Intro: The story takes place between the final showdown and before the epilogue. Hermione must make a choice between Ron and Draco. She must make the most important choice of her life that will effect the relationship between herself, Ron, and Draco. It takes place before Hermione is supposed to marry Ron Weasley. During the middle summer of 2003. Betrayal, love and hate.

Chapter 1: The Secret Vistor

The night before Hermione and Ron were to be wed, Hermione was working on putting the final touches of the wedding at the Burrow out in the garden. She was doing this all by herself.

While Hermione was doing this at the Burrow, Ron was still working really late at the Minstry of Magic as an Auror. He was working on a case that involved muggles being either tortured or were tortured for fun by unknown dark witches or wizards.

Hermione starts to think of her wedding until she hears a real loud crack from somebody either apparating or disapparating, but she doesn't know who it was. She thinks it could be Ron coming home from a long hard day of catching dark wizards and witches.

She suddenly stops what she was doing and looks at the other side of the garden to see who just had apparated into the garden. The person was hiding behind a very large oak tree. Then she starts slowly walking over to the oak tree. As she finally made it over to the oak tree on the other side of the garden someone pulls towards them by the arm. She tries to pull free from the person who was pulling toward them behind the oak tree.

Hermione is shocked to see who pulled the oak tree. It was Draco Malfoy. He looked even more pale than usual. Draco whispers to Hermione as he let her arm go, "I know I am not welcome here, but I am here anyway. I love you, Hermione." After he whispers this to Hermione, he tries to kiss her on the lips, but she pulls from him as he was kissing her. She slaps Draco across the face leaving a red mark on his face. Hermione replies as she finished slapping Draco, "Why did you come here? You know I am supposed to get married to Ron tomorrow afternoon."

Draco stays silent after Hermione had slapped him acrossed the face from him kissing her. He looks at Hermione with his cold-grey eyes trying to avoid answering Hermione's questions. Hermione says, "Ron will end up finding out you about being here. When he does find out you are here, Draco with me since it will end up in trouble for you. So Draco, you better leave if you know whats good for you."

Draco decides to leave, but before he does he kisses her again, but this time Hermione doesn't stop him from kissing her. It felt like an eternity as Draco kissed her on the lips again. Afterwards Draco leaves before he is caught with her.

Hermione is left behind the oak tree and she starts to think to herself, "I love Draco Malfoy dearly, but I also love Ron Weasley at the same time. My heart belongs to Ron, but at the same time I want Draco."


Hermione hears Molly come into the garden and she hears Molly say, "Hermione. Come inside. You should not be out this late at night since there where attacks lately." Molly doesn't say who was being to attacked to Hermione.

Hermione heads toward the back door and enters into the burrow following Molly. Hermione goes quietly into the kitchen and she sits down at the table waiting for Ron to come home.

Around midnight as she was still waiting for Ron still sitting at the kitchen table. Ron Weasley finally comes home with a huge tattered and battered old brown briefcase held together with twine since it was full. The briefcase was filled with reports and cases from the Auror office. Ron sees Hermione a few seconds after he had apparated into the burrow and he gives her a quick peck on the lips. Nothing real passionate unlike the kiss Hermione had with Draco few hours ago.

Ron leaves the kitchen as he lugs the briefcase upstairs up to his bedroom. Hermione gets up from the table and follows Ron into the bedroom. As soon as they entered the bedroom together; Ron puts down the briefcase onto the floor beside the bed. Hermione changes into her pajamas and lays down on the bed under the covers. Ron changed into his pajamas as well and lays down beside her. Hermione says, "Good night." and she rolls over in the other direction away from Ron. She falls asleep and she begins to dream.

In the dream Hermione has:
Hermione is with Draco during her wedding. She is wearing pearl lacy white wedding dress that she is planning to accually wear to own wedding to Ron. click for dress. Draco is wearing a black and white tuxedo. click for tuxedo. She and Draco are kissing very passionately in the dream.

Draco has his hands on her body slowly moving down from the neck to her hips. They are in a secluded area away from prying eyes. She begins to moan very quietly when Draco is kissing her body and running his hands on her body.


Then the dream starts to change ever so slightly as Draco turns to Ron. Ron tried to kiss her in the dream. As soon she realize it is Ron kissing her she pulls away from him.

As the dream continues: Hermione begins to toss and turn in her sleep. She begins muttering in her sleep, "Ron, no. Draco." Ron was snoring so very loudly that he doesn't hear Hermione mutter Draco's name in her sleep.

hermione choosing Ron and Draco??? hmmm.... I think we all know the answer to that huh? Awwww... but anyways,,, i want Ron and Hermione to be together. this story is killing me for more H and R. hermione! Choose Ron *whisper* teehee... Love the story!

Chapter 2: The Wedding Day Duel



The very next morning as Hermione and Ron wake up together in bed. Ron says, "Good morning, Hermione." Hermione does say, "Good morning." back to Ron and she gets up out of bed. She wants to get ready for her wedding day.

Hermione avoids looking at Ron in the face as she arose out of bed since she would be giving her secret away that she loved Draco as well as Ron. She had been secretly seeing Draco for the last 6 months without the knowledge of Ron. He had no clue that she was seeing Draco behind his back.

Hermione knew that Ron loved her very deeply, but his work was getting in the way since he was always putting his work ahead of Hermione. He wanted the job of Head Auror. She resented it because all of Ron's free time was at the Ministry of Magic instead of being with her. She also knew that Draco loved her as well. She had began to fall head over heels for Draco since he had been there for her when Ron wasn't. But she was torn between lovers and she was seeing Draco without anybody even suppecting a thing.

Awww poor Ron!
I wonder who she'll choose... hmmmm

only time will tell if hermione makes her choice.
