The Plot:

They show up every year at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, wet behind the ears and scared out of their minds. They are the intern Healers, and Mungo's has quite a job ahead to get these youngsters trained up as proper Healers in only one year.

This RP will follow a group of new Healer Interns as they enter the program and Mungo's, all the way to graduation at the end of the year. What sort of friendships and rivalries will develop? Will everyone make it through the year? Join this RP, intended to be high drama and high humor, at your own risk! We will be fast posting and laugh seeking at every turn, and all we ask is that you not check your brain at the door.


Note: At this time, we're asking people only to take on one character until the RP is under way, at which time more may be added. Your character should be an intern/ new Healer, although anyone who is willing to fill in an additional necessary figure who will make occasional appearances (Welcome Witch, Chief of Staff, Resident Healer) can let us know - but please realize this is a secondary character.

Note 2: This RP starts in 2070 and runs concurrent to the SS RPG worlds and canon. If you have a character used in the school/Ministry RPG previously you'd like to bring on as an intern, please feel free. There are also opportunities to "guest star" in the RP as a patient, so please PM SeerCassandraTrelawney or myself if you are interested but are not signing up for the RP and include it in your post if you ARE.

Note 3: Just wanted to do some reminders, because I forgot this myself in creating my character. If your intern went to Hogwarts, remember that we are working with the current RPG canon (so you'll have to consider who was prefect/Quidditch player if you say that your character is). Going to Hogwarts isn't an issue, because we can always assume unnamed students graduated each year.

Note 4: I would read the other bios and see if there is any overlap with your character. For example, did you attend school together? Work at a past job together? This gives you a history with another character, and you could work out with that person how you already know each other and if you have a previous friendship/rivalry. These are fun additions!

Note 5: If during the course of the RP, you mention someone's name that isn't being played by someone, we'll probably grab it and store it in the first post so that everyone references the same unplayed person. Remember also that you can grab and name a secondary character that you play only occasionally. This makes so much sense in my head... poke me if it doesn't to you.

He's a 25 year old. Trevor's father Myles, was a muggle born wizard in a small muggle village. When the villagers discovered he was a wizard, they turned on him and took matters into their own hands by breaking his wand and tying him in the center of the village, and getting ready to burn him. Before they could do so a convertible passed through the village. The witch in the car, looked at the wizard and instantly fell in love with him.

The witch's husband stopped the car at her request, and she, stupifying everyone in her way, saved Myles. The witch explained to Myles she too was a witch and she'd imperioed a wealthy man and married him. Her name was Mia.

Mia and Myles were lived in her husband's home. Myles was the family driver. Mia concieved a child, a girl. Mia named her Donatella and gave her her husband's last name. Myles was furious, but did not oppose her, but when she then gave birth to a son, Trevor, Myles insisted the boy have his last name and Mia agreed.

Trevor grew up in an odd household. His sister was treated as the wealthy daughter, of a muggle man, but he was treated as a servant boy... but Trevor loved her dearly and took care of her any way he could. They both were sent to Hogwarts. Donatella was a Hufflepuff... and Trevor was a Ravenclaw. He excelled at every subject, but when his sister fell ill, he quit the school and set to taking care of her. Her Healers and Muggle Doctors couldn't save her, and she passed away, if was then that Trevor decided he was going to be Healer.

Family: Belonging to a family of five, Lysander is the middle child, overshadowed by her two bubbly and charismatic sisters ever since she could remember. Her father, Hubert Blight, an ex muggle construction worker, was the bread winner of the family. Lysander’s Mother, Mrs. Nydia Blight functioned as a stay at home mother until her daughters moved out on their own. Currently, she works as a freelance writer of magical romance novels in an attempt to make ends meet.

Background: Lysander was supposed to be a boy, according to her parents. It was the reasoning behind her misleading first name. Her magical mother was startled yet delighted to find out that their second child was also a daughter. A child is a gift, no matter what, she would say; however, Lysa’s Father would occasionally grumble about the lack of testosterone to balance out the estrogen in the household. Comfortable with being away from her parent’s scrutinizing eyes, Lysa focused on her academics well aware that she could not defeat her sisters with her personality. If she could not win her family’s affection kindly, then in the very least, she could win their respect with hard work. Although, Lysander did quite well in school, it wasn’t easy. One wrought with what seemed cronic daydreaming, it was difficult for her to concentrate on homework and studying for long periods of time which led her to try to destroy any distractions that could affect her goals; making friends wasn’t an option.

After graduating from Hogwarts, basically unperceived, Lysa spent a few years helping her father with odd jobs. Needless to say, she’s quite adept with a hammer and a saw. In that time span she picked up the hobby of wood working, earning herself a few extra galleons selling her wooden magical creatures. An attempt to charm a particularly adorable blast-ended skrewt model cost her half of right pinky finger. The Healers were unable to re-grow the lost bone.

