Alexandria paced back and forth in the small stable that housed the horses on her Grandparents farm, Her blonde hair tied in a bun, A pile of hay in her arms. She tossed the hay into their food bin and turned around to fetch them some fresh water..

Sweat poured down her face and stung her sunburned face, Her arms ached from the constant work she was doing, She had spent the last few days thinking about Rosalie and Ryder and how much they both aggravated her.

How was it that things couldn't just run smoothly for once?
She poured water into the metal trough and walked away from it, Her black boots were covered in gross and nasty things and she couldn't wait to take them off and shower.

She climbed over the fence and walked up the dirt pathway that led to her grandparent's house and went inside the house.

"Take off your shoes, Young lady."

Her grandmother shouted from the kitchen, Probably making some cookies like usual, It was what she known for.

Alexandria did as told and headed upstairs to shower, Most likely no one would be stopping by for her.. They never did.

Ryder walked over to the front door of the farm house. He had never been on a farm and well he realized now being on one... that he was not missing anything. He saw all the animals roaming around the yard blocked in by tall fences. His younger brother Myles was yelling at one of the horses which now was going wild. Ryder headed down the stairs and grabbed Myles by the arm pulling him up the stairs.

"Can you ever do anything normal?" He said looking down at the younger boy. "Look this is one of my friends from school, I never met her family so try and act a little proper... You're a Malfoy... Act like one." Myles had a grin on his face he probably did not listen to a word that Ryder had said, he did that often.

"Whatever." Myles said rudely. He looked up at Ryder. "This place is horrible I want to go home." He said pulling his arm away from Ryder. "I hope this girl isn't a muggle..." He was quite serious, he was nothing like Ryder and Robert who didn't judge the muggles. Myles took after there ancestors and no muggle was good enough to be in the same room as a pureblood.

Ryder grabbed the back of Myles collar, "Just try and be good for like a minute." He said through gritted teeth. Myles just ignored that and began picking the paint off of Alexandria's front door. Ryder pulled him back, looked up like he was praying and then knocked.

He was not one to just drop by someone's house but he did say he would teach her to play quidditch and what way to get ready for the new term and quidditch then practicing before the term started. Ryder wanted so badly to charm his brother but he knew better about using magic outside of the school. Myles pulled away from Ryder again and began kicking the rocking chair on the front porch.

Myles watched the younger girl for a moment his hair was messy and in his face, but he was dressed rather well. He looked over at Ryder and then Alexandria trying to figure out something to annoy the two of them with. He saw the cat and took out his wand to poke it with. He poked the cat with the wand before looking up at Samantha.

Ryder looked at Myles, "This is not your house stop touching things and give me your wand." Ryder looked at the boy angrily and then turned to Alexandria. "He is rude." Myles looked up at him for a moment and then hit him in the arm with the wand. "You can't tell me what to do." He said following Alexandria and Samantha for those brownies and lemonade.

"Why do you live like poor muggles?" Myles said with a disgusted look on his face. "I mean you're not muggles are you?" He said this like if they were they would have some incurable disease. Ryder pulled him back. "Myles enough." Ryder said staring at him. He wanted to tape his mouth shut.

"Go off with Samantha." Ryder said hoping that he would not cause Samantha to do something horrible and get into even more trouble while he was alone. Myles let Samantha lead him off, hey maybe they could give the dog a beak or something, Myles loved to do things he was not supposed to do.

Ryder pushed his own hair out of his eyes and looked at Alexandria nervously. "So... um. How is your summer going." He said rocking back and forth on his feet. "Thought... I would drop by since I did say I would teach you a thing or two about quidditch." He smiled at her as he focused more on what she was wearing for the moment, she was like him supporting Slytherin with their colors even when not at Hogwart's. He was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a green shirt with his quidditch number on the front right part of the chest area on the shirt.

Ryder smiled at Alexandria and put his arms around her waist, "No problem really.." he was not worried about anything that happened in diagon alley. He let her go and looked from his shirt to her eyes. "Oh yeah, this shirt... just when I played in my fifth year, I like to practice in it." he smoothed the shirt out although it already looked perfect with no wrinkles. He looked at her broom, "Oh yeah, mine is outside." He couldn't help but smile at her when she pulled her hair out of the towel.

"I hope your sister knows what she's in for... Myles is a lot of work, Crazy even." he said laughing. Myles was nothing like himself and they rarely saw eye to eye on anything.

Myles looked at the puppy that Samantha had. "The greatest." he said not to overjoyed, the dog was plain. He pointed his wand at and turned part of its fur green. He took his hand and messed the fur up, the poor dog now looked crazy. "A little better no?" He said looking at Samantha quite impressed with himself. Although his parents did not really like him to use magic, especially not in their sight.

Ryder rubbed his arm nervously and looked at Alexandria. He took a few steps out the door. "So um ready to play then?" The sun was shining bright and it was really hot out. He pulled off his shirt, "Here wear my shirt... don't want to dirty yours if you fall or something." He said holding his shirt in front of her. It would sure to be a little big on her being that he was taller than her.

He stood there the sun beating on him, he flipped his hair out of his eyes. "So what position are you trying out for?"

Ryder smiled at her, "Flying is easy. Here fly with me, you'll be great at quidditch in no time." he helped her onto his broom and got right behind her so he could lean over to steer if he had too. "Basically you just lean to either side or down or up... and it does the rest itself but make sure you stay balanced or you will fall." He put one hand on her shoulder to keep her balanced. He waited for her to feel comfortable enough to take off.

