It's summer break of 2064, and 15, going on 16, year old Taylor Bennett is off home to Ireland, as usual.
She's prepared to have fun with her cousins, Shane and Kelsey, like the past two summers. Only, two weeks before she is set to get to Ireland, Shane, Kelsey, and Taylor's new friends, the twins, Colleen and Liam are sent to be with some distant relative for some unknown reason, and it has Taylor's uncle in a state of panic.

Still, Taylor's excited to go back to Ireland. To live in the big house over looking the breezy shores, to be able to joke and play around with her good friend Shay. And especially to be able to see Cullen.

Right before she leaves, Taylor is told by her uncle, that she is allowed to bring some friends with her. Of course, she decides to bring one of her oldest and best friend, Savannah. Also coming with her, is Benny and Sam Edwards, and Velencia and Dusty Phoenix. And last but not least, is Jack Langley, the captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team who has Taylor head over heels.

Taylor has pretty much no worries this summer. The only worry she has, besides just having fun with her friends, is how she will deal with spending time with both of the guys she likes, Jack and Cullen, and whether either of them likes her.

That is, until, Taylor's uncle suddenly bans her and her friends from the ocean. What's wrong with the ocean? Something to do with some dark magic, that Taylor's uncle is not telling anyone...........But that won't stop Taylor and her friends from having the time of their lives! They still try and sneak out to the beach to have fun......But, will it be a wasted effort? Will they be caught? Will they have to find out about the dark magic the hard way?

Looking around the train compartment she was sitting in, Taylor Bennet let out a sigh. She unstuck her sweaty hair from the back of her seat. It was nearing four in the morning, and it was still sweltering hot. Certainly there were many wizard forms of transportation they could have taken, yet, her uncle has said she and her friends had to take muggle processes. Counting this train, they'd been on three trains and a boat. Taylor couldn't take much more of this. She tried to push these thoughts out of her mind. She should be happy! She was going to spend time with her friends from school, as well as her home friends. Yet, she couldn't seem to get it out of her head that something was wrong. Why was her uncle acting so strange lately? And why were the twins and her cousins forced to leave Ireland for a while? It didn't make much sense to Taylor, but she shrugged it off.

Be happy! She told herself. She was going to get to introduce Savannah, her best friend, to Cullen, which she'd wanted to do for a year now. They would spend days at the beach, or in the humongous house that she'd grown to love, with the big window in the back room, overlooking the ocean sunsets. The thought made her smile. She looked around, once more, at the friends with her on the train, and smiled.

It was so dark, she couldn't tell who was sleeping and who was awake. It was so quiet. So dark. She could just barely make out the shapes of her friends. She could just see the forms of Jack and Vannah....everyone else wasn't even close enough to see. And that was saying something, considering they were in a 8' by 8' compartment. Barely able to stand it anymore, she pulled a rubber band out of her bag, and put her chesnut brown hair up into a ponytail, and rested her head on the back of the seat next to her. She sighed, wondering if anyone was awake to talk, but not wanting to ask, in case they were sleeping. Only about half an hour left, and she wouldn't be worried anymore; everything would be fine, and she would have fun!
"Vannah?" she whispered, almost inaudibly, in case she was sleeping. She called out names, wanting to talk with anyone at all, "Jack? Sam? Valencia?"

This was probably the most traveling she had done in a long time, or her life actually. Wizarding transportation was rather quick, something she was use to. But, this was rather fun..first time thing, right? Yes. It was fun.

Plus, it was all to go to Taylor's, one of her few best friends she had made on the very first night she had started her education at Hogwarts. Vanna couldn't help but smile at the thought of that day; when She had met five amazing badger's: Taylor, MJ, Beck, Lizzie and last but definitely not least, Curt. And of course, she had already known Molly and Amelia, from them talking to her in Diagon alley weeks before that time.

Savannahs eyelids fluttered open with ease, ocean blue eyes scanning the nearly pitch black compartment, no tiredness was shown in her expression at all. On the contrary, she was fully awake and had been for awhile now. "Tayzer," She responded to the almost silent whisper with a tone much similar. Shifting quietly, the fifteen year old stretched out her legs abit, careful not to hit anyone incase she was that close. If she was, she couldn't tell. The small amount of moonlight trying to seep through the blinds of the window didn't help, unfortunately. "How much longer?"

