School is over and Isobel is home for the summer. Her aunt has a major story she has to write, so she's going to be staying in one place for a long time. She invited Isobel and her siblings to fly out to see her. Isobel and Sara agreed right away, and her other siblings got permission from their parents. So the five of then flew to France for the summer.

In order to be closer to the news story, Joanna(her aunt) was given a HUGE house to stay in, waaaay bigger than a house for six people. So she said they they could invite friends. Isobel immediately sent a letter to her friends from school, and Jake called ugh Maybelle. Isobel plans on playing soccer of course, since she can't be on a league that summer. What other mischief will all these people get into over the summer? Will Isobel be able to stand Maybelle?

Big houses always intimidated Sammy. Even if she lived in a big house herself, but the thing was, other people's houses just looked more intimidating. She stood a good two meters from the door. She'd worn the "Frenchest" outfit she had and had a cat under her arm, who still looked restless from Sammy's mum aparating them here. She took a breath and walked to the front door, knocked 5 times and waited.

Isobel was sitting on her bed tossing a soccer ball up and down when she heard five tentative knocks on the door. She barely heard them, but they still startled her. She forgot to catch the soccer ball and it landed on her face. She didn't have enough time to feel any pain though. She jumped off her bed and ran to the door. When she got there she threw it open, and hoped desperately it wasn't the mailman.

YAY! 'twas Sammy!

Isobel smiled. "Bonjour Sammy," she said. She wondered if Katie was coming, she had invited her. "Come in. You're the first to get here." She stepped out of the way to let Sammy get into the house. When she saw Sammy's cat she wondered briefly where Star was. Oh well, she's turn up eventually.

Maybelle apparated to the house and looked at it. Wow; it was big! She walked up to the door and knocked on it. Hopefully Jake would answer it and not stupid Isobel.

Sammy smiled. At least someone she knew had answered the door unlike that time she went to Conner's. That was scary. Sammy shuffled inside and Moggy meowed and started wriggling around in her arms. So she put her down. "This place is really nice" she said, not really sure what else to say. It was a nice place and it intimidated Sammy A LOT.

Isobel half smiled as she closed the door behind her. "Thanks," she said. "It's kind of weird though; it's really big. I'm not used to houses this big. It's my aunts boss' house. She gets to stay in it because she's working on some big story." Isobel still wasn't sure what.

Just then, she heard more knocks. Isobel opened the door. Ew; it was Maybelle. She closed the door again without letting the girl in. "Jake," she yelled. "Your girlfriend's here." Then she turned back to Sammy. "Want me to give you a tour?"

"Tell me about it. I thought my house was big" Sammy said looking around. FREAKING HUGE I TELL YOU. She didn't bother asking who Jake was, or who her girlfriend was because she didn't really care. Her mind was filled with the hugeness of the house. "Yeah that'd be great" she said, picking Moggy up. There was no way she was letting her cat out of her sight in this house.

Isobel grinned. "Come on," she motioned her forward and began walking up the stairs. "I'm more familiar with the upstairs; I haven't been downstairs much." She had only been there for about three days. Isobel led Sammy to the right and pointed to the first door on the right side. "That is the bathroom." It was good to know where that was. Isobel pointed to the room next to it. "That's Addie's room. Adelaide is my little sister; she's six." Then she pointed to the room beside Addie's. "That is Sara's room, she's my older sister, she's seventeen. Across the hall from Sara's room is Jaymie's room. Jaymie is ten. And the right side of Jaymie's room is Jakes."

Isobel turned around and led Sammy to the other side of the staircase. That hallways was longer. "Over here is my room." She pointed to the first door on the left. "The rest of the rooms on this floor are empty; they're for guests. You can look in them and choose which room you want to stay in." Isobel pointed all the way down the hallway to the door at the end. "In there, is a library." It was pretty cool.

Sammy took it all in. Yup. This house was bigger than her's. She nodded occasionally just so Isobel knew she was at least trying to remember all the places. "awesome" she said at the end. Yep, she would forget where everything was within the next hour at least. At the moment names seemed more important. Adelaide, Sara, Jaymie and library. Wait no. Adelaide, Sara, Jaymie and .... Josh. Nope that's not it either. Adelaide, Sara, Jaymie aaaannnndddd ... JAKE THAT'S IT. Okay, she's got it now.

Nulu has found a new sport that she can do and is good at. May this be her room?

