SHELdon Ambrose + SarAH Corner -> Shelah<3.

Current Gryffindor Sarah Corner, and former lion Sheldon Ambrose, are in love [They even wear promise rings now, SQUEE!], and this RP begins after Shel graduates, and will follow their lives after that. It's going to be done in chapters, and the current characters are Sarah Corner [me/Samia] and Sheldon Ambrose [SenoritaMaxie], though guest charries WILL be invited for future chapters.

Please don't join unless you are asked to, or request permission from Maxxie or me.

Trust his mum to do this.

They were.. in a car. At least, Shel was in a car. Sarah was in the car, too, actually, but the fact was - they were in car. And that was all her idea. Her = NOT SarSar. Her = That Queen of all beautiful she-devils, X. Ambrose, also known as SHELDON AMBROSE'S MOTHER.

It was raining outside, but the windows had been rolled-up, so you really couldn't see much. Well, you could, but not that much. "Aren't you excited we're going to see my mum?" Shel asked, slowing THE THING down and turning round to look at Tooth Fairy.

Too bad she didn't know they weren't going to see his mum.

It was all HER plan, you know.

Sarah Jayne was lost in her own world. Rain did that to her, you know. She was remembering the first time, Shel had kissed her. It had been raining then too.

A smile tugged on the corner of her lips, as she stared out the window- it was little that you could see, but rain was always too pretty to miss.

Shel's words brought her back, she turned to look at him. "Yes, the last I saw her was when she drove us to that friend of yours," When she had first met Sheldon's mother, Sarah had been so very surprised- but then she had realized it was her Shel got his genes from.

Shel's mother was a rather amazing lady, yes sir.

"So where exactly are we going?" she asked, again. Shel hadn't actually told her where was his mum. Only when Sarah had arrived to meet him, he had asked her if she wanted to meet his mum- and she had said 'Ofcourse'

"She keeps poking me to bring you over to meet her," Shel said, shaking his head as he referred to his oh-so-dear, silver-haired mother. "One would think it's she, and not me, who's dating you." Which was true: His mum did seem to love SarSar like mad.

More than she loves me, at any rate.

"We're going somewhere really pretty," he told Sarah, his eyes twinkling as he turned to look her way. "It even has a pink octopus that glows orange." Which was such a lie. "I've heard it doesn't eat anything but branded, chocolate chip cookies, though, so I'm not sure if you'll get a chance to feed him. Or is it a her?"

The car seemed to float over the rain-spattered ground - which ground smelled awesome, thick with the scent of wet mud and wetter roses - its wheels making pretty inaudible, sliding noises as they churned along. After what seemed, to him, like an hour - but was actually ten minutes - they finally came to a halt.

Shel removed his hands from the steering wheel, and turned to look at Sarah, realizing just beautiful she had grown. Of course, he had always known she was pretty, but it was just hitting him, now, how much of the adjective she really was. "If I ask you to close your eyes, will you?" he asked casually, hand on the car-door.

This could go on forever, really. Sarah could just sit there and listen to Shel talk, talk and talk more. All Sarah did was gaze into his eyes and at his face with clear adoration while he talked.

She laughed at his silly stories and nodded at others- the whole time as the car sprawled and splashed through the wet road, Sarah talked less, laughed more and forgot that they were actually going somewhere.

And then the car came to a halt, for a minute Sarah was actually surprised- but then she looked out the window and her brows furrowed. There was rain outside, so much rain. Water everywhere. She chuckled. "I can't see anything,"

She turned to look at him and curiously raised her brow. "Depends," she grinned. "Why do you want me to?" she casually asked, honestly not sure why would he ask her that.

Plan A = Huge!Fail.

So she wasn't closing her eyes. Good. Really good. Without a word, Shel opened the car-door at his side and, getting out of the oh-so-awesome black THING that was toterly Mrs. Ambrose's idea, walked over to its other side. Once this was done, he held the door open for Sarah and ....

- And placed one hand over her eyes, before she could so much as take a peek at her surroundings. Plan B = So far, so good => Awesomeness! Eyes closed, now? Brilliant! With his own free hand, Shel gently took one of her hands, leading her out of the car.

