Hey everyone! It's been a long time I know! But do not worry I have not forgotten about any of you! Christmas break is coming up so that means more time and more chapters! Yay! I hope you all forgive me for taking so long I will make it up to you all I promise!

Now for the end of Chapter 5!

Chapter 5 Part II: The Truth

“Maybe” Jacqueline answered as she turned her attention back to the window. She didn’t care who this guy was, she just wanted him to go away.

But he didn’t...

“Do you not plan on being a bookworm like your sister then?” the blonde boy said as he walked inside and sat down across from Jacqueline.

Jackie was annoyed. Who did this guy think he was?

“Who are you?” Jacqueline asked. “Why do you think you have the authority to talk to me the way you are...no wait… why do you think you have the authority to talk to me at all?”

Draco laughed. “So sorry, I mean, I know who you are…everybody does. But I am Draco Malfoy, the best looking guy at Hogwarts.”

Jacqueline crossed her arms and said, “Well there’s no point in me introducing myself since you claim to know who I am already...and I beg to differ. Harry Potter is a very good looking guy.”

“Potter?" Draco laughed. "You've got be joking. Anyways, I know just a few things about you. You are Jacqueline Granger, you’re related to that joke of a witch named Hermione. You came from France…Hey!”

Jacqueline had her wand pointing straight at Draco’s face. “Take that back. No one makes a joke out of my sister except me Draco. So if you have nothing but crap to talk get up and get out of here.”

Draco grabbed Jacqueline’s hand and lowered her wand. He stood up and smiled. “You have a lot of potential Jacqueline. And you are wasting it by hanging out with Potter and your sister. Learn to trust me and I can make sure you reach your full potential as a witch…there’s no need to risk your life for someone you just met.”

And with that Draco let go of Jacqueline and left the compartment. Jacqueline stood there in shock. That was it…she had to die…she had to die to save Harry so he could do his job and defeat Voldemort. But Harry didn’t want that…that’s why he would hover over her making sure she was under his watch at all times.

Jacqueline didn’t understand. Why did she have to die for Harry? What was the key reason in having to die for him when he had the potential to defeat Voldemort on his own…he was the “Chosen One” after all right? Was she the distraction? Was she the one who would help him to defeat Voldemort? Or would she have to give up her life and magic in order to make sure Harry succeeded?

Jacqueline shook her head. “What are you talking about Jackie…Dumbledore knows what he’s doing. He wouldn’t let anyone die.” But just in case, she would stick to Draco, he had to know something worth knowing.

Just then the door opened again and Harry walked in.

“There you are! I was looking all over for you. Jackie listen to me, you can’t run off like that” Harry said. He looked devastated and annoyed.

“I know Harry” Jackie said. “And I’m sorry, it won’t happen again.”

Harry sighed and looked around. “You've got that right...I thought you said you had to go to the bathroom?”

Jacqueline hesitated. “I…I did. And I went but afterwards I just came in here…I just can’t stand the tension between you and Hermione. Just ask her out already!”

Harry looked down and then shook his head. “No. I think I’m over her now…I mean I have a new priority and I have to focus on that.”

“And you’re talking about me right?” Jacqueline said. “Harry no…just let me be. When you need me I’ll be there for you and give you whatever you want but I just can’t have you in my bubble all the time.”

Harry laughed. “Are you breaking up with me Jacqueline?”

Jacqueline frowned. “Of course you would make a joke out of all this…Harry I know. I know I have to die for you. Draco told me.”

Harry just stood there perplexed. “You talked to Draco?” Harry walked over to Jacqueline and pulled her close. “You listen to me and listen carefully Jackie. Draco cannot be trusted. He is on his side, he’s with Voldemort…You can’t go anywhere near him. If he knows who you are he will try and take you to Voldemort himself so he can kill you. You need to stay close to me so you can be safe. Do you understand?” Harry asked looking closely at Jacqueline.

Jacqueline looked at Harry and nodded. “Yes Harry I do. But he does know who I am, he said so. And what if he knows something important. We can win without one of us having to risk our lives! If we attack Voldemort from the inside using Draco, we can win!”

“Jacqueline no…” Harry said. “We have to listen to Dumbledore.”

