A cold had come over the Wizarding World. Darker than a moonless night, colder than a dementor's kiss.

(seven years ago)

It wasn't meant to end this way. As I stood in the dim room, a wand at my back, my arms splayed out, yelling in defiance as Ginny woke up to see it....
They said the Prophecy wouldn't come true yet. Not for years, and years, and years. But, they were wrong...
I was wrong....
I spoke a silent "I love you. The children too. Forever and ever and ever.." to Ginny. Then I could see it. The flash of green light.
Quicker and easier than falling asleep.

(30 minutes later)

James burst from the back door, tears falling rapidly from his eyes. He ran into the dark woods, the branches hitting him. He had left his wand in his parents room when he saw, if there were more of them, he couldn't save himself.....
He finally arrived to the clearing. The spacious clearing, covered in soft, green, well kept grass. His head was tilted slightly as his tears endlessly fell. He remembered the ball game they had played with Uncle Ron and his kids, while Aunt Hermione and mom watched on, laughing as young Albus tumbled over while trying to pick up the baseball bat.
"Dad... please.....not now.... not ever.....give me a sign, give me a sign, please, that better days are ahead...."
Thunder rumbled across the dark clouds covering the moonless sky, and James fell to his knees. A gentle rain fell from the sky, and James began screaming, screaming, the sound echoing across the forest.
The first move of the war had been played by the Sacred Order of the Darkness. Whether he liked it or not, James would have to fight.

(chapter 2)

The man ran to his master, out of breath but excited.
"MASTER! MASTER! HE IS DEAD! POTTER IS DEAD!" He screamed, his voice fading in maniacal laughter. Fireworks sent up from the wands of excited followers clouded the sky for moments, until the man standing on the rock that jutted from the cliff was noted to be standing still, emotionless.
"The amulet? Where is it?" The man asked. He had short hair that was combed back, his skin was pale from his time out of the sun, and his eyes were the most peculiar shade of blue- bright, but at the same time clear, like ice.
"Here master, of course, how could I forget... I apologize deeply, my lord...." The man took it out.
Gasps emitted from those who had never seen it. It was the color of ice, with a tinge of deep blue- and it was glowing. It was glowing with untold energies. The diamond itself was surrounded by a metal that seemed to have claws that stretched to the sides.
The man of apparent master-ship took it, a triumphant look on his face. He threw it done on the ground, and quite suddenly, smoke began erupting from it. The smoke began to grow in size and height, until it interlocked with the clouds, and snow began falling in considerable amounts...... and it began blotting out the sun......

(chapter 3)
(seven years later)

Albus ran down the hill wildly, shooting spells everywhere; the snow once more was falling, but was melted by the infernos raging around them before the flakes hit the ground. Even if the air was near boiling from the fire, there was still a chill in the air, if from the amulet or the death that happened seven years ago, he didn't know. The Darkers, as their enemies called them (they called themselves 'Purifiers'), were near fleeing. The surprise attack...well, it surprised them. Their Master was on top of a stack of crashed buses, launching spells at anyone, anywhere. Luckily, because of the skill of the Anti-Darkness Army, it was hitting his men more.

Albus was tearing through the Darker's ranks, backed by the sheer power of his army. James was behind him, his face filled with rage. James had changed so much since that day, seven years ago......

Suddenly, the army subsided, and their stood the Master. His name- his name, it had been so sad to learn it, to learn who it was......

"Stop it, Hugo! Please!" Albus screamed, his wand at his side. He would never attack his cousin......his friend....never his enemy....

"Its already begun, you idiot! Once the amulet has passed its dormant hour- its power will be revealed, and the man who has done it will forever be dominant-"

"JUST STOP! Please, please stop it, what did your parents ever do to deserve this?" Albus asked. At the mention of his parents, Hugo had look of remorse for one precious moment.

"What else can I do?" He whispered. And then, he flicked his wand.

Albus screamed in agony as his knee exploded in pain- it was an extremely powerful, concentrated version of Expulso. He fell to the ground, and the opening was all James needed.

"Avada Kedavra!" James yelled. The flash of green light.

Hugo fell over, onto his back, the metal of the bus making a thunk as he hit it.

Hugo Weasley was dead.

It wasn't over.