Since she couldn't see and all, you know.

"If you try to peek, I'm going to be sad, mmkay?" he told Sarah, pretty cheerfully. Hopefully, she wouldn't try to look, now. [She did care about him getting sad, didn't she? --- Hopefully.] "I'll be sad AND not show you the pink octopus that glows orange." Tee hee. You know what?

This.

Was.

Going.

To.

Be.

SUCHFUN!

It was evening, but visitors around the place were few, for reasons unknown but quite appreciated by Shel. From the entrance, he went down the dusty trail he had seen only once, before - and fallen in love with, too - reaching, as he had known he would, steep barriers of sandstone that rose like walls of pale, rose red. The narrow cleft, the entrance....

- The route he loved to dream of.

Sand seemed to float, beneath his shoes. Shel inhaled deeply, taking in the scent he had last breathed so, so long ago, as the walls continued rising -- scores - no, hundreds - of metres that proceeded upwards. But the path had narrowed.... Shel had expected it to narrow: It was just the way things were, had been made, here.

There was no light where they were, not any longer: the towering walls shut out the last of the evening glow, their presence strangely looming. Heavy. Sandy. Twist, turn; turn, twist; turn.

--- Light.

Beautiful pillars, pillars that supported a portico nearby. And the cleft. The cleft that let in the light, the beautiful, glowing red-sandstone-like light that charmed - no, enchanted, so very enchanted - him beyond all reason. The light trickled in and, as it did so, trickled in, too, the first glimpse of the ancient "rose-red city half as old as time."

Petra.

"You can look, now," Shel said quietly, removing his hand from Sarah's eyes. The light trickled in, pale rose-red to the very core and, for a moment, he felt as if the whole world was silent.

Sarah watched when Shel, without any word, stepped out the car. Her eyes glanced at the window and strange enough she couldn't see him. Was it really raining that hard?

The door on her side, clicked and opened. But before she could see anything, his hand covered her eyes. Sarah felt a lurch of excitement right in her stomach. His other hand wrapped itself round hers and she found herself being pulled gently out. Sarah expected her feet landing on a pool of wet ground and heavy rain coming down in huge drops on her - but there was nothing. Her eyes pulled in confusion.

Really, nothing. Instead, a cool atmosphere trickled her skin.

- Sarah found herself biting her lower lip, when a bubble of curiosity surged through her, but she kept quite. If Shel wanted this to be a surprise, then surprise it was. So she slowly nodded her head when he asked her not to peeek or he would be sad.

Somehow, she figured they weren't really going to see his mother today. Or were they?

Shel lead her forward, they walked and Sarah picked on, even, the little details she felt. Her feet felt prickling sand- she smiled at the feeling of it. Not sure what to expect. Sarah knew they were walking in deep, it was instinct. And then a light distinct scent of her new surrounding crept on her. She inhaled lightly- and decided she liked it.

They could have been walking for forever now but Shel stopped. And his hands left her eyes. She had her eyes closed, so when Shel asked her to open them. - For some reason, as eager as she was, Sarah also was scared to look. This felt to be a rather deepening moment -

- slowly she opened her eyes and glowing red .. sand. beauty.

A gasp, stopped in her throat- while her eyes widened to absorb the .. magnificent beauty that this was. Sarah was not sure how to describe it, words could not mean into anything. Expression could not mean into anything. Everything failed her - when she tried searching a way to describe. Her feet stumbled backwards and her side leaned into Shel.

"Shel .." she spoke, eyes still feasting on everything. " .. this is .. "

No words.

It. Was. So. Beautiful.

Shel had always loved this place. Since the time he had first walked through the Siq, since the time he had first viewed the closest tomb of rose-red beauty - his heart had been captured, enchanted.

.... To the very core.

He could tell from Sarah's expressions that she liked the place. Maybe loved. But, for now, he was under the enchantment of the city nature and skill had carved - alongside and, somehow, as one. He felt Sarah stumble, he felt her lean into him and, almost without breathing, almost without knowing, he wrapped an arm around her waist.