Nunually thanked the man who had picked her up from the airport and smiled as she saw the house. She had seen many houses, yet this was the first time that she had seen a wizards home. A smile spread on her face and she headed towards the main gate. Her mother would have loved the place, soon her smile dissapeared. She had not told a soul. She had inherited all the money, and even the company with the help of her mother's frien who was considering in adopting Nulu. She had comed to attempt to escape from her misery she did not wish to remain in that house all alone and she wondered if her mothers friend wanted her as a daughter or wanted the money that came with Nulu. She shook her head this was going to be a fun summer, nothing bad had to occur and she was going to be with friends.

Her legs had already begun to walk on their own and she was already at the door when she saw a girl she had not meet before. She smiled. "Hello, do you know if anyone is home?" she asked and saw that the door was open. She looked inside and smiled. "Isobel its me Nulu I came after all." she said in a loud voice and giggled as she heard an echo. She turned towards the girl while Isobel came to greet her. She never entered a home without being invited in. "Bonjour je m'appele Nunually Mustang et toi?" she asked her wondering she if she spoke french "my name is Nunually and yours?" she asked with a cheeful smile.

Nika arrived at the BIG house, more like mansion in her mom's friends car. She said a quick thank you then opened the car door. She took a long whiff of the fresh air. The plane ride and the car ride had kept her cooped up for hours. She had her stuffed animal puppy clutched in her hand and with the other she held onto the handle of her suitcase. Nika looked up at the big house in awe. "Wow." She walked up the few steps and reached for the doorbell.

"Oh hi!" Nika noticed another girl waiting at the door and waved. "I'm Nika!" She smiled cheerfully at the girl, maybe even too cheerfully. "Are you here to stay with Isobel too?" Nika mentally slapped her hand to her forehead. Well duh, who else would she be here for.

Isobel heard a voice call her name and she started to run back downstairs. She stopped and turned to Sammy. "You can pick out which room you want, while I go see who's here. Or you could come with me if you want." Then she raaaan down the stairs and opened the door. When she had gotten the door open she remembered Maybelle. Thankfully, the person who had knocked wasn't her.

"Nulu!" Isobel exclaimed happily. Then another person came. "Nika! Hi!" She pulled the two inside and shut the door without letting Maybelle in. "JAKE!" She yelled again. "Your girlfriend is still here! If you don't come outside she'll be outside forever. Which I wouldn't mind," she mumbled. Then she turned back to her friends and grinned. "I'm glad you guys could come." She did not want to be alone in that huge house all summer.

Adelaide woke up, yawned and rubbed her eyes. It was only ten o'clock, it was normal for the six-year-old to sleep in late. Her parents were always thankful for that. Anyway...she climbed out of bed and walked sleepily into the hallway. She saw a person she didn't know and stopped. "STRANGER!"

Sammy watched as Isobel ran back down stairs and started to look into the room to pick one when she heard this extremely loud voice behind her. She jumped, squealed and dropped her cat - who wasn't happy at all about that and started hissing. She tried to pick Moggy up again but it refused to be held so she let her hiss at her. Before turning around to see who it was. It was a little girl .... Adelaide was the youngest right? Yeah she was. "I'm may be a stranger to you but Isobel's friend from school." she said kindly. She knew how to deal with youngins. "My name's Sammy and I like it if you didn't yell anymore, it frightened my cat" she said in the same kind tone, indicating the hissing grey ball of fluff.

"Hey Isobel! I'm so excited to be here!" Nika took one more look outside before she was pulled in. This was Nika's second time being out of England, her first being Hogwarts. She remembered the girl who had been standing outside and gave Isobel a questioning look. "Er should we let that girl in too?"

Adelaide looked at the girl for a few more second before saying, "Okay. Hello Sammy, I am Addie." She nodded before turning her attention to the cat. "Your cat is pretty, can I pet it?"

Isobel smiled and nodded vigorously; she was excited too. "You mean Maybelle? Nah; Jake will let her in eventually. Come on guys," she said to Nika and Nulu. "Whenever you're ready I can give you the grand tour, and you can pick your rooms."

Sammy smiled. She had been right, it was Adelaide. She was freaking genius. "Nice to meet you" she said with a grin. Then she looked at her grey ball of fluff. Which was still hissing quietly, but calming down slowly. "Yeah, I think she's right now" she said leaning down to pet Moggy, who stopped hissing and started purring. Such a little wimp. "Her name is Moggy" she said, and stopped petting the cat.

