She looked at up Liz, she wanted a crack a smile, but Tom had be teaching her how to mask her emotions and she was practicing that now. She gave her a flicker of a smile although.

She gave him a respectful nodded, she would have stuck her hand in that hot fireplace if he asked her too. She hoped that he knew that. "It is my aim to be pleasing to you." She said proudly over the compliment that he gave her.

She took her invitation in her hand and opened. "I am so pleased that you would speak on my behalf. I would be so honored if you were to introduce me to Professor Slughorn" She knew Slughorn was going to pump her for information about her father, but she wanted to be wherever Tom was. She couldn't help how drawn she was to him. She knew he was destined to do great things and she wanted to help him every step of the way.

Irish nodded curtly at Lydia. She didn't know the girl well, but she had heard stories about her bullying tactics.

She was a loose cannon, but Tom kept her around. Tom seemed to collecting a strange assortment of followers, and Irish wondered if he really knew the people he kept in his inner circle. Irish would make it a point to tell him about it.

"Why hello."e said as lydia entered the common room."I haven't been here long but as far as I know you haven't missed anything, quite on the contrary, you're just in time to recieve your invitation for professor Slughorn's upcoming party."

"Ah, yes bullying another first year? Where do you find the time?" She said icily. She didn't care of Lydia, really the only people she did like was Tom and Liz.

She blushed the deepest red she cold have possible done with her brown complexion. "Sir, it is an honor and privilege to serve you in whatever compacity that you deem necessary." She said giving him a bow from her chair.

Irish turned to look at Liz with her cold brown eyes. She glared at her for a minute and turned away.

"You should seeing as you are never around when Tom has need of your archaic services." She said coldly to Lydia. "And I think pushing around first years is hardly a exhausting task." She told her mockingly with a sugary smile on her face.

Anthony continued to lounge observing in amusement as the girls bickered. observing others was one of Anthony's best traits he was sneaky, okay stealthy would be most accurate. in fact he was a master at eavesdropping.
Each of the members In Tom's group had their owe talent and they each used it to their own sinister advantage, he had noticed that not long after he met Tom.
" And being sickeningly polite is?... " Anthony smirked as he commented on Irish comment to Lydia.

She glanced over at Anthony, she had to refrain from blasting him out of his chair. "Oh Anthony ye of little talent." She said with a sugar smile.

The fire crackled in Irish's eyes. Lydia had yet to best Irish with her dismal wandwork, so Irish was not afraid of her in the least.

"Being a ordinary witch was never my lot in life, although you fit into the role quite nicely. Perhaps that is why you just simple blend into the decor." She said starting to get upset. Lydia was not worth enough to even call herself a Slytherin let alone one of Tom's followers. She was beneath him

Lydia was just jealous that she didn't enjoy the position that Irish held in Tom's inner circle and she pushed around first years to try to garner his good graces. She wasn't going to let Lydia push her around. She did give Liz a cold stare, she was really getting too big for herself, Irish might have to take her down a notch.

She fell silent and gave them both a smile.

" Little Talent.." he arched his brow she was tredding into deep dangerous waters. " we'll see about that some time Ireland. " eventhough his tone was calm and a smirk was pulled the corners of his mouth there was a serious hint of threat in his voice.

"Well seeing as how you do not even have the presence of mind to remember something as simple as the fact that my name is Irish leads me to believe you you are rather stupid." She said with venom in her voice. "So anytime you are ready to have your lackluster skills tested against me let me know." She locked eyes with him. Other than Bellatrix Irish had the quickest wand draw. She was not scared of any of them.
