Hey, guys! Dee here.
Well, the lovely Ana (Lily Lupin) and I have decided we fall behind on RPs too often, so we should just make one of our own.
Sooooooo, here we go!
_______________________ The Plot
Professor Lauridsen and Professor Vescovi have known each other since their own student years at Hogwarts. They had always enjoyed a very loyal, fun-loving, competitive friendship that's led them to similar goals: to become professors at Hogwarts. And now that they have accomplished their goal, the young men are letting their competitive nature take over once again - but this time, it won't be them competing. It'll be their students.
And so, Professor Lauridsen and Professor Vescovi have chosen two of their many Muggle Studies classes to go on a mission solving a number of riddles and performing a number of tasks to lead them to their goal: a microwave. Hey, it's a Muggle Studies class so the goal must be a Muggle object! The students don't know, though, that they're going through all this trouble just to find a microwave. All they know is that they're competing against the enemy professor's class in finding a muggle artifact hidden somewhere in the school.
The winning class will get... to learn the functions of a microwave and free pizza. Okay, and they'll be guaranteed a passing grade on their final exams too.
Sooooo. You guys will have the freedom of choosing which professor's class your charrie(s) will belong in (-cough-Prof.Vescovi!!-cough-), but let's try to keep the number of students even so that each class has the same amount of people. But be careful, students... If you're in Professor Lauridsen's class, Vescovi will be out to get you and give you false clues [and viceversa], so don't be naive! Take only the clues and hints your own teachers and your own classmates give you!
P.S.: The kids are in their seventh year. =] (Unless you guys all prefer a different year, or something, just let us know.)

Aside from SS's own rules, we'd just like to add...
- Please, please, PLEASE try to be as active as possible! The more students we have, the better your chances of winning!
- There's no limit as to how many charries each person can have, but just make sure you can handle it! Don't go crazy and take five charries but then only RP two. (Though I do encourage trying more than one character, that way if your charrie hits a dead end, you can continue being involved with your other character )
- And this is the most important rule of all, and you all MUST follow it!

Appearance: Hair- Brown, curly, past her shoulders Eyes- Brown Build- Petite, but she’s stronger than she looks. Other- Most of the time, Leigh leaves her hair hanging down freely. When she's doing any physical activity, she throws it up in a messy ponytail. She doesn't care too much about her looks, her main priorities for her clothes are casual and comfortable, but she also dresses with style.

History: Leigh was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California. Her mother and father met after her dad graduated from Hogwarts and moved to America (he’s from England). The first time Leigh’s father told her mother that he was a wizard, she fainted...but it’s surely a good thing he told her, because both of Leigh’s older sisters (who are twins) are witches. Saved their mother from a nasty shock right there.
Leigh is the first one of her family to be in Ravenclaw, the others were in Hufflepuff. And although she hardly feels any pressure from her family, she doesn’t want to live in the shadow of her sisters, and wants to create her own legacy at Hogwarts.
Personality: Leigh is very...bubbly. She almost always has a bright, big smile lighting up her face, and her eyes sparkle with delight even when she’s not smiling. She’s sporty, energetic, and a bit spazzy at times. She’s the type of girl that likes to hang around boys more than girls, but has lately been more interested in boys as boyfriends, and not just friends. She's a tease, but doesn't really flirt too much.
She’s been swimming since she could walk, and she spends most summer days at the beach. Wether she’d be swimming, surfing, or just hanging out on the shore, the beach would be the place to find her whenever the weather was even somewhat warm.
She plays quidditch fairly well, and actually dreams of playing for a professional team. And as much as she may be athletic, she’s very brainy - therefor a Ravenclaw. She teases people a lot, and sticks up for what she believes in. I wouldn’t mess with her unless you want a lesson on how tough girls really can be.
Likes: Quidditch (she's a beater on the Ravvie team), animals, thunderstorms, the ocean, the beach, very, very hot weather, and the color green.
Dislikes: Rude, snotty people, and cold weather.