In a sudden turn of events, an accident at the construction site where her father was working left the man incapacitated. Her sisters, too busy wrapped up in their own personal (I.e. romantic) life, left Lysander with the sole responsibility for tending after her parents. Interest spurted by her own life experience of tending after her sick father, Lysa took it upon herself to become a Healer in hopes of sustaining her parents and relieve their economical worries in the long run. It was, after all, the very least she could do for the people who brought her to this world.

Even if they still mention every once in a while that story about how she was supposed to be a boy.

Personality: Although she wouldn’t consider herself a sociopath, Lysander prefers to keep relations strictly business. If there is nothing of grave importance to discuss it is best not to speak at all. Mindless chit chat about the passing grey cloud, or how heavily congested the floo network was this morning are things of neither interest or benefit to her person.

She tries very hard to be neat and organized but fails greatly and is often found mumbling about her lost quill when all the time, it is trapped somewhere inside her curly dark hair.

Likes: The color green, silver ornaments, feathers, wood, cheese puffs (artificial coloring and all), and wizard wrock.

Dislikes: Fur, blinking lights, squeaky shoes and touchy individuals.

History: Lara is from a Pureblood (or a pure as anyone’s blood is) family, an only child and as such never knew what it was not stand out and be the best. She spent the better part of her childhood in the water, swimming and diving into whatever body of water she could get at without getting told off. She always knew about magic, so she didn’t even bat an eyelash when she received a letter inviting her to Hogwarts. She didn’t blink when she was sorted into Slytherin. It’s what she wanted and so far, Lara had always gotten what she had wanted. The first surprise of her life came at 11 when she realised there were LOTS of students at Hogwarts and she had to actually try to be the very best. The second surprise came when she was 15; her father died due to a faulty cauldron having exploded, taking his head clean off. This is when Lara doubled her efforts and focused on a career in Healing.

Personality: Lara is aggressive and competitive. She knows HOW to play political but she doesn’t care for it. She’d rather just crush the competition by proving that she’s better than everyone. She cares about healing, but if you aren’t her patient, or her boss, she probably isn’t interested in what you have to say…. Unless she can use it against you.

She has the capacity to make friends, but friends are friends and competition is competition and that’s something people need to understand. It’s not personal. It’s her career and she takes it seriously.

It’s quite possible that Lara has no sense of humour at all, at least work related. She might loosen up as time goes on but so far she is so nervous nothing is funny. But if you accuse her of being nervous, she’ll deny it.

Interests: Lara is not a Quidditch fan. She thinks that’s how half of the wards get filled. Broom crashes, bludger hits. Stupid people. History: Born believing herself to be a muggle (although, not exactly using that particular term), Natalee Otzenberg lived a normal...or, well, actually semi-normal...childhood...up until the age of twelve. She'd been portraying Brigetta von Trapp in a New York City production of "The Sound of Music" when her semi-normal life suddenly decided to take quite an unusual turn. That was the year she, like most magical children born too late to attend Hogwarts at age 11, received her acceptance letter into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At first she and her father believed the letter to be a joke, and her father, being the polite person he was, responded to the school with a "Thank you, but no, thank you" letter. All the while, Natalee's mother kept quiet, neither accepting nor denying the letter that had arrived for her daughter.

All seemed "swept under the rug" until one night, two weeks before the final curtain call of "The Sound of Music," Natalee accidentally caused the "absurd little bird" in Act II to come alive and fly far, far away from the cuckoo clock it'd sprung from. The crowd, it should be noted, rose to their feet and applauded the spectacular stage effects they believed to be intentional. It was on that night Natalee found out that her mother was a real, true non-theatrical witch. Her father, it turns out, had known of this all along but had gone along with Natalee's mother's plan of trying to give their daughter a so-called regular childhood. That was also the night Natalee and her parents packed a trunk full of odd items, such as a cauldron, a set of dress robes, and a wand, and two months into the Hogwarts school year, Natalee Otzenberg finally began her Hogwarts career. She was taken into a large office on the second floor of the school and was sorted into Ravenclaw house via a magical hat placed upon her head.

The rest, as they say, is history...

Family: Natalee, an only child, is the daughter of Noah Paul Otzenberg, a muggle, and Andromeda Jane Carina-Otzenberg, a witch. The family of three relocated to London, England the summer after Natalee's first year at Hogwarts.

Only time will tell. Her tendency to put one hundred percent into what she has set her mind to has also given her somewhat of a 'workaholic' label. Natalee mother constantly tries to encourage her to get out and enjoy life a bit more and to find a healthy balance between working and enjoying life. She also has a tendency to consume entirely too much coffee, and quite frequency longs for the White Chocolate Mochas she used to drink when living in New York City.