"I love this place," he said quietly. "I -"

He had not expected it to happen, this way. He had not expected it to just blurt itself out, to just take the shape of words without his even knowing it, without his even realizing it. For before he could stop himself, before he could even understand what was happening, Shel had dropped down on one knee, and held out a diamond ring.

"Sarah Jayne Corner, will you marry me?"

His arm wrapped around her waist and Sarah leaned in more comfortably. “This place is .. beautiful,” she nodded. That was a simple way of putting it.

The place was enchanted and breath taking from every corner possible. She hadn't turned to see his face, yet- too busy looking everywhere possible, liking everything possible. If she had turned to look at his face .. she might have noticed.

- thats how her instincts were right. What moment this really was.

And in a spur of a moment, when Sarah was still just feeling glad to enjoy the place and the moment and the idea that she was spending time with the one she loved so dearly much - everything turned.

Sheldon Ambrose was on his knee. One knee.

And he was looking at her, those big, beautiful eyes gazing up hers. And a sudden rush of panic mixed with the realization of what was happening filled her. Breathing stopped, her heart pounded - with glee. With happiness.

“Sarah Jayne Corner, will you marry me?”

Sarah could have died right there, the impact of those words hit her like big load of truck and took her breath away completely and suddenly she didn't feel her pounding heart anymore. It had either stopped or gone silent as everything else had, time and universe. Her eyes fell to the ring that now he held.

She could hear nothing- just the electric fireworks of the moment. Every single time, every single moment, every single embrace, every single touch- every single kiss flooded her mind -

- her trembling hands, brushed his cheek gently.

.. She loved him.

Strange how through time, their eyes remained the same, her and his- Sarah held his gaze in hers- she recognized so much of him, just by looking in those eyes and a weak whisper made its way out: “Yes,”

What had he done?

He loved her, loved her so much, and he knew - Shel knew she loved him. But this was a huge decision, almost startlingly huge. What if she said no, what if she turned him down?

Perhaps he had rushed into things, perhaps he should not have said this, right now. But he had wanted to, how could he wait any longer? He just loved her too much.... He -

He was an idiot for saying this.

He was not even sure if she was ready for this. But he hadn't expected to say it just now - it was his tongue, his stupid tongue. Never had been able to control it much, had he? And now he had said it, and now she would turn him down, and everything would be over and -

Yes.

Shel was so sure he was dreaming.

Yes.

It was like that was the one word he had been waiting for all his life, the one word he had lived for. Should he have expected it? If truth be told, he had expected nothing. And this was - it was so - this -

-- He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her.

It was, perhaps, the fieriest he had ever kissed her. The movement was impulsive, inadvertent - everything that comes under the heading of "absolutely unplanned, totally sudden." It surprised his own self, much the same way his asking her if she would marry him, had surprised himself.

Shel held on to her, his arms rising to pull her closer, and everything so fiery, so breathless, so -

He did not want to pull away.

She has said Yes. She had actually said Yes.

And now felt a relief all over her. Now that she was officially his. Wow. Sarah Corner was now officially Sheldon Ambrose's. That thought alone triggered all the electrifying charge in her.

And Sheldon was kissing her and Sarah would have fallen by the power of it - if she hadn't immediately wrapped her arms round him and his arms weren't round her own waist.

The kiss felt .. ecstatic. So different from all the others, they had shared. Sarah wanted to match his enthusiasm but almost failed- because, Shel never had showed her this type of happiness before.

And she felt a flush rising in her cheeks, thinking that her 'yes' had did this to him. Shel pulled her closer and Sarah felt to be home. With much reluctance she pulled back, if it hadn't been for her lungs needing air.

Breathless, Sarah rested her forehead against his. "I .." she breathed, chuckling at the way she sounded. She felt silly.

She didn't say anything for a while, just worked on getting her breathing back to normal- listening to his breathing, feeling his arms around her.

Her lips twitched into a grin. "You seem happy."

There was no doubt that the kiss had made him forget reality. Forget everything - everything except them.

Shel felt a twinge of regret when Sarah pulled away, felt like he wanted to wrap his arms around her again, kiss her again, kiss her again with fervour to match that last kiss - fervour to surpass that last kiss.

Then he felt like he was crazy.