Appearance
Even though Lyra is very pretty, she’s also extremely modest about it. She is pretty self-conscious about her looks, and can get embarrassed easily when she’s complimented, though likes it all the same. Lyra also probably looks most different from her family.
Eye Color: Blue Hair: Brown Height: 5’8”
Personality
Lyra is the complete opposite of her twin sister, Lyssa. She’s sweet, naďve, and most of the time, pretty gullible. And being as trusting as she is, it seems as though it’d be pretty easy to take advantage of Ly, but it’s not always the case. She’s really kind, but she’ll stand up for herself if she needs to, and won’t let herself be walked all over. She’s quite smart, but also really modest. Even if she was really good at something, she really wouldn’t think she was that good. She has a joking personality though, and always seems to be smiling, unless really upset by something. She doesn’t get worried too easily, either. She is rather easy to persuade, and finds it rather hard saying no, especially to Lyssa. Lyra is really adventurous, but knows when she needs to be serious, or when things have gone too far, and thinks about things a lot, sometimes to the point when she over thinks them.
Family
Lyra’s family are rather rich, both of her parents having rather well paid jobs, her mother a journalist, working at home, and her father working with Magical and non-magical animals for a living. Her father earns quite a bit, though, because of having to work with dangerous animals, and he gets injuries to prove it often, but he’s not a snob about the money. Neither is her mum. Lyra does look up to her two siblings Lyssa and Mason, even though her twin sister Lyssa is only a bit older than her. Though her mother doesn’t quite agree with this, as Lyra is probably more sensible and responsible then either of them.

Background
Lyra grew up with her older brother Mason, and twin sister Lyssa in Oxford. Her parents have always had quite a bit of money, and she grew up in a pretty big house, but was never really very arrogant about it. Lyra has always been really close with her twin sister Lyssa, even considered as Lyssa’s “Partner in Crime.” Because it’s so difficult for her to say no to Lyssa, that Lyra always ends up helping her with pranks and mischief. And the thing is, Ly is rather useful for helping, as, she really seems so innocent and sweet, it’s so much easier for Lyra to get away with things. Unlike Lyssa, who’s pretty much expected to be bad. But Lyra still has her fair share of detentions, as people have grown to know Lyra isn’t so trustworthy with all her time spent with Lyssa, though most people still tend to trust Lyra a lot.

Not only does Lyssa act very different from her sister Lyra, but she also looks rather different, only sharing the same blue eyes, which seems to run in the family. Though, over all, in looks, and personality, Lyss is a lot more similar to her older brother, Mason.

Personality
Lyssa has a very fiery personality, and a sharp tongue. She’ll always say what’s on her mind, no matter how harsh or blunt it is. Mostly without realizing it, but occasionally on purpose. She’s the on who’ll talk back to teachers, and not really care how much points she loses, detentions she gets, or times she gets yelled at, the message never sinks in, and Lyssie still doesn’t just keep her mouth shut. Not to mention all the havoc and mayhem that she causes on a daily basis. But whenever she’s told off, or listening to something she doesn’t want to hear, it simply goes through one ear and out the other. She’s probably quite a hard person to be around if you’re trying to get her to behave, but if not, then she’s really fun to be with. She’s really friendly to people who are close to her, and that don’t annoy her. And always extremely adventurous. Though she can get annoyed and impatient rather easily. Lyssa is also really generous, if she wants to be, and up for anything. There really isn’t much she won’t do, and doesn’t have much of a conscience. She cares about people, she just wouldn’t mind making people feel guilty, or even persuading someone to do something they don't want to do.

It’s hard to tell what got Lyss to be so mischievous, rebellious and blunt, like she is, but she’s been like that since she started Hogwarts. And even though she’s impatient and at times, mean, that isn’t to say that she has few friends. Because, in her time at Howarts, she has made plenty of friends. Lyssa’s kind, likable side comes out just as easily and often as the blunt, harsh part of her, though. But she’s never been as close to anyone as she is with her twin, Lyra. Sometimes referred to as her “Partner in Crime,” But this is only partly true. Lyra seems to end up in trouble just as much as Lyssa, because she just goes along with her, and gives in much too easily. But Lyssa is also rather persuading, and Lyra looks up to her, even though Lyssa is barely any older. Lyssa rather likes it, though, but as well as her sister looking up to her, Lyssa is very protective of Lyra.