“I just don’t want anyone to get hurt Harry, that’s all…”

“And you think I do? I don’t like the fact that I have to partner up with you in order to have a slim chance of defeating Voldemort. I don’t want you to get hurt…because then that’d hurt…”

“Hermione” Jacqueline whispered.

“Exactly” Harry sighed.

“No Harry…Hermione!” Jacqueline said again pushing Harry away. Harry then turned around to see Hermione standing outside the door, watching them. She walked off.

Harry and Jacqueline had been face to face, Harry had been holding Jacqueline close enough to kiss her. It probably looked like they were from Hermione's view.

“Harry I’m so sorry” Jacqueline whispered.

Harry did not turn to look at her. “It’s okay. You’re my priority now anyways. It’s you and me. No one else.”

I am almost done with chapter 6 And it looks like I'm only writing for two readers now. But it's okay As long as there is some people reading my story I am more than happy. Just don't forget to give your honest opinion!

Here is Chapter 6!

Chapter 6: The Arrival To Hogwarts

Jacqueline walked off the train. She was being stared at by everyone and she hated it. She wanted nothing but to be home, wherever home was. She didn’t care, she just wanted to be away from everyone.

Jacqueline looked around and saw students heading towards carriages and other students heading towards boats by the lake. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were surrounded by friends and were already walking towards the carriages that Jackie assumed took students up to the castle.

“Perfect time to leave me alone guys…I have no idea where to go” Jackie sighed. Just then she spotted Draco walking with his group of friends. Draco caught sight of her standing alone and he motioned for his friends to go on without him. He walked towards Jacqueline smiling that stupid dazzling smile of his.

“Don’t smile at me. I’m not supposed to be talking to you in the first place” Jacqueline said. She crossed her arms and started walking away from him.

“You have no idea where you’re going so why don’t you just stay with me? We’re going to be sitting at the same table for meal times and sleeping in the same tower anyways” Draco smiled.

“Don’t you have a girlfriend or something?” Jacqueline snapped.

“Let’s just say I haven’t found anyone worth paying attention too until now” Draco laughed. “Let me just say Jacqueline, you are someone who should not be left alone.”

Jacqueline stared at Draco, “What do you mean by that?”

“You have terrible babysitters that’s all” Draco smiled as he led the way towards the carriages.

Jacqueline followed Draco, she felt like she had no choice because she had no idea where to go.

“Draco what did you mean by that? You know something don’t you?” Jacqueline said climbing into a carriage with Draco.

“There’s one thing you should know about me…and you already know it. Potter told you to stay away from me because I’m trouble right? Well he’s right. It’s better if you don’t ask any questions and just do what you are told.”

Jacqueline didn’t understand, but before she could ask anything else the carriage came to a stop. Draco stepped out of the carriage and tried to help Jacqueline out.

“I can help myself out thank you very much” Jacqueline snapped.

Once inside the castle Jacqueline walked away from Draco. She lost herself in a crowd of students until she heard them…She turned to her left and she saw Hermione and Harry yelling at each other.

“I thought she was with you! You are the one who follows her everywhere in the first place!” Hermione yelled.

Harry looked devastated as he threw his hands in the air. “Well some sister you turned out to be, you can’t even keep track of your own sister! I bet you anything Draco got a hold of her.”

Harry turned to exit the Great Hall when he spotted Jacqueline. Jacqueline began to walk towards Harry when someone pulled her back by her robes.

“Why are you walking over to him? What is he, you’re father now?” Draco asked.

Draco pulled Jacqueline back and led her out of the Great Hall into a hallway.

“Draco let go of me!” Jacqueline snapped tugging at her robes.

“Let her go Malfoy!” Harry yelled.

“Oh fine!” Draco said letting Jackie go. “But just know this Potter, she’s not safe even under your protection.”

“What do you know, just stay away from her!” Harry yelled pulling Jacqueline closer to him. “And you can go ahead and tell Voldemort that she’s alive and she’s going to stay alive!”

Draco smirked “Big mistake Potter, especially since you hardly know the girl.”
And with that Draco walked away.

“I told you to stay away from him” Harry snapped turning towards Jacqueline.

“I know Harry, I know! But that’s going to be hard if he’s one of the ones who is trying to kill me! He’s been showing up everywhere and anywhere!” Jacqueline said.

