She felt him pull back, after a rather long moment of course, with what seemed to be a small look of shock on his face, but he spoke...somewhat. She lowered herself down from her tippy toes as now Christian couldn't seem to form complete sentences. Whoa! That was usually a good sign on her part but then as he excused himself, she wondered what was wrong, until she witnessed him falling to the floor. He was out cold.

She quickly ran and fell to her knees at his side. "Christian," she exclaimed as she began fanning him with her hand. "Gah! That's not working. She looked around as she found one of his mother's romance novels on the table next to the couch. She extended her arm, grabbed the book and opened it up to give more of a fanning effect. Oh, what had she done? "Christian, wake up...Christian," she said as she patted his cheek with her hand in a frantic panic.

Christian felt a nice breeze across his face. Ooooh, was he in Hawaii or something? He sure would like to be in Hawaii right now...with Lyra. Sigh. And then there something tapping his face. Buzz off birds! I'm dreaming here... In the far distance he could hear somebody's voice trying to pull him back, it soundly like Lyra...oh how he hoped it was Lyra...please be Lyra...

Christian's eyes opened a little bit and he blinked a few times. "Lyra?" he mumbled, his hand trying to search for hers to hold.

Lyra watched as Christian seemed to be coming back from his fainting spell. Was that a smile on his face? She continued fanning him with the romance novel until he spoke her name. "Oh good," she sighed as she pulled the book in her direction for a nice breeze as well. And with another sigh, she noticed that he was reaching for her hand. "I'm right here," she paused as her other hand, the one with the book of course, began fanning Christian once more.

"How do you feel? Is your head hurt? Are your legs okay?" She began thinking of every question to ask to make sure he was okay, but she didn't give him time to answer. "Christian? Christian, answer me. Tell me you are okay." She wore a worried look as she stared down at him, her hair falling around her face. The book began giving him a cool breeze once again.

Christian closed his eyes tightly again; too many questions! Too many questions! "Lyra, calm down..." He patted her leg, or what he thought was her leg, trying to comfort her. "I'm fine," he mumbled again as he felt the light breeze continue on his face. He tried to pick himself up off the floor, but opted for just sitting up instead. "Do me a favour. If we ever get married and have children; let's not tell them that part. Just saying." He grinned amusedly at her.

Lyra took a deep breath as Christian patted the floor next to her. Her eyes shifted for a moment wondering what in the world he was doing, but then saw him sit upright. And without hesitation, Lyra's wicked grin came back. "Why not? It makes for an interesting story," she giggled from behind the book as her green eyes were now on him. "So now we both agree that you won't for get me, huh?" She continued to hide behind the book with wide, yet innocent looking eyes.

Christian grinned as he leaned his head back against something; he was having a hard time registering what she had said in his mind - it was still focused on their kiss. Oh man, that was like...sigh...

"No. Definitely not going to forget about you. I would be a fool to do so." He reached a hand out and brushed away the hair in her face and tucked it behind her ear. "Not going to forget..."

Lyra pulled the book down from her face as Christian began playing with her hair again. A sigh escaped from her lips as she closed her eyes for a moment. Neither one would forget the other, he was right about that. She opened her eyes once more to gaze at him. He was cute with his facial expressions and his sighs, which were almost the same as hers.

"I didn't know you would react that way," she spoke of the kiss as she looked down for a moment and smiled. "But if I had it to do all over again, I would have caught you before you fell." Her cheeks became a rosey shade of pink as she was now blushing from the rather cute incident. Never before had a boy fainted in front of her, especially from a kiss. She enjoyed every minute of that...of course after knowing that he was okay.

Josh had driven around enough after lyra's and his little fun carnival. he had to give agie her stuff animals that he had won for her. That or he would just have to wait to give it to her when she leaved. What fun would that be. Its not like he had anything else to do at the moment. He had some things he should be doing, but like normal he wasnt doing them. He drove up into the Brandywine house..at which he had been several times in the past few days.. and shut off his car. he moved to grab the lion and snake as he then headed to her door. He moved to knock on the door as he waited. he hoped kerry didnt answer it. That would be interesting.

Agie was in her room when she heard the doorbell. Kerry and her mum had gone shopping and she pretended to be packing. The truth was that she wouldn't have been able to walk around all day on her ankle.

Agie had received an owl from Lyra explaining why she had left. Even though she understood, it still hurt Agie. She didn't even say goodbye.

Oh right! The doorbell!! Agie ran down the stairs as fast as her ankle would let her. She opened the door to see Josh there, standing with a snake and a lion. "Josh!" She said before bursting in a fit of giggles.

josh waited as the door finally opened.their she stood... going into fits of laughter. he was confused ..what the heck was she laughing at? he gave her a smile as he chuckled a little. he had no clue what she was laughing at, but her laughing was making him laugh." What are you laughing at? I cant be that funny.." he told her as he added," I havent even done anything." yet. he shook his head a little as he then waited for her to let him in." how are you feeling?" he was forgetting the reason for coming."Right..um.." he said as the whole day flashed in his mind..." i went to the carnival with lyra..." he took a deep breath as he then continued." i won these for you. The lion is you of course. What else would you be? and then this snake is me. " he was sure to tape the lion's mouth shut with some duck tape in his car. " see the lion cant eat the snake." he teased as he then added," so you wouldnt forget me." he didnt want her to forget him..as it seemed everyone else was start to. things were cruddy lately and he didnt want it to get worse.

