It is known around Hogwarts that if you owl your name to The Matchmaker, she will find you the perfect match. Little known is about The Matchmaker, whose anonymity made her even more popular around the school.
Setting ;
It's February and the season of love has just started. With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, Hogwarts is abuzz with romances left and right and clearly it's all thanks to The Matchmaker.
Plot&Characters ;
The plot mainly revolves around a group of five friends who are in their 7th year at Hogwarts. You can name your characters whatever you want and have them look however you want. But please stick with my character info, because it builds up the plot. It doesn't matter which house they're in & it's entirely up to you.
Character #1: [BOY] He's cynical and doesn't believe in all this match-making thing and defiantly not in love {doesn't believe in love that is}
Character #2[BOY] & #3[GIRL] A couple whose relationship is falling apart, but wouldn't admit it.
Character #4 [GIRL] A hopeless romantic.
Character #5[BOY] He's very good looking and knows it, thus making him very arrogant. He doesn't believe in relationships because he doesn't like being tied down to one girl.
{I really want him to fall for Character#4 because, well they're opposites & let's face it, opposites attract. BUT, IT IS ALL ENTIRELY UP TO YOU. }

Family: Mother- His mother went to Beauxbatons for school. She moved to England when she was 19, where she met Tal's father, who worked at St. Mungo's at the time. They got married after 3 years, and had Tallan. Father- When he went to Hogwarts, he was a Hufflepuff. He got a job at St. Mungos, but after working there for 5 years, he left for the Ministry of Magic. He now works in the Department of International Cooperation. Other- He has a younger sister, Ella, who's 10 years old. History: He grew up in the city, which he didn't like. He'd much rather be out in the open. He doesn't talk much to his parents, because every since Ella was born, she's been they're first priority. Since the summer he got his apparating license, he often apparated to a lake, or some sort of out-doorsy place, to be alone and think. Personality: Tal's outgoing, and he loves to have fun. He loves to be outside, and hates being cooped up on sunny days. Even if there's snow on the ground, he's outside. He likes to joke around, and he's a bit sarcastic at times. He likes to think of himself as a ladies-man, and flirts a lot. But if he can tell that there’s no chance of him being with a girl, he’ll lay off and just be friends; he’s not pushy.

- Build: Thin, but quite toned; she used to be a gymnast.
History: Gi was born an only child, but has two older step-siblings by her father's second wife. Both are unmagical and disapprove of Gi, as does her step-mother, and all three tend to avoid her. Because of this, she has a little trouble with abandonment. Her father, on the other extreme, is ecstatic to have a witch for a daughter. To his credit, he would be proud of her if she decided to wanted to be a manic, back-alley strangler, but he adores her all the same.
Personality: Gi is very soft-spoken and extremely dedicated to her studies. She's quite proud to be magical and does everything she can to live up to the honor of attending Hogwarts. She knows how to have fun, but her definition of fun varies from the typical teenager. She would much rather do some physical activity than stay in and goof off. Her gymnasts' muscles don't like to sit still for very long so, when she isn't studying, she can be found swimming in the lake or tumbling nearby it.

History
Rania grew up on Spinner's End in a very tiny town home. Her wizarding father, Korin works as a specialties Broom Builder but business for the last decade has been slow. Rania's mother Salacia is a muggle and has worked in Veternarian Hospitals for all her life. Because Korin's business is tragically slow, Salacia's income is the only income, and is very little. Rania during the summers has worked with Training Magical Creatures for the ministry to help pay for school. She trains them for tracking down dark magic and cursed wizards, etc.
Personality
Rania is humble and a bit on the ...er... poor side, but gets along just as well. She's outgoing but firm to befriend those with money. She is the head Soprano of the Choir and the founder of the Hogwarts Theater for young Witches and Wizards. Her life long dream is to become a world-wide author and perform in Muggle Plays. Although her aspirations seem mellow, she is nothing less then energetic. She never passes an opportunity to fool around in the halls at night and prank her favorite Slytherins. =]

Personality: Loves having fun and just talking about anything. Very serious when the time is needed. He is also extremly shy when it comes to meeting new people. He likes talking with anyone though. Love is a lie to him. It doesn't exsist in the world and could care less for people who say their 'in love'.
History: His history is fairly boring. He lives a normal life with his mother, but his mother wishes he was never born, so he spends his days in his room, or outside. His brother died a few years ago, which started the seperation between his parents, and his mothers and fathers hatred towards him.
Extra: He often sings to let out his feelings, and writes some songs in his spare time. Never goes anywhere without his hat.
