Ok, I haven’t made my own RP up for a long time. Missed doing this. So here’s the story…morning glory.
It’s the era of the trio’s kids at Hogwarts (era of the epilogue of Deathly Hallows)…but we’re not playing the kids. We’re around the trio as adults generation so you can be working at the Ministry or working in Diagon Alley. They know each other, doesn’t necessarily mean that they like each other. At a certain point all of our characters are pulled back in time to the Victorian era. Victorian London is all about you. Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic exist but of course they’re in Victorian style. Once in Victorian London it becomes obvious from the people they meet that there is something wrong in London. Children are disappearing mysteriously. They are all the children of muggles but are the kids muggles themselves? There’s one man (Skine) and a gang of other rejects who are following him. Squibs. He’ll appear briefly throughout but chiefly at the end as this is a sort of mystery story. He did spend time at Hogwarts at the same time as our characters. It’s up to the gang of wizards pulled back in time to find out and stop whoever is doing this as well as figure out a way to get back to their own era. I would like mostly made-ups but if you insist on being a character from the canon so be it. I really, really don’t want any one-line posts. They are just tedious and don’t help story or anything. Plus PM me if you can’t be bothered to carry with the RP.

Personality: He is very studious and is enthusiastic about most things. He can’t stand blood prejudice…or any prejudice really. He seems to be very sure about what is right and wrong but he is occasionally stumped. He can be humorous but he can be severe at times. He works for the department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. He has a nephew at Hogwarts but Tristram lives alone. He has never been too bothered about money as the family have always been quite well off. He has only been at the Ministry for about four years having been travelling around Europe.

Name: Edgar Skine
Age: 29
Blood status: Squib
Personality: Attended Hogwarts but as the groundskeeper and caretaker’s apprentice. He was taught the principles of the magical world but he has never been able to be included or indeed use the magic beyond operating a magical device. So he has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He is bitter, cruel and one of those people who thinks the world should have given them a lot more than they got out of life. However he doesn't let this show too much. He has had to work hard to get as rich and succesful as he is but it will never fill that gap that he longs to have filled. To have magic. He works as an accountant for most of the shops of Diagon Alley though he rarely visits.
Appearance: 6”0, he is thin, hollowed cheeks. He has black neat hair but it has begun to recede.He very rarely wears a smile and when he does noone else smiles. He has harsh black eyebrows. He usually wears a suit in order to prove himself as much as possible. However, he is good looking, better looking than Tristram and is much richer and powerful than him.

Bio: Cecelia was very studious in her Hogwarts days but alway fearful of one thing or another and always nervous but over the years with help from her freinds she over came most of her fears and learned to control her nervous ticks and focused on becoming a strong and confident witch she did. After Hogwarts her mother became quite ill and she had to take over the family buisness cause her father worked as a Hogwarts Herbology professor. Her mother died soon there after and the Leaky Couldron became her permenant new home. She works there as the landlady to this day and tries to find time to go out with freinds if time permits. Cecelia is fun, out going, but also a little bitter feeling like her social life as a young adult was cut short cause she was obligated to her family buisness.

Yeah you can join as two characters, just post the bio -plus people can be more than one character. This rp has time travel, victorian settings, a question of what our society is like compared to that of the Victorian age.
So when the characters are transported back feel free to invent characters they will encounter (muggle or wizard) with names that are sound Dickensian or something out of Sherlock Holmes that sort of thing....something like Mr Bumbershum lol.

Blood Status: Muggleborn

Profession: Bartender at the Leaky Couldron

Bio: Ethan was a quiet, solitary child, and that didn't change as he entered adolesence. Because he wasn't a social butterfly, Ethan never had many friends growing up. He's quite moody in his personal life, but at work, he's the friendliest guy you'll ever meet. He's terribly sarcastic, and he really doesn't like large groups of people. Sice he got the job at the Leaky Couldron, it's been his home. He really hates his landlady; nervous jitters and all those problems!

Bio: Cassie graduated in the top of her class. She may be gorgeous and slightly conceited, but she's one smart cookie as well. Cassie was a social butterfly, one of the most popular girls in school. She knew everyone, and everyone knew her. However, she only liked a small group of people. As an Auror, many don't take her seriously, but she's one of the best. Cassie expects only the best, and delivers as such.