Relieved to find that someone was awake, Taylor smiled into the darkness. Now that Vannah was looking at her, Taylor could see the sparkle of her blue eyes. "Not much longer." she replied, "I think only about twenty minutes.....maybe even less." She shifted in her seat, so that she was facing sideways, with her back against the exterior wall in the train. "I'm sorry, Vannah. I didn't realize we would be going by muggle transportation. This must really suck, huh?" she whispered. "But, my uncle is going to meet us at the train station as soon as we arrive, so we'll be able to get straight home and sleep for a while. And then tomorrow will be fun!"

Trying to distract herself from her boredom, she decided to talk randomly about when they got there. "My uncle has a huge house, ya know." she said, "I can't wait to show you the back room. The whole wall is like a window, overlooking the seashore. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, at sun down. And the house elves has most definitely fixed up my room, because I know I didn't leave it in a state that's presentable for guests." she made a face at this. Though she enjoyed the leisure of having house elves do all the house work, she didn't like them having to do it. She usually always did things for herself when she was home. "Anyway, I'm not sure whether they brought more beds in there for you guys, and the guest room for the boys, or if you guys are all going to get your own rooms. I guess it's up to you." she sat back in her seat and glanced out the window.

"Alright..Oh, no need to apologize! It's a new experience, I'll give you that. I kinda like it though," Savs continued in a hushed voice, smiling gently to the dark figure she knew as Taylor. They were with friends, traveling without an adult to tell them what to do, it was actually interesting, and rather fun. Truth be told, Savannah was enjoying it.

Beaming almost, Savannah let out a soft giggle. "That sounds really wonderful. I can't wait to see it, and meet those friends of you'res." Then shaking her head to say no, Vannah felt silly, reminding herself it was dark and unlikely that Tay would notice; because obviously no noise would come from her head bobbing. "No, that's alright, I'd rather stay in your room.." Trailing off, she stole a glance in the direction she assumed Sam and Vee were in. "I think the girls will agree with me, knowing them.." She added.

Letting her mind wonder briefly and her gaze drift towards the window as well, "Did Curt ever say if he was coming or not? Or do you think there's a chance he might still?" She asked, curiousity coating her faint, rather hopeful, tone. The girl did take notice to everyone else seemed to be asleep, and tried extremely hard not to wake them.

"You like it?" Taylor asked, a little baffled. She, of course, had grown up with muggles before even knowing of her uncle's existence, and therefore thought very dully of cars and trains. "Well, I'll admit, it was an interesting experience....before they all fell asleep," she smiled. If the others woke up, it was bound to be one huge party.

"Mmhmmm," Taylor agreed, "I really hope you like Cullen and Shay! I hope you all like them...." she trailed off, looking around at her sleeping friends. "Okay then," she smiled, "I'm sure we have enough things to pull into my room for all us girls to be comfortable in there. And then the guys can have the guest room, I suppose."

Taylor shook her head, quite pointlessly, "No, he didn't." she sighed. She had really wished Curt would have been here. She missed him a lot, "But, hey, we can still hope, right? You never know, maybe he'll just show up." she gave a reassuring smile, again, pointlessly. Actually, she really did hope Curt would end up coming. She missed Curt a lot...

Jack's forehead was stuck to the window as he had had his head pressed to the glass for the past hour, maybe more, not looking at what was flying by but in his own world and thinking of nothing in particular. He couldn't sleep when travelling so he'd just ended up daydreaming. On hearing Taylor's voice he 'came back to Earth' but didn't look round. After a while though, he got bored of listening and peeled his forehead off the glass and turned to them, stretching out his stiff neck. His eyebrows raised, as the often did, when Taylor said about the huge house. He lived in a tiny rented house in London and looked forward to seeing this. "So what are we doing all summer then?" He asked, randomly. He was excited about having a proper holiday, he hadn't ever been abroad.

Savannah only nodded in response to her friend. She was halfblooded, and up until she turned thirteen and moved in with her older sister, Vanna had lived in a muggle town; always doing things the none-wizarding way. Now, living in a wizarding town didn't change too much. They used magic quite abit, but there was limits too. Traveling was the exception, always. So this was new, and for once in her life, she liked new.

"I'm sure I will, there's few people I can't get along with." She informed the obvious, while still watching the trees and early morning night scenery pass by. Adding a "Mmmhhmm," In agreement to the room arangements.

