“Living room- now” I said, leading her away. I could feel the others watching us through the glass doors. “Alicia- ” I started but she cut me off.

“No, I’m not a vampire- I just got a few tricks, that’s all” She said and I nodded.

“Is that it? The healing and the speed?” I asked and she frowned.

“Not sure- wait...” She darted to the couch and lifted it with one hand. “Cool” She grinned as she dropped it and sat down. “I wonder if I got the snarling and growling thing too?”

“Why didn’t you tell me about second year?” I asked and she glared at me.

“I thought you would over-react at the time” She said quickly.

“You still should’ve told me- I had a right to know” I said quietly. Alicia jumped to her feet.

“The day Hermione and I got petrified. I had a vision of Hermione in the Hospital Wing, so I went to find her. I walked straight into him- he pinned me against the wall while Crabbe and Goyle stood there laughing. He said that a pretty Mudblood like me shouldn’t wander around alone anymore, that I should stay with someone. He said that if I wanted a change I should ditch you- I spat at him and ran off. As I found Hermione, we found the Basalisk” She said loudly, tears pooling in her eyes.

“So why didn’t you tell me?” I answered back, causing her to glare at me before turning away.

“I was scared of what you would say” She admitted quietly.

“You were scared- of me?” I asked, turning her round. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. She nodded and I hugged her tightly, burying my face into her auburn hair.

“You don’t hate me?” She muttered into my chest and I laughed, stepping back.

“Course not- I could never hate you” She looked up at me and I kissed the tip of her nose. “While we were at Hogwarts, did you keep any more secrets?” I asked. She looked horrified for a second before hiding her face again. I just laughed and pulled her onto the couch. “I’ll take that as a YES”

“I’d known about the Stone all year...” She said and I laughed again. “What?” She asked, looking up at me with a slight smile.

“I’d sort of guessed that... The strange talks with the teachers gave it away” I said and she grinned. “Second year?”

“I knew it was Ginny... I was going to talk to her but...” I nodded and she didn’t finish her sentence.

“Third? Don’t tell me, you knew all about Sirius and Remus being a werewolf” I said grinning

“And about the time turner- I had one too” She peeked at me before continuing. “Fourth... Not that much really- I only knew the tasks... Sixth and seventh, they were secret free”

“What about our fifth year?” I asked, frowning. She pulled a face.

“Everything” She sniffed loudly and I decided to change the subject.

“Want another burger?” She grinned and hugged me tightly before following me back outside.

“How was the domestic?” Fred grinned and Bill, who was watching over the barbeque, threw a sausage at him. “Hey!”

“Butt out” He said, passing Alicia a burger. Fred pulled a face at him and remained silent.

“Hagrid, I can hear you...” I looked over at Alicia as I walked back to the food, letting Bill sit down. She narrowed her eyes at Hagrid, who smiled impishly.

“Are yeh certain yeh wan’tha’ burger?” He asked as he stopped smiling, concern taking it’s place.

“Hagrid! I am not getting fat!” Alicia said, scandalised, glaring at him and dropping the burger back onto her plate.

Of course she would wonder about the snarling and growling. *shakes head*

I despise Goyle. *repulsed*

Okay, so I've had a bit of computer trouble but I think I've fixed it...

“Alicia, dear, it does seem that way… What have you feeding her, Jamie?” I stared at Aunt Molly with a tiny smile.

“Right- I am not getting fat!” Alicia snapped, standing up. “I’m four months pregnant!” Alicia said loudly. Congratulations sounded round the table and I noticed someone staring at Alicia with worry on their face. Then they spoke over the noise, making a few people star at them.

“Alicia- that bite didn’t turn you fully, I don’t think it will be the same for the baby. Maybe- ” I watched as Alicia turned a glare on Naomi, effectively shutting her up.

“Maybe you should shut up?” She snapped angrily and the noise round the table stopped immediately.

“Don’t you talk to her like that!” Luna said sharply, narrowing her eyes at Alicia, whose hair turned pitched black.

“The baby will be fine- they both will! Nothing will be wrong with them! They’ll be two healthy babies! A girl and a boy! Completely fine! Party OVER!” She shouted and the lights overhead exploded, showering the table in coloured pieces of glass and leaving the garden lit by the moonlight. Alicia pushed away from the table and stormed towards the house.

“Hormones” I heard George mutter and Alicia turned on him.

“Get. Out. NOW!” She screamed and most of the guests apparated. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Neville stayed in their seats. Luna threw a dirty look at Alicia before apparating Sam out.