Wand: 13 and a half inches, made of Holly and with a Phoenix feather core. The wand- (Which Leon jokingly refers to as Harald) - Is very thick and hardy and good for Charms work.

Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw (His parents weren't happy about that one).

Residence: A room in the Leaky cauldron is all he can afford at the moment.

Occupation: Leon is an artist, unfortunately he hasn't managed to sell much of his artwork and works as a waiter at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Shop inorder to pay his rent.

Family: Leon has never seen eye to eye with his overbareing father and disapproving mother, nether one of them ever supported Leon's dreams and pushed him to get a desk job like his father in the Ministry. Leon hasn't seen ether of his parents in years.

History: Leon grew up with his weathly parents and older brother in a huge mansion in Scotland. Although he was given plenty of toys and taught plenty of important things, Leon felt underappreciated throughout his youth. due mostly to his parents obvious favoritism toward his older (nearly ten years his senior) brother Liam, who was the perfect model of pureblood preening and had already climbed the ranks of the Ministry and still living with his family.

At the age of ten, Leon began to secretly rebel against his strict parent's rules. (no eating chocolate, no talking to muggles, no making a mess and no loud music) But it wasn't untill he was fifthteen that he became so fed up with his overly controlling parents that he packed up his things one night and ran away from home. Leon continued going to Hogwarts and after graduateing, traveled with his best Ned Hall untill settleing in London.
Ever since then he's been living (and struggleing) on his own.

Wand: Pine, very thin and twelve inches long with a unicorn hair core, excellent for Divination and Charms.

Bloodline: He's not completely sure, but that's not something he'll tell you about and when asked he generally says Pureblood or subtly changes the subject.

Residence: Ned lives in northern Ireland a few miles away from his aged parents and their house-elf: Lovi.

Family: Ned's father Oscar Hall was an orphan throughout his childhood, and didn't know of his magical abilities untill told of them by Hogwarts Deputy headmistress. Oscar was sorted into Slytherin and is very well known for his artwork. Oscar was born mute and believes it was for this reason that he was abandoned.
Ned's mother Irene Hall (Formerly Irene Benolay) was raised by very cold parents: who hardly cared what she did or how she did it, as long as she got into Slytherin and got good marks in school. Irene and Oscar met in Hogwarts and married two years after they gradutated. Unfortunately though they tried their best they couldn't conceive, it wasn't untill they stopped trying thirty years later that they had Ned.

Personality: Ned is sly and very charming, though he is a little proud and cautious, Ned can also be very kind when he wants to be. Ned's parents always taught him to be polite and to show people respect, but never to let others take advantage of him. Ned is always chasing after some new girl, but hasn't found a single one to keep his attention for more then a couple of weeks.
Ned is intelligent, but never feels the need to prove it. He gets good marks and all, but he doesn't like to draw attention to himself and so he hardly ever anwsers a question in class unless pressed by a Professor. Ned is patiance personafied and can wait for a good thing for days, even so,
The young man is concerned for his best freind Leon and turns up every now and then to check up on him.

Ned is very independent and his biggest fear is of being tied down and being dependent on someone else, it is one of the reasons that Ned never dates anyone seriously.

Personality: She can be shy but she is strong willed and will go to any lengths to get what she wants. Amelie is spoiled as she is an only child to two extremely wealthy parents. However she is also mature enough to know that she can't always have everything that she wants. Amelie was in a serious relationship for about a year but broke it off after she discovered that he was cheating on her, she has vowed never to date anyone seriously again as she doesn't want to get hurt that badly by anyone. She is an extremely independant person and thinks well on our feet, responding to new and strange situations with little more than a blink of an eye. Hardly anything phases her and she is slow to anger but when you push her too far you find that she has an explosive temper and is best to be avoided.