Only when her question was answered, Vannah turned back to face Taylor; pulling her legs up onto the seat (Managing not to accidentally kick anyone) and shifted into a more comfortable position with her knees under her. "Yeah..He might. I'm sure everythings fine though, he might have had a family thing or something like that." She said, reassuringly dismissing any kind of concern; more so to keep thoughts of worry from her own mind but failed. It was naturally her nature to worry about the people close to her, and Curt was definitely on that list. "Anyways.." Savannah murmured, hiding a small frown she brushed her bangs out of her view and leaned into the back of her seat more, propping her head up with her hand.

Taylor looked over at Jack, hearing his voice. "Hey, there," she smiled, "I didn't know you were awake." She turned in her seat ahain, so that now she could face both Jack and Vannah. "Well," she said, not entirely sure herself, what they were to do, "The house looks right over the beach, so we'll probably get to spend a lot of time there, ya know, swimming and stuff. And also, there's a really cool muggle sport, called surfing, that you do in the water, if you've never heard of it, and it's a lot of fun. Also, well last year, we played a lot of soccer, another muggle sport. Oh, and there's this huge field to the side of the house, and it's perfect to play Quidditch in. It's in a whole wizards' village, so we don't have to be worried about any muggles seeing us play." she smiled, knowing the Jack would love that. "Anyway, that was the only place I could play Quidditch here, because, I think I told you before, girls weren't allowed to play at the school I went to."

She yawned, terribly tired, but not able to fall asleep. "Anyway, I don't think there's any set plans for what we're going to do.... But, if there's anything you guys want to do while we're here, I'm totally up for it."

Sam woke with a start. Realizing where she was, she chuckled to herself. Duh! She was still on the train! She couldnt believe she had almost forgot she was on the train with her cousin and a few friends, on their way to Ireland.

Sam was glad she wasnt going home. Her mom had mentioned something about cleaning all summer. She didnt especially want to clean the whole summer. So when she was invited to go to a beautiful country like Ireland, she couldnt let that go. Plus she would be there with a bunch of people she loved and couldnt choose any more people she would want to be there.

Seeing that her hair was a mess, she took out her ponytail and let down her reddish brown hair. When the sun hit the side of her head, a natrual red streak was seen in her hair. She had her mother's hair. After putting her hair back up, she turned to everybody else and said, "So, are we almost there?"

Benny slowly woke up, as his sister next to him jumped. She had hit him in the arm when she woke up, so now he was awake. Stretching his arms out, he "accidently" hit her on the side of the head. Which earned a scowl from her. He chuckled at her and turned to everybody else. He saw that some of them were already awake, while other people were still asleep.

Looking at Dusty, he couldnt help but laugh. He knew he shouldnt wake him up, but he couldnt stop himself. He reached out a hand to close his nose, when a hand slapped at it.

"Leave him alone Benny!" Sam said hitting at her older brother. He was becoming more and more michevious. She think Dusty had a little to do with it. Not wanting to know what kind of things they got into at school, she turned back to Taylor, Savannah and Jack.

Waking with a start, Dusty scowled into the dark. "Benny I swear to god," he threatened, of course with a smile on his face. He then sat up, seeing as he was laying on the floor. His sister was taking up the seat he had vacated, out of the goodness of his heart of course. He leaned against the wall, then silently flicked Benny's ear.

"Couldn't resist mate," he chuckled, giving him an award winning grin. He then looked to his sister who seemed to be stirring now and patted her shoulder lightly. "You're the only one asleep Vee. Levante," he whispered into her ear.

What he really wanted was for her to see the Irish terrain. A bunch of their cousins lived here and they had visited many times before. He now was excited to visit somewhere totally new to him. And of course, somewhere that he and Ben could goof off. Then again, no matter where they were they always found a way, much to his sister's dismay.

Valencia's sea green eyes opened at the sweet Spanish words her brother spoke. She sat up with a little difficulty then leaned against her chair. "How long have I been asleep?" she asked the room. All she could remember was them talking and then Dusty fall asleep on the floor. I swear that kid can sleep anywhere, she thought as she looked at his disheveled hair.

She reached down and smoothed out his black locks as best as she could, but finally came to the conclusion that it was useless. Instead she busied herself by putting her own golden brown curls in a ponytail. "So, how much longer?" she again addressed everyone.

Truthfully, she couldn't wait to see Taylor's home. She had recently met this girl and had gotten along quite well with her. She had also met Jack and thought he was a nice guy as well. Maybe he'd be able to instill some more sanity into Dusty's head. Yeah right. That kid was bound to get into some sort of trouble, with Benny's help of course. Then again, knowing the two of them, they'd probably poison Jack's mind.