Never one to meet a stranger, Natalee is a very outgoing, friendly person. She can't remember ever having been shy in meeting a new person or in speaking out in public. She hopes to meet a wide variety of fellow interns when she starts training at St. Mungo's. When she's not comsumed in her work or knee-deep in research, Natalee is a very pleasant, enjoyable person to talk to.

History: Paul lived a normal, pureblood wizard life up until the age of 18, when he graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Rather than follow the advice of his best friend, Ben Cobblesten, and stay close to home, he moved out to Germany and took a job in Wizarding Foreign Relations there. While living in Germany, he met his soon-to-be-former wife, Gabriela Schmit. They were soon married and had a daughter named Lucille.

However, just a few weeks after Lucy was born, Gabriela left without a single word, leaving him to raise Lucy alone. Once Lucy got older, he decided it was time to move back to England so that she could attend Hogwarts and get a proper education, just like he had.

As soon as he got back, Ben offered up the home of his sister, Beth Newell, for Lucy and Paul to stay in as Paul tried to find another job and a new house. However, this was proving a lot more difficult than he had thought it would be--despite Ben's best efforts to put in a good word for him around the Ministry, no one was willing to hire Paul, and all of his training seemed to have gone to waste. Deciding that desperate measures were needed, Paul decided that he couldn't sit around waiting for a job to come to him and settled on making a career change. Determined to provide a better life for his 13 year old daughter, he figured a career in medicine would be the best route to go and quickly started his training.

Family: Divorced, with a 13 year old daughter, Lucy.

Appearance: Roughly around 6 ft tall, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Personality: Usually shy when it comes to new people, Paul warms up to strangers eventually and quickly becomes the class clown once he is comfortable. The only exception to this, of course, is meeting new women--Paul has no trouble being outgoing and friendly around them. After his failed marriage with Grabriela, he's been very reluctant to have a long term relationship with anyone, earning him many slaps in the face throughout the years.

Interests: Quite the Quidditch fanatic, he played Chaser all 7 years of school for Gryffindor. He now supports the Tornadoes, and when he isn't bugging his daughter to try out for the Gryffie team once again, he practices the muggle sport of tennis with Ben.

Mother: Iona Manelesi-MacMillan
Grandfather: Sanusi Londisizwe Ngdaktari Manelesi

The family name is Manelesi, but in an unusual twist Londisizwe (Londi) took his wife's name for his son as a hyphenate out of respect to her parents who are extremely proud of their heritage and blood status and refused to let their only daughter marry unless the family name was carried on through her. His umkhulu (Grandfather), Sanusi Londisizwe Ngdaktari Manelesi is a respected healer and chief of staff at St. Marciana's Spell Damage (Critical Care) Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. His father is a private-practice healer and visiting professor, and it is through these men that Ngdaktari got his passion for the healing arts.

APPEARANCE:
Ngdaktari is a tall, good looking man of Zulu (Bantu) and Scottish descent. He values family, health and fitness, and makes a point of taking excellent care of his health and physique. He keeps his hair short though on occassion is known to charm one small portion of his hair to grow into a thin, long braid at the side of his head which he does for ceremonial/religous reasons, mostly to please his Umkhulu.


PERSONALITY:

Ngdaktari's a man with a foot in two provinces. He is something of a dichotomy; he fancies British culture but his tribal culture also has a strong place in his heart. He is lighthearted, yet he is very serious about his studies and his career. He is concerned with honor and loyalty, but at the same time he has a weakness for tomfoolery and practical jokes, and can often be found goofing around or being sneaky if he thinks he can get away with something. He is fiercely competitive and hate hate hate HATES to lose, but he doesn't value whatever it is that he wins- once he has achieved a goal he no longer finds the goal worthy of his time. He openly mocks those from Slytherin house and loves his school House but deep down wonders if he was a mis-sorted "Slytherpuff" as he shares the ambition and drive of the house, as well as a need to win at all costs.

Mac is very smart but sometimes it seems like he stepped out of queue when they were handing out common sense and sometimes forgets to be responsible. He is fluent in three languages (English, Afrikaans, Zulu) and speaks a smattering of German and French and gobbledegook. He knows he is good looking and uses it to his advantage. He is family oriented but nonetheless remains a confirmed bachelor, he plays the field and is almost always going out with someone new; the lady who wants to win his heart and keep it is going to have to be amazing. (An avid fan of quidditch, he likes to joke that he is a chaser who has yet to find a keeper.) He adores his mother and family, and one day hopes to have a wife and children. He is stubborn, though not thoroughly unreasonable. True to his Taurean sign he is also very earthy deep down and enjoys simple pleasures- good food, good work, good company.

