Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of the wizarding elite.
So, as you may have noticed, this RPG is basically Gossip Girl gone Hogwarts. All the drama is now packed into the wizarding world. And who are the hottest students in school? Simple, of course. Sloane, Bridget, Jayden, Davy, Noah, and Colton. The new marauders, and the best of friends. Or are they? Lines will be drawn and drama will ensue, but all's fair in love and war, right?
Here are a few quick facts as to who's who, in relationship to the show (although the names are different, the first letter is the same):
>>Sloane=Serena, Bridget=Blair, Jadyn=Jenny, Davy=Dan, Noah=Nate, Colton=Chuck
>>Also, we can have a Valerie (Valerie=Vanessa), although she would not be part of the elite group of marauders
The characters will essentially be the same, BUT there are a few changes:
-The names are different
-The group is all friends (unlike Dan and Blair, etc. in the show)
-None of the new marauders are related
-Any coupling can come out of this (Sloane ['Serena'] does not have to date Davy ['Dan'], although it's perfectly fine if they do end up dating)
Okay, so made-ups are fine as well, although the made-ups will not be part of the core group. They may be friends of one or two of the main characters, but they're not an 'elite'. Essentially, they'd have the same status as Valerie (or a bit better or worse).
And, finally, we'll sort out the drama that is going on and the relationship status of the characters once we've got all the elite and made-up characters. For example, we might start the RPG with Jadyn dating Noah, or Sloane dating a made-up character, though the couple may/may not stay together. Or maybe someone is facing expulsion for some reason or another. Whatever; we'll figure out the mess once we've got our characters. I will be playing Sloane and I will also be acting as Gossip Girl from time to time.
Also, just because you post a profile for a character doesn't mean you'll get it. In other words, if you post a fairly detailed description - nothing over-the-top and nothing too vague- then you'll most likely get it. I just don't want a person who tends to make two sentence posts get one of the major characters.

Personailty: Bridget is your sweet classy girl of the group. She is very vintage and trys to stand for something. Her appearance towards others means everything to her. She is also very curious. She wan'ts to know everything that is going on, especially with her friends. She has no problem with skeaming, actually its a hobby of hers. If one of her friends is in trouble, after much debate she is willing to go down for them. On the contrary B holds a grudge. If anyone, and that means anyone, does something to hurt her, you aren't about to forget it. You will also pay for it. She will see to that.
History: Bridget is a pure blood witch. Her mother is well known, and liked within the wizarding world. She owns a robes shop in Diagon, and is very sucessful. As for her father, he holds a high spot in the ministry. Her parents are divorced and her mother has remarried yet another ministry employ. She has no siblings, and is definately the spoiled only child.
Friends: Bridget's best friend is Sloane. They have been close for ages. Though they have their moments of betrayal and hatred they always end up forgiving each other. As for the rest of the group she is very close to all of them. Relationships have gone off and on, and so have the friend ships. They always end up coming back to each other though, maybe after a bit of B's skeeming.

So before I post up the bio, I was wondering if you would have Jayden be outside of the group because Jenny's character in GG is essentially build up of her ambitions to be apart of it. I understand your not sticking with the GG storyline, but the whole point of having Jenny in GG was because she's one of the younger girls who wants to take over the Queen Bee position and she does.. (in the TV series atleast) She came from a poor family and was out to make a name for herself within the elite social classes.
But if you prefer her to be in the group then that is fine too. Just let me know what you think & I'll have the bio up asap.

