Alex looked at Reese with wide eyes. "You never heard of him, wow, I was jure you would've, he's pretty famous. He plays mostly pop music."

"Yeah, you'll have to, he is amazing. I haven't seen him since my mother's death, but I've been trying to keep up with him in the news. According to reports he's in America for a tour." Alex told her then turned to face her. "I'm still sorry about your brother, I know how much he meant to you."

"I really wouldn't know what that feels like." Alex said softly. "At least you got along with him, that he didn't go when you two were in the middle of an arguement." She said, hoping that might cheer her up a bit.

Reese smiled.She pulled out a small folded picture and handed it to Alex."This is a picture of my brother before he died."

Alex took the pic and looked at it, he was a cute guy in her opinion. "He two look a like." She said handing the pic back to Reese. "It's a shame he's gone."

Alex laughed, glad to hear Reese joking around again. "No not at all." She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

A rather intimadating looking long eared Asio Owl wooted as it decended its flight towards Alex and landed on the gate next to her, with a letter addressed to her attached. her named was Written in small slanted unmistakably boyish writting on the out side. ALEX

Alex looked up when she heard a hoot and saw a rather creey looking bird land on her gate. She looked at the note attached to his leg and noticed it was for her. She reached a shaky hand up to take the letter from him and opened to read it. Once she was finished she let out an excited squel, yes I know, she doesn't do that often, but she was happy. She looked at Reese, a huge grin on her face. "Looks like I'm heading to Portloe, the letter is from Talen, he got permission from his brother to let me stay for a while. Finally a chance to be away from my father!" She said excitedly. She took a muggle pen from her pocket and wrote a note back to Talen. She then reached up to tie the letter to the owl's leg, which she guessed was his owl Fallon and watched as the bird disappeared in the horizon. "Want to help me pack to leave?"

Alex hit Reese. "It's just Talen, he invited me to stay with him and his brother." She told her as they walked up the driveway. "I haven't heard from him for a while now, have you?" She said, lowering her voice and wondering how she was going to make it past her father.

"Really? You're a lifesavor Reese, and sorry about the arm." She said as she went to the side of the manor. "Okay, give me about ten minutes, then go to the back door and distract him so I can leave through the front. As for getting back in I'm just going to climb through my window again."

Alex climbed up the window and hurried around her room, she tried putting things in her suitcase, but there was just too much that she didn't want to leave behind, even if the visit was short. She instead took out her trunk and packed up her things in there again, including some of her muggle things like her photo album and skateboard L.J. had given her and even her uncles cds. Once everything was packed she sat down on her bed and waited to hear Reese at the back door.

Alex heard Reese knock on the back door and quickly jumped up off her bed and placed the hood of her robes back over her head as she made her way to her bedroom door.

Mr. Morgan jumped when he heard someone knock on the back door, who comes to the back door? He got up and went through the kitchen until he reached the door and opened it. He glared at the girl standing there, wasn't she there earlier? "I told you before I will not allow you to see Alexandra!"

Alex heard her father open the door and she snuck as quietly as she could out of her bedroom. She moved slowly down the stairs, not wanting to make her trunk bang against the stairs and give her away.

Mr. Morgan sglared daggers at the young girl. "Do you really think I care if you harmed her or not, a little pain to that girl is exactly what she deserves!" Mr. Morgan almost yelled at her.
Alex finally managed to get her trunk down the stairs, boy was it heavy. She stopped to hear her father yell at her 'sister' and she could feel tears wanting to come to her eyes. Why was he acting like this, why wasn't he there for her anymore, why couldn't her life have been what it was like before?

"Who are you to tell me how to treat my own daughter?!" He yelled at the girl. "It's none of you business how I treat that filthy half blood, she's lucky she even has a home!"

Alex had heard enough, she picked up the end of her trunk again and made her way to the front door. She opened the door slowly and stepped out into the free outdoors. She quickly and silently closed the door behind her, hoping Reese knew Alex was safely outside, thanks to her help of course.

Reese heard the door shut and knew Alex was outside,but wanted to finish her argument. "Don't call her an filthy half-blood!!!! And let me tell you something...She stopped,but knew she had to do it."Why did you kill your wife?"
