Summer school?
What would Hogwarts students do if they found out they had a chance to stay at the school the whole summer, with only prefects and the head boy and girl in charge? Well, some students are about to find out.
The headmaster has decided to allow any student wishing to stay at Hogwarts for the summer the chance to do so. At least one prefect from each house must stay and either the head boy or head girl or both. All of the students feel like Hogwarts is their true home and can't bear to leave. Will anyone break any major rules? Will romances start? Will friendships be divided? Well, we'll just have to wait and see...
So this is the basic plot. I didn't want to go too in depth because a lot of fun things could happen if you use everyone's creativity. The head boy and head girl can be from any house and I won't necessarially wait for both positions to be filled before starting role play. Remember only one prefect from each house must stay, but more can if they like.

Personality: Blair is…not the nicest person. She prefers to be noticed, loved, and admired at school by everyone. It doesn’t matter if she knows them or not, she wants everyone to know her by name and face, and most do. You could say that Blair is conceited, self-centered, and at times malicious, but she prefers to believe it’s simply admiration from others, and she shouldn’t be blamed for being liked. She tends to drift to a certain group of people and rarely steps out unless she has personal business to take care of. Blair doesn’t really bother with others, and is staying at the school over summer because she doesn't want to miss out on this new experience. (Plus her father's making her)

Family Life: Blair is an only child, and likes it that way. Her parents both spoil her, not realizing the affects it has on her attitude. She can be a bit of a snob, but gets "the best of the best and nothing less", as she likes to say.
Extra: Blair hates sports, but watches quidditch because she has an on and off relationship with the lead Slytherin chaser. She doesn’t like vegetables, her favorite thing is Banana-Rama Lip Gloss, and her only favorite subject is Charms. She has one cat named Opius, who’s black with one spot of silver on the center of his forehead.

Appearance: Sierra’s soft blonde hair that often falls down her back is usually left loose, as she prefers it that way, but it’s sometimes in a ponytail. She wears all types of different clothes, mostly things made or given to by her father, and treats her appearance well. She fusses around with her hair when she’s nervous, but won’t be upset if something messes up her hair, or something. Probably a good thing, as it’s something her brother loves doing.
Personality: Sierra is pretty confident with what she does, but not extremely so. She also nearly always means well, even if it just doesn’t really come off that way. She’s a very good listener, but telling her a secret isn’t a good thing to do. Sierra isn’t likely to go and tell everyone, but that doesn’t mean she’ll keep it a secret. She’ll tell anyone anything if she thinks it’s something they need to be told, and do anything if she thinks it needs to be done. But, a lot of the time, it’s for her friends just as much as herself, even if it doesn’t end up helping. Overall, she’s very kind, just much to interferring. Sierra tells the truth a lot, and tends to like being told the truth back, and is good at spotting lies. Sierra can be stubborn when she wants to be, and has a lot of determination. She’d do anything for a friend, and she’d do anything to get someone to tell her the truth, even if it’s just a small thing, she still has pride. Sierra is pretty responsible though, when she likes to be. And is good at telling people what to do, and being nice.
Background: Sierra grew up in a rich family, being used to having a lot, and liking that fact, but she doesn’t take it for granted, and it’s not where she gets her pride from. She was born in France where she grew up with her brother Reid, and her sister Floresca, until her brother was ten, she was nine, and her sister was eight. She moved to England because her dad got a better job over there, and her parents wanted her and her siblings to go to Hogwarts, anyway, so it was simply easier living in England. But Sierra, like Reid and Floresca, still misses France, it’s warmth, and everything about it that they loved, but they enjoy living in England, too, and still go back to France in most holidays. Sierra is close to her sister and brother, and she is pretty protective over Floresca as she’s so sweet, and as Reid calls it, “naïve” but she’s not nearly as protective over her as Reid is. Reid isn’t really protective towards Sierra, though, something she’s glad for. Sierra isn’t boy-crazy, or anything, but likes haing fun, and boyfriends.
Other: Sierra’s father works in the fashion industry, something she can’t help but like, as he gives a fair few things he makes to her and her siblings. She also helps her father when she’s at home with this, whether she’s in England or France, as she takes so much interest in what he makes.

