Deep in the heart of downtown Chicago is the apartment of Patrick McCarthy and his son Liam. This is the place where his daughter Fallon McCarthy and some of her close friends will be visiting for the summer. They are sure to have fun and many adventures in the big city. It's just what's bound to happen. They may have to camp out in the living room, but it's still gonna be tons of fun!

Fallon entered her dad's apartment with her dad, Liam, and Aaron. Satine was supposed to fly up to visit them at some point. They had just gotten back from the muggle hair salon where Fallon had gotten brave and dyed her hair red. Her dad didn't seem to look to happy about it, but he let her do it anyway. She walked in and sat on the couch in the living room.

Patrick didn't like the fact that his daughter's hair was now red, but he had said she could have anything she wanted for her birthday. He should've phrased it a bit better. He sighed as she went in and sat on the couch. "I'm going to go make some lunch. I'll be in the kitchen." He walked into the kitchen and started to prepare the food.

Liam was soooo excited. His sister's hair looked awesome. He heard his dad say something about lunch but he didn't pay any he attention. He just began to jump up and down on the couch where Fallon was sitting.

Aaron walked into... No, stumbled into the apartment. He was very, VERY nautious from the plane ride still. He was supprised he hadn't thrown up yet... And just as he thought that. "Excuse meeeee." He ran into the bathroom and vomitted in the toilet. aaah, that feels better. He flushed the toilest rinsed his mouth out, and went back into the living room. "Blech," he said sitting down next to Fallon. He took a chance to look around. "This place is cool." Well, it was nothing compared to hogwarts.

"Thanks Aaron. You gonna be all right?" Fallon said. She then turned to her little brother who was still jumping on the couch. "Liam, please stop jumping on the couch. It's getting kind of annoying."

"Why would I want to do that?" Liam said still jumping. He was excited to see his sister and her friend Aaron seemed pretty cool.

"Because if you don't, I'll tell dad and you'll be put in a time out," Fallon said matter of factly.

After she said this, Liam stopped jumping. "Fine." he said as he crossed his arms and pouted. He wasn't going to be able to get away with anything as long as Fallon was here.

"Yeah, I'm going to be alright. Stupid airplane. Why did I think it was going to be fun?" He laughed as Fallon threatened her brother. She had control over hm. I want that! "It's okay Liam. Fallon gave me a time out during school." he said smiling.

Liam laughed as Aaron said Fallon gave him a time out. He really liked Aaron. He was coooooolll. "How'd she manage that? You're not 5." With this he resumed jumping on the couch.

"Because I said it was. Apparantally, everyone's stomach takes it differentally." Fallon said answering Aaron's question. She laughed when Aaron told Liam that Fallon gave him a time out. "Liam I thought I asked you to please stop jumping on the couch!"

"I know you did," Liam said still jumping. "I figured if Aaron could survive a time out I could too!" He stuck his tongue out at her and continued jumping.

Aaron gave a look to Fallon that said, 'oops.' "You better listen to Fallon, Liam. My timeout was awful. I had to sniff Fallon's socks all day. you don't want to do that, now do you?" That was sure to get him.

"I guess your right. Gosh I feel so weird. Jet lag I guess."

Liam had a look of shock cross his face when Aaron said he had to smell her socks. He immeadiatially stopped jumping and ran into the kitchen to go tattle on his sister. "Dad! Fallon made Aaron smell her socks!!"

Patrick just laughed at his son. "I'm sure she did. Want don't you go in your room and play with your toys." He watched as his son pouted and headed towards the room. "Lunch will be done soon!" He called to Fallon and Aaron.

"Okay, dad!" Fallon called back. She then turned to Aaron. She felt bad that he had jet lag. "So what do you wanna do? Like I said there's tons of things to do her."

Aaron laughed hard as Liam ran into the kitchen to tell his dad what he said. As Liam walked into is room Aaron called to him, "I wouldn't jump on the sofa, because she then made me wash her socks by hand." He laughed even more. As Fallon's dad mentioned lunch. He said "Okay Mr. McCarthy." He then turned back to Fallon. "I don't know what I want to do. Sleep, I guess. I'm exhausted."

Fallon used everything in her power not to hit Aaron. That just wouldn't be nice and she would really get in trouble. She felt herself begin to yawn. "Actually, a nap sounds really good right about now." She hoped her dad would get done with lunch soon. She was just so tired.

Aaron rubbed his eyes to keep himself awake before lunch. "where are our rooms?" He said suppressing a yawn. He stood up and waited for Fallon.

Patrick walked into the living room carrying a plate full of sandwiches. "I didn't know what Aaron liked, so I just made a bunch of different kinds." As he was putting the plate down he heard Aaron asked where their rooms were. "Well Fallon has a room here so she'll be sleeping there. Liam will be sharing with me and you'll be sleeping in his room."

Fallon was about to grab a sandwich when she heard where Aaron would be sleeping. "What about Satine when she comes?" She took a bite of her roast beef sandwich.

"She can share with you. Now I'm going to go give your brother a sandwich, when you're done eating Fallon feel free to show Aaron where Liam's room is located." He grabbed a sandwich and brought it to Liam.

Aaron smiled as Fallon's dad brought in lunch. He was very tired, but he was hungry even more. He smiled at Fallon's dad and said "Thanks." He grabbed a random sandwhich and took a bite. Turkey, yum. He sat back down and once he was finished chewing he said, "Okay." in response to the room arangements. "So, remind me. What's there to do here, again?"

"Well, we can just go walking through the city," Fallon said before taking another bite of her sandwich. "There's the beach." She took another bite. "Shopping and basically anything else you can imagine in a big city."

Aaron chewed and listened to Fallon at the same time. He then thought of all the possibilities of a big city. Well, Aaron lived in London, which was a big city, but it was nothing like Chicago. "Is there something like a Diagon Alley in Chicago? Because you would think there would be because there ARE Wizarding schools in America." Then Aaron thought... He couldn't think of anything. "Nevermind. What's something you can do ONLY in Chicago, well, besides hanging out wit you in your dad's apartment."

Fallon thought about this as she chewed her food. "Well, there's this place called Navy Pier. There's the art museum, Millenium Park, and a bunch of other museums. There's also an aquarium." These were the first few things she could think of.

OOC: THE HOGWARTS EXPRESS IS OVER ALREADY AND DIAGON ALLEY IS OPEN!!! WE GOTTA FINISH THIS!!!

You can make this thread inactive and we can just have our characters do all the stuff but not make it happen and just recall it during the year.

Satine was so excited to fly up from Texas to visit her new friends from Hogwarts. She had been sooo excited that her parents said that A. she could go visit Texas and then B. that she could spend some of her time in USA in Chicago with her friends. She had never been to Chicago and was very excited.

She followed the directions to meet Fallon and Aaron. As soon as she saw them, she ran and hugged them both.

"Hey you guys! I'm so excited to see you guys." she said with a smile. She was extra lucky to have met some great friends and on the first day on the way to school. "I have to admit that I already miss Hogwarts." she said making an over exaggerated frown face.