She remember how she had been greeted by her mother’s friends and smiled. She wasn’t very comfortable with giving air kisses to strangers and maybe she should ask first but for now talking was just as fun. “and her family.” She said with a smile and a wink.

She was not going to tell anyone but seeing a friendly face was always helpful. “no matter how many times I been on airplanes I still do not likey!” she said with a small pout and released her as she began to yell for her brother. She giggled. She had never really seen her with her sibling. She knew of Jake, but did not know him well or anyone else for that matter. She did not even know how many siblings Isobel had. She giggled. “nika has a point its rude to be outside I thought no one was home since she was outside.” She said and looked at her. She wondered what went on between those two but it seem to be some kind of enemy such thing. She had only seen it between the muggle girls and never really at Hogwarts, this was a brand new side of the wizardry world she saw that was the same. Maybe they were in a friendly rivalry kind of thing she nodded. “Thank you for inviting us.” She told her and smiled.

Nika smiled t the Nulu girl widely. "Nice to meet you!!" Nika bounced up and down as she examined the house from where she stood." it's so preeeetttttyyy!!!"

Nika jumped up and down some more. Best. Holiday. Ever. "Oh I'm ready for the grand tour!!!"

Isobel made a face. "I don't like airplanes either; they make me dizzy and sick." Everyone always hated travelling with her. Isobel considered what Nulu said; it was true. "Yeaaah, But if I let her in, then she'd think it was me who invited her," she pointed out. Actually, Maybelle would never think Isobel had invited her, but that was beside the point. "Oh, look, Jake's coming," she said quickly. "Come on." She took her two friends by their wrists and started pulling them along with her. "I'll give you the tour."

Adelaide stepped forward and crouched down. She patted the cat on the head a few times before stroking it's fur. "Moggy," she cooed softly. "Moggy, Moggy, Moggy." She looked up at Sammy. "That's a pretty name, and she's a pretty kitty." Then she heard voices and she turned around to see Isobel with two other "STRANGERS!" She didn't yell quite as loud. After she yelled she remembered what Sammy had said, and she turned around to look at the kitty. "Oops, sorry kitty." She blew it some air kisses before running in to her room and slamming the door behind her.

Sammy smiled and waved the two new people she didn't know before Jumping again at the sound of Addie yelling and Moggy's new hisses. She felt the soft cat hair against her ankle and jumped again as the door slammed. GEEZUS, people didn't hesitate to be loud in this house. THen again, considering the size, you kind of need to be loud. Then she looked at Isobel "Adelaide is really loud" she said as Moggy was still hissing beside her. Welcome back Captain Obvious Sammy.

Isobel watched Addie with a slightly amused expression. "Adelaide," she started to say, don't yell, but Adelaide had already ran into her room. She just shook her head before looking at Sammy and raising her eyebrows. "Yeah...well, she is six." She half smiled.

Maybelle stood there, completely and utterly SHOCKED!! What a rude thing of Isobel to do! Maybelle knocked more furiously this time! "Isobel open the DANG door!! I need to come in!!" Maybelle shouted...or at least Jake could come and answer the door... She stood there POUNDING on the door. Her outfit was pretty nice, all name brands..her Aunt bought them for her back in the U.S. she missed her Aunt. But, she was happier with her friends and Jake.

Sammy nodded and picked up the slowly calming Moggy into her arms. Where the cat continued to hiss quietly in the general direction of Adelaide's room. "I swear I wasn't that loud when I was little" Sammy said with a grin. She had been a very loud and somewhat obnoxious girl until she was about seven.

She jumped again and Moggy fell from her arms and sprinted away. Stupid cat. She'd find her later. She sighed and looked at Isobel before saying "Maybe you should let her in before she like, burns the house down or something" she said, listening to the distant hissing. She'd find her eventually.

Jake threw open his door and fast-walked down the stairs. He threw open the door and grinned when he saw Maybelle. And she was wearing the necklace he had given her. Jake leaned in and gave her a quick kiss, then he grinned and stepped out of the way. "Come on in, m'lady," he said with a bow.

Maybelle paced by the door, growing more and more impatient, Where was Jake?! Maybelle thought. She was about to pound on the door again, when it opened. FINALLY!!! "JAKE!" She said throwing her arms around his neck. "At least you finally opened the door! I was getting COLD! She said with a slight shiver! She smiled as he kissed her. She walked inside, in total awe. "My gosh! What a beautiful place!" She said.