Evangeline is the only child of Robert Edmundus Green, a pureblood wizard and Elizabeth Rose Leatherby Green, a muggleborn witch. Since her Father came from a very strict pureblood family that never really accepted Robert's marriage, Evangeline hardly ever had contact with that side of the family. At least when her Grandfather, Rufus Maximilian Green. Nearer to his last years, his mental health started failing, until he attempted to kill her in a broomstick accident. He is still her biggest fear, despite the fact he passed away at the end of her first year at Hogwarts.

She was born prematurely which combined with her broomstick accident at the age of 8, turned her Father into a rather protective one. It took a lot of persuasion from her Mother for him not to send her to Beauxbatons when she turned eleven, since her Aunt (who teaches there) would look after her. Elizabeth, though, couldn't stand being that far away from Evangeline - it was comforting to her knowing her daughter would remain in Britain.

Therefore, all her education was done in Hogwarts. Except for her 4th year which was spent at Belle's School of Magic for Young Witches. She was, proudly, sorted into Slytherin House and became Prefect in her 5th year. Being the perfectionist she was, Evangeline was always one of the top students of the school, finally graduating with outstanding NEWTs.

Being the daughter of a Healer, Evangeline has always dreamt of following her Mother's footsteps and upon graduating from Hogwarts, she decided she wanted to integrate the St. Mungos Healer training programme. And now here she is.

Although still living with her parents in a little, calm village in Surrey, most of her time is spent at her boyfriend's flat in London, much to her Father's dismay.

Personality:

A bookworm that'll defend her books no matter what, a know it all that hates being wrong and not knowing things, a girl that likes to pretend she has no flaws to hide her insecurity. She's stubborn, opinionated, grumpy when things don't go as she wants them to, with very good morals. She's very helpful, although she has always trying - and most of the times failed - to appear to be meaner. No matter what she says, cute things can make her heart melt.

Appearance:

For being a premature baby, Evangeline was always on the petite and skinny side, though during her teenage years she grew quite alot, being now rather tall.. Her skin is incredibly pale, marble like and it's covered in freckles (she has a copious amount of freckles in her arms), adding to her fragile aspect. Her eyes are the most prominent aspect of her face, her favourite thing about her appearance. They're definitely the first thing you notice when you look at her.

History Vanessa is the middle child of Lucie and Maxxie Corbette, and has an older brother, Aaron Corbette, and two younger twin sisters, Hollie and Cloe Corbette. The first 5 years of her childhood went past, without a bad moment, unless you count her sisters being born. But shortly after her fifth birthday, devastation, and tragedy hit the family, as he father suffered a heart attack and died, leaving behind two daughters who wouldn’t remember him, and two other scared children.
Vannie, as she was called as a child moved on, and aged 11 she attended Hogwarts school for Witch Craft and Wizardry, getting sorted into Hufflepuff House. Vannie was quite happy about this, and she quickly got used to life at Hogwarts.
In her third year she met Miles Parker, who in the future she would come to be extremely close to. The pair seemed to get along very well, and soon they got together, not knowing what difficulties that would lie ahead for them.
Throughout her fourth, fifth and sixth year she was on the house quidditch team, as a chaser, and reserve player. She played in two championship games, and got to experience the thrill of flying, even though she was terrified of heights. Her experience on the quidditch team, allowed Vanessa to get on well with her fellow housemates.
After graduation, she moved out of her mother’s house, and started living together in a London apartment with Miles Parker, her boyfriend of 4 years. During the process of moving down to the London, Vannie decided that she wanted to be a healer, at St Mungos, and thus she enrolled for the Intern Program.

Appearance: Vanessa has always been a small and girl, and she know stands at a height of 5 foot 2 Inches. She has long brunette hair, which flows to the middle of her back, and her eyes are a dark shade of green.

Personality: Vanessa is fun and caring girl, who always puts other before herself. Although she seems to be a very nice girl, she can be very vicious, especially when it comes to her loved ones. She will stand up to anyone who is trying to bully her, but is not very good when it comes to crowds. She can seem very shy at first, but is very talkative when people get to know her.

Personality: Robert Bunbury, or Robbie, as his family has always called him, is an easygoing, laid-back kind of guy. From birth, he’s been the exact opposite of his high-strung sister as he seldom loses his temper and tends to avoid arguments or confrontations at all cost. Unless, of course, you turn out to be wrong in the end…only then will Robbie waste no time in saying, “I told you so.”

Robbie’s usually pretty eager to follow directions although he’s not-so-strict about deadlines and showing up on time for work…events…dates…etc. He doesn’t care much about his naturally handsome outer appearance because he really believes that true beauty is what counts on the inside. Unfortunately, his superiors usually take that lackadaisical attitude to mean he’s “lazy.” And that’s not entirely true…he just likes to work at his own pace and enjoy life at a ho-hum pace. Nothing wrong with that.