How many things was he forgetting, here? Sure, he had not forgotten the fact that she was here, with him, and that she had answered his question with a "yes," but he had definitely forgotten the ring. THE ring.

The blond-haired guy smiled slightly at his own forgetfulness, gently taking her hand and slipping the diamond ring on to her finger. It looked so perfect there, just the way he had imagined in all of those crazy daydreams, just the way he wanted it to look, just the way....

Even in his thoughts, he was rambling.

--- But it felt so right, so very right.

The corners of his mouth twitched as she spoke, and Shel had to make an effort not to grin - an effort which failed miserably, because grin he did. "I think I might be," he said, still grinning. "Yeah, I think I might be happy. What do you think?"

A little too happy. Ecstatic.

The flutter of excitement took a whole new level when Shel gently took her hand and slipped in the ring. The Diamond ring -

- Sarah's gleamed with joy, awe and whatnot. The ring was a beauty. She trusted - only Shel could have a choice like that. Yes. Only he could make the moment so perfect, by bringing her hair - and making it all so perfect by just being the one.

Without waiting, she threw her arms around him, already feeling very comfortable with the ring in her finger. “Well what do you know - I am officially going to be Mr. Ambrose's” she grinned lazily, kissing him gently.

Sarah could list quite a number of things she could do - now that she was officially his and he was hers.

She could kiss him, all she wanted - shamelessly and lovingly.

She could walk around beaming the words 'taken by Mr. Ambrose forever and more'.

She could love him unconditionally, all she wanted.

“I love you,” she whispered against his lips. “thank you.”

I am officially going to be Mr. Ambrose's.

It was strange, how those words affected him. Shel knew what he had done, knew what he had just asked her to accept, but her words seemed to throw him off his feet, make him realize, in full intensity, what his actions meant.

He had never been this happy.

"I love you, too," he whispered, against her lips. He was going to lose all control if he stayed like this, Shel was so sure of it. With an effort he pulled away, even though his eyes made it more than clear he did not want to.

"Well," he said, a little breathless but clearly trying to get a grip. "Do you realize you're going to be Mrs. Ambrose soon, Tooth Fairy?"

It took all of his self-control not to kiss her again, right there, right then. Shel raised her hands, raised both of them to his lips, kissing them gently, very gently, before placing his arms around her waist. "I wish this could last forever," he said quietly. "Longer than forever."

-- Forever seemed too short a time.

Too short. Too short!

Mrs. Ambrose. - Sarah hadn't really gone through that little detail in her mind. So when Shel himself said it- the coloring of her cheeks were almost inevitable.

"Yes," she replied - sheepish grin, flaring up with red. ".. Mrs Sheldon Ambrose," she replied, her voice small. Why did that make her feel like a hundred butterflies just set loose in her stomach? Because she had just took a big step towards commitment and with the man she loved so much.

- His arms went round her waist and she rested her own hands on his shoulders gently. "Maybe this can't last forever -" she said, her hands slowly snaking round his neck so her fingers could tug in his hair. Oh his hair. " - but we do have forever .." her voice remained soft and then she smiled.

" I think we will have many more moments like this now .."

She was colouring. It was an adorable blush, and Shel loved seeing it spread across her cheeks. "We're not in Hogwarts anymore," He said quietly. He wanted, so badly, to kiss her again. "You need to stop flaunting the Gryffindor colours, SarSar." Could he kiss her, now?

Please?

Pretty please?

He loved the feel of her hands on his shoulders, loved how close she was to him. "Forever," he said quietly, placing his lips against her for a brief moment -- a brief moment that seemed, to him, to last for several lifetimes. "I love you, I - I think we should move before my mother comes to demand why we haven't paid her a visit together, yet."

Cue handsome grin.

Sarah rolled her eyes and poked his side, lightly. Apparently, their forever came with lots of teasing, poking and a bunch of pretty blond hair -

- she sighed, at the beautiful realization.

It was his kiss that broke her train of realizations - its was inevitable really to think over all the beautiful aspects of this commitment now. Mmmhm. However, her brows did shoot up at his words. "So we are going to meet your Mum all along?"

She matched his grin.