Yep, I watch GG as well, so I know that Jenny isn't exactly one of the 'it' girls, but for the RP, even though your character has the same looks as Jenny, the personality may be totally different if you'd like. It's up to whoever plays the character. I was under the impression that Jadyn would be part of the group already; however, maybe we could stir in some drama by having Jadyn be a former member of the marauders, but then she had some sort of falling out with another one of them (doesn't really matter which one, though I volunteer Sloane ), and now Jade is trying to make her way back into the group. But that's just a suggestion - you may do whatever you like. =)

Bio: Coming from a prominent wizardry family, it came as no surprise when Jade became a member of the elite marauders at Hogwarts. Dubbed as the "It girl", she had everything she wanted; fame & popularity. Until it all came crashing down all too sudden. .
After having a falling out with Sloane, her friends turned against her, making her a scorned outcast. Now she's back at Hogwarts for her 7th year, and she's vowed to make a comeback.
Family: Jade's mother passed away when she was just a baby leaving her father to take of her. Even though he was usually very busy, he still managed the time to love his young daughter thus, making them very close.
Her father Rupert works in the Ministry of Magic, and is often very busy. They only get to see each other during the Holidays but they often exchange letters during the school season.
Personality: Jade is very outgoing and easy to make friends with. She's very close with her father and looks up to him as a role model. Her life long ambition has been making a name for herself in the fashion world and plans to be a designer once she's out of Hogwarts. Even though she's very flirty, she has never been in a long term relationship. But when Gossip Girl reveals Noah cheating on Sloane with Jenny, everything goes south..

Personality: Sloane’s aura of friendliness and her constant smiles seem to allow her to get along with almost everyone she meets. She has a laid-back and fun outlook on life, seeing as she’s always up to something with her friends, but somehow drama does seem to surface with her more often than she’d like. Although she is unarguably true to the Gryffindor values and loyal to those she cares for, that doesn’t mean she does not have a habit of breaking – or bending – the rules. After all, where’s the fun in being predictable? Spontaneity is practically her middle name. And even though it takes a lot to get her angry, when she does start fuming, be wary. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, right? But all and all, most people know Sloane as the confident, genuine Gryffindor who just so happens to be gorgeous, good-humored, and insanely popular.
Background: Sloane comes from a wealthy pureblood family, and although the Van De Lyons appear to have everything, they’re by no means perfect. Sloane has never actually known her real father; however, her mother seems to have a different man often enough. Her mother may not exactly have her love life in order, but she does have a steady high-income job and she does her best at raising Sloane and her younger brother Edmund. Despite the luxuries that the Van De Lyon family background offers, Sloane strays away from too much of a superficial or power-driven life – but, that doesn’t mean she’s not a shopaholic.
Friends/Relationships: Everyone knows that Sloane and Bridget are best friends. You can’t have one without the other.. sort of like peanut butter and jelly or goblins and Gringotts. Choose the analogy you’d like, the fact remains the same. They have their battles and bouts, but in the end they’re inseparable. Besides her BFF, Sloane has quite a few friends, though the rest of the marauders – and maybe one or two who are not in the group – are her closest friends. Jadyn had been a part of their core group, a very close friend, but the friendship between Sloane and Jade turned sour when J accused S of stringing Noah along as nothing but a security blanket. But, as far as relationships are concerned, Sloane is still dating Noah. They’ve been the picture perfect couple for so long that Sloane tries not to think too hard about it; otherwise, she’d probably end up asking herself if maybe there was some truth behind Jade’s accusation.
That sounds great, I wonder how the other characters will play in. Also are you planning on making Sloane & Noah break up? I wonder how Sloane is going to take him, when he's been cheating on her. I think maybe they should have some kind of a on/off relationship going on.

Background: Colton was born into a very rich wizarding family, so it was no shock that he was in the elite crowd at Hogwarts. His mother died when he was only three, leaving just him and his father. His father being a big part of the Ministry was constantally at work at left Colton at home with various nannies. This gave Colton a great amount of independence as he grew up.
Personality: Being rich, Colton is use to getting whatever he wants, no matter the price. He also tends to be a very sly and cunning person, which explains why he is in Slytherin. He will do anything for his friends, even if it means seeking some form of revenge. Underneath all of this, he is a sensitive guy, but it takes a lot to get it out of him.
I don't know if Noah and Sloane will break up; I don't like to have too much set in stone. Also, I was thinking that Noah will have only kissed J once, but not consistantly cheated on Sloane. He should have better character, I would think. We'll see what happens.
