On the outskirts of London, set in Countryside with no other houses for miles around, is a large Manor Home. The Flamels have resided here since there last home burnt to the ground with Fiendfyre, taking Michelle (Smith) Flamel with it. It is a beautiful home, with five floors (one being basement), two wings, and a amazing thirty acres of rolling grounds. As you make your way up the sweeping drive lined by trees, you'll notice many different animals, both Magical and Non-Magical.

As you approach the Manor, you knock on the Oaken door with the large brass knock. It could be answered by a number of people, including Emma-Louise, Laura, their Grandfather Edmund, their mother Rachel, or an extremely well-dressed, well paid House-Elf.

On entering the Main Ground-Floor Lounge, your eyes are imediately drawn to is that a piece of WALL? a Family Tree, framed above the Mantle Piece. It is the only surviving relic of the original Flamel house, and is only part of a whole Family-Tree-Wall.

Jenkins apparated with a pop into Emma's drive way. He really hoped she didn't mind the intrusion. Just with everything that was going on she could probably use a friend.

He gave a low whistle as he gazed at the hugeness of the place. Was it just him or did all of his friends seem to be rich??

Well he was rich to...kinda. Jenkins Z. Vaughn II was rich. But there was no way Jenkins was ever going to use any of that excuse of a man's money. Not now that he had a job.

Obviously his friends had no problem using there parents money because they sure didn't get money from there tiny Ministry salarys.

He took hold of the brass knocker and rapped it against the door a few times.

Hearing a knock which vibrated through the whole house, Emma paused her rumaging in the boxes. She was on the top floor of the house, in a room piled high with boxes that her mum wanted to take to America. How she was going to get it all there was beyond Emmas imagination.

Apparating downstairs seemed a better idea than trying to get through the mess, so thats what Emma did. She flung open the door, and beamed at Jenkins. "Wow, you found the place," she said, standing back to let him in.

An owl flew in with a package. It dropped the package in the middle of the room and flew away.

A little startled as an owl dropped a parcel in front of her, Rachel jumped. She was definately ready to go back to the muggle world, no matter how her daughters begged her to stay. Not that they did, but the thought was nice.

Sighing, she placed the book down beside her on the sofa and got up, quite hesitantly. It wasn't like the package was for her, but Rachel decided to see what it was anyway. However, do to noting but a note attached, Rachel felt a little scared. You never knew what to expect with wizards.

"Emma, can you come here please?" she called.

Hearing a voice from the living room, Emma sighed. Her mum would want her help with something or other. Rolling her eyes, Emma entered ther room with a slight impatience. "What is it?" she asked. Spotting the parcel her mother was looking a, Emma was instantly curious. "I wonder what it is," she mused aloud, reading the card on top with a puzzled expression.

"Erm, Jenkins?" Emma called. "What do you make of this?" Holiding up the object, Emma had opened the parcel to reveal a jar of Peanut Butter! Who'd send someone Peanut Butter? It wasn't even as if she liked the stuff.

Jenkins stepped into her house, no mansion. "Nice place," he commented.

He walked in to see Emma holding...somthing, probably of Muggle origin. "No idea," he said.

Bella walked to the Oak door of the huge Manor. she was equally impressed by the manor as she was impressed by the Weasley's Palace...she knocked the brass knocker "knock,knock" and she waited for the door to be opened.
she didnt know who to expect at the door. she just came by to surprise her friend Laura. "i should have let her know beforehand instead of just coming up on her door," she thought but she argued with herself "but all i want to do is give her a surprise that is it,"
she shook her head took her deep breath and waited for the door to be opened.

Scowling as Jenkins commented the Manor, Emma looked around. So, from an outsiders point it was nice, but she didn't like it. "I guess you get used to it," Emma sighed, giving it another sweeping glance. "But you can't tell me you really like it, it's too big!" She smiled at Jenkins, and stared down at the Peanut Butter.

"Well, I know for sure what it is, but who would want to send me such a thing? Its not even as if I like it!" She laughed, and handed it back to her mother. "Go and put that in the kitchen, will you?" She asked politely. "I want to do some tests on it later, and then I'll help you finish packing."

Shaking her head at the strangeness of Wizards, Rachel took the Peanut Butter from Emma and made her way to the kitchen, across the hall. Pausing in the doorway, she leant back, struck by a sudden thought.

"Do you know about Laura yet?" Rachel asked Emma, and as if called by fate, Laura appeared at the bottom of the stairs.

"What about me?" Laura asked, with a curious look on her face. "Ooh, is that Peanut Butter?" Suddenly distracted by the Muggle food, Laura sighed as it was raised out of her reach by her Mother. Upon realising what Rachel had been asking Emma, she sighed again and looked at her feet.

