CSJD? In NYC? OMG!
What? Clark, Shana, Jake, and Dani have graduated? Aww, I remember when they were this little! Don't tell them that. CSJD feel like they are old enough to go adventuring on their own-and so they chose New York City, possibly the pinnacle of adventure. But whaaat? The angsty teenagers they are, all the romance is confusing. Clark is going out with Shana, and Dani's dating Jake. Seems clear, right? But everyone's confused about who they really like. Among other issues, any way. Sigh. And they were looking forward to a peaceful summer....

Okay, that last little curl in his hair was just REFUSING to cooperate. Jake Upstead was TRYING to straighten his hair... wizard stylee. It was still green, even more so these days, as he used a colour boosting shampoo... yup. Anyway... his muggle straighteners had blown up and Jake was fuuuuurious. Everything of his seemed to be breaking.

Taking a deep breath, Jake headed through to the medicine cabinet in the house he was staying in... the house he had stayed in for the past year, in fact, hiding from his family. Only the three others here knew he was there. Sigh.

And there it was... a calming draught. Jake downed the potion he had been ordered to take for the past seven years and sloped back to his room, managing, with a little patience, to straighten the last bit of green hair, which was back the the same length it had been when he was about twelve.

Glancing into the mirror, Jake noted how different he looked with all his piercings out, especially when you couldn't see the holes and the like. Meh, he'd put them in later...

Was everything packed?

Errrrr...

"When does the flight leave?" Jake called through the house, pretty certain he was the first one up.

He hadn't slept, of course.

It.

Was.

Early.

However, Clark Landers was lookin' good...in his opinion. His (purple) hair was gelled down and parted to the right, his nose was not enlarged, and his jeans were sufficently clean. He would definitley take the New York fashion world by storm. If only he could get packed...oh, wait, he was. So he had pretty much everything going for him. Even though it was still like seven thirty.

Oh, good, Jake was awake...Clark could stop being obnoxiously quiet. Of course, Jake was being obnoxiously loud...."Good morning, sunshine." he greeted the green haired boy with a smirk as he walked down the wooden staircase.

Then sneezed loudly. "Uhmum...the plane? It leaves at eight fourty three. On the the dot." Yay for exactitude! "So, we should like, wake up the girls."

"Take your freakin' allergy medicine, dude," Jake said with the air of someone who had said that maaaaaaaany times before. Hearing what time the plane left, Jake checked his watch.

"Dude."

Blink. Blinkblink.

"That's like... in an hour..." he said slowly, poking his head out of the doorway from his bedroom. "International flights... don't you have to be there like 3 hours early?"

And of course... it was an hour's drive TO the airport. SIGH! It looked to Jake like they'd be apparating to the airport. "The girls aren't even UP?!"

Clark grimaced at Jake. "Wear a hat, dude." That would make life so much easier, sometimes, if people just wore hats. Nonetheless, he summoned the clear glass bottle, opened it, and drank it down. Ick. And what was with Jake the Green haired menace and saying dude? Dude, it was just so weird, dude! Like, totally dude.

Dude.

And whaaaat? "Three hours? Cos I really wanted to be up at four....whatever. We have the boarding passes and all right?" he asked hopefully. Those little pieces of paper were like, worthy. "So we have an hour? Yeah, I'm dressed, I'm packed, I'm ready..." and alllll the color drained from his face.

"Yeah, the girls aren't up....and they should be...oh, dudeman." he sighed. "Yeah, go wake 'em up. I'll just sit right here," he said, plopping himself down on the light blue carpeted floor.

Shana opened her eyes and turned over...Maan only 7:45....she turned back over and closed her eyes..But not for long before Clark And Jake started being loud.Hmph.Trust them.She got up and got dressed.Meh her hair waaas a biiiig mess.She'd do it later,first things first go tell Clark And Jake off.She stormed down stairs still half asleep and straight into the room Clark was sitting in.DO YOU MIND?! She shouted at the top of her voice.I was trying to sleep,until you too rudely starting being loud and woke me up.Hmph. she walked off outta the door and stopped,what time where they suppose to fly off to New York.Shrug.She walked back in and rolled her eyes.What time do we have to leave ? She sat down next to Clark and looked around for her muggle mobile phone.