“Alicia!” I said, staring at her. “That was our friends and family!” I put the barbeque out as she turned and ran for the house, vanishing in a blur of colour. “Alicia!” I ran after her, the five remaining guests following after me. A single sob travelled back to us on the wind. “ALICIA!” I shouted, throwing the glass door open. I heard a door slam upstairs and followed the sound, finding that she’d locked herself in the bathroom. “Come on, Ali- we’re not seventeen anymore, you can’t hide in here” I said softly, leaning against the door. A smashing sound came from inside and I glanced back at the others, who shrugged. “Alicia! Open the door! Ali!” I said louder and the sound of the lock clicking open was followed by the door swinging open.

“Why did you punch the mirror?” Ron asked, a frown on his face as he stood in the doorway with the others while I walked up to Alicia as she ran her hand under the cold tap, the water running red for a second before she withdrew it, fully healed.

“I’ll never get used to that” She muttered as I put a hand on her shoulder. “I’m a bad person… I shouldn’t have lost it like that at Nay… Luna was right. I just felt the urge to defend, you know?” She said, turning to hide her face in my chest. “Neville, will you apologise to them for me?”

“Course I will- don’t worry about it, they’ll forgive you” He said and Alicia looked up to smile at him. Her eyes flashed pink.

“Hope and Carslisle- I like those names… You pick them in four months” She said and I grinned. The seven of us headed back downstairs, where Alicia flaunted her new powers.

“I’m surprised you never saw that coming” Ron laughed as Alicia cleared the garden in six seconds before joining us in the living room

“Well, if I’m honest, I wasn’t exactly looking for a vampire to be involved” She grinned, shrugging. “It’s not exactly at the top of my list to watch out for” She yawned and sat on the couch, her hair turning mahogany as she slumped to the side, her head landing in Harry’s lap.

“Er- Alicia?” He said as Ginny stepped forwards.

“She’s fine…” I laughed as Alicia let out a light snore, making the others laugh.

Part Six
Alicia

A light swung above me, making everything pitch and roll nausousely. As I glared up at it, movement in the shadows caught my eye, causing me to freeze. I glanced round quickly, noting the bars of the cage I sat in as the figure moved again.

“Are you prepared to stop fighting yet, Alicia?” I shot to my feet, my hair turning black as it shortened.

“Never” I hissed, bracing to blow my cage apart and kill him. “Don’t use my name- you have no right to call me that”

“On the contray, I think I do” Malfoy sneered, stepping forwards. “You see, I’ve got things that are very dear to you- five, to be exact” I breathed heavily, dropping onto the low bed and holding my head in my hands. “Also, there were those nights we spent together-”

“You spent- I was unconscious after being attacked by your goons, remember?” I spat, jumping up again.

“It won’t work, by the way” He said causally, strolling round the outside of my prison. “The bars are enchanted- you can’t break them any more than you could break those chains” I had no idea what chains he was talking about, but I glared at him anyway.

“I’m not planning on breaking bars- I’m planning on breaking bones- especially yours” I snarled, my hands balling into fists.

“You forget, I hold all the card, love, not you” Malfoy said, smirking. “Your twin boys… Your husband… your pretty little girl-”

“Don’t you dare touch Amii!” I said, feeling sick at the thought.

“What do you take me for, Alicia? I don’t need the eleven year old- there’s the other one, what’s her name? Amii’s older sister”

“Tasha has nothing to do with you!” The words burst out, shaking slightly.

“She’s so much like you when we were that age” He said suggestively and I narrowed my eyes at him dangerously. “It’s almost uncanny” He laughed as I tried to lunge at him. “Going to stop fighting now?”

“Until you stop breathing for good, I’ll fight” I snarled, shaking with rage.

“Very well- bring them in” My head turned as a door opened behind me, light spilling into the fancy living room.

“Mum!” My breathing hitched and my heart skipped a beat as Alfie’s shout echoed round the room.

“Alfie! Sean! Amii!” I cried as they ran towards me. I dropped to my knees and threw my arms out between the bars.

“Mum-” Sean said, gripping my hand tightly.

“Don’t be scared- I’ll fix this! Mummy and Daddy will fix this- I promise- NO!” The last word was a snarl as someone pulled them away from me.

“Going to stop now?” Malfoy asked casually, still circling me with a bemused expression on his face.

“As long as you’re still breathing, I’ll never stop” I spat back. He must have motioned to someone because another door opened.

“I think it’s time to see who I’m working with, Alicia, but first” He waved to something behind me.

“Mum!”

“Bring her to me” He drawled, making anger and panic collide inside me as Tasha was led past me.

“No! Don’t you touch her! Tasha!” I shouted, grabbing the bars and pulling on them uselessly. I heard Malfoy whisper something and then Tasha screamed. “Stop! Tasha! TASHA!” I screamed, still yanking on the unyielding bars.

