Agie felt a whole lot better knowing that Josh was safe and by her side. That and the bike was off her leg. Wait! The bike was on her leg? Oh no. That wasn't good. "Did we damage the bike?" Agie asked with a small grin.

Her heart was still racing, but she was calming down. "I'm fine." she said, at least she thought she was fine. Her leg was in agony, but she wouldn't let Josh know that. She laughed at the oil. "So do you!" Agie looked down at her white jumper, well black now. "So much for wearing white." She giggled, as her eyes moved to examine Josh. "Are you ok? Oh Josh! You're bleeding!" She gasped, pointing to his arm. It looked like there was glass or something in it.

Josh chuckled a little as he smiled. She was worried about the bike. he turned to look at it...Ouch. That wasnt pretty." Uh..." he looked back at her as he smiled." Forget the bike." he told her as he moved to kiss her head." your in one piece. thats what matters." he looked down at them as they were covered in oil. They must of knocked something over ..that or the oil line was cut." Well it looked nice." He told her about the white."Really. Not surprised. their is crap all over this place. It was not this dirty when i came here last." he assured her. he was messy, but not this bad."come on lets get out of here." he told her.'how are you feeling..You need help?" he asked her

Agie giggled at his face when he saw the bike. "I guess not." She smirked. "I'm so sorry for pushing the button." She said, smiling as he kissed her head. "When you came here last? You've been here before? Where are we?" She blurted out at once. Agie nodded, she wanted to get out of here too. She knew she wouldn't be able to work, but she was going to try. "I'm fine!" She said trying to get up. The moment she put any weight on her leg she let out a cry of pain and bit down on her lip as her eyes filled with tears again.

he just shrugged as she talked about the bike." its okay. I can always build it again. it was from scratch pretty much anyway." he told her as he took a moment to think about it. " Well.. six or seven years ago." he said as he looked around." Looks like they rented this place out a little. Someone is in trouble." he said as he smiled at her. he moved to stand up as he was a little store.. not to mention that their was some sort of sharp pain in his side. He was not a stranger to pain. He heard agie in pain as he moved to catch her." dont worry." he told her as he picked her up. he bit down on his lip as carrying her only made it worse." Just hang on." he told her in a low voice. He made his way around the bike as he headed outside. he took a moment to look around as it was snowing lightly."Were in Canada...In the mountains obviously." he told her as he carried her to the front door.

he moved to type in some numbers as the door unlocked. he moved into the house as he let agie close the door while he held her. He then walked past the living room and into the kitchen where he sat her on the island." Whats the matter?.. which leg?" he asked her.

Agie just smiled, she was relieved when he picked her up, but felt bad for him. "No, stop. I'll walk." She said softly, but it was no use. He was already carrying her to the house. It was so beautiful. There was snow and mountains. And there were in "Canada!" She said out loud. "How did we get to Canada!"

She held on to Josh as he lead her through the door, closing it for him. He put her down and she smiled at him. "Oh nothing, other than a motorbike being on top of my leg!" She said, with a smile. Nothing would take away her sense of humour. "My right one....but what about you? Where are you hurt?" Agie demanded to know.

How did we get here.Josh rolled his eyes as it was a bit obvious." You push the button. thats how we go here." he said as he shook his head." Didnt you learn not to push things that you dont know what they do? Oh wait your agie brandywine...Nevermind." he said to her with a smile.

he looked at her as he shook his head." Gesh i missed that part. Is that what that piece of large metal on top of you. Thanks for pointing that one out." he said as he shook his had again with a smile." a few places." he told her as he moved to push up her pant leg and take off her shoe. "Holy crap!" he said as he looked at her.." um..its um...Dont look." he told her as he wasnt going to tell her.. he looked back down at it as he let her look." Just kidding." he smirked as he then lightly pressed around her foot." where does it hurt.."

If Josh wasn't already hurt, Agie would have nudged him. "Nahhh!" She said poking out her tongue. "I mean, what are you doing with that kind of button on your bike?"