History: Like his rather infamous sister, Robert was born from a long line of Slytherpuffs and raised by a former Potions Professor father and a Healer mother. His family has always had a penchant for plants and potions and they all used to travel each summer to a different exotic location simply to study the native plants and animals living there. Robbie loves the outdoors and all sorts of animals (the more dangerous, the better) and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty in any sense. He has absolutely no sense of style and doesn’t even attempt to match his socks, much less his belt, to his shoes or any of that nonsense.

After graduating from Hogwarts with excellent marks in three subjects and rather little effort in the rest of his classes, Robbie travelled extensively with his sister and eventually wound up on a tangent, studying plants and acromantulas, in the rainforests of Borneo. He had a close call with one such giant spider and ended up losing a close coworker to the same beast; after that, he knew it was time to come back to England.

He enrolled in Healer School after seeing his sister fail out - just to prove to her that he could do something she couldn’t - and is still determined to prove his point. Robbie can be shy when you first meet him but start talking about bugs or spiders or food or Quidditch and he’ll light right up. He used to play Beater on the Slytherin House Team and enjoyed knocking his sibling off her broom on a regular basis. He firmly believes in equality for all but always seems to fumble over his words and blush a lot when talking to a pretty woman - especially if she can make him laugh.

History: Born in Egypt, Lacey spent much of her time visiting the museums around the city, immersing herself in the rich history of the country; as well as participating on trips with her mother and father, both of whom were archaeologists.

Upon turning 11, she, like many children around the world, received a piece of parchment, upon which was written, an invitation to attend a prestigious wizarding academy. And, as with many Muggleborns, Lacey and her parents were immediately baffled by such news. They dismissed it as a prank.

Approximately three weeks passed when another letter arrived, this one holding a picture of a bearded man who began to speak, explaining the reasons behind the letter. Once the initial shock of witnessing such a phenomenon had faded, Lacey and her parents talked it over and it was decided that Lacey could attend the school.

Upon graduating, Lacey took hold of her Egyptian roots and began to work as a curse-breaker, though she wasn't entirely keen on the occupation. Years passed and with it came her mother's failing health. Lacey stayed by her mother's side, abandoning her job for the time being. Unfortunately, the illness was severe, and it was not long before her mother passed. These times, however, led to the observation that Lacey would like to try her hand at healing, especially after seeing the care that her mother received.

Approximately six months after this, she moved to England to attend the Healer program at St. Mungo's.

Personality: Lacey is a quick learner, always willing to obtain new information on a variety of subjects, though she does remain fairly quiet when interacting with a group.. She prefers to observe, at least in the first few times upon meeting new people. Some take her unwillingness to speak as being snobbish, but she's far from it. Be patient and you'll find a great friend in Lacey.

Background:
Dillon was supposed to be born a boy and so her parent's prenamed her and when she popped out they didn't bother to change the name on the birth certificate. She was born baby number 4 after 3 boys and she is the only girl. She grew up on Dallas, TX.

In her house the law was the law. Both of her parents are muggles and her mother is a judge on the Texas State Supreme court and her father is defense attorney. It was not uncommon to walk into the Darrows' dining room and hear the family arguing over law. Her home was always a happy place, even with her parents working so much. They started their families later in life than most people so that they could be with their children. Her room was the apartment over the garage as she was the only girl and she didn't want to share her bathroom with her disgusting brothers. Dillon and her brothers all got their letters to the Xavier Magical School for the Gifted in D.C. Her mother and father was shocked speechless when they got the letters for their children to go to a magical school. They were pleased as punch when they got into the magical world. They are the first family in recorded history to have muggle parents and all the the children are wizards.

Her two older brothers are judges on the Wizengamot at the United States Ministry of Magic and her youngest brother is the flamboyant owner of Hair Magic, a line of hair care products for African American witches and wizards.

Dillon was always an outgoing child and she quickly became the bell of the ball at school. She was the president of the potioneers club and the editor of the Creature Feature newsletter. She always knew she wanted to work with animals and or medicine. At school she spent most of her spare time with the nurse learning everything she could. Or she was outside helping with the magical creatures. Her marks in school could have been better if she spent more time on her studies but she would rather be knee deep in hippogriff dung or fixing the broken bones of her fellow students

When she was done with school she went to Duke Medical School, thinking she wanted to go into muggle medicine, but she found that she didn't want to work in the muggle world. She didn't like leaving her wand at home and then driving on the Dallas highways in bumper to bumper traffic drove her crazy. So she left the medical school and became an nurse with the Healers without Borders program and went to work in Colombia.

She sent letters out to ever premier magical hospital in the world and finally got her letter from St. Mungos in the UK. She was excited and with her parents' blessing went off to London.


Personality:
Dillon is energetic all the time. She drinks way too much coffee and eats way too much chocolate. But when she crashes, please wake her up before she sleeps walk down a flight of stairs. She is an outdoorsy kinda of girl and she is a total adrenaline junkie. She participates in extreme muggle sports all the time. Taking home a bronze medal in the Summer x-Games in street luging.