Benny laughed as Sam tried to hit his hand away. He was still able to wake Dusty up, so it didnt matter. He then felt in the darkness a hand flick his ear. "Hey!" he chuckled. He was glad Dusty was finally awake.

"How did you end up on the floor mate?" he asked with a smile. He looked up and saw that Valencia was curled up in two seats. He must of given up his seat for her. "Ahhh what a sweet brother." he chuckled.

As Ve began to wake up he smiled at her. "You have been asleep for twenty hours straight. We have already been to Ireland and we're now heading back." he said micheviously.

"Arent you in a playful mood." Sam said as her brother began making lies. "Where is the Benny who hates mornings?" she asked curiously. A smile was playing on the young Gryffindor's face as she shook her head at her older sibling.

She looked out the window, as it began speeding past a beautiful field. Where ever they were now, it was really green. She loved looking at the passing trees and saw the sun poking out from behind the sun. Today was going to be a great day to arrive in Ireland.

"Soccor?" Savannah repeated that glorious word. A small smile appearing once more, on her face. Oh yes, soccor was good. Very, very good. "Can we play that, at somepoint?" Or. . . Alot? She thought.

Give Savannah a soccor ball, and she'd be entertained for hours on end.

The thought of soccor almost made her laugh; remembering her short conversation with Jared, Curt's older brother whom was learning how to play, from muggle's that lived near him.

Being pulled back to earth, Vannah smiled. Taking notice that everyone was now awake, and the sun was peeking into their compartment. "I think we'll be arriving anytime now." She answered, her tone lifting to a normal level from the faint one.

Sitting up more from the comfortable leaning position she had been in, the fifteen year old grabbed her dark brown messenger bag from below her seat and set it down on her lap; dropping the thick strap over her head, onto the other shoulder and moved her arm. "Your insane, Ben." Savs commented, casually and glanced over at her seventeen year old cousin.

OOC: Taylor won't be back until monday evening (28th), just to let you all know why she has/she will be absent.

"Yes, I'm a very nice brother. I value my sister's comfort," Dusty chuckled as he nudged Ben in the dark. It was hard to see him, but he thought he got him in the shoulder. "And you know I can sleep anywhere." This was completely true. He could remember a time when he and his muggle friends had been at a park down the street from his old house and he had gotten tired and fallen asleep on a park bench; later he had realized that he had fallen off and was on wood chips.

"Benny don't scare me like that," Valencia said, sticking her tongue out at her friend. She rolled her sea green eyes to the ceiling when she had heard him begin to act insane with her brother. Yes, this was only the beginning. She was sure to endure many of their small jokes and pranks while in Ireland. "Hey, we might be able to catch one of Finn's games while we're here Dust!" she exclaimed, squeezing her little brother's shoulder. Their older cousin was a professional Gaelic Football player and MVP on his team. He was definitely an idol of theirs.

Taylor smiled at them all, not having anything to say. She beamed to Savannah, "Of course, we can play soccer! We can play all summer, if we want to!" Of course, I wouldn't mind that! she added in her head. Soccer was great. Before and between Hogwarts terms, soccer was the core of her existance. Her schedule for summers was usually wake up, soccer, breakfast, soccer, hang out with friends, soccer, lunch, soccer, walk on the beach, soccer, dinner, soccer, shopping, soccer, sleep. And the next day, it would all repeat itself again! With the occasional trip to the amusement park to ride a few roller coasters! Of course, this summer would be different. Especially now that her friends were with her! She smiled at them all, again.

Just then, she was lurched forward, and she realized the train had come to a stop. She giggled with pleasure and delight, "Ooh, guys! We're here! Finally!" she hopped up, and tried to make sure everyone else was up and moving, before turning around and getting her stuff. In just a matter of minutes, (seconds, maybe) she would be seeing her uncle again, Shay, Cullen....the thought simply made her beam.

Benny chuckled at Dusty and nodded. "You could fall asleep anywhere." he said. That boy could sleep through anything too. It was funny. He felt him feeling him in the dark. "Ha! What are you touching me for?" he laughed.

As the train lurched, he instinctivly put out his arm and caught Sam in the stomach. He then looked around to make sure she was alright, which she was. Standing up, he put on a broad smile. "Were here it looks like it."he said outloud.