Tristram walked swiftly along the atrium floorboards. The sound of his boots against the floorboards echoed across the hall at 5:00pm. He couldn't wait for a rest after the day he had had. The thought of visiting family came into his mind. He hadn't seen them for at least 2 weeks. First of all he needed the leaky cauldron. Stepping in to the fireplace he said clearly, "the leaky cauldron".
He appeared spinning in the fireplace of the leaky cauldron. He brushed the soot off of his beige trousers as he approached the bar.
"Evening Cecelia" he said, "glass of firewhiskey and get one for yourself". He passed her several galleons. He noticed that there were only a few people in this evening. No doubt it might pick up at happy hour at nine o'clock.

Cecelia smiled as she saw one of her old freinds Tristram come into the Leaky Cauldron. She could barely believe it, she had not seen him in like a month. As he greeted her a chill went down her spine. As she heard his order of Fire Whiskey and said he was paying for her to have one too she wondered, were the sparks really still there after all these years and said, "Thank you Tristram you're too kind, one fire whiskey for you and one for me coming right up.". Cecelia then proceeded to go over to the bar and make the drinks and quickly returned with two fire whiskey and said, "cheers", as she proceeded to take a sip which knocked her off her feet. She had not had fire whiskey in atleast a month and had forgotten how strong that stuff really was but it certainly was a great pick me up after a long day at the pub because times were hard and she could not afford that much help and did most of the work herself. She looked back toward Tristham and asked, "So what brings you by the pub?".

Amelie was sitting at her mahogany desk looking down at some paperwork. She couldn't for the life of her remember what it was about. Seemingly she couldn't concentrate on anything today. She'd woken up with a headache which sometime around noon had turned into a full blown migraine and nothing she had tried had worked. It was just past five so technically she could go home but she didn't want to leave until the last of her employees were gone. There were only two still here but just the same she wouldn't leave in case they needed her. They were after all trying to set up a world cup game and that took effort. If anything went wrong she needed to be here.

Seeing the employees begin to walk out the door of their office she let out a sigh of relief and slowly rose from her chair while placing the paperwork in the top draw of her desk. Locking it she walked to the open door of her office, saying "Nox." before walking out the door and down to the atrium.

Stepping into the fireplace Amelie was about to call out her home when on a whim she changed her mind and said, "the Leaky Cauldron". The green flames enveloped her and a few moments later she stepped out of the fireplace, gently dusting off her clothes. Heading straight towards the bar she signaled for a bar tender and said, "One Firewhiskey please." before letting her head drop onto her hands.

Ah, yet another new employee of the Ministry, she remembered when her freinds used to beg her for free drinks during there first few weeks. She smirked a little as she walked over to the young women and said, "Right away deary", she said as she went over to the bar to prepare the drink and then went back over to the women and gave fer the drink and said, "That will be one galleon please.".

Amelie lifted her head and smiled appreciatively at the woman before handing over the required money and taking her drink. She sipped at it appreciatively, the firewhiskey was strong but she was used to it by now. It never stopped surprising her just how much Firewhiskey could perk her up, alleviating most of the stress from work which she didn't want to take home with her.

Tristram drank a large sip of his firewhiskey and it was just the ticket after the day he had had. Plus meeting up with an old friend helped alot as well. Tristram put down his glass before saying in a slightly tired voice, "Well Cecelia today was hell. I had more call outs than I can count on my hands and toes. One witch up in Glasgow had changed her husband into a horse and I'm not even sure it was accidental. Apparantly they had had an arguement before hand...right in the middle of a barbeque with their friends there. But that wasn't as bad as some of the others. You'd think they'd never been to Hogwarts".
Another Ministry employee had followed him into the pub he remembered her from an interdepartment meeting. Department of Games and Sports if he wasn't mistaken. "Hi" he said "I take it your day at the ministry's been just as relaxing as mine?"
He raised his glass once more, "here's to a very productive day all round".

Cecelia chuckled a little as she raised her glass and said, "A productive day indeed", looking at the demeaner of the others and how she felt herself.

Amelie looked over at who she recognised as a ministry employee, she'd met him at an interdepartment meeting but for the life of her she couldn't remember his name or what he did. "'Ello." she replied with a small smile, being polite for now at least. "Hmmm it's been a bad day at the ministry, I've been trying to organise a Quidditch World Cup but dealing with all the other nations is driving my division batty. Whether that's as bad as your day or not I have no idea." she replied, raising her glass in agreement to his statement.