She lives and breathes medicine. Its all shes ever wanted to do. It is the only thing that keeps her focused and grounded. Otherwise she would be in the clouds all day long. All of her family, including her dad (her mom’s a muggle) were in Slytherin. She was the first in her family to be a Ravenclaw, and for that she was glad. She wanted to get away from the expectations her brothers had left her at Hogwarts. And, thankfully, she did. No one ever mentioned her brothers around her if they didn’t want to be hexed.

Jared was brought to a muggle orphanage in London when he was a few hours old. The man who brought him claimed to be Jared’s father. He said his wife had died in childbirth. The man also claimed he could not take care of his son on his own and did not have any relatives who were willing to take the child. Before the matron on duty could get any information on the baby, the man was gone. April 1, 2038 is the date that Jared was left at the orphanage. The head matron also named the baby. Jared did not display any of his magical abilities as a young child. He did not have a clue that he was a wizard until the headmaster came from Hogwarts with his letter of acceptance. He explained everything to Jared. He had hoped that Hogwarts might have some information about his family background even his parent’s names. Jared was disappointed to find out the only name they had was Jared Andrew Armstrong-Smythe. The name the head matron had given him.

Jared found a home at Hogwarts. He excelled at all his studies being particularly good at Charms, Potions, and DADA. Jared played on the Hufflepuff Quid ditch team, and aced his OWLS and NEWTS. His advisor encouraged Jared to pursue a career as an auror or a Hogwarts professor, but he was not interested in anymore schooling. Jared wanted to see the world before he settled into a career. He took a year off to travel. Jared supported himself with odd jobs. Jared sold flying carpets in the Middle East, worked in an apothecary in Canada, and did a stint as a cowboy in the United States. His final odd job was working with Antipodean Opaleye dragons in Australia. Jared loved working with the dragons and thought he had found his career. Jared moved to the Romanian Reservation and went to work learning about dragons. While training at the reserve, Jared spent more time in the Infirmary than he did with the dragons. Jared started dating the local healer. The relationship didn’t work out, but Jared had found his true calling in life.

Background: Grew up in New York City before his Dad took him to live in London at the age of 14. He transferred into Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin house the moment the hat hit his head. Teachers didn’t take a liking to him, and most students didn’t either. They all thought he was mean, rude, and mostly unpleasant. He likes to joke around, but all in the wrong kind of humor. He had a group of cronies friends that he has kept in touch with, but most of them went the bad route after graduation.

After Hogwarts, Bruce led a boring/low life as an accountant at Gringotts. He had the credentials to apply for an internship at St. Mungo's but couldn’t be bothered to but in that amount of work. At 28, Bruce finally realized that he IS indeed wasting away his life. After the necessary schooling and test scores accomplished, he starts his first day of work… ready to torture those around him give it the good old 1,2.

Personality:
He is unnecessary, rude, and difficult to truly befriend. He does have a funny, dry sense of humor that makes him bearable, but most people won’t be able to take him in large doses. It has been rumored that he is incapable of love, but that is false. Those emotions are buried rather deep, so finding them will take time.

He likes to get the job done, if if something isn’t going right he’ll try and be the first one to fix it. The only thing bringing him through this program is his sheer determination, because he isn’t the smartest person alive… grades wise. Ambition and perseverance are what define Mr. Bruce… so please for your own good, stay out of his way.

Personality: Cathy loves people, and is an absolutely HUGE people pleaser. She is made up of sugar, spice and everything nice. Her favorite thing to do is bake cookies and feed them to people. If you can avoid talking to her, it would probably be best. She’ll suck anyone she can into hours worth of completely pointless conversation. If you’re rude or mean to her, she will be completely oblivious to it. She’s rather dumb to be honest, but at least it doesn’t take a high IQ to welcome people and work an intercom system.

Eliza is the middle child of her five brothers and sisters, which is why she is such a chatterbox having to compete with her siblings to be heard. She is a very outgoing young woman with an extremely bubbly personality and talks non stop about anything and everything. She is extremely compassionate towards others and has a very strong maternal instinct in that she wants to look after everyone.

Her whole family are witches and wizards and she grew up in the town of Cornwall. Her father is currently working at the Ministry of Magic in the Magical Transportation Department and her mother is a stay home mother and housewife. She has two older brothers and one younger and one older sister and two younger ones. Her siblings can be found at either Hogwarts or somewhere around the world carrying on with their jobs.

Eliza attended Hogwarts and graduated after her seventh year, where she was a very proud Ravenclaw. She decided to take a sabatical for a couple of years and travelled the world before deciding it was time to settle down and go into the profession of Healer, the only job she has ever wanted to do.

