Bethany was cooking dinner she stood at the stove stirring cheese sauce with her wand for Broccoli and Cheese to go with Tony's favorite Roast Chicken. He looked over at Antonia playing with her toy broom and laughing and she put the food back into the oven to keep warm until Tony got home.

She walked over to Antonia and picked her up smiling, "Hey princess what do you say you and I go get all pretty for Daddy?"

Antonia was zooming around on her toy broom and laughed as she reached the door. Quickly turning the broom around, she zoomed back over towards the sofa and fell off as she crashed into it. When her mum picked her up she grinned "Yeah! I wanna be pretty for Daddy, when is he gonna get here?" she asked excitedly.

"Soon angel. He'll be home soon and then we'll have dinner and maybe we'll all watch a movie together ok?" Aside from a few things they pretty much lived like muggles and Bethany liked it that way. They had many things that most wizarding families did not because Tony needed them for work and the ministry allowed it. She carried Antonia into their bedroom and changed her into a pink dress and matching socks and black shoes and brushed her curls into a ponytail. Then Bethany changed into a Green dress and high heels applied a little makeup and let her brown hair down.



"There we go angel all pretty for daddy!"

Antonio was happy because he was finally almost home, back with his beautiful wife Bethany and their adorable daughter Antonia once again. He was dressed casually, wearing jeans and a brown T-shirt, because he knew that Bethany loved his casual style. His long light brown hair was neatly combed, and he was carrying a bouquet of red roses for Bethany and two new toys for Antonia, a spinning top and a kaleidoscope that he had found in a muggle shop on the way home. He wanted to give her muggle toys because, being Muggle Studies professor at Hogwarts, it only made sense that he would want her to learn about things that muggles enjoyed as well as magical toys. They lived a simple life, something gaudy or ostentacious, which he preserved. Bethany was a wonderful cook and he looked forward to her meal. And Antonia was getting bigger every day, and looking more and more like her mother. She was going to be a real heartbreaker.

"I'm home!", he called out, unlocking the door and stepping inside.

"Tony!" Beth ran into her husband's arms! "Oh I missed you so much!" She held tight to him and a second later Antonia could be heard toddling along behind her. "We decided we'd dress up for you to night and be pretty for you. Didn't we angel?" Beth asked Antonia. She leaned up and kissed him softly. She could not wait until Antonia was asleep and they could have some alone time.

"How was your day?" She asked softly. She could remember a time when they didn't live close enough for Tony to commute, It was hard at times if he had to get up in the middle of the night but at least they lived in hogsmeade. Only a few blocks from the castle. She walked over to the oven and pulled out the chicken and the broccoli and cheese and the rolls and she tossed a quick salad. She had a Strawberry cheesecake cooling in the fridge for dessert. "Babe can you help me set the table?" She asked him

"I missed you too!", Antonio exclaimed, putting his arms around Bethany's waist and twirling her around. "Both of you look beautiful, even more beautiful than I remembered!", he said truthfully. "I feel like I should be taking both of you out someplace fancy to show you off, but I always feel that way around you two." He then picked up Antonia and began to carry her on his back piggyback style.

"It was good," Antonio said. "There were a lot of students who came and visited me today, and they were all really nice and some of them even gave me ideas for classes to use in the future, isn't that amazing?" Antonio never ceased to marvel how brilliant his students were. He really had the best of both worlds, as he loved teaching and he loved his family, and he only had to travel a short distance between the two. He knew that many of the other professors had a much harder time staying in touch with their families, and he was a lucky man. In spite of what had happened before, and it would never ever happen again. His family was safe now.

"Oh, another wonderful meal." Bethany had made Antonio's favorite dessert, strawberry cheesecake. "Of course I can help set the table," he said, giving Bethany a quick nuzzle as he began laying out the silverware.

"Okay, mummy" Antonia smiled widely. She loved it when Daddy came home. Smiling happily as her hair was brushed and she was changed into her favourite pink dress, Antonia looked up at the window, wondering how long it would be before he got home. "Yay, you look very pretty mummy." Antonia complimented her.

Antonia looked up "Home?!" she exclaimed happily. When her mum ran off, Antonia jumped to her feet and followed as quickly as she could. She nodded when her mum told her dad that they'd dressed up for him "Yes mummy" she smiled.

Antonia giggled as her dad picked her up and carried her on his back "No daddy, we should be showing you off" Antonia corrected him as she put her arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Tony I don't know how to do fancy and a lot of company anymore." Beth hadn't even returned to work yet, how do you tell the head of Magical Law enforcement that one of your senior Aurors has been kidnapped and tortured by deatheaters? Edward was probably the only one that would understand. She was still afraid to go outside for long and never alone.


"Thank you princess. I hope Daddy likes it." She smiled at Antonia at the window She grew more and more like Tony every day. "Why don't you hold your Daddybear while you wait." She liked how Antonia had taken her nickname for Tony and twisted it.


"Never argue with the princess." She scolded Tony gently.


Just then there was a knock on the door and and Beth went to answer it. She gasped at the sight she saw. "TONY!" She called for her husband. There stood Erin looking like death warmed over. "Please don't let Liam see me this way." She gasped before fainting in her sister's arms.

Erin's appearance:

Antonio laughed. "I would never want to upstage the princess. She's the one who needs to be shown off," he said. And it was true. Antonio was prouder of Antonia than anything else in the world. He loved his family so much, especially since he had come so close to losing them both. It made him really appreciate how truly special they both were.