“Bring the Blood Traitor in- move this somewhere else” Someone dragged Tasha’s unconscious body away, but my attention was on another door.

“Jamie…” I whispered heart-brokenly as he was dragged into view by his hair. “Oh, baby… NO! Don’t you touch him!” I yelled, fury boiling through me as Malfoy stood next to him as he tried to push himself up weakly.

“We’re suddenly very touchy, aren’t we?” The blonde chuckled, kicking Jamie squarely in the back and forcing him into the carpet. He groaned in pain and rolled towards me.

“Get up! Please, get up! Please-” I pleaded with him, trying to reach for his hand. Something made contact with my face and I was flung backwards into the bars- hard.

“Leave- her- alone” I heard Jamie say, his voice broken and full of pain as my nose broke. “Ali- you- ‘kay?”

“Course- all in a day’s work” I said, spitting a mouthful of blood as my nose reset by itself, making me wince. I tried to moved forwards, but was flung backwards again.

“I- love- you” I stared down at him, tears pooling in my eyes. His face was cut and bruised, his sapphire eyes had lost their sparkle, just like his voice had lost it’s volume.

“I love you too- now and forever” I answered as his thoughts registered in my head. The tears started to fall and I fought against the invisible force again. “No! don’t you give up on me! I will not lose you, Jamie Starlight! Please!” My words were intersperced with thuds from my back hitting the bars and the odd sob that broke free of my chest.

“Touching… You two haven’t changed much since school” I froze, my tearstained face looking up while my eyes remained locked on Jamie. “Looks like I’ll just have to change that, then” A light flickered on in the far corner and I glanced up to find an oddly familiar looking man pointing a wand in my direction. “Remember me?”


I jerked upright, screaming loudly, and Hermione fell out of the arm chair.
Something smashed in another room.

“Alicia!” Hermione said, scrambling to my side as footsteps echoed upstairs. “Alicia- shh!” I heard the door burst open and Jamie, Harry and Ron appeared in front of me.

“No… No… No…” I repeated, hugging my knees and staring at the opposite wall as Jamie sat next to me, slowly wrapping an arm round my waist.

“Shh… It’s okay- you’re awake” He whispered and I forced myself to hold still. He placed his free hand on my face. “I’m here… It’s okay… What did you see?”

“Jamie… I saw- I saw- Malfoy’s working with- with- with-” I couldn’t get it out as I stared at him wide yellow eyes.

“Alicia, who? Who did you see?” Harry demanded, stepping forwards as Ginny walked into the room, carrying a tray.

“I saw- I saw-” I stuttered as the image flashed up in front of my eyes again.

“Who, Alicia?” Harry said impatiently while everyone stared at me. Jamie threw a warning look at Harry as Ginny froze in the middle of the room.

“Seamus Finnigan” I whispered. The tray hit the floor, sending food in every direction.

SURPRISE!

I finally made my way over to your story!! Took me long enough.
I have been following/read your other stories on Alicia and Jamie. They have got quite the family. And they are very, very well developed.
GREAT job!!!

Part Seven
Jamie

“I don’t believe it… He wouldn’t-” Neville said, falling into a chair.

“How do you know?” I asked Alicia, wrapping an arm round her waist again. She leaned against me as if she needed the support.

“He was there- in my vision” She whispered. “I was shut in some sort of cage… Malfoy was there, telling me not to fight anymore… He brought the kids in…” Her eyes filled with tears as she continued. “Then he took them away again… They brought Tasha in- Malfoy cursed her… Then- then…” The tears spilled over and she buried her face into my chest.

“Then, what?” Ron asked, his voice hoarse and sounding like he didn’t really want her to answer.

“They bought Jamie in… Dragging h- him by h- his h- hair… They’d tortured h-him that much, h- he couldn’t stand!” She said, still sobbing into my shirt. I stroked her pale blue hair absently. Could it really be that we had escaped Malfoy Manor yesterday, only to end up there again in the future? “Malfoy kicked h- him- I tried to reach for h- him through the bars, but something h- hit me in the face, breaking my nose, which h- healed immediately. H- he stopped fighting… H- he was barely alive! I started shouting at h- him, telling h- him not to give up” I felt the smile tug my lips up. Even in a life-or-death situation, trust Alicia to shout at people. “Then I heard h- him- I looked up and h- he h- had his wand pointed into my face- that’s when I woke up” She pulled away from me, wiping her face on the back of her hand and sniffling.

Aaaahhh! Abi! You can't just leave it there!! (but obv I understand why you may have... busy lives equal short posts)