"I don't know yet." Lauras answer came out uncomfortably, and truthfully, and the young witch looked around the room, as if for some sort of distraction. Spotting Jenkins, she smiled and went over to him. "Herrloo!" Laura spouted joyfully. "I'm Laura, and I take it that you're one of Emma-Louise's friends, 'cuz you look to old to go to Hogwarts, and I don't know you...." Laura trailed off and blushed. She had a serious case of Foot-In-Mouth disease, and she realised she was being rude.

Jumping when she heard the door, Laura ran towards it, glad of the distraction. "I'll get it!" she called over her shoulder, even though it was obvious to the other people in the room. Throwing the door wide, Laura squealed when she saw who it was.

"Bella!" she cried, flinging a hug upon her friend. Standing back to let her friend in, Laura closed the door behind her with a slam.

Bella was nervously standing in front of the big oak door and then 'bam' the door opens and she is engulfed in a bear hug.
"hey Laura!" said Bella breathless herself and she stepped in. the manor was awesome
"Laura.you.live.here" she said looking at the vastness of the house, her eyes big and round."this is amazing," she continued still looking awestruck.

Smiling as Bella crossed the threashold and gasped, Laura dragged her into the middle of the hall. "Well, I like it," she said with a smirk. Dancing around Bella, Laura laughed. "You'll stay for a couple of days?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. Laura didn't want to push Bella into staying with her, but she'd have liked the company. And it would keep her mind off her decision.

Silently, and almost unseen, a ghost floated into the hallway and stood near the door to main Lounge.

"oh honestly who wouldnt like to stay here" said Bella "and about staying...i would like to stay.i asked my mum and she said it would be fine.but she wants me back before we leave for the new term." said Bella but she stopped as she saw a ghost float into the hallway.she went white...
"um...um...Laura wh...what is that?" she stuttered but then she remembered that she saw ghosts in Hogwarts too but some how this seemed a bit more spooky...she just shook her head and asked her
"you wouldnt have problem right?um...i mean your sister...she lives with you right?" she asked a bit hesitant

Abilee appeared with Jule, in front of the Flamel place, with a pop. She had to come along with Jule, just in case she was up to no good like always. But lately she had gotten worse. Not Jule was blunt and didn't care much for others feelings anymore.

"Now, I want you to behave and not break anything," she said to her. But when Abigail looked around, Jule wasn't there. "She must've ran off aready. Or not," she added when she looked on the floor.

Jule laid, face first, on the floor. She hated when her aunt apparated everywhere and took her along. She slowly got up and tried to keep her balance. But it was no use. Jule kept falling back down.

"If you keep apparating everywhere, I'm gonna end up in the core of this earth," she said as she finally managed to keep her balance. "I won't break anything either," she added as she walked to the front door and knocked. "I dunno why I can't get used to apparation with you. It sucks the energy out of me," she complained and leaned up against the wall.

Warrick had to drive to Emma's new place because of Gabby. Because of the fact that they're family now, he thought he might aswell go to offer a hand. He knocks on the door.

Laura grinned at Bella, clapped her hands once before noticing the bag that leant against Bellas foot. "I'm soo glad you can!" she cried, eyes glinting with mischeif as she danced around. Then, following Bellas gaze towards the far end of the hall, she rolled her eyes at the sight. "Thats just dad," she said in a low voice. "Don't worry, he's angry at me and Emma-Louise. She'll get rid of him." Lauras voice was a lot more confident than she felt. She didn't want to tell Bella, but things had been going missing all around the house...

"Death has not impared my hearing," the ghost grumbled, before retreating through a wall. He was angry. It was his family home, not his daughters, and they shouldn't prance aroun the place like they own it. His thoughts were grumbled, but he didn't want to be removed by Emma, not after last time. The ghost shuddered.

Hearing another knock at the door, Laura spun away from Bella and ran down the hall to answer it, rolling her eyes at the ghost as she past. Flinging the door open, she noticed four people standing there, only one of which she recognised. "Jule!" she cried, hugging her 'Partner in Crime', as Jule called them. "Glad you could make it!"

Laura broke away from the hug a turned towards the other three people on the door step. Two of them looked familliar, and Laura squinted, trying to remember who they were. She'd seen them on a picture, or something like that. Shaking her head, Laura stepped back and gestured that Jule and the others should come in.

"Hi," she said to the people she didn't recognise. "I'm Laura, and I'm guessing you're here for Emma." Sighing, Laura sucked in a deep breath, before opening her mouth and screaming. "EEEEEMMMMMMMMAAA! - LOOOUIISSSSEE!"

Jumping up at the sound of a scream coming from the hall, Emma poked her head around the doorframe of the Lounge and made her way towards the Entrance, hands covering her ears. "What was that all about?" she asked heatedly at Laura.