Build: Fairly average stature, though he makes a point of being more cut than his younger brothers. Can't let them forget who's top dog after all
Heritage: Pureblood. Though he's quick to point out that there is possibly Veela blood in their family which technically would make them halfbreeds. They aren't and there isn't, but it's his usual argument when any of his family get too high and mighty about blood status.

School achievements: Prefect from his 5th and 6th years, Played Beater and Chaser for his house Quidditch team and was Head boy in his final term (2060/2061)

Background:
Eldest of five children (*announcer voice* You might remember the two youngest Toussaint siblings from such RPs as Term 19, 20 and 21, in the school RPG*) Keiran is an overachiever, not because he aims to be, but because it just happens. He'd never be the first to put his hand up and bust a muscle trying to stretch the highest in his eagerness to show how awesome he is, rather he'd always just sit there knowing the right answer and sharing it if he happened to be bothered about it.

Growing up as the eldest, the heir of (in his opinion) ridiculously and unnecessarily pureblood fanatical family, Keiran ignored the expectations heaped on his shoulders and succeeded anyway. After graduating from Durmstrang, he studied magical law and got a job in the french ministry as a liason between large multi-national corporations (such as certain family businesses) as well as advising high paying clients in sensitive legal matters. He couldn't cut off his family ties completely though, and found himself acting as a spy. Probably the most legitimate and unlikely spy that you'd ever meet. There is nothing at all tying him to unsavoury pursuits, and Keiran prefers it that way.

And now? Moving to England, partly on a whim, Keiran decided a change of pace would be worthwhile. That and the fact that his fiancee thinks that 'you'd have to be an idiot to want to be a healer' clinched it for him. He was here for the wrong reasons, but he'd stay for the right ones. (ZOMG, imagine that being said by the movie voice. *CHHEEEEESE*)

Personality:
He likes people. Indescriminately. And he doesn't much mind if someone doesn't like him because there are plenty of people that do. He doesn't take offence and he tends to laugh mistakes off in public while in private he'll do everything he can to ensure that it doesn't happen again. He's tough and never backs down from a fight, though he has the ability to talk his way out of it most of the time. He is certainly a people person, a good bedside manner with a coat of professionalism to boot.

Had he been a Hogwarts student, he probably would have been a Cedric-Diggory-Like Hufflepuff.

He's confident, but also fairly empathetic, which is all the more interesting because he's an occulmens and quite able to keep his own feelings contained. He can sing and he can dance but he doesn't do either. Same with cooking, he is a great cook but doesn't cook often since he likes to eat and be fed more than anything else. He has two house-elves (Bambou and Perkin) and in general is pro-creature rights. He's only 5'9 but there is something about him that seems taller, perhaps the way he carries himself, for he certainly exudes a natural charm and a don't-mess-with-me vibe.

Trelly and I chatted about this, and we kind of figured that by the time you enter your internship phase, you've already chosen a speciality. They aren't totally new, having had some schooling, but new to the work field. The interns can change if they find they don't fit where they are currently, but they've chosen their field of choice otherwise.

If your intern went to Hogwarts, remember that we are working with the current RPG canon (so you'll have to consider who was prefect/Quidditch player if you say that your character is). Going to Hogwarts isn't an issue, because we can always assume unnamed students graduated each year.

Note 2: I would read the other bios and see if there is any overlap with your character. For example, did you attend school together? Work at a past job together? This gives you a history with another character, and you could work out with that person how you already know each other and if you have a previous friendship/rivalry. These are fun additions!

Note 3: If during the course of the RP, you mention someone's name that isn't being played by someone, we'll probably grab it and store it in the first post so that everyone references the same unplayed person. Remember also that you can grab and name a secondary character that you play only occasionally. This makes so much sense in my head... poke me if it doesn't to you.

Background: Stella Wojack was always destined to be a Healer. Her father, a Polish immigrant to the UK, owned his own private practice as a Healer to the wealthy purebloods, while her mother was a well-known midwife. In fact, on Stella's maternal side, the midwife tradition is very strong, even before her mother received her Hogwarts letter. As a little girl, Papa Wojack let Stella attend patients with him, and she knew from an early age she wanted to join him in his practice.

Although Sebastjan Wojack acknowledged that Hogwarts was a very fine school, he preferred to send his oldest child to his own alma mater. Stella attended Durmstrang from 2059-2066. She was prefect, with very fine grades, and a founding member of the Potioneers Society (although she was removed from office her sixth year after trading words with the Potions Professor who apparently didn't know a well constructed cauldron from a hole in his own anatomy).

In spite of strong grades and an impressive enough CV for her age, Stella couldn't swing the necessary professor recommendations to get into the Healer intern program right out of school. She had somehow managed to offend just enough of the staff to require her to seek recommendations elsewhere. Her first job was at the Polish Ministry, where she got promoted and shifted around quite often. People loved her, and wanted nothing to do with her, and her final boss promised her a glowing recommendation if she never returned to civil service again.