"Any time!" She smirked. Agie frowned when he said he was hurt all over. But before she could reply he was taking her shoe off. "Ow, ow ow ow! Hey! That hurts." She complained as her mouth dropped because of what he was saying. "What, what is it? ...JOSH!" She giggled, when she realised he was joking. She folded her arms, she'd get him back for that one. "It hurts all over. I think it is my ankle." Agie said.

"That button is in case of emergencies. Not because someone wants to go on a button pushing frenzy." he looked up at her as he smiled. he looked down at her ankle as he took a deep breath. She didnt know yet...she would probably kill him for it too." i put it on there because what im going to do it will be useful to have a back up. Just in case something happens. Quick escape sort of thing." he told her as he then moved her foot up, back and then to the sides to see what hurt. "you probably just sprang your ankle." he wasnt a doctor, but he was use to being around kids who fell over themselves. you learn to at least pretend your a doctor." your going to be fine." he told her as he looked at her." We should probably stay here for the night. if thats okay with you. In the morning i'll go down the mountain and get us some help."

Christian chuckled, "My mother's just glad there's some sort of male figure there at that school that's ready to be kind of a parent to me. I'm just glad it's Fabian."

He folded his hands in his lap as he looked out across the backyard. His head was nodding in agreement to what she was saying, "it was for the best. You two are going to have to put up with each other in a French school for a few years. You're going to need each other, not knowing the french language can be a pain." He looked over at her and eyed her carefully.

"Come on, what's wrong? Don't say nothing, I can something's bothering you. Spill."

"What kind of emergencies?" She asked, afraid that she was about to be told something bad. "What do you mean, in case something happens." Her voice was a little shaky, she was so full of questions. Her foot was piercing with pain, when he moved it, he made the pain worse. She pulled it back as much as she could. "Sprained. It feels like it is broken." She said. "If you can wrap it up, then it will be fine for now." Agie said not caring about her leg. She wanted to know what Josh was talking about. "We can stay here if you want." She said. "But, you're going to have to let me look at that cut and get the glass out."

He nodded at her as she asked him to wrap it up for her."i'll be back." he told her as he then left for the bathroom.a few minutes later he came back with a container of medical supplies.he opened it and took out a something to wrap it with as he he then set it on the counter.he looked at her as she was going to keep asking anyway."I think their was something following us." he told her as he then started to wrap her ankle.

"Im part of a group called ryders. We are known by our dark figures and some sort of birds. I have connor who is a falcon...and we have a mind connection. thats why earlier i was yelling at him. When he gets excited he tends to yell." he sighed as the whole time he was looking down at her foot." Basically we go out into the field and get the wizards that the ministry cant see to find.. or we go and get them back. Lets say some auror is missing and they thing they are captured by some wizards. We are paid to go in and get them. Obviously their are some people who are not happy about what we do, but you cant expect everyone to be happy about it. We choose who we go after and sometimes we will do side jobs. We mostly work for the ministry in exchange for the public not knowing we exist." he looked at her." You dont know us and lets keep it that way. alright?"he asked her as he didnt want her to get into trouble. "it was started by my great grandfather and right now my older brother has control of it." he wasnt about to tell her that he had gone missing for awhile because of it. He was back and safe now.

"Agie since i was little i was trained by my dad to be an auror. Its all i've known. Fighting, spells...its all i know how to do." he told her as he gave her a small smile. he might as well tell her the rest." i dont know why im telling you this but here it is. My mom died when i was young and she was killed right in front of me. She was playing piano in this old mansion she was showing me when i was little. she started to get all panicked.. something like that. I cant quite remember all the details. Anyway she hid me in this.. room under the stairs. I came out to see her being murdered by some people. Next thing i know my dad comes in with some of the aurors from the ministry. I watched her die and their was nothing i could do." he looked down at her leg as he still blamed himself for her death a little. "anyway life wasnt the same after my mother left. My dad got more and more aggressive. two years ago i decided not to be an auror for my dad at the ministry but instead go and be full time as a ryder and do something muggle wise to cover it up.he was pretty furious. I was at school when i heard that Julian had died. Thats my second oldest brother." he informed her. he never really ever talked about his family." I went to his funeral and afterwards my dad took me aside and said he wanted to talk. i went with him and he used the crucio curse on me to make me join him." he sighed a that wasnt a fun event."See in my family the third son..which is me, is suppose to have natural talents for being an auror. He was upset that i wasnt going to be there at the ministry. If im out he cant keep an eye on me." he sighed as he looked down at her foot." he isnt the same person he use to be. He married a muggle lady and he doesnt even like muggles. He doesnt make sense anymore."