Appearance: Reid is good looking, and it’s not something he hides. Even though he tends to dress pretty casually, he still makes it look good, anyway. He also thinks about how he looks quite a bit, but not heaps of the time.
Personality: Most of the time Reid doesn’t think about what he says, simply because it doesn’t really worry him. He can come off as very blunt, and mean, but most of the time, he just states the truth. He’s nice, to people he likes. And a good person to be around, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t fit in as a Slytherin. He’s very devious, and good at planning things. He often tells the truth, without thinking about it, but he’s just as good at lying. Reid likes doing what he’s not supposed to be doing, just because he’s not supposed to be doing it. But as uncaring as he could seem, with people he feels comfortable around, Reid is pretty caring towards them. He thinks about other than himself, too, just... After himself. Reid thinks quite a lot about himself, and jokes around about a lot of things.
Background: Reid is a bit too much used to having a lot, but he has to work for it. Being the only boy in the family, and the eldest, he needs to be pretty protective over his siblings. Or, at least, he thinks he does. His youngest sister Floresca, in particular. Reid is never really protective over Sierra, mostly because she doesn’t need protecting, but also because she wouldn’t let Reid. Sierra isw probably the only person who can consistently get Reid to do what she tells him. Reid helps his father work generally in the holidays, and not because he wants to like Sierra, but because his dad tells him to. But he’s not very resentful, as it’s pretty fun. Reid also misses France like his siblings, and he isn't exactly girl-crazy, but he likes flirting, and having girlfriends.
Other: For a boy whose nature is very lazy, Reid is very strong and quite active. He also does quite a bit of work when he’s at home, but he just has a good way of making things fun. He makes almost anything into a competition.

Appearance: Noah has short, wavyish dark brown hair that goes well with his brown eyes. His build would be considered slim and slightly lanky, and he measures up to be about 6’2. The boy smiles a lot, so it’s a good thing that he’s got a great smile. He dresses casually and doesn’t really concern himself with looking ‘the hottest.’ He knows his appearance isn’t the sculpted-muscled, prominent-jawed hunk kind of look, but he’s okay with just being the average kind of guy he is.
Personality: Fun-loving and likeable. He always seems to brighten the mood a bit, and his friends can always count on him to partake in random schemes and pranks. His loyalty to those he cares for is remarkable, though he’s sure his friends would do anything for him as well. Although he’s all talkative and witty around his mates, he tends to tense up, turn shy, and get ‘taffy-stuck and tongue-tied’ when he’s around a girl he has feelings for. Klutziness is definitely one of his most salient traits, but that’s just part of what makes him so humorous. All in all, most everyone knows that Noah Harper is just a really good guy.
Background: His mom’s a witch and dad’s a muggle, which means – yep, he’s a halfblood. He has one sister, Anna, who is eleven years old, and though they bicker and pick on each other constantly, the two are actually very close. The Harpers aren’t poor, but they’re not rich; middle class, of course, then. Despite how annoyed he may be with one family member or another, he really does love them all and he knows he’s lucky to have them.
Personality: Melanie is a very intelligent and hardworking girl, which is the main reason she was put into Ravenclaw. She always took charge as a younger student which was how she became a prefect and worked her way up to head girl. She is very glad that she is head girl and that she will be basically the headmistress for the summer. She can't wait to spend time with her friends. Melanie loves her friends and family and would do anything for them.
Personality: Hanz is the type of guy that is quiet most of the time. Very mature for his age, he likes being left alone because it frees his mind of all thoughts, where he can just lie down and stare into space. He's responsible and takes his studies seriously. He isn't one to go around telling people, or even his friends, what's going on in his mind or what he plans to do next. Unlike his sister, Hanz has a more serious attitude and keeps an expressionless face most of the time. He’s a kind guy, but doesn’t trust people easily. He and his sister have a very close relationship and he likes being with her most of the time even if she’s very outgoing and likes to change him to what she thinks is better. He is very helpful and considerate, and unlike most people he doesn’t ask for anything in exchange for his help.
Background: Hanz is the eldest and only boy in his family. Apart from his twin sister he has a younger sister which is seven years old. His native country is Germany which he has spent most of his childhood in, when he was nine his family moved to England because of his father's job. They visit Germany every summer to visit their friends and relatives.
Other: He and his twin sister are not alike in looks or attitude, but they understand each other and are comfortable with their close relationship.
Personality: Deedee is a very outgoing girl, and doesn't like to keep quiet. She likes taking risks and doing whatever comes across her mind. And is known that when she sets her mind to do something no one can stop her. She's not into studying much though she studies because her twin never stops nagging her. She spends most of her time fooling around and having fun. Unlike her brother she likes visiting new places and meeting new people, which is a trait she got from her mother. She doesn’t care much about what people think about her and doesn’t like to be bossed around. She is a tempered little monster, but most of her friends know better than annoy her. She can go to any means to get them back. She loves her brother so much, but hates it when he gets overprotective and when he tries to make her see sense because if no one’s got any power over her, her twin brother certainly has a kind of influence.
Background: She comes from a German family and she spent most of her childhood there. She loves spending summers in Germany and would love to move back there which she knows is not possible. She has a younger sister whose seven years old, she simply adores her.
Other: She enjoys sitting in stormy evenings and listening to her brother reading a story out loud until she falls asleep.

