Hey, guys! Dee Dee here once more. heh heh. I know I have an RP that's going pretty well (compared to my others ), but I decided it was time for another. Most of you know how much I love LOST, and since my other attempt at an HP/LOST cross didn't work, I'm trying a different approach. Hope you like it.

The date is September 22, 2004 and Oceanic 815 is flying Sydney to Los Angeles when the radio dies six hours in. The plane turns, heading back to land in Fiji and flies for two more hours when it hits unexpected turbulence and crashes onto an apparently uninhabited island.

The TV show starts out the day of the crash, as will the role-play, but what the writers didn't know was that the seemingly unimportant extras are really wizards and witches ranging from their OWL years in school to their 30s on a trip to further study Muggles and practice using their means of transportation, and they are much, much more than background characters.

All the major events that happen on the island will happen in the RP (courtesy of the narrator - me), but who takes part in these events will differ from the show because of the new characters. Who will fall in love? Will the magic be revealed? Where are these people? Is the Island really an island, or is it magic? And who will survive?

Please stay active. You may have as many characters as you can handle. Take into account the year - no Harry or Hermiones. Please no tainting with the canon characters (ex. no Kate being a witch or Jack knowing about magic, etc). Don't feel like you can't play a character because you don't watch the show - I'll PM you with a description of their personality if necessary. Most of all, have fun!

If all goes to plan and the RP stays alive, yes, but for now it's starting out the day of the crash. When new characters enter the show, I will most certainly add them to the list and offer them to the current RPers.

That would depend on the other characters - people might not be in the same time as they were on the show if it does make it that far. Who knows?

Personality:

John Locke is a intellectual , mysterious person with a passion for hunting and tracking.
He strongly believes in mystical and spiritual explanations for why things are happening and believes in higher powers.
John is also called a stoic, he seems indifferent to or unaffected by either pleasure, joy or even grief or pain.

Past:

At a young age, John Locke is placed in government care, where he finds a lot of foster homes. At one of his foster homes he is described as “extremely special”
As he grows up, Locke worked at a toy store and is visited by his mother who told him about his father. Being the curious type , Locke hires a private detective to track down his father. He finds his father and the two bond together over hunting trips. His father later reveals he needs a kidney transplant and Locke volunteered to donate one of his. After the surgery, his father abandons Locke and refuses to see him. Locke becomes very depressed and seeks therapy.
A few years later he visited by a man who he reqonizes as his father who uses an alias and orders him not to marry someone, they get in to a fight and his father pushes Locke out of the window. Locke suffers a broken back, and a suppose to be , life time injury that puts him in a wheelchair.

After the crash:
But after the crash on the island, Locke can miraculously use his legs again and is found an expert at hunting and tracking and is seen by most of the people as a second commander next to Jack Shephard. Locke becomes the most spiritual with the island and doesn’t want to leave.

Personality: Leah is a very quiet person, but if she has something to say, she doesn't hold back. She doesn't like trouble and tends to avoid people she thinks are bound to stray there, but somehow she seems to get caught in the middle of things anyway. She loves to help people and puts others before herself in nearly every situation
Appearance: Leah is 5'6" and is about 135 lbs - not stick thin, but average. She's never extremely pale and has dark blue eyes. Her hair is a light blond and hangs in small curls or waves most of the time.
History: Leah was raised in Addlestone Moor by her two parents. Her mother is the writer of a set of popularly used Hogwarts schoolbooks, while her father was the inheritor of a great deal of money from his deceased parents. She has an older brother, Jacob, who is 29 and has a son named Ethan. Her brother lives in wizarding London and both he and his sister like to drop in on each other as much as they can.