Dude. Woman, sigh. Clark flinched as Shana screamed at them for being loud. Hypocrite."Shana, we have to leave about three hours ago," he smirked at her. "We weren't being loud, we were being...loquacious," he nodded. Yeah, that was the word. "I trust you're packed?" he raised his eyebrows at her as she sat down next to him. She was still his girlfriend, anyway, even if they had fallings out. "The plane leaves in about an hour, we have to apparate to the airport, AND go through security, et cetera, et cetera. So, whenever Dani wakes up and everyone gets ready, we have to go. Like, then." he nodded. Why don't we have time-turners, Clark sighed to himself. "So..."

Shana nodded.Im all packed and what the heck does Loquacious mean ? she looked at Clark blankly then lay her head down on his shoulder.Wait.My phone.It was riight on that table last night,I left it there incase I got a text. she looked around and then began to panick.She NEEEDED her mobile phone.Oh crap.She jumped up and began to throw cousins everywhere and moving every peice of funiture should could,She MUST find her mobile.Wheres my mobile ? Wheres my mobile ?Wheres my mobile ?Wheres my mobile ?

So, Shana was packed. That was at least one good thing, beside his appearance. "Locquacious means talkative," he smiled as she lay her head on his broad shoulder. And then she was freaking out. Again-women. Sigh. "Your mobile phone?" he stood up, alarmed. "So, you put it on my table...and I put my soda on that table after the game last night..."They had played their traditional Tuesday night Quidditch game...(well, not Shana. She was still totally afraid of heights) "So, maybe, when I threw my soda away, yeah, it must have been dark! So," he dropped on all fours and examined under the table. Nothing but some dust bunnies. "Where else would it be, Shane?"

Shanas eyes widened as he said he put his soda in the bin.You better hope you didn't put my phone in the bin. And,Uh oh...Didnt the bin men come today ? Sha-na...Not Shane. she nodded.Anyway,Im too tired to Act drama queen-ish.She sighed,Sit down,yeah ? Meh.Only 9:00 AM..weell if Clark sat down then she could sit on his lap and go to sleep til arouuund 12:00 AM.Theen she should be all good.Yep,12:00 AM should do it.She wandered upstairs and grabbed the brush off her dressing table,brushed her hair and walked back downstairs.

"I don't think so," he shrugged. Right? Yeah, he was pretty sure. Cos, how could he put the phone in with the soda? Nah, it was probably off in a corner somewhere. "What if we called it?" he asked her as he sat down against the brightly patterned wall. "Couldn't we hear it ring and follow it?" he smiled at her. And then she left. Meh, she was probably looking for the phone. Or not, as she came back upstairs with neat hair. He took her hand and gently pulled her down beside him. "But we have to leave in about twenty minutes." he added, disgruntled.

Shana fell to the fall with a bump and leaned her head on Clarks shoulder again.You can phone it if you want.But Im NOT going to New york without my phone,Incase I meet people and need there number or something ergent happens and I to take a picture or something.she nodded.

"Of course," he laughed. She needed to take a picture? That was worth losing the phone to hear that. "Tell you what. If we can't find your phone, you can use mine. I don't even use it all that much." he winked at her, then pulled his phone and dialed number four on speed dial. "I just dialed your mobile...what's the ring tone?" he asked her, Clark's arm around her shoulder. "Listen for it."

Shana smiled.Thanks.Umm I think it just like jingles.She got up and winked at Clark.Hmm phone jingle,wheeere aaare you ? She walked into the kitchen.GOTCHA! She shouted and ran over to her Phone and walked back into Clark.She gave him a kiss on the check and wondered off to put on her make up.

"Jingles? Like bells?" he called out to the hallway where Shana was looking. He thought he heard something like jingly sounds...and he did! She found it! Woo! He was on the good list. He even got kissed! Clark felt extremely special. Shana left to get her makeup on as Clark tied his shoes. Why was Dani still asleep? "JAKEEE!" he shouted. "GO WAKE UP YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!!" It was a long story how Dani and Jake started dating, as well as Clark and Shana. Jake used to date Shana, and Clark dated Dani, but their was no tension in the apartment. They were best friends, simple as that.

Shana heard Clark shout Jake.She shouted down the stairs.Clark! At the rate your shouting Jake wont need to wake her up! she said and then walked up the stairs.Ick.Her hair needed straightening.Straighteners ? Straighteners ? Where are they ? She rolled her eyes,She didn't acctually own any straighteners,Quite odd acctually not odd,since her hair was already straight.She walked out and stood at the top of the stairs.Jaaake! Can I borrow your straighteners ? She shouted and stood at the top of her stairs waiting for a answer.