Sam, not paying attention, slid forward. She almost fell off her seat, but an arm caught her by her stomach. The arm pushed her back onto her seat and made sure she was seating again. "Thanks Benny." she said. She then got up from her seat and stretched.

"Where do we go now, Tay?" she asked. She couldnt wait for the summer to begin. It was going to be so much fun!

Finally the anticipation was winding down. She smiled at Sam, "Uhm, well, if we've got our stuff, I guess we can just go meet my uncle at the station...This is the first time I've travelled by train to get here. So this is new for me, too." She looked around, making sure everyone was up and started to pull her things off the shelves above the seats. Of course she could've put all their stuff in the luggage car, but Taylor just had to do things to hard way... By the time she had all of everyone's things on the ground (in record time, too), there was pretty much no where to stand. "Ah. Sorry." She said, "Come on guys!" With a sudden thought, she panicked.

"Oh, no!" she squealed, "I'll be right back guys!" She grabbed her small purse and ran out the door. She had to fix her hair and makeup. She couldn't go out to greet everyone looking like she'd just travelled for hours. Especially Cullen. Within two minutes, she returned to her friends, feeling refreshed. "Ok! Let's go!" and she led the way off of the train.

Owen Bennet stood in the station with his neice's friends, Shay and Cullen.
"Well kids, they should be off the train any second." he said smiling. He looked over at the train, waiting for Taylor and her school friends to come off. He was glad to be able to see Taylor, but he still couldn't shake the bad feeling he had off. Hopefully after seeing all these teens happy, it would change.

Shay was barely able to stand still. She rocked back and forth on her feet. "I know!" she said, her curls bouncing. She had had another amazing year, and couldn't wait to tell Taylor all about it! She turned to Cullen, "Cullen! Come on! Can't you wait! She's finally coming back! And I'll bet her Hogwarts friends are amazing!"

Stepping off of the train, Taylor immediately spotted her uncle, Shay, and Cullen. She ran over to them smiling brightly, trying to hold back the squeal. "Uncle Owen!" she said hugging him quickly and turning to Shay, and gave her a hug, "Shay, I've missed you!" Lastly, she turned to Cullen, and couldn't help but hug him, too. This time, she didn't know what to say, she just hugged him, and then her arms fall, slightly embarrassed. "Oh. Shay, Cullen, this is Jack, Vannah, Sam, Benny, Valencia, and Dusty!"

Jack clambered off the train, stretching his legs and collecting his suitcase. He was excited about playing football, playing Quidditch and generally hanging out with his friends all summer rather than working the whole time. He watched with a smile as Taylor was reunited with her Uncle and Shay but his smile dropped when she hugged Cullen. He was all she could talk about and he was slightly annoyed by this. He frowned but said nothing and just watched. Taylor and Vannah were the only people he really knew on this trip and she spent most of her time with Cullen he'd be quite lonely.

"OK. Erm." He started. "I'm Jack. Jack Langley. Nice to meet you." He said, shaking Taylor's Uncle's hand. He was trying to sound pleasant and friendly and he smiled at Shay but turned away from Cullen and moved back to stand next to Savannah.

Sam climbed off the train with a book bag over her shoulder and held her trunk in her other hand. Her chocolate brown eyes scanned the train station and she set on Taylor and a couple of people she had to figure were her uncle and friends. She walked over to them and set her trunk down.

"Hello. Im Sam. Thank you for having us all over Mr. Bennet." She said politely. She then took the ponytail holder out of her hair and ran her hand through her long hair. After getting a couple of tangles out she threw it back into a ponytail. She then nervously waited for them to go where ever they were heading to.

After picking up his backpack and his huge overnight bag, he looked around the train. "My hat!" he said. He didnt go anywhere without his navy baseball hat. He got onto his hands and knees and began searching for it. After reaching under all the seats, he finally found it under Vannah's bag. He set it back onto his head and picked up his belongings again.

He took the steps off the train slowly and walked over to where everybody was standing. Nodding a hello to the other two people he didnt know, he introduced himself. "My name is Benny. Nice to meet you all."

Benny looked over at Sam and saw that she had that same shy look that Danny was famous for. He nudged her in the side and gave her a playful smile. "Dont look so glum." he chuckled. He knew Sam could be a little scared in a new place. He remember the first time they left the country to go to a friends house for the summer. She was a little shaky and he could tell she was scared. She must still have that same small fear of a new place.