Harry leaned against the wall. “I know, and I’m sorry I let you out of my sight. Ron’s going to be watching you the times I won’t be able too, and with Dumbledore watching out for you as well I’m sure you’ll be safe for now.”

“What about Hermione? Why can’t she watch me?” Jacqueline asked.

“Because you’re lovely sister doesn’t want to play babysitter remember?” Harry snapped.

“You know for loving her so much you sure sound angry every time you talk about her” Jacqueline mumbled. “Don’t worry, I can take care of myself.”

“Jacqueline don’t be ridiculous. If Draco was able to pull you into a hallway by your robes imagine what he can do with his wand. You’re nowhere near safe on your own.”

Just then Hermione and Ron appeared.

“Draco has it out for Jacqueline” Hermione said. “He told Ron and I to make sure she doesn’t leave our sight because ‘Potter won’t be able to do the job.’”

Harry stood there in silence. After a few minutes he said, “I’m going for a walk. Jacqueline meet me in the common room around midnight. Ron you’re in charge of her until then.”

“You got it mate” Ron said as he watched Harry walk off.

“Ron for goodness sake, I’m her sister!” Hermione said. “I should be able to watch her!”

“Hermione let’s just do what Harry says until Dumbledore says otherwise. Dumbledore told you not to stay so close to Jacqueline in order to protect both of you. I mean, in case you haven’t noticed, you two do look similar. Well kind of, just the hair color.”

“I am not going to just stand by while…oh why am I complaining to you. I’m going to go talk to Dumbledore!” Hermione said. “Jacqueline just stay with Ron please.”

"Yes sir and yes ma'am" Jacqueline sighed. She hated taking orders from people and now she was stuck taking orders from Harry and Hermione.

And with that Hermione walked off. Jacqueline turned to Ron and said, “I’m sorry you have to do this.”

“Don’t be sorry, it’s something we have to do to save one another” Ron smiled.

Ron and Jacqueline walked towards the Gryffindor common room. After hours of talking and getting to know other students Jacqueline fell asleep on the couch. Ron covered her with one of his blankets and he soon fell asleep in a chair.

It was around two o’clock in the morning when Harry woke Ron up.

“Hey Ron, you can go up to bed now. I’ll take it from here” Harry said sitting down on the floor next to the couch where Jacqueline was sleeping.

“Where the heck did you go? I thought you said you were going for a walk” Ron said, rubbing his eyes.

“I did. I was on my way back after an hour or so when I ran into Hermione” Harry said.

Ron sat there looking at Harry, “Oh. Well okay, I’m going to bed. Night.”

“Night Ron” Harry replied.

Jacqueline opened her eyes and smiled at Harry.

“So I take it you and Hermione had a wonderful evening?”

Harry laughed, “It was everything but wonderful until the end. She yelled at me a lot more about how I’m taking you away from her and how I just want you to myself and then I told her I loved her while she was yelling at me.”

Jacqueline sat up, “What happened?”

Harry looked down and said, “She stopped yelling and we kissed. We’re going on our first proper date Friday night.”

Jacqueline dropped back down into the couch, “I’m…I’m happy for you two.”

Harry looked at Jacqueline, “Is it too soon? I don’t want you to think I’m trying to take Hermione away from you?”

“Harry...go to sleep” Jacqueline said turning over. "I never needed Hermione in the first place so what makes you think I need her now?"

She had no idea why, but hearing that Harry and her sister were finally going out with one another bothered her. Jacqueline sighed and pushed the thought to the back of her mind. Harry and Hermione were happy and that’s all that mattered.

Upstairs the sound of glass hitting the floor was heard. A few seconds later Ron’s voice was heard apologizing.

I finally got your PM so I knew I had to come on to read this! First and foremost, you've done an excellent job with suspense type building. I really want to know where Draco is going with this. I'm kind of wondering if he's got it in for Jackie and really wants to save her from her fate or else why would he watch her so closely?

With Harry and Hermione leaving her so much and disappearing at random times, I wonder if she's going to end up losing her judgment and go off to Draco for comfort, especially since she feels this way with Harry and Hermione getting together:

I feel like they're neglecting her importance, especially with her awful fate so I'm dying to know how she handles this. Now that I'm properly excited, you know that I'm going to bother you to death to update, right?

I absolutely love this fanfiction! I read all of it in one sitting. Can't wait for more!