Appearance
Mathias is charming, and rather good-looking, and is rather fond of this fact. He is generally quite teasing about this to his peers, though he’s a bit more mature about it as a Professor now.
Eye Color: Light Blue Hair: Brown Height: 6’3”
Personality
Mathias is, overall, a very friendly guy. He usually means to be nice, though he has a very low maturity level. He is always teasing and joking to other teachers, and students, but the only thing is, a lot of the time, it’s rather hard to tell whether he’s being serious, or not. But, as friendly and good-natured as he is, Professor Lauridsen likes order. He’s sometimes known for letting a few students off, but, generally, he’s not afraid to take away points and give out detentions for misbehaving. It is a classroom, after all, not a playground. Although others could consider Lauridsen’s teasing mean, he’s not a harsh character, and is often fairly charming with the way he speaks. He can also sometimes flirt with the female teachers, but not constantly. Professor Lauridsen has quite a way with words, and can make things sound more interesting then they actually are. Even though he likes everything about the classes he teaches, Charms, Muggle Studies and History of Magic. Mathias is a very competitive guy, and will make a bet out of nearly anything. He even loves competition in classes, and it isn’t unusual for him to make friendly competitions for projects in classes. Firstly, it makes it interesting and fun, and secondly, it makes people work harder.
Family
Growing up in his family has always been really easy. His family is pretty wealthy, and he’s used to having quite a bit. And it’s probably due to his father and two brothers that he’s so competitive. His father always got them to play sports, and encouraged them in playing a great deal, along with encouraging them to be better than each other. Mathias, and his two brothers Kyle and Jared are all very competitive towards each other, and very immature. Even more so when they’re together. Mathias is probably the most teasing and competitive though, even though he really shouldn’t be, being the eldest. Though he’s pretty close with his sister Alexis, too, always having had a very teasing, close relationship with his sister. Though he’s most protective of her, too.

Background
Even though he’s rather immature, Mathias is serious when he needs to be. Though he was a very charming and friendly guy as a student at Hogwarts. He was specifically charming to girls, and joking and competitive to guys. He’s known Professor Vescovi for a long time, having gone to school with him, and quite naturally was very friendly. And he’s still got a good friendship with him now teaching at Hogwarts. Living in a pureblood family, muggle things always fascinated him just as much as magical things, which lead him to teaching Muggle Studies and History of Magic. Even though a lot of people aren’t really so fond of the last one. But it’s really quite surprising how many people he can actually get to want to listen to him in even what they consider as a very boring subject. And Charms, well it’s always been his best subject.

Penn is probably the friendliest of all of his brothers, and loves meeting new people. He's most generally vibrant, and ready to go, but sensible for the most part. He's not really book smart, but he makes decent grades. It's hard to ever see him unhappy, though at times he retreats into himself if he's really hurt. He's stubborn and defensive when someone offends him and has trouble taking no for an answer.

Ian is out playing quidditch, Adrien is in the kitchen cooking up something new, Fisher is painting one thing or another, Cal is writing some article for the paper, and Penn is everywhere in between, usually singing as he goes.

Penn's a great singer, but doesn't sing for anyone but his family when they constantly ask. That's his secret talent that no one really knows about. He hates green beans, but loves nearly every other food on the planet. He has a pet owl named Garlin.

Evie is eccentric, and wild when she wants to be, usually talking to someone or getting into trouble. She has a smart mouth, and always gets in trouble for talking back or being sarcastic. She's the life of the party, but retreats into a shell when she feels overwhelmed or cornered. She's quick to retort, and says things before she thinks about them, usually causing hurt feelings; but she really is a sweet girl.

Family Life:
Evie's family is moderately functional, but she and her siblings are always in fights. Whether it's about quidditch or who asked for the butter first, they're always fighting. But when they get tired, or haven't seen each other in a while, they actually get along really well.

Evie is usually described as strange, since she dances badly in the halls wherever she goes. She hates bananas but loves all other fruits. She has a pet rat named Randle.

Hey, it's a Muggle Studies class so the goal must be a Muggle object! 
The students don't know, though, that they're going through all this trouble just to find a microwave. All they know is that they're competing against the enemy professor's class in finding a muggle artifact hidden somewhere in the school.
But be careful, students... 
If you're in Professor Lauridsen's class, Vescovi will be out to get you and give you false clues [and viceversa], so don't be naive! Take only the clues and hints your own teachers and your own classmates give you!