O.M.G. What the heck is going on that Harry's best friends' son is killed by his own?!? O.M.G.

What??? Hugo is not only evil, but he's dead! That's so sad. poor Ron and Hermione! And James kille dhim worst of all.

(chapter 3)

The makeshift tent was filled with people caring for wounds, people who had been injured even more gravely than the self treating peoples.... Albus was currently surround by people going to work. He was currently being put to sleep for the surgery, but already people had begun work on his knee, or else he would lose to much blood.
"Is he out yet?" asked Roger Ramirez, looking around. There were several nods, and he set to work. Albus's knee was... to say the least, a mess. He was lucky he hadn't lost too much blood.

James sat on a seat, his stare distant. He was about a yard away from Albus and the gaggle of doctors. A cup that (had been) full with fire whiskey was resting on his knee. Burn some feeling into him. What had happened? What had happened to them that they had to deserve this?

Why did Hugo deserve this?

3 years before the death of Harry James Potter.

A person was kneeling in front of a grave. It was raining hard, and lightning flashed every so often. The persons head was down. The flashing lightning revealed the gravestone.

RON WEASLEY AND HERMIONE GRANGER
PARENTS
FRIENDS
VICTIMS

The head of the person lifted slightly to read it.

At the same time of a particularly powerful lightning strike, the person threw his head up, letting out a scream of pain.

Something deep within Hugo Weasley broke, irreparable.

(1 year later)

The temple stood dark against the blood-red sky. Right through the doors is the huge chamber, and at the end of the chamber was a huge throne, and at that throne sat a man whose face was hidden behind the shadow of the hood. Lord Malum, the leader of the Sacred Order of the Darkness.

The doors were blasted open, and with came several hundred guards. All dead.

A person walked through the doors. It was Hugo.

Something was different. Every line in his body spoke of defeat, but at the same time power. He radiated power. His wand was gripped tightly in his hand, and his clothes were torn and dirty and covered in red stains. His eyes were slightly narrowed, and around his eyes were purple circles; a sign of the little sleep he had achieved. His mouth was curved into a frown.

Malum didn't even twitch; although his head tilted slightly in curiosity.

"I'm here for revenge, my lord." He said, and simultaneously, hundreds of green bolts of light flew at him. He twitch his wand upwards, and the dead bodies flew up and took the curses. Another twitch, and the bodies were set aflame and sent at the attackers. He then began taking out anyone still standing; they ALL fell. He then turned his attention to Malum, who still had his head tilted; he was chuckling softly.

In a move Hugo even couldn't see, Malum sent dark tendrils of energy at Hugo; but the redhead was smart. He waved his wand, and the curse was rebounded at Malum; as soon as the tendrils touched the dark lord, he began screaming in agony; his was lifted into the air, and, in an explosion of the darkest of energies, fell to the ground as a skeleton. Just as some of the deceased lord's subjects rushed in, Hugo sat upon the throne; he began glowing with so much power that the followers had to bow.

And so began the Reign of Terror.

Oh my! Ron and Hermione dead????? Poor Hugo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how's Rose feeling right now tho?

Poor Hugo! What in the world happened to Ron and Hermione? And what about Rose?

The amulet sat in its handle, glowing brightly and sending beams of blue lights into the sky. It was beginning to pulse. The ritual was working.

James was running from them. A huge army of dementor's, Darker's, and mercenaries. Spells flew past him, hundreds, snow fell in large amounts, and dementor's gave everything a not needed chill. He was running, running, running as fast as he could. His mind was racing with what to do...this field was awfully long....

More screams erupted, loud war cries, and he was still running. His legs were burning horribly, he had a terrible stitch in his side, his wand wasn't in his hand....

Then a dark shape flew in front of him. He got closer...

Albus.

Limp, broken.

Dead.

James couldn't stop...but....Albus.....No.....

Suddenly, another body.

Rose.

No....she was... she was so young.....




James woke with a start. He was sweaty, and breathing hard.... so REAL....
Just a dream....just a dream.....

Gosh!! James, Albus, Rose

Thank god it was just a dream!

so sad!

Wow!
For a moment there I thought it was real.... and I was about to go like "WHAT?!?!?!? What the heck happened?!" And then I saw it was a dream and was very relieved. But wow, this is getting interesting.