Antonio appreciated what Bethany was saying. She had been through a horrible ordeal and it was only natural for her to need some time alone. She was no longer going to be working as an auror, which he completely agreed with. It had been her job which had probably put her in such terrible danger to begin with. But she was a wonderful cook, the best he had ever known, and she did a great job with Antonia. He was quite happy that the experience hadn't scarred her too badly that she was changed completely, she was such a strong woman! He knew he was married to the best.

"Yeah, you're right," he told Bethany, knowing it was pretty useless to argue with Antonia, even at this age. She must have gotten that quality from him!

Just then a knock came to the door and who should appear but Erin, looking much changed from the way she used to appear. Unlike Bethany, she looked years older than she had just a short time ago, the ordeal must have been horrible for her. As she collapsed into Bethany's arms, he rushed over to help her carry Erin inside.

"God what did he do to her?" Beth was absolutely scared. She held tight to her sister as they took her into the spare room. She was not sure what to do but she had to help her sister and get her back with Liam where she belonged. Rommulus Black had never deserved Erin.

"I'm not sure, but it doesn't look good," Antonio said. He remembered that Romulus had disappeared and not been found by anyone, he had been playing stupid but maybe he wasn't so stupid, after all. "It had to be him, didn't it? Let me take a look at her." Antonio had had some experience in the muggle world, this seemed to be some sort of muggle potion that he had used on her, but why? "I have some medicine that might help her," he said.

Liam decided he needed to see Mr Dumont. He knocked on the door, he was dressed in black. He hoped that Mr Dumont would let him talk to him, he was sad he still hadn't got over the death of three of his sons. He waited for someone to answer the door.

Bethany answered the door. Opening the door she saw her brother-in-law Liam. She hugged him tight. "Liam she's here! Erin's here! She's not doing so good but she's in the spare room."

Erin opened her eyes and called out weakly to her husband. "Liam."

Liam looked at Bethany who was hugging him. Who was this? he hadn't met her before in his life, well not what he knew about, was she someone who his wife knew, maybe. "uh, hi." He smiled as he let her hug her. When he heard his wife he cried. "I don't think I can go up there, if she not good." He said he had lost to much. "Is she going to be alright?" He asked. "I only came to see Mr Dumont, I have to be back at work soon."

"I'm Bethany, Erin's sister. Your sister in Law and Antonio's wife. Go to her please she needs you." She pushed him into the spare room where Erin lay. Antonio was with her.

Erin held her frail arms out for her husband.

Antonio breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing that Liam was there. "Nice to see you again, sir. We will speak later, but I think your wife really needs you now." He felt badly for Liam, not only had he lost three sons but now his wife had been hurt, too. How much tragedy could a person have in their lives?

"Bethany?" He looked at her. "I'm sorry but I don't remember you." He said. "I wish I did but I don't." He cried, hoping she would forgive him. He then got pushed into Erin's room without wanting to. "But, I have work to do." He protested but it wasn't any good. He looked at Erin and smiled. "Hello stranger, how are you?"

Caroline Weasley aparted in frount of the house, it did feel good being of age. Dad was always working and Caroline didn`t start working till next year so she had to do something and why not visit her aunt? Caroline knocked twice

"Me too" Antonia smiled "Yeah, I will" she nodded and then smiled again. She beamed happily when her mum told her dad off. She always got her own way.

"No daddy, YOU should be shown off, you're the best" She grinned and put her arms around his neck. She kept her eyes down and her mouth closed as her mum and dad carried someone into the house. She leant against the wall and watched silently as they spoke and ran around, trying to help the lady.

Antonio knew that Antonia was watching what was happening. "I think it's about time you go to bed, young lady," he said, hoping to get her away from what was going on for a while. She had already seen too much.

Just then, Antonio heard a knock at the door. He opened it and saw that Caroline Weasley was there. "Hello, Caroline," he said. It wasn't really a good time to visit, but he knew Caroline had come from a long way and he appreciated her coming by. "Why don't you come in, it's pretty cold out there." He opened the door wider.

"I agree. Off to bed little missy I'll be in to kiss you goodnight in a little while." Bethany said. Pointing Antonia to bed.

"I've missed you Liam I love you so much!" She took his hand. "Where are the boys why didn't you bring them?" She asked. Then she looked at Herr sister. "Rommulus found Christian." She whispered. "My baby, his adoptive parents brought him to Hogwarts. Rommulus saw him in Hogsmeade and he wants him back. We have to protect him. Merlin's beard why didn't the MacLeod's keep him in Russia?" She sobbed. "I want my sons!"

Antonio overheard the name of Christian being mentioned by Erin. Could that possibly be the Christian he had met in Hogwarts just the other day, the new student from Durmstrang? At the mention of the word Russia, he was willing to bet that it was. He couldn't help but express concern on his face as he heard this excerpt of conversation. If Romulus Black was after the boy, it couldn't be good!

Bethany spoke up "Tony didn't you tell me a new boy named Christian transferred from Drumstrang. Wasn't he the one who intercepted prince and brought you my note?" Maybe you should bring him here. He is family."

Erin spoke up. "Bring him here to me please Antonio. Please He's your nephew."

Caroline entered the cottage and her smile slid away, something was wrong, what had happened to aunt Erin? She stayed away from the rest but she asked softly to Aunt Bethany "Whats going on?" She didn`t expect an answer but maybe something so she knew something.