he had finished as he he put some tape to keep it wrapped. he looked up at her." Finished. Agie im use to pain and crashes like that...its really the least of my promblems. I've have people walk in and out of my life and never come back. I dont trust people much and my trust in people is getting lower and lower as time goes on." he was sure lyra might of pushed him off the edge. That was the second time someone had done that to him." Having people around that you care for is a bit rare for me..at least ones that stick around."he smiled a little at her. he moved to get some cleaning wipes as he opened them and cleaned her cuts. he put band aids over them once they were clean." I know everyone thinks my life is pretty easy so i try not to disappoint them. I dont really tell anyone about my family."

Her green eyes looked over to Christian as he spoke of Fabian the way he did, but now he was moving off to another school and wouldn't have that closeness. She sighed as she knew she was not the only one that was going to miss Fabian. "Fabian is wonderful. Well, he makes me mad sometimes but...it's that what a parental unit is supposed to do?" she asked as she leaned back in her chair and looked at the stars.

"Yeah, I understand very little French...mom always spoke French when she was upset...or laughing. It was weird. I picked up little things here and there." She paused for a moment and began to giggle slightly. "You know, I have a french book that I should be carrying around with me at all times. Dad brought it home from the Ministry. Helps with the accents and what-nots to the words." She looked back over to Christian with a raised brow. "We will see just how good it works."

And she knew he was going to ask the dreadful question of what's wrong, but it didn't bother her. Now coming from someone else, she would have bit their head off in anger. She was always comfortable talking to Christian with just about anything, but this? The last thing she wanted to do was hurt him in any way possible. Not now, not ever again.

"I don't know if I'm more angry with Josh or with myself. He doesn't understand my friendship with you...and I guess he never will. You were there before he was and I'm not just going to walk away from you." And then it hit her. She realized at that moment what she had done and why Josh was so upset with her. Her eyes widened as she looked to Christian. "I chose you over him." She swallowed lightly as she continued to stare at Christian for a moment then slowly turned forward, leaned back in her chair and gazed up at the stars again. Now she was quiet.

Ari nodded, but before she could say or do anything, Josh had come back and swept Agie off her feet, almost literally. "Thanks much Josh." she muttered, glaring at his back as he left. "Why did I come?" She asked, no onein particular before making her mind up and walking slowly for the door. No one would notice her gone and she'd be able to practse driving. Ye, that would be best she thought picking up her bag and lsinging it over her shoulder. "Well Agie hope you have a great life in Beauxbatons." She called out to Agie as she opened the door, casting one last glance at her so called friends, or aquaintances.

At the door she walked out, not casting another glace at the party and sat down on the stoop, wondering if she should somehow contact her mother to pic kher up. Lord knew she was having no dun here she thought sighing as she took off her pink jazz hat and began playing with the rim. She was lonely, that was her problem. If more people spoke to her instead of bein scared ofher she'd be fine. She was an outcast, she knew that. All her life had been filled with trama and dspair. It all started when her father died, thugh now she was starting to think otherwise.

For the past week she had been reciving strange messages. ODd little notes which would find their way into her luggage or bed at night. Forawhile she thought nothing of it, figuring she'd made the notes to remind her of things but she would never write things about her father. Never. No it had to be smeone else, someoene who knew her and her parents. She hadn't spoken to nyone about them, but kept the notes in a special hiding place, knowing she'd get an answer soon.
