Amy Fox slowly approached the front of the Great Hall. She nervously took a seat on the stool as the sorting hat was placed over her head. The hat fell over her eyes. She stared at the inside of the old brown hat.
"Very, very interesting... Never thought I'd see the day..." a voice inside her head said.
"Slytherian!!" the hat boomed. The hat was then removed from her head. She was directed to the table on the far side of the Great Hall. She watched the staff table as she walked across the hall. They were whispering. Was it about her? What had the sorting hat meant? She knew she should have started reading her school books. There was obviously so much she didn't know.
"Welcome to the Slytherian house. What's your sir name again? I might have heard it before. Perhaps your father works with mine at the ministry? Us purebloods have got to stick together, right?" said a tall older boy with a badge that said prefect.
Amy bit her bottom lip. It didn't take a genius to guess what the word pure blood meant. "I don't think so. My family is not from England." she lied.

Plot:
Its been a hundred years since the rise and fall and rise and fall of Lord Voldermort. Things haven't changed much. Slytherians (at least on the outside) believe that being a Slytherian is a title that belongs to those of pure blood (and of course a few special cases such as the Dark Lord himself).
So what would happen to the house that prizes itself on being the absolute best if a mudblood were sorted into their beloved house? Would Salazar himself turn over in his grave for such blasphemy? Would they accept this mudblood as one of their own? Or will the separation of views tear the house apart? Or perhaps the much needed change of mind will occur...
I'd like an even number of boys and girls. All charries must be Slytherian purebloods. I'd like most to be firsties. Please post bios if you want to be in this. No need to ask first.

** Character personality, strengths & weaknesses: Blair loves to succeed, and in her eyes giving anything less than 100% to any project is equal to suicide. Because of this, she works hard in School and has the brilliant grades to prove it. However, it can often leave her tired, crabby and irritable if she has been working hard to finish an assignment and she doesn’t get the quiet or the time to do it.
In saying this, she is generally a nice person; once you get to know her... and getting to know her isn’t easy. It takes time, and effort on everyone’s behalf but hers. Unless she has a reason to get to know you, or she thinks you have something that she needs, and if you do, then watch out because she will be there, trying to steal it from you.
Unique character traits: Like many pure-blooded children, Blair was brought up trying to be the best she could be, and then some. As such, she was given dancing lessons, music lessons and singing lessons. Blair and her sister get on greatly, however, many assume this to be because they only ever see each other over holidays, when they want to see each other and have over four months gossip to catch up on.

When she was little it was a fiery-red shade, and gradually it is turning brown although many say it is still red. Many would say that they are a pale sea-green, others say they are a pale sky-blue. Renee likes to say that they can be blue, green or grey. She likes to be distinguishable.

Bio: Mike is an extremely confident young man. All he cares about is being the best of his class. As a pureblood he was brought up knowing Slytherin were the best but as a Deluso he was expected to be the best as his family had been for 5 generations. As it's his turn now he was gonna do what ever it took to keep up his families legacy.
Speaking of male prefects, here's my (extremely late - sorry!) bio:

Her favorite subject is Transfiguration and her least is Muggle Studies.(After 4 years of it, she still can't understand what e-mail is) When Amy comes into her house, Suri expects something is different about her, so she starts to get to know her better. She has to know what's up with Amy!

"Congratulations on making Slytherian." Jake said shaking Amy's hand. He thought it a little odd that he hadn't heard of her family before, but she said she wasn't originally from England. He then turned back to watch the sorting anxiously awaiting when the feast would begin.
Amy awkwardly shook Jake's hand. She wasn't sure how she was going to last a year of this, let alone 7 years of it. From what she had gathered so far Slytherians were very proud of their heritage. The sorting hat had obviously made a mistake. Maybe she would go have a word with the headmaster later. She followed everyone's example and continued to watch the sorting.
Victoria sauntered over to the Slytherin table. She could look down it and know easily more then half the students sitting there. She took a seat next to her good friend Jake. Even though there was a 5 year difference they had always gotten along and their parents being friends only helped the sibling like relationship. "Hey Jakie!" Her voice dripped with sarcasm as she spoke.
Louis was in shock, he had to have been sorted wrong. He never in a million years would have predicted that he was to be sorted into Slytherin. He slumped past Victoria a family friend. She was the only person he knew at the table. Then he saw her. A girl sitting alone, looking slightly out of place. Louis knew how she felt. He took a seat next to her and said "Hi there! I'm Louis Rodrigues. You are?"

"Oh. Hello Victoria." Jake said. "Have a good summer? Glad to see you passed the sorting hat's test. Your father would be proud. And I'm allowed to talk to you now." he said with a joking laugh. He then waited patiently for the sorting to end. Once it did and the feast began he piled his plate high and began digging in.
"Hello. Amy." Amy said to Louis who just sat beside her. She was unsure of what exactly to say. "So. Umm... How long does this last? I'm starved." As she said this the headmaster announced that the sorting ceremony was over and the feast was about to start. She smiled gratefully as food appeared on all the plates. "Well. That was a pleasant surprise." she said grabbing some of the food off of a nearby plate.
Mike confidently made his way to the front as his name was called. He took a seat on the stool and felt the professor put the sorting hat on his head and before it even had made it's choice he knew where he was gonna be placed. He was a third generation pureblood Deluso and every Deluso always ended up
in Ravenclaw. He waited for an extended time with the sorting hat upon his head and then it blurted out: Sorting Hat: "Slytherin. 'What', Mike thought. What was up, none of his family had ever been in Slytherin in fact they hated Slytherins, great. But nonetheless he was a Deluso and he was still gonna be the best regardless. He stood up from the stool after the sorting hat was removed from his head and hesitantly made his way to Slytherin table and sat next to girl who he thought seemed different from the other Slytherins but he was'nt sure why but it was a comfort to him as he watched the rest of the sorting ceremony.
Amy smiled weakly as another boy sat beside her. She quickly busied herself with drinking something that was in the goblet infront of her. She wasn't quite sure what it was, but it was definitely different from anything she'd ever had before.
Jake eyed the newcomers. He couldn't believe it. A Rodrigues and Deluso in his house. "What are you two doing here?" he said harshly to the two guys.
Amy heard Jake and immediately her mood improved. "I guess I'm not the only one." she thought to herself. She then decided to introduce herself to the other guy sitting next to her. "My name is Amy. What's yours?"