Personality: Stella Anne Wojack presents a chipper and enthusiastic attitude to everything around her, although she has a nagging tendency to take challenges personally. Being an only child makes Stella accostomed to having her own way, which can bring out the stubborn side. On her worst days, one can accuse Stella of being spoiled because of her natural assumption that things will work out in the way she desires.

Most people who encounter Stella find themselves liking her... until her one big failing becomes apparent. Stella cannot shut her mouth to save her life. If she thinks it, she must say it, and she can't see any possible consequences of speaking her mind until the words have already left her mouth. And worst of all, once the words start, they're hard to start. She is a chatterbox of the worst sort.

Background: Kesi's parents were missionaries in Africa. She was born, raised, and educated there in the mission field. She was brought up around muggles and wizards. She was homeschooled for the most part, though she did attend several different muggle and magic schools in Africa. She played chaser on the intramural quidditch team and would probably have been good enough to play professionally if she'd had the chance and inclination. She is also quite the poker player.

Kesi wasn't entirely certain what she wanted to do once she came of age so took bothnewts and exams for entrance into muggle university. In fact, she did attend a muggle university in Cairo for several terms before participating in a study abroad program where she fell in love with London and made some friends in Diagon Alley. Instead of continuing to pursue a degree in muggle science, she applied to the internship program at St. Mungo's. She was accepted and hopes to revolutionize the healing world with her ideas for wizarding medicine.

Personality: Kesi may seem quiet and reserved at first, but she's also a loyal friend and isn't afraid to speak her mind if she feels very strongly about something. She is very intelligent and driven. She's kind and patient and should have a wonderful bedside manner. However, she likes to experiment and it remains to be seen whether this penchant will be to the benefit or detriment of her career.

Family: His parents had him very young and so he has always been very close to both of them. His father, Admiral (his name, not his title) Proudmoore served in the Ministry in the Law Enforcement Department until he invented and patented a defense tactic which was sold to the Ministry for enough galleons to keep their family comfortable for several generations. Austin has always been considered the 'big brother' of the family, being the eldest of three children (and also, conveniently enough, being a boy). Despite being the quieter of the three, he has had continuous amounts of pressure to set an example for his disasterously infuriating delightful younger siblings. His mother made a small fortune selling pewter cauldrons to Wizarding peasants in America, before settling down as a housewife after concieving her third child. Alexander holds a steady job at the Ministry.

History: Born in the busy city of Madison, Wisconsin, it seemed as though Austin would live a perfect, high class life out in the United States of America. When, however, he turned eleven, he recieved a letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry - ("oh my! He's actually been accepted!") - and the family immediately moved to London, England. This proved a sensible move, when two more children were born and later accepted to the school also. Austin, always being a clever, yet 'suffer in silence', type boy, was sorted into Gryffindor (but not before a pondering from the hat about whether or not he'd be good in Slytherin).

After graduating with pleasing grades, Austin saught to return to America, where he wished to research magical American creatures. This plan fell through, when his mother fell ill, and so he stayed in England and applied for a job at St Mungo's.

Personality: As previously stated, Austin is a 'suffer in silence' kind of person. He distinctly hates being in the spotlight, despite his desperate strive for success. Unlike his younger sisters, he can be strainingly shy in front of new people, until the wilder side of him in unleashed. Blessed with good looks, he tends to be the man who women fawn after, even when he stares at them with fear in his eyes. Yes, it's true - Austin is sincerely NOT a ladies man. At all. No sir! When attempting to talk to a girl, he usually begins to waffle, which brings out his strong accent and ends in an epic fail *headdesk*

All blips aside, Austin inherited his mother's romanticism, and has turned out (when with the right person) to be quite the charmer. Sadly, due to his inability to flirt, this charm is usually used on his mother's friends, or old relatives. Sigh. At a first glance, you would not expect his shy personality. His devilishly innocent grin seeps with a loud personality, but his trembling fingers and scarlet blush do not follow through.

So please, although he is the mysteriously gorgeous man in the corner, please refrain from flirting. It always ends in tears (usually Austin's).

And bear in mind that he is Mr Sit In The Corner With One Eyebrow Raised Looking Mean and Moody, Mr Loves Himself, Mr Don't Say a Lot Because I Am Gorgeous and Don't Have To, Mr Everybody Fancies Me and I Know It and especially Mr Ignorant Public Schoolboy Quiff Idiot. Yeah?

Likes: Anything teal *grabby hands*, pretty girls ("I like her, but how in the name of Merlin's striped undies do I talk to her?"), striped suits, silk ties, cups of coffee on a sunny afternoon, romance novels (shhhh!) and HOME ("Yes, AMERICA you dimwits, not this rubbishy place in London!").