Dani yawned and stretched as her super loud roomates woke up. "Hmmph." She mumbled as she stood up and headed out to the living room, still in her pajamas. "You guys are loud." She grumbled at them as she headed for the coffee pot. It was too early. She was not a morning person. Her phone went off. She looked down. It was a text from Joey. It said:

Oh snaps. That was today? She wasn't even packed yet. She looked at her room and wondered how long it would take her to pack. She wasn't exactly the most organized person on the planet. Hopefully her friends wouldn't decide to freak out and go all crazy like they often did.

Shana her a door.Good,Dani was awake and yeah Dani was definitely awake unless a Evil clone,cloned Dani and was wlaking past her buut Naah that was probably the reaal Dani.Just to make sure Shana looked at her and Said.Are you the reaal Dani ? Or a evil clone ? Annd Mornin' We have to go in like 20 minutes and While your downstairs ask your boyfriend if I can borrow His straighteners.Thanks she smiled and sat down at the top of the stairs.La de da de daaa.

"Ja-ake!!!!!" Dani yelled in the general direction of her boyfriend. "Shana wants to use one of your straighteners!" Cup of coffee in hand, she headed back to her room, pulled out a bag and started stuffing her clothes into it. She coudn't believe she had forgotten. This was horrible. She had been looking forward to this trip for a while, but family drama had been distracting her so much. She had moved in with her friends to get away from it, but it had follwed her.

Clark walked across the hallway to Dani's room. At least she was awake...and packing. Sigh. He had dated Dani for a little bit back at Hogwarts, but at least they were still friends. "You need some help?" he asked, leaning on the doorpost. Before she could answer, he picked up his wand and cast a spell that stuffed her closet-or, most of it, at least-into a few of the suitcases. They were going to be gone for the summer and at least part of the autumn, but he figured they would be going shopping. "So, excited?" he asked her.

Shana walked downstairs.Maan why was Jake ignoring her ? She shrugged and walked into the same room as Him.So Can I borrow your straighteners or not ? she walked over to the fringe and poured herself a glass of Pumpkin Juice.Ahh.Pumpkin juice,yuummy.She looked at the clock hanging on the wall.Umm Shouldn't we have like left already ? she shrugged,they were so not going to make it to their flight,Unless whoever was driving drove supah supah Fast.

"Uhh. Thanks Clark." She went about unpacking half of the stuff and swapping it for the other part of the closet. She really didn't need her entire winter wardrobe with her in NYC. "Yeah." She looked around. Where was that green scarf? She never went anywhere without it. It had made Clark rather insane while they had dated. She thought back to their days at Hogwarts. Hmm. To the outside world their arrangement might seem strange, but that was just how the four friends were.

She looked down and realised she was still wearing Pajamas. "Clark can I get a minute? I don't really feel like going to the airport in my PJ's" She sipped her coffee. Eww. It was getting cold.

Shana looked at the clock.Hmph,Jake was obviously just going to ignore her,Hmph Boys.Annnd they were obviously not going to make it to their fly.Good-Bye New York. she said waving at the plane tickets before heading upstairs into Dani's room.Guys,Shouldn't we be setting of like...now ? she shrugged and walked back into her own room.Sigh.

Oops. Wrong half of the closet. Whatever, it didn't affect him. If it had been Jake, however, Dani probably would have been mad. It was so easy not dating Dani. Wait...was she seriously going to bring that chartruese scarf to NYC? He would never have a moment of silence...it made him sneeze just thinking about it. Achoo. Oh, she wanted him to leave. Fine by him. "At most three minutes, Dani." he said, checking his watch.

"We should leave in three minutes, giving us ten minutes to apparate and get through security. Our gate is in a really good position for us to walk like four steps, and our seats should be just boarding," Clark said calmly, even though inside he was freaking out. It had been three minutes..."DANIIII!" he called up to her. "TIME TO GOOOO!"

Dani had just pulled on the last leg of her jeans when Clark yelled at her. "Hold your horses! I'm coming." She grabbeed her suitcases and went to find everyone else. Clark was so pushy. Geez. "Calm down would ya?" This trip would be fun as long as Clark would stop being so.. Clark. Ugh. No escaping that.
