among fans. It is true that unlike Fang, Iggy has never seemed to truly quarrel with Max. She cares about her deeply, and vise versa; although most fanfictions revolve around Max's view of him as purely a brother, or even a son. In ANGEL when Ella talks to Max about how she has a crush on Iggy, Max feels strange, as if hearing Ella talking about having a crush on her son. A son as old as she is, she reminds herself. {<--This should happen but I like Fax better than Miggy}
Dylan
In Fang, another boy is introduced into The Flock, Dylan. She finds herself staring at him, her heart beat quickening when he comes in, ect. However, she completely denies any affections for him and continues to love Fang. In the end of the same book, Fang leaves her, saying that it's not good for the flock for them to be together, leaving Max heartbroken and upset.
In Angel, Dylan gets closer to Max and she gets confused about her feelings for him. At the beginning, he teases her and makes her angry, but then kisses her. Max and Dylan flies off to find out more about the Gen 77 enhanced kids, and they slept in a cave alone where Dylan puts his arm around her. Max meets up with Fang again to help him and his gang destroy the "Doomsday Group". Fang finds out that Dr. Hans Gunther-Hagen and Jeb wants Max and Dylan to breed. Fang gets upset as he thinks that Dylan is his "replacement". Max gets also upset when she sees Max II (Max's clone) is back and with Fang. Max gets jealous and she and Fang argues about. However, she has strong feelings for Dylan when he kisses her again after singing and handing her a rose. Angel then tells her that she could be with "one of them, or the other, or neither". Max argues again with Fang, asking him,"How could you ever stop loving me?" Dylan kisses Max again in Paris when Max flew off to think about her feelings for Fang and Dylan. Max found Dylan's kisses "comfortable". (<---Just wanted to add this part of Max's lil love life(: )

In Angel, Dylan gets closer to Max and she gets confused about her feelings for him. At the beginning, he teases her and makes her angry, but then kisses her. Max and Dylan flies off to find out more about the Gen 77 enhanced kids, and they slept in a cave alone where Dylan puts his arm around her. Max meets up with Fang again to help him and his gang destroy the "Doomsday Group". Fang finds out that Dr. Hans Gunther-Hagen and Jeb wants Max and Dylan to breed. Fang gets upset as he thinks that Dylan is his "replacement". Max gets also upset when she sees Max II (Max's clone) is back and with Fang. Max gets jealous and she and Fang argues about. However, she has strong feelings for Dylan when he kisses her again after singing and handing her a rose. Angel then tells her that she could be with "one of them, or the other, or neither". Max argues again with Fang, asking him,"How could you ever stop loving me?" Dylan kisses Max again in Paris when Max flew off to think about her feelings for Fang and Dylan. Max found Dylan's kisses "comfortable". (<---Just wanted to add this part of Max's lil love life(: )