"People for you," Laura answered, micheivious eyes glinting. Dagging Jules hand, she pulled her deeper into the house, to where Bella was stood.

Sighing as Laura rushed of with her friends, Emma turned to the other people at the door. "Abigail," she smiled to the young witch she'd spoken to a couple of times. Then she noticed a car in the driveway and her brow frurred, not because of the Muggle vehicle, but because of the people standing by it. "Hello, Warrick, Gabby," she said, as warmly as possible.

Bella shivered when the ghost spoke,"its...its your dad?" she asked a bit nervous but then there was a knock and Laura ran back again. there was a bit of screaming which Bella thought was a part and parcel of Laura's cheery character. she giggled and then saw...
"Jule! wow this is great," said Bella hugging her friend as soon as she came in with Laura...



Far away Laura Thomas apparated within the sweeping drive lined by trees leading to the magnificent Manor which was standing tall in the center. this was her visit to another friend of her's from the Ministry. one was in Italy, one in Spain and the other here in this beautiful countryside just outside London.she noticed quite a lot of animals and birds chirping and flying here and there.she slowed down a bit and was intently observing everything that was leading to the huge manor. the Manor seemed to look huge and as she reached it was looking magnificent. she came up to the oak door and knocked it...

"Emma." Warrick said coldly.

"Hi, Emma." Gabby said nicely, trying to improve the mood.

"Hello my peeps," Jule laughed and hugged Laura back. She had missed her greatly since school ended. They were usually up to no good but Jule's aunt was here so it would be on hold for a while. "This is my aunt Abigail. She's like my babysitter and won't leet me out of her sight much," she mumbled the last part as Laura pulled her into the house. But then Jule saw another familiar face there. "It's Izzy Bella! How have you been?" she asked and greeted her as well. It seemed that everyone would be popping out when school ended. But when school was in session, forget about it.

"I heard that, Juliette!," Abilee called out to her niece, who disappeared into the house. "It's nice to see you again, Emma," she smiled and greeted her. "But by the look on your face and the smile you're trying to give, I see you don't really fancy Warrick and his sister?" she slightly smirked at her. Abigail had no problem with them. Though she's only spoken to Warrick a few times in a life time.

Bella giggled as Jule called her Izzy"i am fine Jule. how are you doing?" Bella was feeling a bit awkward. she hardly met Jule in Hogwarts and for that matter even her other friends Laura,Linda and Satine. every time they would see her they would ask where she would have been and she would just shrug it off...but what mattered now was that Bella and her friends would enjoy their term break in this maginificent manor...


Laura waited for the door to be opened. by the time the door would open she turned with her back to the door and was taking in the beautiful secneray of the big lawn in front and the huge vast grounds and the drive through which she came. it was looking all so beautiful...

"Good to hear that," she smiled at her and sat in a nearby chair. "I'm okay. Just trying to stay out of trouble, according to my aunt," she added and let out a sigh. Bella was a very quiet person, in Jule's point of view. She really didn't talk much to anyone. But this summer, that was all going to change. Jule gave a small smirk to herself and thought up a plan.

Bella nodded and giggled when Jule told what her aunt thinks about her.
Bella noticed Jule smirk and she couldnt stop herself from asking,"Jule...why are you smirking?" with a smile spreading on her face too...

Laura scowled. "Yeah, that's my dad. God, I hate him." Glad that the ghost was out of earshot, she grinned. "But know he's not here, we can have fun!" She finnished, with a smirk.

Smiling at Gabby, Laura took her small hand, bending down slightly to be at her level. "Laura's, my sister, is over there. With her friends. They'll be going into they're second year of Hogwarts, if you want to go and speak to them," Emma said softly and warmly, gesturing behind her at the laughing girls. "Although you'd have to ask you're brother..." she added softly.

Standing up, Emma was hurt. If Warricks words were a knife, she would've been bleeding profusely. But they weren't, and she looked up at her younger cousin with a dignified expression. "Look Warrick," Emma began, taking a deep breath. "I'm willing to put our parents past behind us, and be friends, like proper cousins. I'm nothing like my father, no matter what your parents said. If I may say so myself, he was a git." Emma smiled awkwardly, looking around to make sure the ghost had gone.

"Oh, and Grandad's in there," she added as an afterthought, inclining her head at the Lounge door.

Laura laughed at Jule, and her description of her aunt. She laughed even harder at Jules aunts reaction. "Oh, I've missed you!" She smiled, breaking out laughing again.