Myles laughed at the dog who seemed rather upset about it's fur. "She is probably flirting with Ryder and he has another girlfriend." Myles said in a mocking tone. He pulled out his wand and poked the dog again, the dogs ears became so long they were now dragging on the floor. Myles laughed, "Now your dog can hear things better." he looked so proud of this, he was not to use magic but who would know.

"It won't hurt too bad, well depending on how far you fall from. But don't worry broken bones can be healed." he said smiling at her. Ryder leaned over her and helped her steer better and more straight. "It's real easy just remember don't lean to the side too much if you want to stay in a straight line. And the closer you lean down to the broom the faster you go because theres less for the wind to go through." He leaned against her to have be leaning closer to the broom and not back as far as she was. "You're rather good for someone who does not have experience flying." he remembered how bad his brother was when he first introduced him to a broom.

Myles looked at Samantha for a moment, "I'm not cute." he reminded her, cute seemed like something a furry animal would be. And he was neither furry nor an animal. He stared at Samantha like she was crazy, especially at the talk of marriage. "I will have the biggest house anyone ever seen..." he left her out of the statement, not because he didn't like her but because he wanted to see her reaction. "Ryder is dumb, mother says so anyway." Myles said this in a matter of fact tone. "His girlfriend would be so mad, I should write her about this just to stir things up for him." he said this with a mischevious smile on his face, he loved to make trouble any way he could.

Ryder blushed a little when she said he was a good teacher, he never thought of himself as a good teacher but he liked that she did. "Thanks." he said nervously. "It is hot out." he agreed of course he was not expecting her to take her shirt off. He cleared his throat, "Um... no no problem." he said his voice cracking a little bit. He pushed his hair out of his eyes. "Speed... right." he said trying to focus again on quidditch. "You um.. lean down really close to the handle. " He reached over her and gripped the broom in front of her hands he could do that since he was taller than her. But this caused him to be very close against her back, his skin now touching hers. "Just push and then pull the broom the direction you want to go. The lower you get to the broom the less wind passing through it, so you will tend to pick up more speed." he said trying to stay focused on teaching her anything he could remember.

Myles looked Samantha a smile now plastered on his face, anything that would wreak havoc in Ryder's life thrilled him. "I have the most amazing plan. Let's put love potions in their drinks when they come back in. They will fall in love and his girlfriend will never know he had a love potion." Myles looked at Samantha then out the window, "We can send them chocolate from eachother every so often at school as well. So they will be stuck under this love spell. Wouldn't that be insane fun?" he loved to do anything to make good things turn bad. If Samantha was willing to be as mean as he was then maybe she was the kind of girl for him.

"We may have a promising future after all love." he said looking at Samantha.

Myles looked around the cabinet at Samantha and then down at the book, “Well we need frozen ashwinder eggs.” He said pointing at the spell book not to lose his place. He was very set on making the best potion they could make. “It says here that when we’re done it should have a pearl like color to it and the steam will spiral up.” He skimmed down the list of ingredients. “Essence of belladonna. Does your grandmother have any of that?” Myles was a little impatient with how slow Samantha was looking for these things. “Hurry up love, we must finish this before they come in from their quidditch playing, they will be thirsty and we will have just the drink.” He grabbed a bottle of oyster juice from the cabinet. “We need some of this as well.” He looked at her; she looked so cute in the hunt for these items. “Find me some chocolate and paprika, those are imperative.” He scanned his finger down the list. “Can we get a hold of some crushed strawberries?” he said looking up at Samantha again. "We need the dust of a rhinocerus horn." He laughed for a minute to himself. "That must have been hard to get."

He had a smile on his face again. He liked doing things like this, more because it was fun to him to mess with people’s lives. He looked disgusted for a moment “We need two teaspoons of atta laevigata, preferably alive. Well it will be for a few moments anyway.” He would never eat any sort of bug; they made his stomach cringe. “Only a couple more things, we need five inches of kelp, dried kelp.” He said correcting himself. “We need two cups of milk.” He looked over at the bottom of the potion book there was a star with something marked clearly even circled in red. “Small pinch of yohimbine. It says here to make sure it is only a small amount, it says it will kill you if you use it in excessive amounts.” He looked at Samantha. “Killing them would be bad.” He put the book down on the table near the cauldron. “Shall we get started brewing then, just follow these steps love, I will hand you the mixed ingredients.” He pulled all the ingredients near himself and began mixing and smashing things together glancing at the book every so often.

Outside Alexandria had just pulled Ryder’s broom to the ground, he stepped off of it still holding it in his hand. He looked up at her, “Well in order to play a friendly game of quidditch we need quite a few more players Alexa..” He said correcting her. “But if its money you like to wager… I will gladly guard the hoops and you can try and by try I mean won’t score on me. Isn’t it a chaser what you want to try out for anyway?” Ryder’s cocky side came out, but he was sure that he would beat her, if there was only one thing he was actually good at, it was quidditch. “Put your money where your mouth is James.” He flipped his hair out of his face. Ryder thought greatness was overrated but he did know that the only thing he had ever planned on in his life was playing pro-quidditch. So he would have to win, to prove to her that he was going to make it pro one day.