Background: Sonja comes from a hostile home environment. Neither of her parents has ever given her much notice as they wanted a boy and not a girl. They gave her the essentials: food, clothing, a place to sleep; and left her alone. While other children were getting things for being good, her parents gave her things to make sure she stayed out of their way. Both work in the Ministry and are extremely proud people. They pride themselves on being of Pureblood status.
Five years after Sonja was born her parents got the little boy they had always wanted, Devin, further pushing Sonja to the background. She quickly learned to fend for herself and not to trust anyone. Her grandmother was the only person who seemed to care about her, so when she started school she moved in with her under the pre-tense that it was closer.
This suited both parties as her parents didn’t have to deal with her and Sonja could be more of herself. She resents her little brother Devin as he takes every opportunity to remind her that her parents don’t love her and never wanted her. This all resulted in the suspicious and often aloof attitude that she uses as her barriers against the world.
Personality: She is a fiercely independent and strong individual. When she does manage to make a friend (if you are lucky enough to earn her trust) she will do anything and everything for them. Few have seen her true nature, but she does have a softer side. One must work to see it.
She doesn’t much care for what people think and often says what’s on her mind regardless of the situation or the person. She is brazen and callous in everything she does and learned it from the best. (Her parents) Stay on her good side, or make an enemy for life.

Personality: Tristan is a pretty easy going guy. He can be pretty stubborn and obstinate when he wants to be. His temper is short and he is known to be a bit of a hot head but he really doesn't care. His reputation as the spoiled rich kid gets on his nerves, which is probably the reason for the temper. His track record with girls hasn't been so great but he is trying. Like any typical guy he has problems showing his emotions and feelings.
Background: Both his parents are high ranking officials at the Irish Branch of the Ministry. His entire family has been in Slytherin and takes pride in their pureblood status. Tristan's older brother Carlisle followed the family tradition and married another pureblood which with money. Tristan can't stand the ignorant views of his family, so he became the rebel. He was still sorted in Slytherin but tries to go against everything his family is for. Hobbies: Drawing