Emma grinned at Abigail. "Hi sisters great, really sweet, I mean," she said, almost whispering. Then she sighed. "But, well, we're cousins-" her voice was awkward. "-and I've known all my life. The family tree is through there." With that she gestured to the living room, and began to make her way towards it. "But Warrick didn't beleive me when I told him. He was quite harsh actually."

Emma ran to the door, which was still slightly open. "Hi Laura," she cried. "Come in. You know Warrick and Abigail." she said, gesturing to the others, with a smile on her face.

Seeing Jule sit down, Laura threw herself onto the floor, giggling. Gesturing that Bella should take the other chair. "I think," she said, pondering. "That we go all out this coming year, Jule. I mean, we cause as much caos, and trouble, as possible." Her voice had fallen to a whisper, so that her sister, and Jules aunt, couldn't hear. Lauras glinting, mischeivious eyes and smile were back, and she'd made a decision.



"Yeah, Jule, why the smirk?" Laura asked, sitting upright. Her partner in Crime had a plan, and she could tell.

"Well, if you mist know, I'm planning on more mischief If I can. Maybe get the new firsties involved as well. We have to show them that it's okay to get in trouble," she said. She had to whisper the entire thing since her aunt was around and near. "But also, Laura and I need to make you quiet ones," she looked at Izzy Bella and thought of Vicky, "more out going. And you've got to stop disappearing," she added.

Abilee arched her eyebrow, while Emma spoke. "Well that's not really fair, now is it? If I were you, I would just let him do whatever he wants. Let him believe it or not," she said as she looked at their family tree. They only had the ones that were still alive. It was pretty short, unlike her family tree. "But Warrick still shouldn't have acted that way," she added and crossed her arms. Abilee clicked her heels and stood straight. "But he'll probably come around."

Bella squirmed a bit as she sat down on the chair but she was up to it...she was gonna be a bit sportive this time..."ok i am up to it Jule what is it? but...listen we wouldnt want the firsties to get into so much trouble that we loose our house points and worst get a detention...as far as the house points are not affected i am game," she added.


Laura had her back to the door when the door opened. "aha...Emma. how you doing?" she asked and came in."yes i know them," she added with a smile.
"hey Warrwick,Gabby and Abilee,"
"Emma your house is really beautiful" she added looking at the vastness of the manor and the granduer of it

"It won't be anything too big. And of course we don't want to lose house points. We'll just show them how to be more open and they decide what to do with that," she explained and thought of something else. It was pretty obvious why she ended up in Ravenclaw now. She was always thinking of things to do. "But we'll make their first year exciting as well. Except if something bad starts happening, then they're on their own. Depening on who it is," she smirked and shifted n her seat.

Abilee turned and saw laura greeting her. "Oh, hello, Laura. It's nice to see you again. Hope all is well," she smiled at her but then she heard Jule's friends laugh in another room. I sure hope she's not up to no good. She'll pay, she slightly laughed and went on with her conversations.

Laura ginned at Jule and giggled. "Yeah, nothing big, I mean, no loss of Points or getting expelled. That'd just be stupid. I mean, I don't mind a few detentions, but..." she couldn't control it. Breaking out into a fit of giggles, Lauras eyes glinted with mischeivious plans. "I reckon," she added, still keeping her voice low. "I reckon we stock up on Weasleys, when we go to Diagon Alley." She grinned at her friends. There was no way she could leave now.

Following Abigails gaze towards her family tree, Emma sighed. "I guess you're right, Abigail, thanks," she said, with a little smile. Abigail had a sensible head, and that was what Emma needed right now; a good friend, and good advice. That was what Abigail had given her, and she was forever greatful. Realising that Abigail was still staring at her family tree, Emma smiled. "It's small, right?" she said. "But it was the only part that we could save, when our other house burnt down." Leaning over to Abigail, Emma lowered her voice, and inclined her head towards the ghost that was sitting in the far chair of the Lounge. "Curtesy of him," she muttered.

Sure there was something wrong, Laura couldn't stop ginning, even if she tried. It was a nice feeling, but it somehow unnerved Laura. She hadn't had this much fun for weeks, and she was glad she wasn't going to leave Hogwarts. How to tell her mother, though? "Glad you're game, Izzy Bella!" grinned Laura, picking up on Jules nickname. "We'll be like the Three Musketeers....of mischeif!" she added.

Emma smiled at Laura, then beckoned for her and the others still stood by the doorway to join her and Abigail in the Lounge. She sat down, and gestured that the others should sit, too. "Glad you like it, Laura," Emma smiled.

Laura grinned at Jule. "As I said before, nothing that'll lose us too many house points, but nothing to small, either. We want the firsties to enjoy their first year, even more than we enjoyed ours," Laura smiled. "I wonder if anything crazy'll happen again." she wondered out loud. "I mean, last year was pretty cool, what with all the flood and everything."