"Neither did I. I can usually handle a kiss...that one was...just...so unexpected. My body and mind just kind of went into a shock." He chuckled lightly and continued to play with the ends of her hair again. "If we had to do it all over again, I would be ready and you wouldn't need to catch me," he smiled at the sight of her rosy cheeks.

Lyra laid the book across her lap trying to keep the smile off of her face, but it wasn't working. She found the kissing incident adorable, Christian was adorable. As he continued to play with her hair, her eyes glanced up to him, to watch him, to study him, to make mental notes of every detail about him. There was no one in the world she was going to miss more than him.

"Would you just hold me for a while?" she asked as she wanted nothing more than to be as close to him as possible. "I mean...I can read some for us both. You never know how the story is going to end until you read it." She held up one of his mother's romance novels and smiled.

Lyra got up and followed Christian over to the couch. Whoa! This is new and exciting. She raised a brow to him patting his lap and she couldn't help herself, she had to take him up on that offer. Making herself comfortable in his lap, she pulled the book up to her face, the paused. "As much as I would love to sit in your lap for the duration of my stay, are you sure I'm not too heavy? I am quite bone-y in some areas and that might hurt a little...or so my mother has told me." She giggle lightly as she leaned her head back on his shoulder, momentarily. If she was hurting him in any way, she knew he would let her know.

She remembered something she was going to tell him and laid the book down for a moment. "I completely forgot to tell you, mum made some chocolate chip cookies and sent them here," she said as she snuggled her head closer to him and began to blink her eyes. "She made them just for you...I asked her too of course. She makes some of the best things and I need to learn to cook more from her." Oh how she knew that Christian loved his chocolate chip cookies and she had to ask her mother to make him some. And then there was the long letter that her mother also sent to her as well asking about the 'young man'.

Christian shook his head and smiled at her, "Don't worry, I'm fine. Your weight is nothing." He hugged her tight and leaned his head on hers, "You're not bony at all, now stop worrying. I'll be fine." His hand rubbed her arm and watched she pulled the book up again, but then stopped.

"Oh yes! Those arrived this morning with the rest of the post. Those were awesome cookies..." he had a dreamy look on his face as he thought about them. "Tell you mom thank you for me! They were excellent! My mom and I enjoyed them thoroughly," he smiled and kissed her cheek.

"You're holding a stuffed lion and a snake. That's rather amusing to me!" She giggled once more. "I'm fine, come in..." She said, opening the door wider. Agie stared at him for a moment, he appeared to be a little down. "It's for me! Really? It's perfect." And she nearly died of laughter at the duck tape. "Funny Josh" She said poking her tongue out. "Only, it would look much better without it. I think it is rather hungry and that snake look so good to eat.." She stopped talking when he added the last bit. "I could never forget you. Ever!"

josh chuckled as she told him he was rather amusing... holding stuff animals.he chuckled as he really didnt know why. If it made sense that he was laughing because she was. they were amused by the same things anyway. he moved into the house as he nodded at her." Wouldnt call it perfect..i think the word amusing works best." he told her with a grin. Their joke would probably go forever.they would both be dying and they would still be arguing who ate who. he gave her a charming smile as he added," Hey i try." then their was the joke."Actually i've had snake. its not as good as people think." okay he was lying. he didnt have snake, but she didnt need to know that. he gave her a smile as she told him that she could never forget him." good. I wouldnt want it to be any other way." half of his fun would of never existed if agie hadnt show up.

"oh hey." he told her as he then moved onto another topic." Your going to be staying at my cousin's house in france. its huge mansion and their is loads of stuff for you to get into. Trouble sort of getting into. my cousin is in the same year as you are in school. Asteira.. my cousin..She'll love to get into trouble with you." it was true. she was a trouble maker as well. just not in the same extent."is that okay with you?" hopefully it would be." what are you doing tonight?" he asked as he looked around ...it was pretty empty.

Lyra smiled as Christian spoke of the cookies, then made herself comfortable once again in his lap as she readjusted her head. As his lips touched her cheek, she closed her eyes then leaned her head into his. She pulled the book up to where she could see the words and began reading. Everything around her was comfortable, she was comfortable.

The book was full of nothing but short stories, one after another, romance began to fill her brain with knowledge and helpful hints. No wonder his mother read books like these, they were interesting and made a person feel good about themselves and about others. As she came to the end of another story, her eyes began to feel heavy. She sighed lightly as she brought the book down, snuggling closer to him as she knew she needed to get home soon so the both of them could get some sleep.

Agie continued to smirk as she shut the door closed and look a seat on a lounge and she opened her mouth in horror. "You ate snakes. That is disgusting!" She said. Agie joked about lions eating snakes, but she'd never actually eat one. They freaked her out. "Can I keep the snake? And you keep the lion, and I'll call my snake dog!" Agie snickered.

"I am? Awesome! I can't wait, and I get to meet you cousin." She said excitedly. "I can't wait to meet her...I just, wish you'd be there too." Agie admitted. "Umm, I'm pretending to be packing. Why?"