Personality: Ned is first a foremost a flirt. He has tried to make a move on almost every single girl in the school and appears to be ridiculously overconfident with himself and his looks. Since most girls have never protested to the attention he was giving them, Ned had enjoyed the fruits of his labour for the past year and has recently received the reputation of a walking girl magnet.
On the inside though, Ned was completely different. While he appeared lade back and confident, it was all just an act, a cover up. Inside, Ned doubted if there was any guy at Hogwarts that was more sensitive than him since he tended to take everything that everyone said to him to heart and usually had trouble with digesting the fact that while some people fawned over him, a significant portion of the school also hated his guts, which put large wholes in his act and made it very easy for anyone looking properly to see him for what he really was.
In terms of school work, Ned was one of the top students in his house and prided himself on that fact. Sure, his brother may one day outshine him in this area, but Ned really didn’t care. The teachers loved him for his grades and hated him for his attitude so he thought that all in all he had the better deal.
Ned was looking forward to this summer more than others because he had finally realized that while it had been fun messing with people’s heads and creating a candy coated image of himself, he was a seventh year and it was time to get serious. Starting with a girlfriend – a serious one.
Background: Ned comes from a family of purebloods that reaches back only four generations. They classify themselves as purebloods since they believe themselves to be so, but some other –older- wizarding families might not agree with the classification. The Coopers have six children; three boys and three girls. Ned is the fourth child along, with two older sisters, one older brother and two younger siblings. His brother, Daniel, also attends Hogwarts and is currently in his fifth year.

Personality: Being the second youngest child and youngest boy in the family had molded Daniel Cooper into a bouncy, cheerful little fellow whose main goal in life was, among others, to please those above him. He looked up to his brother Ned the way a puppy looks up at his owner and almost everything he did, he did for his brother.
His family had covered with their numbers all of the four Hogwarts houses but he prided himself with the fact that he was the first Ravenclaw out of all his siblings, something that made him stand out from the rest of them. Being smart and intelligent had guided Daniel through his first few years at Hogwarts pretty nicely, but it was his almost unstoppable energy source that made him stand out from the crowd.
Being quite confident in himself, Daniel had no trouble in acquiring friends although he had never had a girlfriend, being a mere fifth year. Ned often joked that if Daniel wouldn’t pull his act together he would announce to the world that Daniel was in fact adopted – and anyone who knew even a little about their family would fall for that in a heartbeat. Sure, Daniel was a Cooper through and through; he just didn’t match most of the other Coopers in his family. That fact was the only thing that had the ability to pull Daniel down, and his mission for this summer was to make sure that he proved to his family that he COULD become like them – and he would.

History: Leigh was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California. Her mother and father met after her dad graduated from Hogwarts and moved to America (he’s from England). The first time Leigh’s father told her mother that he was a wizard, she fainted...but it’s surely a good thing he told her, because both of Leigh’s older sisters (who are twins) are witches. Saved their mother from a nasty shock right there.
Leigh is the first one of her family to be in Ravenclaw, the others were in Hufflepuff. And although she hardly feels any pressure from her family, she doesn’t want to live in the shadow of her sisters, and wants to create her own legacy at Hogwarts.
Personality: Leigh is very...bubbly. She almost always has a bright, big smile lighting up her face, and her eyes sparkle with delight even when she’s not smiling. She’s sporty, energetic, and a bit spazzy at times. She’s the type of girl that likes to hang around boys more than girls, but has lately been more interested in boys as boyfriends, and not just friends. She's a tease, but doesn't really flirt too much.
She’s been swimming since she could walk, and she spends most summer days at the beach. Wether she’d be swimming, surfing, or just hanging out on the shore, the beach would be the place to find her whenever the weather was even somewhat warm.
She plays quidditch fairly well, and actually dreams of playing for a professional team. And as much as she may be athletic, she’s very brainy - therefor a Ravenclaw. She teases people a lot, and sticks up for what she believes in. I wouldn’t mess with her unless you want a lesson on how tough girls really can be.
Likes: Quidditch (she's a beater on the Ravvie team), animals, thunderstorms, the ocean, the beach, very, very hot weather, and the color green.
Dislikes: Rude, snotty people, and cold weather.
